The mechanisms of erosion of metal surfaces under the action of submicrosecond (10−9−10−6 s) ion beams in the power density range of P = 106−109 W/cm2 with a particle energy of 1–2000 keV are considered. It is shown that the collective processes associated with the radiation heating of the surface are of great importance. A model for the erosion is proposed. In accordance with this model, the flow of atoms of the target leaving the surface being irradiated consists of two independent components caused by collisional sputtering and evaporation, respectively. The influence of the irradiation parameters on the erosion coefficient and the ratio between the sputtering and evaporation factors is analyzed.  相似文献

This work presents the results of a low-energy nitrogen ion implantation of AISI 304 type stainless steel (SS) at a moderate temperature of about 500°C. The nitrogen ions are extracted from a Kauffman-type ion source at an energy of 30 keV, and ion current density of 100 μA cm−2. Nitrogen ion concentration of 6 × 1017, 8 × 1017 and 1018 ions cm−2, were selected for our study. The X-ray diffraction results show the formation of CrN polycrystalline phase after nitrogen bombardment and a change of crystallinity due to the change in nitrogen ion concentration. The secondary ion mass spectrometry (SIMS) results show the formation of CrN phases too. Corrosion test has shown that corrosion resistance is enhanced by increasing nitrogen ion concentration.   相似文献

A magnetized, low-β plasma in pure toroidal configuration is formed and extensively studied with ion mass as control parameter. Xenon, krypton and argon plasmas are formed at a fixed toroidal magnetic field of 0.024 T, with a peak density of ∼1011 cm−3, ∼4 × 1010 cm −3 and ∼2 × 1010 cm −3 respectively. The experimental investigation of time-averaged plasma parameter reveals that their profiles remain insensitive to ion mass and suggests that saturated slab equilibrium is obtained. Low-frequency (LF) coherent fluctuations (ω < ω ci) are observed and identified as flute modes. Here ω ci represents ion cyclotron frequency. Our results indicate that these modes get reduced with ion mass. The frequency of the fluctuating mode decreases with increase in the ion mass. Further, an attempt has been made to discuss the theory of flute modes to understand the relevance of some of our experimental observations.  相似文献

The aerosol deposition of detonation nanodiamonds (DNDs) on a silicon substrate is comprehensively studied, and the possibility of subsequent growth of nanocrystalline diamond films and isolated particles on substrates coated with DNDs is demonstrated. It is shown that a change in the deposition time and the weight concentration of DNDs in a suspension in the range 0.001–1% results in a change in the shape of DND agglomerates and their number per unit substrate surface area N s from 108 to 1011 cm−2. Submicron isolated diamond particles are grown on a substrate coated with DND agglomerates at N s ≈ 108 cm−2 using microwave plasma-enhanced chemical vapor deposition. At N s ≈ 1010 cm−2, thin (∼100 nm) nanodiamond films with a root-mean-square surface roughness less than 15 nm are grown.  相似文献

Present p-type ZnO films tend to exhibit high resistivity and low carrier concentration, and they revert to their natural n-type state within days after deposition. One approach to grow higher quality p-type ZnO is by codoping the ZnO during growth. This article describes recent results from the growth and characterization of Zr–N codoped p-type ZnO thin films by pulsed laser deposition (PLD) on (0001) sapphire substrates. For this work, both N-doped and Zr–N codoped p-type ZnO films were grown for comparison purposes at substrate temperatures ranging between 400 to 700 °C and N2O background pressures between 10−5 to 10−2 Torr. The carrier type and conduction were found to be very sensitive to substrate temperature and N2O deposition pressure. P-type conduction was observed for films grown at pressures between 10−3 to 10−2 Torr. The Zr–N codoped ZnO films grown at 550 °C in 1×10−3 Torr of N2O show p-type conduction behavior with a very low resistivity of 0.89 Ω-cm, a carrier concentration of 5.0×1018 cm−3, and a Hall mobility of 1.4 cm2 V−1 s−1. The structure, morphology and optical properties were also evaluated for both N-doped and Zr–N codoped ZnO films.  相似文献

A Q-switched Nd: YAG laser with a pulse duration of 20 ns was used to investigate effects of laser annealing in gallium implanted silicon. Rutherford backscattering and Hall-effect measurements were performed to evaluate the annealed layer. Differential Hall-effect measurements were carried out to obtain carrier concentration profiles after annealing. It was found that a maximum sheet carrier concentration of 8×1015 cm−2 can be obtained for a gallium implantation of 1016 cm−2 by laser annealing with an energy density of more than 1.0 J cm−2. Although the peak carrier concentration was found to be 8.0×1020 cm−3, the annealed layer showed polycrystalline structures even after annealing with an energy density up to 4J cm−2. The annealing took place in the solid phase in this energy density range.  相似文献

We have recorded and investigated the ESR spectrum of vanadium-doped α-RbTiOPO4 single crystals in the temperature interval 77–300 K. Two types of structurally distinct centers, V1 and V2, with a 4:1 ratio of the peak intensities were observed. The angular dependences of the resonance magnetic fields are described by a spin Hamiltonian corresponding to axial symmetry with the parameters g ∥1=1.9305, g ⊥1=1.9565, A ∥1=−168.2×10−4cm−1, and A ⊥1=−54.3×10−4cm−1 for V1 centers and g ∥2=1.9340, g ⊥2=1.9523, A ∥2=−169.0×10−4cm−1, and A ⊥2=−55.2×10−4cm−1 for V2 centers. A model of a paramagnetic center is proposed: The vanadium ions replace titanium ions in two structurally distinct positions Ti1 and Ti2 (V1 and V2 centers, respectively). The possibility that a VO2+ ion forms when α-RbTiOPO4 crystals and crystals of the KTP group (KTiOPO4, NaTiOPO4, α-and β-LiTiOPO4), studied earlier, are doped with vanadium is discussed. Fiz. Tverd. A new method for the determination of trace mercury by solid substrate-room temperature phosphorimetry (SS-RTP) quenching method has been established. In glycine-HCl buffer solution, xylenol orange (XO) can react with Sn4+ to form the complex [Sn(XO)6]4+. [Sn(XO)6]4+ can interact with Fin (fluorescein anion) to form the ion associate [Sn(XO)6]4+·[(Fin)4], which can emit strong and stable room temperature phosphorescence (RTP) on polyamide membrane (PAM). Hg2+ can catalyze H2O2 oxidizing the ion association complex [Sn(XO)6]4+·[(Fin)4], which causes the RTP to quench. The ΔIp value is directly proportional to the concentration of Hg2+ in the range of 0.016–1.6 fg spot−1 (corresponding concentration: 0.040–4.0 pg ml−1, 0.40 μl spot−1), and the regression equation of working cure is ΔIp=10.03+83.15 m Hg2+ (fg spot−1), (r=0.9987, n=6) and the detection limit (LD) is 3.6 ag spot−1(corresponding concentration: 9.0×10–15 g ml−1, the sample volume: 0.4 μl). This simple, rapid, accurate method is of high selectivity and good repeatability, and it has been successfully applied to the determination of trace mercury in real samples. The reaction mechanism for catalyzing H2O2 oxidizing the ion association complex ([Sn(XO)6]4+·[(Fin)4]) SS-RTP quenching method to determine trace mercury is also discussed.  相似文献

A Tm, Mg co-doped LiTaO3 crystal has been grown by Czochralski method. Room temperature polarized absorption spectra and fluorescence spectrum of the Tm, Mg:LiTaO3 crystal were measured and analyzed. The maximum absorption cross-section is 6.0791 × 10−20 cm2 at around 790 nm with full width at half maximum of 5 nm. The emission cross-section of 3 F 4 manifold was 2.2 × 10−20 cm2. The spectroscopic parameters of Tm3+ ion were calculated by applying the Judd-Ofelt approach, and the intensity parameters Ω2, Ω4, and Ω6 were obtained to be 7.71 × 10−20, 1.09 × 10−20, and 1.16 × 10−20 cm2, respectively. The branching ratios and radiative lifetimes were also presented and the radiative lifetime of Tm3+ 3 F 43 H 6 transition is 968.3 μs. The results were also analyzed and compared with other Tm3+ doped hosts.  相似文献

Up to now a great deal of investigations in ion beam mixing of iron-aluminium layers are known. However, the easier way to produce such layers by direct implantation of aluminium ions in iron is less studied. In the present work aluminium implanted iron layers are studied. Iron samples were implanted with aluminium ions at 50, 100, and 200 keV, respectively, with doses between 5×1016 and 5×1017 cm−2. Independent of energy, at doses up to 2×1017 cm−2, besides alpha iron further magnetic fractions with a Fe3Al-like structure are formed while at a dose of 5×1017 cm−2 amorphous nonmagnetic components are formed.  相似文献

ESR investigations on exchange coupled pairs of Cu ions in single crystals of Cu(dtc)2, isomorphously diluted with the corresponding diamagnetic zinc salt, are reported. The spin Hamiltonian parameters for the coupled species (S=1) are:g =2.1025,g +=2.031,A=75.1×10−4 cm−1,B=14.8×10−4,D=276.0×10−4 cm−1 andE=46.7×10−4 cm−1. While theg andA tensors show tetragonal symmetry, the zeor-field splitting tensor is rhombic and has principal axes different from those of theg andA tensors. Intensity measurements made down to 4.2 K indicate that the exchange is ferromagnetic with |FFF| ∼ 10 cm−1. Direct dipole-dipole interaction appears to be the major contribution to the zero-field splitting. A calculation on the distributed point dipole model shows that dipolar interaction is considerably modified by the high covalency of the Cu-S bond and accounts for the rhombic nature of the tensor. The possible exchange mechanisms in Cu(dtc)2—direct exchange and superexchange through the bridging sulphurs—are discussed.  相似文献

A simple and sensitive spectrofluorimetric method for determination of trace amount of doxycycline hydrochloride (DC) in pharmaceutical tablets and serum samples was developed. In ammonia buffer solution of pH 8.9 the doxycycline hydrochloride can remarkably enhance the luminescence intensity of the Sm3+ ion in Sm3+- DC complex at λex = 400 nm. The produced luminescence intensity of Sm3+- DC complex in DMSO is in proportion to the concentration of DC and used as optical sensor for its determination. The dynamic range for the determination of DC is 1 × 10−8 – 5 × 10−6 mol L−1 and in case of quantum yield calculations is 7 × 10−9 – 5 × 10−6 mol L−1 with detection limit of 6.5 × 10−10 mol L−1. The enhancement mechanism of the luminescence intensity in the Sm3+- DC system has been also discussed. A comparison with other spectrofluorimetric methods for tetracycline derivatives in which Eu3+ ion is used instead of Sm3+ ion is also studied.  相似文献

A novel, simple, sensitive and selective spectrofluorimetric method was developed for the determination of trace amounts of chlorzoxazone and Ibuprofen in pharmaceutical tablets using optical sensor Eu-Tetracycline HCl doped in sol–gel matrix. The chlorzoxazone or Ibuprofen can remarkably enhance the luminescence intensity of Eu-Tetracycline HCl complex doped in a sol–gel matrix in dimethylformamide (DMF) at pH 9.7 and 6.3, respectively, λex = 400 nm. The enhancing of luminescence intensity peak of Eu-Tetracycline HCl complex at 617 nm is proportional to the concentration of chlorzoxazone or Ibuprofen a result that suggested profitable application as a simple optical sensor for chlorzoxazone or Ibuprofen assessment. The dynamic ranges found for the determination of chlorzoxazone and Ibuprofen concentration are 5 × 10−9–1 × 10−4 and 1 × 10−8–7 × 10−5 mol L−1, and the limit of detection (LOD) and quantitation limit of detection (LOQ) are 3.1 × 10−10 , 9.6 × 10−10 and 5.6 × 10−10, 1.7 × 10−9 mol L−1, respectively.  相似文献

It is found that silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) can further enhance the fluorescence intensity of curcumin (CU) - cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) – nucleic acids and improve its anti-photobleaching activity. Under optimum conditions, the enhanced fluorescence intensity is proportion to the concentration of nucleic acids in the range of 2.0 × 10−8–1.0 × 10−6 g mL−1 for fish sperm DNA (fsDNA), 2.0 × 10−8–1.0 × 10−6 g mL−1 for calf thymus DNA (ctDNA), 1.0 × 10−8–1.0 × 10−6 g mL−1 for yeast RNA (yRNA), and their detection limits (S/N = 3) are 8.0 ng mL−1, 10.5 ng mL−1 and 5.8 ng mL−1, respectively. This method is used for determining the concentration of DNA in actual sample with satisfactory results. The interaction mechanism is also studied.  相似文献

Structure in the Raman scattering spectra of near-surface n-GaAs layers (n=2×1018 cm−3) implanted with 100 keV B+ ions in the dose range 3.1×1011–1.2×1014 cm−2 is investigated. The qualitative and quantitative data on the carrier density and mobility and on the degree of amorphization of the crystal lattice and the parameters of the nanocrystalline phase as a result of ion implantation are obtained using a method proposed for analyzing room-temperature Raman spectra. The orientational dependences of the EPR spectra of Fe3+-doped LiCaAlF6 single crystals (space group P31c, Z=2), grown at the Laboratory of Magnetic Radio Spectroscopy at Kazan’ State University, have been investigated in detail. The spectrum is described by a trigonal spin Hamiltonian with the following parameters: B 20=40.072×10−4 cm−1, B 40=−5.799×10−4 cm−1, B 43=−4.281×10−4 cm−1, A s=24.33±1, A p=6.13±1, g =g =2.00217±0.0003. A theoretical calculation of the hyperfine structure parameters shows that they are described quite well when allowance is made for the overlapping of the wave functions of the paramagnetic center and the ligands (F). Ionic radii and compressibilities have been calculated for a number of monovalent and divalent ions and radicals on the basis of the compressible ion theory. In this theory, the compression energy of an ion is given as a two-parameter function of its radius,A exp (−r/p), the radius and compressibility of the ion being monotonically decreasing functions of the compressing force acting on it. Choosing a standard force reflecting the average environment in the alkali halides, univalent radii and compressibilities have been calculated. This is the first theory to estimate ionic compressibilities. The values show systematic trends among groups of related ions. Anions are found to be significantly more compressible than cations (e.g., the compressibilities of Ca++, K+, Cl and S− − are respectively 0.8530, 1.342, 2.952 and 5.150 × 10−12 cm2/ dyne). Multivalent or ‘crystal’ radii and compressibilities have also been calculated by scaling the standard force by the square of the ionic charge. The calculated ionic radii are closer to experimental values than the classical empirical radii.  相似文献

The interactions of norfloxacin (NFA), DNA, and Cu2+ are studied by fluorescence and UV-spectra method. According to the experimental results, it can be concluded that NFA can form a steady binary complex with Cu2+. There is a linear relationship between the Fluorescence intensity of the norfloxacin–Cu2+–DNA system and the concentration of DNA. And when the concentration of the NFA is 1.95×10−5 mol L−1, they possess a good linearity in the concentration of DNA ranged from 4.7×10−6 to 2.8×10−5 mol L−1.It is a good method due to the high sensitivity and selectivity.  相似文献

A new, simple and accurate spectrofluorimetric method for the determination of metoclopramide hydrochloride was developed. The metoclopramide hydrochloride can remarkably enhance the luminescence intensity of the Tb3+ ion doped in PMMA matrix at λex = 360 nm in methanol at pH 6.9. The intensity of the emission band at 545 nm of Tb3+ ion doped in PMMA matrix is increased due to the energy transfer from metoclopramide hydrochloride to Tb3+ in the excited stated. The effect of different parameters, e.g., pH, temperature, Tb3+ concentration, foreign ions that control the fluorescence intensity of the produced ion associate was critically investigated. The calibration curve of the emission intensity at 545 nm shows linear response of metoclopramide over a concentration range of 5 × 10−5–5.0 × 10−8 M with detection limit of 8.7 × 10−10 M. The method was used successfully for the determination of metoclopramide in pharmaceutical preparations and human serum. The average recovery of 99.48% with standard deviation of 0.32% and 96.98% with standard deviation of 0.4%, of pharmaceutical preparations and human serum respectively, were obtained which compared will with the results obtained from standard LC method of average recovery 99.04% and standard deviation of 0.6% and average recovery of 98.19% with standard deviation of 0.6% of pharmaceutical preparations and human serum, respectively.  相似文献
