A series of novel nitro-substituted ortho-analogs of POPOP was synthesized. Like the most of the other known compounds of this class, the synthesized molecules demonstrate high Stokes shift fluorescence emission owing to the planarization of their molecules at electronic excitation. Significant fluorescence quenching in polar solvents was described as the “energy gap law” action rather than the specific effect of the dialkylamino group excited state twisting.   相似文献

Polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) and tetraethoxysilane (TEOS) hybrid materials were prepared by sol-gel methods and tested as matrices for immobilization of Trichosporon cutaneum R57, capable of removing cadmium and copper ions from aqueous solutions. Available quantitative data of the reactivity of organosilicon compounds were subjected to correlation analysis. As an alternative to the carbon chemistry values, the scale of steric constants E S (Si) can be used for organosilicon compounds and the inductive effect is best expressed by two terms, involving the parameter of electronegativity of substituents. Alkyl substituents contribute to the reactivity exclusively through their steric effects, steric and polar effects in silicon compounds are additive and the resonance effect is insignificant. The correlation analysis can be employed in investigations of organosilicon reactions along with other methods.   相似文献

Liquid-liquid partition is used in sample preparation and in countercurrent and liquid-liquid chromatographic separations. Partition coefficients are widely used in toxicology, environmental, and analytical chemistry. The K hn determination procedure for the n-hexane/nitromethane system was optimized and partition coefficients for 99 ketones, esters and trimethylsilyl derivatives of phenols, aliphatic and aromatic acids were determined. For 130 compounds, K hn values were predicted using mathematical relationships between K hn and other physicochemical and structural parameters.   相似文献

In the present paper we describe results on the synthesis and lipophilicity determination of a series of biologically active compounds based on their heterocyclic structure. For synthesis of styrylquinoline-based compounds we applied microwave irradiation and solid phase techniques. The correlation between RP-HPLC retention parameter log k (the logarithm of retention factor k) and log P data calculated in various ways is discussed, as well as, the relationships between the lipophilicity and the chemical structure of the studied compounds.   相似文献

Selected β-diketones bearing unsaturated derivatives have been demonstrated to undergo homo-metathesis and cross-metathesis with selected olefins in the presence of Grubbs catalysts. The half-wave potential (E1/2) is an important electrochemical property of organic compounds. In this work, a quantitative structure-property relationship (QSPR) analysis has been conducted on the half-wave reduction potential (E1/2) of 40 substituted benzoxazines by means of both a heuristic method (HM) and a non-linear radial basis function neural network (RBFNN) modeling method. The statistical parameters provided by the HM model (R2 =0.946; F=152.576; RMSCV=0.0141) and the RBFNN model (R2=0.982; F=1034.171 and RMS =0.0209) indicated satisfactory stability and predictive ability. The obtained models showed that benzoxazines with larger Min valency of a S atom (MVSA), lower Relative number of H atom (RNHA) and Min n-n repulsion for a C-H bond (MnnRCHB) and Minimal Electrophilic Reactivity Index for a C atom (MERICA) can be more easily reduced. This QSPR approach can contribute to a better understanding of structural factors of the organic compounds that contribute to the E1/2, and can be useful in predicting the E1/2 of other compounds.   相似文献

Silica surface was modified with phenylboronic acid derivatives. The structures of the functionalized supports were characterized by FT-IR spectroscopy, 13C CP/MAS NMR spectrometry, elemental and thermogravimetric analysis. The solid supports were effectively applied as artificial receptors for sugars in aqueous solutions. Alizarin Red S. (ARS) was used to detect colour change upon carbohydrate (sugar) binding. The association constants of the supports studied-ARS complex and the functionalized silica-sugar (glucose) complex were calculated. The parameters obtained were comparable with those for the phenylboronic acids used for the silica gel modification. The competitive binding of the functionalized silica surface with ARS and sugar were studied by UV/VIS measurements.   相似文献

Plasma polymerized pyrrole-like (PPpy) films exhibit good environmental stability and offer high reactivity with biomolecules. The present paper follows on from previous work on PPpy films applied as DNA immobilization/hybridization and describes the adsorption kinetics of bovine serum albumin (BSA) on PPpy films. Atom force microscopy was used to detect the surface roughness of PPpy surfaces obtained at different input powers or for different polymerization time, including the surface roughness before and after BSA adsorption. The influence of experimental conditions (i.e., the plasma input power, the polymerization time, the concentration of BSA, and the pH values of buffer solutions) on protein adsorption was investigated in situ by Surface plasmon resonance spectroscopy (SPR). SPR analysis confirmed the differently dynamic adsorption behavior of BSA on PPpy films under various experimental conditions. The adsorption constant, K a , was deduced from Langmuir isotherm equations, which were simulated using experimental data collected by SPR and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS). Analysis of the combination data of SPR and EIS indicates that PPpy films under various conditions show completely different adsorption behaviors and could be applied as biomaterials for electrochemical protein sensing or as protein-resistant.   相似文献

The applications of linear-polarized IR-spectroscopy to oriented colloid suspensions in a nematic host are demonstrated with croconic and rhodizonic acids. The experimental IR vibrational assignments of the solid-state of both neutral compounds are presented. Assignments are supported by theoretical quantum chemical calculations and vibrational analysis at the DFT level of theoretical approximation with the 6-311++G** basis set.   相似文献

The mechanism of interaction of hypoglycemic drugs, glimepiride and glipizide with human serum albumin (HSA) has been studied using fluorescence spectroscopy. The results are discussed in terms of the binding parameters, thermodynamics of the binding process, nature of forces involved in the interaction, identification of drug binding site on serum albumin and the fluorescence quenching mechanism involved. The association constants were of the order of 105 and glipizide was found to have much higher affinity for HSA than glimepiride at all temperatures. Thermodynamic parameters for the binding suggested that hydrophobic interactions are primarily involved in the binding of these drugs to HSA. However, glimepiride and glipizide appear to cause temperature-dependent conformational changes in the albumin molecule and, therefore, the nature of interaction varied with temperature. Glimepiride and glipizide bind to both site I and site II on HSA, but the primary interaction occurs at site II. The binding region in site II is different for the two drugs. Stern-Volmer analysis of quenching data indicated that tryptophan residues of HSA are not fully accessible to the drugs and a predominantly dynamic quenching mechanism is involved in the binding. Results can provide useful insight into prediction of competitive displacement of these drugs by other co-administered drugs and excipients, resulting in serious fluctuations of the blood glucose levels in diabetic patients.   相似文献
