Alternating Direction Finite Volume Element Methods for Three-Dimensional Parabolic Equations

<正>This paper presents alternating direction finite volume element methods for three-dimensional parabolic partial differential equations and gives four computational schemes,one is analogous to Douglas finite difference scheme with second-order splitting error,the other two schemes have third-order splitting error,and the last one is an extended LOD scheme.The L~2 norm and H~1 semi-norm error estimates are obtained for the first scheme and second one,respectively.Finally,two numerical examples are provided to illustrate the efficiency and accuracy of the methods.     

A Finite Difference Scheme for Blow-Up Solutions of Nonlinear Wave Equations

<正>We consider a finite difference scheme for a nonlinear wave equation,whose solutions may lose their smoothness in finite time,i.e.,blow up in finite time.In order to numerically reproduce blow-up solutions,we propose a rule for a time-stepping, which is a variant of what was successfully used in the case of nonlinear parabolic equations.A numerical blow-up time is defined and is proved to converge,under a certain hypothesis,to the real blow-up time as the grid size tends to zero.     

KAM Theory for Partial Differential Equations

In the last years much progress has been achieved in KAM theory concerning bifurcation of quasi-periodic solutions of Hamiltonian or reversible partial differential equations.We provide an overview of the state of the art in this field.

A FRACTIONAL NONLINEAR EVOLUTIONARY DELAY SYSTEM DRIVEN BY A HEMI-VARIATIONAL INEQUALITY IN BANACH SPACES

This article deals with a new fractional nonlinear delay evolution system driven by a hemi-variational inequality in a Banach space.Utilizing the KKM theorem,a result concerned with the upper semicontinuity and measurability of the solution set of a hemivariational inequality is established.By using a fixed point theorem for a condensing setvalued map,the nonemptiness and compactness of the set of mild solutions are also obtained for such a system under mild conditions.Finally,an example is presented to illustrate our main results.     

Local Unstable Entropy and Local Unstable Pressure for Partially Hyperbolic Endomorphisms*

In this paper, local unstable metric entropy, local unstable topological entropy and local unstable pressure for partially hyperbolic endomorphisms are introduced and investigated. Specially, two variational principles concerning relationships among the above mentioned numbers are formulated.     

LIMIT CYCLES FOR A CLASS OF NONPOLYNOMIAL PLANAR VECTOR FIELDS(II)

In this paper, the problem of limit cycles for a class of nonpolynomial planar vector felds is investigated. First, based on Liapunov method theory, we obtain some sufcient conditions for determining the origin as the critical point of such nonpolynomial planar vector felds to be the focus or center. Then, using Dulac criterion, we establish some sufcient conditions for the nonexistence of limit cycles of this nonpolynomial planar vector felds. And then, according to Hopf bifurcation theory, we analyze some sufcient conditions for bifurcating limit cycles from the origin. Finally, by transforming the nonpolynomial planar vector felds into the generalized Li′enard planar vector felds, we discuss the existence, uniqueness and stability of limit cycles for the former and latter planar vector felds. Some examples are also given to illustrate the efectiveness of our theoretical results.     

Nonconforming Finite Element Methods for the Constrained Optimal Control Problems Governed by Nonsmooth Elliptic Equations

In this paper,nonconforming finite element methods(FEMs)are proposed for the constrained optimal control problems(OCPs)governed by the nonsmooth elliptic equations,in which the popular EQr1 ot element is employed to approximate the state and adjoint state,and the piecewise constant element is used to approximate the control.Firstly,the convergence and superconvergence properties for the nonsmooth elliptic equation are obtained by introducing an auxiliary problem.Secondly,the goal-oriented error estimates are obtained for the objective function through establishing the negative norm error estimate.Lastly,the methods are extended to some other well-known nonconforming elements.     

A Direct Method of Moving Planes to Fractional Power SubLaplace Equations on the Heisenberg Group

We give the direct method of moving planes for solutions to the conformally invariant fractional power sub Laplace equation on the Heisenberg group.The method is based on four maximum principles derived here.Then symmetry and nonexistence of positive cylindrical solutions are proved.     

Reflected SPDEs Driven by Fractional Noises

In this paper,we study the stochastic partial differential equation with two reflecting smooth walls h^1 and h^2,driven by a fractional noise,which is fractional in time and white in space.The large deviation principle for the law of the solution to this equation,will be established through developing a classical method.Furthermore,we obtain the H?lder continuity of the solution.     

Approximation on attraction domain of Cohen-Grossberg neural networks

In this paper, approximations of attraction domains of the asymptotically stable equilibrium points of some typical Cohen-Grossberg neural networks are achieved. Most Cohen-Grossberg neural networks are highly nonlinear systems which makes it difficult to approximate their attraction domain. Under some weak assumptions, we are allowed to employ the optimal Lyapunov method to obtain a Lyapunov function for asymptotically stable equilibrium points of a given Cohen-Grossberg neural network. With the help of this Lyapunov function, we approximate the corresponding attraction domain by the iterative expansion approach. Numerical simulations also illustrate that the approximation obtained is really part of the attraction domain.     

Cohen-Grossberg神经网络的全局指数稳定性分析

本文研究了CohenGrossberg神经网络模型的指数稳定性.为避免构造Lyapunov函数的困难,我们采用广义相对Dalquist数方法来分析神经网络的稳定性.借助这一方法,我们不但得到了CohenGrossberg神经网络模型平衡解的存在性、唯一性和全局指数稳定性的新的充分条件,而且给出了神经网络的指数衰减估计.所获结论改进了已有文献的相关结果.     

含混合时滞和脉冲的Cohen-Grossberg神经网络的全局指数稳定性

本文讨论了含混合时滞和脉冲的Cohen-Grossberg神经网络的稳定性.通过应用M矩阵理论和不等式技巧,得到了含混合时滞的Cohen-Grossberg神经网络平衡态的全局指数稳定性的充分条件.相比以前同类文献,本文减弱了部分条件,推广了部分结论,并在文末给出了两个示例.本文结论对于设计和应用神经网络有一定实用价值.     

Discrete analogue of high-order periodic Cohen-Grossberg neural networks with delay

In this paper, new discrete analogue of high-order Cohen-Grossberg neural networks with varying delay is obtained by analysis and approximation techniques. The existence of periodic solution for discrete high-order Cohen-Grossberg neural networks with varying delay is studied by continuation theorem of coincidence degree theory, and sufficient condition is given to guarantee global exponential stability of periodic solution. Finally, an example is given to show the effectiveness of the results in this paper.     

Robust passivity analysis of fuzzy Cohen-Grossberg BAM neural networks with time-varying delays

This paper is concerned with the problem of passivity analysis for a class of Cohen-Grossberg fuzzy bidirectional associative memory (BAM) neural networks with time varying delay. By employing the delay fractioning technique and linear matrix inequality optimization approach, delay dependent passivity criteria are established that guarantees the passivity of fuzzy Cohen-Grossberg BAM neural networks with uncertainties. The passivity condition is expressed in terms of LMIs, which can be easily solved by various convex optimization algorithms. Finally, a numerical example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed result.

对具有分布时滞的非自治Cohen-Grossberg神经网络进行了研究.通过构造适当的Lyapunov函数,利用不等式分析方法,引入多参数,得到了一系列解的一致有界性且最终有界性和全局指数稳定性的判别准则.     

Exponential stability analysis of Cohen-Grossberg neural networks with time-varying delays

In this paper, we study Cohen-Grossberg neural networks (CGNN) with time-varying delay. Based on Halanay inequality and continuation theorem of the coincidence degree, we obtain some sufficient conditions ensuring the existence, uniqueness, and global exponential stability of periodic solution. Our results complement previously known results.

本文主要考虑了一类带脉冲的Cohen—Grossberg时滞神经网络模型的全局指数稳定性，通过构造Liapunov函数，应用M矩阵理论和一些不等式的技巧，给出了模型的平凡解全局指数稳定的充分条件。     

Periodic solution to BAM-type Cohen-Grossberg neural network with time-varying delays

By using the continuation theorem of Mawhin’s coincidence degree theory and the Liapunov func tional method, some sufficient conditions are obtained to ensure the existence, uniqueness and the global exponential stability of the periodic solution to the BAM-type Cohen-Grossberg neural networks involving timevarying delays.
