The paper derives a representation of classical Besov zero spaces by means of the so called B-products of the generalized Besov type zero spaces, generated by completely regular polyhedrons. Peetre K-functional is estimated and an interpolation formula of “real method” is proved for pairs of B-products. Some applications of these results are given. 相似文献

A classical theorem of Schur states that if the centre of a group G has finite index, then the commutator subgroup G′ of G is finite. A lattice analogue of this result is proved in this paper: if a group G contains a modularly embedded subgroup of finite index, then there exists a finite normal subgroup N of G such that G/N has modular subgroup lattice. Here a subgroup M of a group G is said to be modularly embedded in G if the lattice is modular for each element x of G. Some consequences of this theorem are also obtained; in particular, the behaviour of groups covered by finitely many subgroups
with modular subgroup lattice is described.

A group G has finite rank r if every finitely generated subgroup of G is at most r-generator. If C is a class of groups then we let C* denote the class of groups G in which every proper subgroup of G is either of finite rank or in C. We let denote the class of soluble groups and the class of soluble groups of derived length at most d, where d is a positive integer. We let λ denote the set of closure operations
and let denote the λ-closure of the class of periodic locally graded groups. Amongst other results we prove that a soluble -group is either of finite rank or of derived length at most d and also that a group in the class is either locally soluble, or has finite rank, or is isomorphic to one of or for suitable locally finite fields .

The paper considers a class of matrix-functions defined on some contour in the complex plane that have meromorphic continuations in the interior or exterior domain of that contour. These matrix-functions generally do not admit Wiener-Hopf standard factorization. The paper studies the problem of index factorization, which is a version of Wiener-Hopf factorization. Some criterions for index factorization and exact formulas for particular indices are found along with a constructive method which applies the factorization to solution of an explicit, finite system of linear algebraic equations. 相似文献

of quotients of values of the Dedekind Eta function in the complex plane, using the form , where A

are matrices whose rows are the coordinates of consecutive visible lattice points in a dilation XΩ of a fixed region Ω in , and z is a fixed complex number in the upper half plane. In particular, we show that the limiting distribution of these quotients
depends heavily on the index of Farey fractions which was first introduced and studied by Hall and Shiu. The distribution
of Farey fractions with respect to the value of the index dictates the universal limiting behavior of these quotients. Motivated
by chains of these quotients, we show how to obtain a generalization, due to Zagier, of an important formula of Hall and Shiu
on the sum of the index of Farey fractions.
