We construct types in the sense of Bushnell and Kutzko for principal series representations of split connected reductive p-adic groups (with mild restrictions on the residual characteristic) and describe the resulting Hecke algebras. We discuss their interpretation as Iwahori Hecke algebras of related reductive groups (in general disconnected). In addition, we describe how (parabolic) induction and (Jacquet) restriction functors and questions about square-integrability can be transferred to this context.  相似文献

We study a class of representations called ‘calibrated representations’ of the rational and trigonometric double affine Hecke algebras of type GLn. We give a realization of calibrated irreducible modules as spaces of coinvariants constructed from integrable modules over the affine Lie algebra gl?m. We also give a character formula of these irreducible modules in terms of a generalization of Kostka polynomials. These results are conjectured by Arakawa, Suzuki and Tsuchiya based on the conformal field theory. The proofs using recent results on the representation theory of the double affine Hecke algebras will be presented in the forthcoming papers. To cite this article: T. Suzuki, C. R. Acad. Sci. This paper has two main purposes. Firstly, we generalise Ram’s combinatorial construction of calibrated representations of the affine Hecke algebra to the multi-parameter case (including the non-reduced BC n case). We then derive the Plancherel formulae for all rank 1 and rank 2 affine Hecke algebras, using our calibrated representations to construct all representations involved.  相似文献

We define alternating cyclotomic Hecke algebras in higher levels as subalgebras of cyclotomic Hecke algebras under an analogue of Goldman’s hash involution. We compute the rank of these algebras and construct a full set of irreducible representations in the semisimple case, generalising Mitsuhashi’s results Mitsuhashi (J. Alg. 240 535–558 2001, J. Alg. 264 231–250 2003).  相似文献

In this paper, we first introduce a notion of semisimple system with parameters, then we establish Lusztig's isomorphism theorem for any cellular semisimple system with parameters. As an application, we obtain Lusztig's isomorphism theorem for Ariki-Koike algebras, cyclotomic q-Schur algebras and Birman-Murakami-Wenzl algebras. Second, using the results for certain Ariki-Koike algebras, we prove an analogue of Lusztig's isomorphism theorem for the cyclotomic Hecke algebras of type G(p,p,n) (which are not known to be cellular in general). These generalize earlier results of [G. Lusztig, On a theorem of Benson and Curtis, J. Algebra 71 (1981) 490-498.] on such isomorphisms for Iwahori-Hecke algebras associated to finite Weyl groups.  相似文献

Graham and Lehrer have defined cellular algebras and developed a theory that allows in particular to classify simple representations of finite dimensional cellular algebras. Many classes of finite dimensional algebras, including various Hecke algebras and diagram algebras, have been shown to be cellular, and the theory due to Graham and Lehrer successfully has been applied to these algebras. We will extend the framework of cellular algebras to algebras that need not be finite dimensional over a field. Affine Hecke algebras of type A and infinite dimensional diagram algebras like the affine Temperley–Lieb algebras are shown to be examples of our definition. The isomorphism classes of simple representations of affine cellular algebras are shown to be parameterised by the complement of finitely many subvarieties in a finite disjoint union of affine varieties. In this way, representation theory of non-commutative algebras is linked with commutative algebra. Moreover, conditions on the cell chain are identified that force the algebra to have finite global cohomological dimension and its derived category to admit a stratification; these conditions are shown to be satisfied for the affine Hecke algebra of type A if the quantum parameter is not a root of the Poincaré polynomial.  相似文献

In this article we study the representations of general linear groups which arise from their action on flag spaces. These representations can be decomposed into irreducibles by proving that the associated Hecke algebra is cellular. We give a geometric interpretation of a cellular basis of such Hecke algebras which was introduced by Murphy in the case of finite fields. We apply these results to decompose representations which arise from the space of submodules of a free module over principal ideal local rings of length two with a finite residue field.  相似文献

We give a dual presentation, in the sense of the dual presentation of Artin groups, of the Temperley–Lieb algebra of type B. In particular, we obtain a basis of this algebra by considering the homomorphic images of the simple elements of the dual monoid. This algebra is the largest quotient of the Hecke algebra whose irreducible representations are parametrized by pairs of Young diagrams with at most one column in each component. Many of the striking similarities which occur for the adjoint representation of groups in the exceptional series (cf. [1–3]) also occur for certain representations of specific reductive subgroups. The tensor algebras on these representations are easier to describe (cf. [4,5,7]), and may offer clues to the original situation. The subgroups which occur form a Magic Triangle, which extends Freudenthal's Magic Square of Lie algebras. We describe these groups from the perspective of dual pairs, and their representations from the action of the dual pair on an exceptional Lie algebra. To cite this article: P. Deligne, B.H. Gross, C. This paper aims at developing a “local-global” approach for various types of finite dimensional algebras, especially those related to Hecke algebras. The eventual intention is to apply the methods and applications developed here to the cross-characteristic representation theory of finite groups of Lie type. We first review the notions of quasi-hereditary and stratified algebras over a Noetherian commutative ring. We prove that many global properties of these algebras hold if and only if they hold locally at every prime ideal. When the commutative ring is sufficiently good, it is often sufficient to check just the prime ideals of height at most one. These methods are applied to construct certain generalized q-Schur algebras, proving they are often quasi-hereditary (the “good” prime case) but always stratified. Finally, these results are used to prove a triangular decomposition matrix theorem for the modular representations of Hecke algebras at good primes. In the bad prime case, the generalized q-Schur algebras are at least stratified, and a block triangular analogue of the good prime case is proved, where the blocks correspond to Kazhdan-Lusztig cells.  相似文献

In this paper, we will fully describe the irreducible representations of the crystallographic rank two affine Hecke algebras using algebraic and combinatorial methods, for all possible values of q. The focus is on the case when q is a root of unity of small order.  相似文献

In this paper we study homological properties of modules over an affine Hecke algebra H. In particular we prove a comparison result for higher extensions of tempered modules when passing to the Schwartz algebra S, a certain topological completion of the affine Hecke algebra. The proof is self-contained and based on a direct construction of a bounded contraction of certain standard resolutions of H-modules.This construction applies for all positive parameters of the affine Hecke algebra. This is an important feature, since it is an ingredient to analyse how the irreducible discrete series representations of H arise in generic families over the parameter space of H. For irreducible non-simply laced affine Hecke algebras this will enable us to give a complete classification of the discrete series characters, for all positive parameters (we will report on this application in a separate article).  相似文献

Let R be a commutative noetherian domain. The q-Brauer algebras over R are shown to be cellular algebras in the sense of Graham and Lehrer. In particular, they are iterated inflations of Hecke algebras of type A. When R is a field of arbitrary characteristic, we determine for which parameters the q-Brauer algebras are quasi-hereditary. Then, using the general theory of cellular algebras we parametrize all irreducible representations of q-Brauer algebras.  相似文献

The purpose of this paper is to calculate the decomposition numbers for Hecke algebras of typeF 4 (andC 3) with unequal parameters. The problem is reduced to specifying decomposition maps of the generic Hecke algebras. The concept of Kazhdan-Lusztig polynomials and left cells serves to determine their irreducible representations. We also prove a result about the minimal ring over which the irreducible representations of the generic algebras can be realized.

This paper describes the module categories for a family of generic Hecke algebras, called Yokonuma-type Hecke algebras. Yokonuma-type Hecke algebras specialize both to the group algebras of the complex reflection groups G(r,1,n) and to the convolution algebras of (B \(^{\prime }\),B \(^{\prime }\))-double cosets in the group algebras of finite general linear groups, for certain subgroups B \(^{\prime }\) consisting of upper triangular matrices. In particular, complete sets of inequivalent, irreducible modules for semisimple specializations of Yokonuma-type Hecke algebras are constructed.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the smooth representation theory of the general linear group G=GL(F) of a non-Archimedean local field F. The point is the (explicit) construction of a special series of irreducible representations of compact open subgroups, called semisimple types, and the computation of their Hecke algebras. A given semisimple type determines a Bernstein component of the category of smooth representations of G; that component is then the module category for a tensor product of affine Hecke algebras; every component arises this way. Moreover, all Jacquet functors and parabolic induction functors connecting G with its Levi subgroups are described in terms of standard maps between affine Hecke algebras. These properties of semisimple types depend on their special intertwining properties which in turn imply strong bounds on the support of coefficient functions.  相似文献

Generalizing Schubert cells in type A and a cell decomposition of Springer fibres in type A found by L. Fresse we prove that varieties of complete flags in nilpotent representations of a cyclic quiver admit an affine cell decomposition parametrized by multi-tableaux. We show that they carry a torus operation with finitely many fixpoints. As an application of the cell decomposition we obtain a vector space basis of certain modules (for quiver Hecke algebras of nilpotent representations of this quiver), similar modules have been studied by Kato as analogues of standard modules.  相似文献

We study the Stiefel's manifolds which arise in the framework of the representations of the Euclidean Jordan and simple algebras. We prove that most of them are not sets of spectral synthesis by using the generalized Bessel functions associated with these representations. To cite this article: A.G. Kalliterakis, C. R. Acad. Quantum Drinfeld Hecke algebras are generalizations of Drinfeld Hecke algebras in which polynomial rings are replaced by quantum polynomial rings. We identify these algebras as deformations of skew group algebras, giving an explicit connection to Hochschild cohomology. We compute the relevant part of Hochschild cohomology for actions of many reflection groups, and we exploit computations from Naidu et al. (Proc Am Math Soc 139:1553–1567, 2011) for diagonal actions. By combining our work with recent results of Levandovskyy and Shepler (Can J Math 66:874–901, 2014) we produce examples of quantum Drinfeld Hecke algebras. These algebras generalize the braided Cherednik algebras of Bazlov and Berenstein (Selecta Math 14(3–4):325–372, 2009).  相似文献
