A kind of compressible miscible displacement problems which include molecular diffusion and dispersion in porous media are investigated.A symmetric interior penalty discontinuous Galerkin (SIPG) method is applied to the coupled system of flow and transport.Using the induction hypotheses instead of the cut-off operator and the interpolation projection properties,a priori hp error estimates are presented.The error bounds in L2(H1) norm for concentration and in L∞(L2) norm for velocity are optimal in h and suboptimal in p with a loss of power 1/2.  相似文献

A sub-Markov semigroup in L is in general not strongly continuous with respect to the norm topology. We introduce a new topology on L for which the usual sub-Markov semigroups in the literature become C0-semigroups. This is realized by a natural extension of the Phillips theorem about dual semigroup. A simplified Hille–Yosida theorem is furnished. Moreover this new topological approach will allow us to introduce the notion of L-uniqueness of pre-generator. We present several important pre-generators for which we can prove their L-uniqueness. Pointwise convergence of double trigonometric Fourier series of functions in the Lebesgue space L p[0,2]2was studied by M. I. Dyachenko. In this paper, we also consider the problems of the convergence of double Fourier series in Pringsheim"s sense with respect to the trigonometric as well as the Walsh systems of functions in the Lebesgue space L p[0,1]2, p=(p1,p2), endowed with a mixed norm, in the particular case when the coefficients of the series in question are monotone with respect to each of the indices. We shall obtain theorems which generalize those of M. I. Dyachenko to the case when p is a vector. We shall also show that our theorems in the case of trigonometric Fourier series are best possible.  相似文献

We investigate inequalities for derivatives of trigonometric and algebraic polynomials in weighted L P spaces with weights satisfying the Muckenhoupt A p condition. The proofs are based on an identity of Balázs and Kilgore [1] for derivatives of trigonometric polynomials. Also an inequality of Brudnyi in terms of rth order moduli of continuity ωr will be given. In this paper, a new splitting positive definite nonconforming mixed finite element method is proposed for pseudo-hyperbolic equations, in which a quasi-Wilson quadrilateral element is used for the flux p, and the bilinear element is used for u. Superconvergence results in ||·||div,h norm for p and optimal error estimates in L2 norm for u are derived for both semi-discrete and fully discrete schemes under almost uniform meshes.  相似文献

We obtain sharp estimates for the localized distribution function of $\mathcal{M}\phi $ , when ? belongs to L p,∞ where $\mathcal{M}$ is the dyadic maximal operator. We obtain these estimates given the L 1 and L q norm, q<p and certain weak-L p conditions.In this way we refine the known weak (1,1) type inequality for the dyadic maximal operator. The sharp inequality of different metrics (Nikol’skii’s inequality) for algebraic polynomials in the interval [?1, 1] between the uniform norm and the norm of the space L q (α,β) , 1 ≤ q < ∞, with Jacobi weight ?(α,β)(x) = (1 ? x)α(1 + x)β α ≥ β > ?1, is investigated. The study uses the generalized translation operator generated by the Jacobi weight. In this paper, a cubic superconvergent finite volume element method based on optimal stress points is presented for one-dimensional elliptic and parabolic equations. For elliptic problem, it is proved that the method has optimal third order accuracy with respect to H1 norm and fourth order accuracy with respect to L2 norm. We also obtain that the scheme has fourth order superconvergence for derivatives at optimal stress points. For parabolic problem, the scheme is given and error estimate is obtained with respect to L2 norm. Finally, numerical examples are provided to show the effectiveness of the method.  相似文献

The following open question was implicit in the literature: Are there singular integrals whose kernels satisfy the Lr-Hörmander condition for any r > 1 but not the L-Hörmander condition? We prove that the one-sided discrete square function, studied in ergodic theory, is an example of a vector-valued singular integral whose kernel satisfies the Lr-Hörmander condition for any r > 1 but not the L-Hörmander condition. For a Young function A we introduce the notion of LA-Hörmander. We prove that if an operator satisfies this condition, then one can dominate the Lp(w) norm of the operator by the Lp(w) norm of a maximal function associated to the complementary function of A, for any weight w in the A class and 0 < p < ∞. We use this result to prove that, for the one-sided discrete square function, one can dominate the Lp(w) norm of the operator by the Lp(w) norm of an iterate of the one-sided Hardy-Littlewood Maximal Operator, for any w in the A+ class.  相似文献
