本文提出一种一般解析方法——空间变量变换法,用以求解任意边界条件下圆柱厚壳自由振动问题.运用本文方法对悬臂圆柱厚壳的自振特性作了计算,计算结果与薄壳理论相应结果及试验值作了比较.理论分析和计算结果表明,本文方法具有很好的收敛性和精确性,可以推广用于分析梁、板、壳的自由振动.  相似文献

被动约束层阻尼圆柱壳振动和阻尼分析的一种新矩阵方法   总被引:4,自引:0,他引:4  
基于线弹性薄壳理论和线粘弹性理论,考虑粘弹性层的剪切耗能作用和各层间的相互作用力,导出了被动约束层阻尼层合圆柱壳在谐激励作用下的一阶常微分矩阵控制方程.然后,借助作者提出的齐次扩容精细积分技术建立了一种新的矩阵方法,并利用该方法研究了层合圆柱壳的振动特性和阻尼特性.该方法与已提出的以位移及其导数作为状态向量的传统传递矩阵法的根本区别在于,控制方程中的状态向量中包含了层合壳的全部位移和整合内力变量,因此,可以方便地适用于各种位移和内力边界条件以及部分环状覆盖约束层阻尼圆柱壳的动态分析.数值算例与解析解和有限元解的结果比较有力说明了该方法的正确性和有效性.  相似文献

The problem of the existence of natural oscillations of a thin elastic orthotropic circular closed cylindrical shell with free and hinge-mounted ends and of an open cylindrical shell with free and hinge-mounted edges, when the two boundary generatrices are hinge-mounted is investigated. Dispersion equations and asymptotic formulae for finding the natural frequencies of possible vibration modes are obtained using the system of equations corresponding to the classical theory of orthotropic cylindrical shells. A mechanism is proposed by means of which the vibrations can be separated into possible types. Approximate values of the dimensionless characteristic of the natural frequency and the attenuation characteristic of the corresponding vibration modes are obtained using the examples of closed and open orthotropic cylindrical shells of different lengths.  相似文献

根据各向异性矩形薄板自由振动横向位移函数的微分方程建立了一般性的解析解.该一般解包括三角函数和双曲线函数组成的解,它能满足4个边为任意边界条件的问题.还有代数多项式和双正弦级数解,它能满足4个角的边界条件问题.因此,这一解析解可用于精确地求解具有任意边界条件的各向异性矩形卞的振动问题.解中的积分常数可由4边和4角的边界条件来确定.由此得出的齐次线性代数方程系数矩阵行列式等于零可以求得各阶固有频率及其振型,以四边平夹的对称角铺设复合材料迭层板为例进行了计算和讨论.  相似文献

The lanthanum-modified lead zirconate titanate (PLZT) actuator, which are capable of converting photonic energy to mechanical motion, have great potential in applications of remote structural vibration control of smart structures and machines. In this paper, a novel genetic algorithm based controlling algorithm for multi-modal vibration control of beam structures via photostrictive actuators is proposed. Two pairs of photostrictive actuators are laminated with the beams and the alternation of light irradiation is in accordance with the changing of the corresponding modal velocity direction. The modal force indexes for beams with different boundary conditions are derived and a binary-coded GA is used to optimize the locations and sizes of photostrictive actuators to maximize the modal force index and guarantee the overall modal force index induced by two pairs of photostrictive actuators is positive. The control effect of multiple vibration modes of beams under irradiation of set/variable light intensity is analyzed. Numerical results demonstrate that the method is robust and efficient, and the use of strategically positioned actuator patches can effectively control the first two bending modes that dominate the structural vibration.  相似文献

给出了被动约束层阻尼圆柱壳(PCLD)的自由振动特性.波传播法被用来求解两端简支的PCLD圆柱壳的振动,而不是用有限元法、传递矩阵法和Rayleigh-Ritz法.基于Sanders薄壳理论,导出了PCLD正交各向异性圆柱壳的控制方程.数值结果表明当前的方法要比目前其它方法有效.讨论了粘弹性层和约束层的厚度,正交各向异性约束层的弹性模量比率和粘弹性层的复剪切模量对频率参数和损失因子的影响.  相似文献

运用模部分析方法考察了小Bond数条件下圆柱贮箱中弯曲静液面对液体晃动模态的重构作用.研究表明,圆柱贮箱中的液体作小幅晃动时,参与晃动的各阶基本模态的正交性若仅由Bessel模部来给出,则弯曲静液面将使各阶模态加权耦合,形成新的特征模态;参与晃动的各阶基本模态的正交性若由三角函数模部来给出,则弯曲静液面将独立改变各阶模态的固有频率,各阶模态之间不耦合.运用新的重构模态来研究圆柱贮箱中液体的横向受迫晃动,给出了其模态选择特征.  相似文献

Small free vibrations of an infinitely long rotating cylindrical shell being in contact with rigid cylindrical rollers are considered. A system of linear differential equations for the vibrations of such a shell is derived. By using the Fourier transform of the solutions in the circumferential coordinate, a system of algebraic equations for approximately determining the vibration frequencies and mode shapes is obtained. It is shown that, for any number n of uniformly distributed rollers, the approximate values of the first n frequencies and mode shapes can be found explicitly. On the basis of the orthogonal sweep method, an algorithm for numerically solving the boundary value eigenvalue problem describing the vibrations of a rotating shell is developed. Analytical and numerical results are compared. The obtained approximate formulas for frequencies and the numerical algorithm can be used to design centrifugal concentrators for ore enrichment.  相似文献

Vibration of non-uniform beams with different boundary conditions subjected to a moving mass is investigated. The beam is modeled using Euler–Bernoulli beam theory. Applying the method of eigenfunction expansion, equation of motion has been transformed into a number of coupled linear time-varying ordinary differential equations. In non-uniform beams, the exact vibration functions do not exist and in order to solve these equations using eigenfunction expansion method, an adequate set of functions must be selected as the assumed vibration modes. A set of polynomial functions called as beam characteristic polynomials, which is constructed by considering beam boundary conditions, have been used along with the vibration functions of the equivalent uniform beam with similar boundary conditions, as the assumed vibration functions. Orthogonal polynomials which are generated by utilizing a Gram–Schmidt process are also used, and results of their application show no advantage over the set of simple non-orthogonal polynomials. In the numerical examples, both natural frequencies and forced vibration of three different non-uniform beams with different shapes and boundary conditions are scrutinized.  相似文献

为缩减开口柱壳结构的振动,给出了一种局部主动约束阻尼(ALCD)敷设结构,并结合Lagrange方程和Sanders薄壳理论构建了压电耦合开口柱壳的动力学模型,根据推得的系统状态空间形式,应用归一化最小均方差自适应滤波算法(NLMS)和线性二次规划算法(LQR)设计了一种自适应反馈控制器,通过数值仿真研究了控制参数对开口柱壳中点动态特性和控制电压的影响.结果表明:NLMS反馈控制方法能在不同控制电压频率、滤波阶数和自适应步长下保证对开口柱壳减振的有效性;增加自适应步长和滤波阶数能进一步提高减振控制的响应速率,但会导致控制电压超调量增加,而取较大的滤波阶数和较高频率控制电压可以减小噪声扰动,增加控制系统的可靠性.  相似文献

This paper addresses the frequency response of coupled bending-torsional beams carrying an arbitrary number of in-span viscoelastic dampers and attached masses. Using the elementary coupled bending-torsion theory, along with appropriate generalized functions to treat the discontinuities of the response variables at the application points of dampers/masses, exact analytical expressions are derived for the frequency response of the beam under harmonically-varying, arbitrarily-placed point/polynomial loads. On this basis, the exact 6 × 6 dynamic stiffness matrix and 6 × 1 load vector of a two-node coupled bending-torsional beam finite element, with any number of in-span dampers/masses and harmonic loads, are obtained in a closed analytical form. Finally, the modal frequency response functions of the beam are built by a complex modal analysis approach, upon deriving pertinent orthogonality conditions for the modes. In this context, the modal impulse response functions are also obtained for time-domain analysis under arbitrary loads.  相似文献

Multi-step Timoshenko beams coupled with rigid bodies on springs can be regarded as a generalized model to investigate the dynamic characteristics of many structures and mechanical systems in engineering. This paper presents a novel transfer matrix method for the free and forced vibration analyses of the hybrid system. It is modeled as a chain system, where each beam and each rigid body with its supporting spring are dealt with one element, respectively. The transfer equation of each element is deduced based on separation of variables method. The system overall transfer equation is obtained by substituting an element transfer equation into another. Then, the free vibration characteristics are acquired by solving exact homogeneous linear equations. To compute the forced vibration response with modal superposition method, the body dynamic equations and augmented eigenvectors are established, and the orthogonality of augmented eigenvectors is mathematically proved. Without high-order global dynamic equation or approximate spatial discretization, the free and forced vibration analyses of the hybrid system are achieved efficiently and accurately in this study. As an analytical approach, the present method is easy, highly stylized, robust, powerful and general for the complex hybrid systems containing any number of Timoshenko beams and rigid bodies. Four numerical examples are implemented, and the results show that this method is computationally efficient with high precision.  相似文献

A numerical study on the free vibration analysis for laminated conical and cylindrical shell is presented. The analysis is carried out using Love's first approximation thin shell theory and solved using discrete singular convolution (DSC) method. Numerical results in free vibrations of laminated conical and cylindrical shells are presented graphically for different geometric and material parameters. Free vibrations of isotropic cylindrical shells and annular plates are treated as special cases. The effects of circumferential wave number, number of layers on frequencies characteristics are also discussed. The numerical results show that the present method is quite easy to implement, accurate and efficient for the problems considered.  相似文献

The propagation of thermoelastic waves along circumferential direction in homogeneous, isotropic, cylindrical curved solid plates with voids has been investigated in the context of linear generalized theory of thermoelasticity. The plate is subjected to stress free or rigidly fixed, thermally insulated or isothermal boundary conditions. Mathematical modeling of the problem for the considered cylindrical curved plate with voids leads to a system of coupled partial differential equations. The model has been simplified by using the Helmholtz decomposition technique and the resulting equations are solved by using the method of separation of variables. The formal solution obtained by using Bessel’s functions with complex arguments is utilized to derive the secular equations which govern the wave motion in the plate with voids. The longitudinal shear motion and axially symmetric shear vibration modes get decoupled from the rest of the motion in contrast to non-axially symmetric plane strain vibrations. These modes remain unaffected due to thermal variations and presence of voids. In order to illustrate theoretical developments, numerical solutions have been carried out for a stress free, thermally insulated or isothermal magnesium plate and are presented graphically. The obtained results are also compared with those available in the literature.  相似文献

Parametric resonance of a functionally graded (FG) cylindrical thin shell with periodic rotating angular speeds subjected to thermal environment is studied in this paper. Taking account of the temperature-dependent properties of the shell, the dynamic equations of a rotating FG cylindrical thin shell based upon Love's thin shell theory are built by Hamilton's principle. The multiple scales method is utilized to obtain the instability boundaries of the problem with the consideration of time-varying rotating angular speeds. It is shown that only the combination instability regions exist for a rotating FG cylindrical thin shell. Moreover, some numerical examples are employed to systematically analyze the effects of constant rotating angular speed, material heterogeneity and thermal effects on vibration characteristics, instability regions and critical rotating speeds of the shell. Of great interest in the process is the combined effect of constant rotating angular speed and temperature on instability regions.  相似文献

In this article, OPSEM (Orthonormal Polynomial Series Expansion Method) is developed as a new computational approach for the evaluation of thin beams of variable thickness transverse vibration. Capability of the OPSEM in assessing the free vibration frequencies and mode shapes of an Euler–Bernoulli beam with varying thickness is discussed. Multispan continuous beams with various classical boundary conditions are included. Contribution of BOPs (Basic Orthonormal Polynomials) in capturing the beam vibrations is also illustrated in numerical examples to give a quantitative measure of convergence rate. Furthermore, OPSEM is adopted for the forced vibration of a thin beam caused by a moving mass. Dynamics of beams supported by flexible elastic base like free to free beam on elastic foundation are also regarded. Verifications are made via eigenfunction expansion method and GMLSM (Generalized Moving Least Square Method). The very close observed agreement between the results of the two recently mentioned methods and that of OPSEM can be regarded as a guarantee of validity for the newly introduced technique. In comparison with eigenfunction expansion method, the simplicity and handiness of OPSEM in coping with different boundary conditions of the beam can be considered as its benefit for engineering practitioners.  相似文献

Nonlinear vibration analysis of circular cylindrical shells has received considerable attention from researchers for many decades. Analytical approaches developed to solve such problem, even not involved simplifying assumptions, are still far from sufficiency, and an efficient numerical scheme capable of solving the problem is worthy of development. The present article aims at devising a novel numerical solution strategy to describe the nonlinear free and forced vibrations of cylindrical shells. For this purpose, the energy functional of the structure is derived based on the first-order shear deformation theory and the von–Kármán geometric nonlinearity. The governing equations are discretized employing the generalized differential quadrature (GDQ) method and periodic differential operators along axial and circumferential directions, respectively. Then, based on Hamilton's principle and by the use of variational differential quadrature (VDQ) method, the discretized nonlinear governing equations are obtained. Finally, a time periodic discretization is performed and the frequency response of the cylindrical shell with different boundary conditions is determined by applying the pseudo-arc length continuation method. After revealing the efficiency and accuracy of the proposed numerical approach, comprehensive results are presented to study the influences of the model parameters such as thickness-to-radius, length-to-radius ratios and boundary conditions on the nonlinear vibration behavior of the cylindrical shells. The results indicate that variation of fundamental vibrational mode shape significantly affects frequency response curves of cylindrical shells.  相似文献

This paper presents an efficient and accurate differential quadrature (DQ) large amplitude free vibration analysis of laminated composite thin beams on nonlinear elastic foundation. Beams under consideration have elastically restrained against rotation and in-plane immovable edges. Elastic foundation has cubic nonlinearity with shearing layer. We impose the boundary conditions directly into the governing equations in spite of the conventional DQ method and without any extra efforts. A direct iterative method is used to solve the nonlinear eigenvalue system of equations after transforming the governing equations into the frequency domain. The fast rate of convergence of the method is shown and their accuracy is demonstrated by comparing the results with those for limit cases, i.e. beams with classical boundary conditions, available in the literature. Besides, we develop a finite element program to verify the results of the presented DQ approach and to show its high computational efficiency. The effects of different parameters on the ratio of nonlinear to linear natural frequency of beams are studied.  相似文献
