Two novel conjugated polymers with alternating main chain structures of zinc porphyrin-terthiophene (P-PTT) and zinc porphyrin-oligothiophene (P-POT) were synthesized by Stille reaction. The effect of different lengths of thiophene chains on the thermal, optical, electrochemical, and photovoltaic properties of the two copolymers were investigated in detail. P-PTT exhibited higher onset decomposition temperature (392 °C) and glass-transition temperature (152 °C) than those of P-POT. The introduction of thiophene units in the meso-aryl positions of porphyrin resulted in the red shift and broader absorption spectrum compared with zinc porphyrin (PZn) monomer both in chloroform solutions and on thin solid films. The electrochemical properties indicated that the energy levels of the polymers were suitable for efficient charge transfer and separation at the interface between the polymer donor and PCBM acceptor. The bulk heterojunction solar cells based on P-PTT and P-POT showed power conversion efficiencies up to 0.32% and 0.18%, respectively.  相似文献

The targeted hydrolysis of the 9,10-dihydro-9,10-diboraanthracene adduct (Me(2)S)HB(C(6)H(4))(2)BH(SMe(2)) (1) with 0.5 equiv of H(2)O leads to formation of the borinic acid anhydride [(Me(2)S)HB(C(6)H(4))(2)B](2)O (2) and thereby provides access to the field of unsymmetrically substituted 9,10-dihydro-9,10-diboraanthracenes. Compound 2 reacts with tBuC≡CH to give the corresponding vinyl derivative in an essentially quantitative conversion. Subsequent cleavage of the B-O-B bridge by LiAlH(4) with formation of hydridoborate functionalities is possible but is accompanied by partial B-C(vinyl) bond degradation. This situation changes when the related mesityl derivative [MesB(C(6)H(4))(2)B](2)O (7) is employed, which can be synthesized from BrB(C(6)H(4))(2)BBr (6) by treatment with 1 equiv of MesMgBr and subsequent hydrolysis. The reaction of 7 with LiAlH(4) in tetrahydrofuran (THF) furnishes Li[MesB(C(6)H(4))(2)BH(2)] (8); hydride elimination with Me(3)SiCl leads to formation of the THF adduct MesB(C(6)H(4))(2)BH(THF) (9·THF). Alternatively, 7 can be transformed into the bromoborane MesB(C(6)H(4))(2)BBr (10) by treatment with BBr(3). A Br/H-exchange reaction between 10 and Et(3)SiH yields the donor-free borane MesB(C(6)H(4))(2)BH (9), which forms B-H-B bridged dimers (9)(2) in the solid state. The vinyl borane MesB(C(6)H(4))(2)BC(H)=C(H)Mes (14) is accessible from MesC≡CH and either 9·THF or 9. Compared with the related compound Mes(2)BC(H)=C(H)Mes, the electronic absorption and emission spectra of 14 reveal bathochromic shifts of Δλ(abs)=17 nm and Δλ(em)=74 nm, which can be attributed to the rigid, fully delocalized π framework of the [MesB(C(6)H(4))(2)B] chromophore.  相似文献

Give and take: The introduction of NHC-borane moieties to thiophene-based π?skeletons endows a zwitterionic character, which makes the π?system electron-donating, while the NHC ring acts as an electron-accepting moiety. The NHC-borane-substituted thiophene underwent a clean photoisomerization with a drastic color change, however, the expanded bithiophene derivatives were inert to this photoreaction, showed low oxidation potentials, and formed a slipped π-stacked array in the crystal.  相似文献

A series of novel azo compounds with extended π-conjugated systems were prepared by azo coupling reaction compounds trans-2-(4′-aminostyryl)-thiophene, 1-(4-aminophenyl)-4-phenyl-1,3-butadiene and 4-amino-4′-methoxystilbene with some phenols. The compounds were evaluated for their cytotoxicity against breast cancer adenocarcinoma (MCF-7), cervix adenocarcinoma (HeLa) and human embryonic kidney (HEK 293) cell lines using the MTT assay. The results showed all derivatives had more toxic effects than tamoxifen. Of all the compounds tested, the azo product obtained from coupling trans-2-(4′-Aminostyryl)-thiophene with 2-naphthol (compound 5b) exhibited the potent in vitro antiproliferative activity with IC50 27 ± 1 and 18 ± 0 µg/mL against MCF-7 and HeLa cell lines, respectively, while it was devoid of any cytotoxicity against normal HEK 293 cells even at 200 µg/mL.  相似文献

π-Conjugated polymers (CPs) and oligomers (COs) bearing hexaphenylbenzene (HPB) and tetraphenyl ethene (TPE) units were synthesized by Sonogashira and Suzuki–Miyaura coupling reactions. The optical properties of the CPs and COs were investigated by UV–vis, photoluminescence (PL), and fluorescence lifetime (τ) measurements. The PL intensities of the solutions of the CPs and COs synthesized by Sonogashira coupling were reduced upon addition of poor solvent like water, which is attributed to aggregation-caused quenching. In contrast, the CP and COs bearing the TPE unit synthesized by Suzuki–Miyaura coupling exhibited aggregation-induced emission enhancement in solution. This difference in fluorescence behavior is discussed herein in terms of the molecular sizes, conformations in solution, and τ values of the CPs and COs.  相似文献

A novel sulfonated diamine monomer,1,2-dihydro-2-(3-sulfonic-4-aminophenyl)-4-[4-(4-aminophenoxy)-phenyl]phthalazin- 1-one(S-DHPZDA),was successfully synthesized by direct sulfonation of diamine 1,2-dihydro-2-(4-aminophenyl)-4-[4-(4- aminophenoxy)-phenyl]-phthalazin-1-one(DHPZDA).A series of sulfonated polyimides(SPIs),which can be used as the material of the proton exchange membrane(PEM)for the proton exchange membrane fuel cell(PEMFC),were prepared from 1,4,5,8- naphthalenetetracarboxylic dianhydride(NTDA),S-DHPZDA,and nonsulfonated diamines DHPZDA.The structure of the monomer and polymers were characterized by FT-IR and~1H NMR.The solubility of the S-DHPZDA-based SPIs has been improved due to the induction of the phthalazione moiety.The SPIs membranes have high thermo-stability,predominant swelling resistance with high ion exchange capacity.  相似文献

Two novel π-conjugated cyanostilbene derivatives,FLU-CNPH and TPE-CNPH,were designed and synthesized by introducing the strong electron donor 1,4-dihydropyrro[3,2-b]indole and AIE electron donor tetraphenylethylene(TPE)to the(3',5'-bis(trifluoromethyl)-biphenyl-4-yl)-acetonitrile,respectively.Both of them were fully characterized and their AIE behaviors were investigated using fluorescence spectroscopy and FE-SEM images.Their optimized structures and frontier molecular orbitals were calculated with the DFT by using Materials Studio 7.0 software to study the relationship between the structure and properties.  相似文献

The pioneering works due to Bader and co-workers have generated widespread interest in the study of the topography of molecular scalar fields, the first step of which is the identification and characterization of the corresponding critical points (CPs). The topography of a molecular system becomes successively richer in going from the bare nuclear potential (BNP) to the molecular electrostatic potential (MESP) through the molecular electron density (MED). The present work clearly demonstrates, through the study of some π-conjugated test molecules as well as molecular clusters, that the CPs could be economically located by following this path within ab initio level theory. Further, the topography mapping of large molecules, especially at a higher level of theory, is known to be a demanding task. However, it is rendered possible by following the above sequential mapping assisted by a divide-and-conquer-type method termed as the molecular tailoring approach (MTA). This is demonstrated with the topography mapping of β-carotene and benzene nonamer at MP2 and a (H(2)O)(32) cluster at the HF level of theory, which are rather challenging problems with contemporary off-the-shelf computer hardware.  相似文献

Recent studies on two types of π-conjugated metallacylce polymers are reviewed. Reaction of CpCo(PPh3)2 with conjugated diacetylenes afford poly(arylene cobaltacyclopentadienylene) and that of CpRuBr(cod) does poly(arylene ruthenacyclopentrienylene)s in ambient conditions. Regioselectivity of the former metallacycling reacion is not perfect (at most 80% of the 2,5-diaryl selectivity) but that of the latter is satisfactory (∼100% of the 2,5-diaryl selectivity) for the formation of π-conjugated structure. Electrochemical oxidation of the cobaltacyclopentadiene polymer and reduction of the ruthenacycle polymer occur facilely and quasi-reversibly by the contribution of metal d-orbitals. Physical properties in undoped (neutral) and doped (charged) sates show the behavior of electronic band structure derived from the organic π-conjugated main chain strongly coupled with the metal d-orbitals. This affords, for example, photoconductivity in the neutral form of the cobaltacylopentadiene polymer and ferromagnetic interaction in the reduced form of the ruthenacyclopentatriene polymer.  相似文献

To synthesize sulfur-containing π-conjugated polymers, reaction conditions for rhodium-catalyzed hydrothiolation of terminal alkynes with arenethiols are optimized in detail. Under the optimized conditions, rhodium-catalyzed hydrothiolation of terminal alkynes proceeds regio- and stereoselectively to afford the corresponding vinyl sulfides via an anti-Markovnikov and syn-addition process. Then, the rhodium-catalyzed hydrothiolation is applied to polymerization of 2,5-diethynylthiophene with benzene-1,4-dithiol, which successfully provides sulfur-containing π-conjugated polymers with excellent regio- and stereoselectivities.  相似文献

Despite numerous interesting efforts along decades to improve the accuracy of density functionals with broad applicability, such as B3LYP, there are still large sets of molecular systems where improvements are badly needed. We select π-conjugated systems as an example of the latter due to the subtle interplay between some physical effects affecting possibly most of the calculations: self-interaction or delocalization error, medium-range correlation signatures, dispersive-like weak interactions, and static correlation effects. We further assess a recently proposed modification of the B2-PLYP double-hybrid functional, called B2π-PLYP, that is expected to yield substantial progress for this kind of systems. Generally speaking, when compared with other more popular and older density functionals, double hybrids behave particularly accurate for π-conjugated systems without suffering the large errors that are common in former yet conventional methods.  相似文献

A novel multifunctional epoxy resin was synthesized by polyphenol and epichlorohydrin.The structure and molecular weight ofthe multifunctional epoxy were characterized by FTIR and ESI-MS.DSC and DMTA were used to investigate the thermal propertyof multifunctional epoxy cured by DDS.The thermal resistance of the synthesized multifunctional epoxy was much better than astandard diglycidyl ether of bisphenol-A epoxy.  相似文献

Thiophene-based D-A-D π-conjugated systems containing triphenylamine end groups connected to a 1,1,4,4-tetracyanobuta-1,3-diene acceptor by oligothiophene chains of variable length have been synthesized. These compounds show interesting light-harvesting properties and low-lying HOMO levels. Preliminary results on bilayer heterojunction solar cells with C(60) as acceptor show power conversion efficiency higher than 1.0%.  相似文献

1,5- and 1,8-bis(bifluorenyl)anthracene were synthesized and converted to their corresponding bis(bifluorenyl)triptycenes and bis(bifluorenyl)-9,10-dihydroanthracenes. Analysis of their optical properties shows no feature of extended conjugation in the triptycene pair. The electronic spectra of the triptycene and dihydroanthracene pairs are in fact superimposable. There is definite evidence that triptycene displays zero homoconjugation effect.  相似文献

In this article we describe the synthesis of an electron donor-acceptor dyad containing a [6,6]diphenylmethanofullerene moiety as the electron acceptor and a dialkylamino-substituted oligo-p-phenylenevinylene as the electron donor. The synthesis of this material has been successfully accomplished by an esterification reaction between a [6,6]diphenylmethanofullerene functionalized with a carboxylic acid and the corresponding oligomer substituted with a benzyl alcohol. Cyclic voltammetry and absorption spectroscopy show that both electroactive units preserve their nature in the ground state, whereas preliminary photophysical investigations show a strong fluorescence quenching.  相似文献

Reliable reactions for the synthesis of two interesting anthracenetetrones have been identified and optimized. Both syntheses start from dihydroxy-9,10-anthraquinones and were selected for maximized efficiency and minimized workload. Work-up of all reactions can be achieved without column chromatography, which facilitates further scale-up. So far, both target compounds are considerably underexplored despite their promising molecular structure for use in devices and in organic synthesis, especially as building blocks for π-conjugated compounds. In the work discussed in this paper, novel β-amino acid derivatives were prepared by Michael addition between 3-substituted-2-propenic acid and hydrazine hydrate. The optimum reaction conditions were determined by analyzing the effects of the ratio of the starting materials, temperature, and reaction time. The conclusions were: reaction temperature 80 °C, reaction time 8 h, n (3-substituted-2-propenic acid)/n (hydrazine hydrate) = 1:15. Products were characterized by measurement of melting point, elemental analysis, and IR and 1H NMR spectroscopy.  相似文献
