Three nickel(II) dinuclear carbonato-bridged complexes: (-CO3)[Ni(TAA)]2(ClO4)2·4H2O (1), (-CO3)[Ni(TTA)]2- (ClO4)2·2H2O (2), (-CO3)[Ni(cyclam)]2(ClO4)2 (3) [TAA =N(CH2CH2NH2)3,TTA=triethylenetetramine,cyclam = 1,4,8,11-tetraazacyclotetradecane] have been prepared. The temperature dependence of the magnetic susceptibility for (1), (2) and (3) were measured over the 77–300K range and the observed data were successfully simulated by an equation based on the spin Hamiltonian operator (H= –2JS1S2), giving the exchange integral J=–7.75cm–1 for (1), J=–1.23 cm–1 for (2) and J=–40.26cm–1 for (3).  相似文献

Novel complexes of the type [CuL2]3[Cr(NCS)6]2·xH2O (L = 2,2-bipyridine (bpy), x = 0; L = o-phenanthroline (phen), x = 1), [Cu(dien)]3[Cr(NCS)6]2·3H2O (dien=diethylenetriamine) or [Ni(phen)2]3[Cr(NCS)6]2· 2H2O have been prepared and studied by elemental analyses, i.r. spectra and magnetic measurements. Some of the complexes have been characterized by temperature-dependent magnetic susceptibilities, and weak antiferromagnetic exchange interaction was found for [Cu-(phen)2]3[Cr(NCS)6]2·H2O and [Ni(phen)2]3[Cr(NCS)6]2· 2H2O. Physico-chemical studies account for the polymeric structure, with thiocyanate bridges between Cu or octahedral Ni and octahedral Cr (chromophore CrN6).  相似文献

Summary Divalent nickel, cobalt and copper salts react with 2,6-diaminopyridine and acetylacetone to form complexes containing a 16-membered N6 tetradentate macrocyclic ligand. The complexes are characterised as distorted octahedra of the M(TML)X2 type where M=nickel(II), cobalt(II) and copper(II); TML=tetradentate macrocyclic ligand and X=Cl, Br, NO3 or NCS. The ligand coordinates through all the four azomethine nitrogen atoms which are bridged by acetylacetone moieties. Pyridine nitrogen does not participate in coordination, a fact supported by far i.r. studies. The magnetic, electronic and i.r. spectral studies indicate that the complexes have lower symmetries and the amounts of distortion calculated in terms of DT/DQ applying normalised spherical harmonic Hamiltonian theory indicate that these complexes are moderately distored.  相似文献

Three novel binuclear CoIIcomplexes, [Co2(TAE)-(phen)4](ClO4)2·3H2O(1),[Co2(TAE)(Nphen)4](ClO4)2 ·4H2O(2) and [CO2(TAE)(bipy)4](ClO4)2·H2O(3) (TAE=tetraacetylethene dianion, phen=1,10–phenanthroline, Nphen=5–nitro·1,10–phenanthroline, bipy =2,2-bipyridy1), have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, i.r., molar conductance and electronic reflection spectra. The complexes are proposed to contain tetraacetylethene dianion bridged structures and two CoII ions. The variable-temperature magnetic susceptibility of complex (1) was measured in the 4–300 K range. The magnetic coupling parameter is consistent with antiferromagnetic exchange between the two CoII centres and the data fit a binuclear magnetic exchange model based on the Hamiltonian operator ( = –2 J12, S1=S2=3/2), giving the antiferromagnetic coupling parameter of 2J=–1.55cm–1.  相似文献

Three new bis-cyclometalated iridium(III) complexes, of general formula [Ir(2-phenylpyridine)(2)(L)](+), are reported. The compounds contain a dipyridine-type ligand (L) derived from di-2-pyridylketone (dipyridin-2-ylmethanol, 2,2'-(hydrazonomethylene)dipyridine and 3-hydroxy-3,3-di(pyridine-2-yl)propanenitrile) and were synthesized through two different reaction pathways. The alternative synthetic pathway herein proposed, namely the direct reactions on the complex [Ir(2-phenylpyridine)(2)(2,2'-dipyridylketone)](+), overcame the inconveniences encountered with the standard reaction between the dimeric precursor [Ir(2-phenylpyridine)(2)(μ-Cl)](2) and the ancillary ligands (L). The photophysical characterization of the iridium complexes reveals that modifications on the ancillary ligand introduce large changes in the photophysical behaviour of the complexes. High emission quantum yield is associated with the presence of a saturated carbon between the two pyridyl moieties: [Ir(2-phenylpyridine)(2)(2,2'-dipyridylketone)](+) and [Ir(2-phenylpyridine)(2)(2,2'-(hydrazonomethylene)dipyridine)](+) are extremely low emissive, while [Ir(2-phenylpyridine)(2)(dipyridin-2-ylmethanol)](+) and [Ir(2-phenylpyridine)(2)(3-hydroxy-3,3-di(pyridine-2-yl)propanenitrile)](+) are good photoemitters. DFT and TD-DFT calculations confirmed the mixed LC/MLCT character of the excited states involved in the absorption and emission processes and highlighted the role of the π-conjugation between the two subunits of the ancillary ligand in determining the nature of the LUMO.  相似文献

Summary The FeII, FeIII, CoII, CoIII and NiII violurates have been synthesised and their electronic spectra (in Nujol mulls and dimethyl formamide), i.r. spectra, magnetic properties, molar conductivity, differential thermal analysis (d.t.a.), thermogravimetric analysis (t.g.a.), elemental analysis, m.p., specific gravity and solubility have been recorded. The Lewis acidity of [(eta5-C5R5)Fe(CO)2(BX2)] (1: R = H, X = Cl) and the robust nature of the constituent Fe--B bond have been demonstrated by reaction with 4-methylpyridine to yield the corresponding Lewis acid-base adduct. These properties have subsequently been utilised in the construction of heterodinuclear bridging borylene, bridging boryl and mu(2)-boride complexes from analogues 3 (R = Me, X = Br) and 5 (R = Me, X = Cl). Heteroleptic nickel(II) complexes with the general formula Ni(L)m(H2O)n(X)k, have been synthesized and structurally characterized; L stands for neutral N-donor ligands: 4-benzofuropyridine (bzfupy), dimethylfuropyridine (Me2fupy) and 1,2-dimethylimidazole (Me2iz), X = acetate or Cl. The structures of the complexes [Ni(bzfupy)2(ac)2(H2O)2], [Ni(Me2fupy)2(H2O)4](ac)2 and [Ni(Me2iz)4(H2O)2]Cl2 · 3H2O are formed from {NiO2O′2N2}, {NiO4N2} and {NiN4O2} chromophores, respectively. These complexes and two other previously characterized complexes, [Ni(pz)4(ac)2], pz – pyrazole, and [Ni(LNN)2(H2O)2], LNN – bidentate chelating ligand, were subjected to magnetochemical investigation down to 2 K (susceptibility and magnetization measurements). They show magnetic behaviour typical for zero-field splitting systems. The axial parameter of the zero-field splitting, D, adopts either positive or negative values and correlates with the axial distortion of the coordination polyhedra.  相似文献

The Pd(II) complex [PdCl(2)(1)] [1 = ({oxazolin-2-yl}methyl)diphenylphosphine] was obtained by the 1:1 reaction of 1 with [PdCl(2)(NCPh)(2)]. Although this neutral complex is stable in the solid-state and in solution, it reacts with the dinuclear complex [CoCl(2)(μ-1)](2) to afford the heterometallic zwitterionic complex [{PdCl(1)}(+)(μ-1)(CoCl(3))(-)] (2). Under inert atmosphere, two equivalents of 1 reacted with [NiCl(2)(dme)] to give trans-[NiCl(2)(1)(2)] (3) in CH(2)Cl(2) but cis-[NiCl(2)(1)(2)] (4) in CHCl(3). When the latter reaction was performed in air, trans-[NiCl(2)(5)(2)] (6) [5 = ({oxazolin-2-yl}methyl)diphenylphosphine oxide] was obtained. All metal complexes, 2, 3, 4 and 6, have been structurally characterized by X-ray diffraction. Complexes 3, 4 and 6 have been evaluated as precatalysts for ethylene oligomerisation in the presence of AlEtCl(2) as cocatalyst. Complexes 3 and 6 yielded a turnover frequency (TOF) of 60,700 and 62,600 mol of C(2)H(4)/((mol of Ni)·h), respectively, in the presence of 10 equiv. of AlEtCl(2). In the presence of only 6 equiv. of cocatalyst, these Ni complexes yielded TOF values of 41,500 and 58,000 mol of C(2)H(4)/((mol of Ni)·h), respectively.  相似文献

New dicationic triple-decker complexes with a bridging boratabenzene ligand [Cp*Fe(μ-η:η-C5H5BMe)ML]X2 (ML=CoCp*, 6(CF3SO3)2; RhCp, 7(BF4)2; IrCp, 8(CF3SO3)2; Ru(η-C6H6), 9(CF3SO3)2; Ru(η-C6H3Me3-1,3,5), 10(CF3SO3)2; Ru(η-C6Me6), 11(CF3SO3)2) were synthesized by stacking reactions of Cp*Fe(η-C5H5BMe) (2) with the corresponding half-sandwich fragments [ML]2+. Equilibria in binary and ternary systems containing cobalt(II) and nickel(II) salts, nitrilotriacetic acid, and dicarboxylates were studied by spectrophotometry with NaClO 4 as a supporting electrolyte (I = 0.1) at T = 20 ± 2°C. The molar and proton compositions of the complexes and the pH ranges of their existence were determined. The stability constants of the homo- and heteroleptic complexes were calculated. The pH-distribution of the detected complexes was obtained. The experimental data were processed in terms of the mathematical models that predict the existence of a wide spectrum of complex species in solution and allow ignoring those species that are negligible for accurate reproduction of the observed pattern.  相似文献

New dinuclear asymmetric ruthenium complexes of the type [(bpy)(2)Ru(5-CNphen)Ru(NH(3))(5)](4+/5+) (bpy = 2,2'-bipyridine; 5-CNphen = 5-cyano-1,10-phenanthroline) have been synthesized and characterized by spectroscopic, electrochemical, and photophysical techniques. The structure of the cation [(bpy)(2)Ru(5-CNphen)Ru(NH(3))(5)](4+) has been determined by X-ray diffraction. The mononuclear precursor [Ru(bpy)(2)(5-CNphen)](2+) has also been prepared and studied; while its properties as a photosensitizer are similar to those of [Ru(bpy)(3)](2+), its luminescence at room temperature is quenched by a factor of 5 in the mixed-valent species [(bpy)(2)Ru(II)(5-CNphen)Ru(III)(NH(3))(5)](5+), pointing to the occurrence of intramolecular electron-transfer processes that follow light excitation. From spectral data for the metal-to-metal charge-transfer transition Ru(II) --> Ru(III) in this latter complex, a slight electronic interaction (H(AB) = 190 cm(-1)) is disclosed between both metallic centers through the bridging 5-CNphen.  相似文献

A series of bis(thiazolinyl)- and bis(thiazolyl)pyridine Thio-Pybox ligands and their metal complexes of chromium(III), iron(II), cobalt(II) and nickel(II) has been prepared, as well as a nickel(II) complex containing a monoanionic bis(thiazolinyl)phenyl Thio-Phebox ligand. These new metal complexes have been characterised and used as catalysts, in combination with the co-catalyst MAO, for the polymerisation of ethylene and for the polymerisation of butadiene. In the case of ethylene polymerisation, the Thio-Pybox and Thio-Phebox metal complexes have shown relatively low polymerisation activities, much lower compared to the related bis(imino)pyridine complexes of the same metals. In the polymerisation of butadiene, several Thio-Pybox cobalt(II) complexes show very high activities, significantly higher than the other metal complexes with the same ligand. It is the metal, rather than the ligand, that appears to have the most profound effect on the catalytic activity in butadiene polymerisation, unlike in the polymerisation of ethylene, where bis(imino)pyridine ligands provide highly active catalysts for a range of 1st row transition metals.  相似文献

This work describes the synthesis and characterization of two new bis-terdentate Ru(II) complexes. Compound 1 is a homoleptic complex containing two CNC N-heterocyclic carbene (NHC) based ligands, whereas compound 2 bears one CNC ligand and an ancillary terpyridine ligand. The redox and photophysical properties of both compounds have been investigated and their X-ray crystal structures determined. Complex 1 displays a close-to-perfect octahedral coordination geometry and is not luminescent at room temperature while complex 2 features room temperature and 77 K luminescence despite its partially distorted geometry. The presence of the NHC moieties brings a significant amount of electronic density to the metal centre therefore lowering its oxidation potential with respect to that of analogous polypyridyl complexes.  相似文献

A highly efficient and general method based on transmetalation with an organozinc reagent is developed for selective preparation of homo- and heteroleptic meridional tris-cyclometalated iridium complexes. The molecular structure of mer-Ir(1-piq)2(ppy) (2) has been determined by a single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis.
