基于偏振模色散矢量的偏振模色散补偿方案的研究   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
在研究局部偏振模色散矢量与整体偏振模色散矢量关系的基础上,从理论上得到完全补偿偏振模色散的关系,结论是至少利用两段保偏光纤才能完全补偿。提出了基于偏振模色散矢量的偏振模色散补偿方案和调节控制的算法原理及改进的方向。这些结果对正确进行偏振模色散补偿是很有帮助的。  相似文献

偏分复用系统信道串扰的理论模型及消除方案   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2  
建立了偏分复用(PDM)系统中信道串扰的数学模型,并提出了消除该串扰的方案,即用解复用端一路光信号的射频(RF)功率作为反馈信号以监测光信号在链路中偏振态的变化和在接收端的串扰情况,用粒子群优化(PSO)算法作为逻辑控制单元的算法,控制偏振控制器以消除信道间的串扰。数值仿真了RF功率与信道串扰大小之间的关系,并在2×50Gb/s偏分复用-差分正交移相键控(PDM-DQPSK)传输系统平台上仿真验证了消除串扰方案的效果。结果表明该方案能够大幅降低系统误码率,改善系统性能。  相似文献

成功地研制了光纤通信系统偏振模色散的自适应补偿实验系统.实验中采用特定频率分量功率取样作为反馈信号,采用一种名为PSO(Particle Swarm Optimization)的优化方法作为反馈控制算法.偏振模色散的补偿量达30 ps,自动跟踪补偿时间为1~2 s,实现了准实时自动跟踪补偿.  相似文献

利用双折射光纤中孤子自捕获现象可以抑制偏振模色散,但这种抑制技术对传输参量有严格的限制.本文提出在双折射光纤中周期性地改变快慢轴的方法来抑制偏振模色散. 研究发现,这种方法在一定程度上能有效地抑制偏振模色散,并且光纤间偏振轴的夹角偏差有利于对偏振模色散的进一步抑制.  相似文献

基于基本偏振态模型,采用三双折射元补偿结构,提出一种用于补偿高速率光纤通信系统中的偏振模色散的可行方案.此方案在一阶偏振模色散补偿的基础上,仅增加了对两个参量的控制,即可对高阶偏振模色散进行补偿,并且高阶补偿过程的参量控制完全独立于一阶补偿过程,极大的提高了偏振模色散的动态补偿效率.数值模拟结果表明,此方案的补偿效果也是显著的.  相似文献

高速率、大容量的密集波分复用系统是光纤通信系统的最终发展方向 ,单信道速率达到 4 0Gbit/s时 ,光纤的非线性效应、偏振模色散现象对系统的影响更加突出。在综合考虑群速度色散、自相位调制、交叉相位调制、四波混合、偏振模色散等因素的基础上 ,推导了密集波分复用系统中任意信道的耦合非线性薛定谔方程组。利用扩展的分步傅里叶方法对该方程进行了数值计算 ,通过对 8× 4 0Gbit/s密集波分复用系统的仿真 ,分别研究了非线性效应和偏振模色散对密集波分复用系统的影响。发现由于交叉相位调制和四波混合作用 ,多波长的密集波分复用系统比单波系统受非线性效应影响严重 ;系统受偏振模色散与非线性效应的影响程度与输入信号功率有关 ,在入射光单信道平均功率较低 0 .1mW时 ,偏振模色散是影响系统性能的主要因素 ;当入射光单信道平均功率较高1mW时 ,系统受非线性效应影响严重。而偏振模色散在使信号脉冲展宽的同时 ,类似于非零色散位移光纤中的微小色散 ,对非线性效应又有一定的抑制作用。  相似文献

介绍了光纤光栅的偏振模色散测量,并利用一段偏光纤对光纤光栅的偏振模色散进行补偿,效果良好。在40Gb/s、60km光纤光栅色散补偿系统中,加入保偏光纤对光纤光栅的偏振模色散进行补偿前后的测试结果表明,误码率为10^-10时,系统的功率代价由1.21dB改善为0.46dB。  相似文献

利用琼斯矩阵法研究了长单模光纤中偏振模色散的仿真模型.考虑到偏振模色散的随机性,该模型中单模光纤被看作是一系列短双折射光纤段的级联,相邻两段之间耦合角是随机的.研究结果表明,当短双折射光纤段等长时,偏振模色散呈现随波长周期性变化的特点;不符合实际情况.当短双折射光纤段不等长且服从高斯分布时,周期性逐渐消失;当其长度均方差为均值的20%,周期性完全消失.最后比较了偏振模色散的时域统计特性.取短双折射光纤段的长度服从高斯分布且均方差为均值的20%,偏振模色散的统计特性接近于实际分布.因此得出结论:为了正确估计偏振模色散的影响,在单模光纤的级联模型中,短双折射光纤段的长度应服从高斯分布,均方差为其均值的20%.  相似文献

对40Gb/s光纤通信中归零码和非归零码光脉冲的偏振度随二阶偏振模色散的变化规律进行了数值模拟,结果表明由于二阶偏振模色散的影响,偏振度的变化趋势呈现出震荡性,二阶偏振模色散对归零码的偏振度要比非归零码的偏振度影响明显;同时搭建了偏振模色散补偿系统,对系统进行数值模拟和实验所得到的结果都表明,以偏振度作为反馈信号,采用粒子群优化算法作搜索算法能够有效地对归零码和非归零码系统的一阶及高阶偏振模色散进行自适应补偿。  相似文献

A novel dual polarization differential quadrature phase shift keying (DP-DQPSK) system is proposed, whose receiver is the same as the single polarization DQPSK system, while it does not need polarization de-multiplexing like the conventional polarization division multiplexing QPSK (PDM-QPSK). Polarization mode dispersion (PMD) is mainly considered and PMD compensation for the DP-DQPSK system is studied. As the feedback signal for PMD compensation, the degree of polarization of the signals is discussed in detail. The results show that PMD tolerance can be improved by 89 ps within 1 dB optical signal noise ratio penalty after PMD compensation for the DP-DQPSK system.  相似文献

Three clock synchronization schemes for a quantum key distribution system are compared experimentally through the outdoor fibre and the interaction physical model of the the clock signal and the the quantum signal in the quantum key distribution system is analysed to propose a new synchronization scheme based on time division multiplexing and wavelength division multiplexing technology to reduce quantum bits error rates under some transmission rate conditions.The proposed synchronization scheme can not only completely eliminate noise photons from the bright background light of the the clock signal,but also suppress the fibre nonlinear crosstalk.  相似文献

A three-stage compensator used for Polarization mode dispersion (PMD) and Chromatic dispersion (CD) compensation is proposed. The compensator is capable of compensating the two components of second-order PMD when no CD exists. Two operating points of compensating second-order PMD have been proposed. Two-stage and three-stage compensators are compared by the outage probability. When CD is introduced, the compensator should retain a quantity of second-order PMD to compensate CD. The outage probability when PMD and CD coexist has been calculated. The results show that a tradeoff must be made in order to compensate CD and PMD at the same time.  相似文献

This paper reports that the designed optical polarization mode dispersion compensator shows a good performance under the real-time variation of differential group delay, state of polarization and principal state of polarization in a (40 × 43)-Gb/s dense-wavelength-multiplexing, 1200-km enhanced return-to-zero differential-quadrature-phase-shift-keying (RZ-DQPSK) system. The polarization mode dispersion tolerance of the system is improved by 26 ps using the optical polarization mode dispersion compensator. 通过对微分群时延差(DGD)统计特性和偏振模色散(PMD)矢量自相关函数的数值模拟,分析比较了目前常用的三种PMD模拟器的性能. 结果表明:在DGD分布方面,由DGD发生器构成的模拟器,一个DGD发生器就可与实际光纤PMD的统计特性相符合,而由保偏光纤和可旋转的连接器构成的模拟器则至少需要15段. 在自相关函数方面,基于保偏光纤的模拟器取决于各段光纤的延时量,而基于DGD发生器的模拟器在中心频带外的自相关值很平稳,可视为常数. 关键词: 光纤通信 偏振模色散 偏振模色散模拟器 自相关函数  相似文献

We derive an analytical expression for the expected root-mean-square (rms) pulse broadening with considering the combined effects of all-order polarization mode dispersion (PMD), group velocity dispersion (GVD) and frequency chirp. It is shown that two commonly used first-order PMD compensators lose their efficiency quickly with chirp parameter increasing if GVD is ignored. When GVD is added, prechirp technique is helpful for the enhancement of PMD tolerance for both uncompensated case and first-order compensators when GVD and PMD coefficient satisfy some special relationship.  相似文献

针对光纤模分复用传输系统中模式耦合串扰问题, 设计并制备了一种新型少模光纤, 其较高的模式差分群延时保证各模式信道独立传输.在此基础上, 提出一种级联多输入多输出(MIMO)延时均衡算法, 进一步减少源于模式复用器和解复用器的模式串扰, 提高基于少模光纤的模分复用传输系统的传输距离和传输容量.与传统MIMO均衡算法相比, 级联MIMO延时均衡算法在没有显著增加计算复杂度的条件下, 能够应用于模式差分群延时很大的模分复用传输系统.对单信道传输速率为 40 Gbps的四相相移键控两模复用传输系统进行仿真, 经40 km少模光纤传输后, 采用级联MIMO均衡算法较普通MIMO均衡算法有1.7 dB的质量因子的提升. 仿真结果证明, 使用少模光纤和级联MIMO延时均衡算法能够有效地消除模分复用信号间的串扰, 有望在下一代大容量光纤传输系统中获得 推广应用. 关键词: 模分复用 少模光纤 模式差分群延时 多输入多输出均衡  相似文献

We propose a novel modulation format of 50% RZ polarization interleaved multiplexing DQPSK for high-speed self-homodyne receiving systems. The proposed modulation format enables excellent tolerance of chromatic dispersion and polarization crosstalk. In self-homodyne receiving systems, the proposed format can reduce the cost of adaptive equalization module. A modified split-step Fourier method (SSFM) is presented to solve the coupled nonlinear Schroedinger equation (CNLS) that can be used to model high-speed pulse propagation in optical fibres with polarization mode dispersion (PMD). We compare our approach with the SSFM and demonstrate that our approach is much faster with no loss of pre-chirped RZ(CRZ) formats in the presence of high PMD through this approach. The simulation results show that CRZ pulses are the most tolerant to high PMD values and the extinct ratio has a great impact on the transmission performance.  相似文献

Polarization mode dispersion (PMD) is the ultimate limitation to high bit-rate fibre communication system. The stability of PMD is very important to its measurement and compensation. This paper puts forward a method to measure the stability of PMD by measuring the stability of the state of polarization (SOP) and introduces the conception of time evolution vector (TEV) of SOP. We observe the fact that the regularity of the principal state of polarization changing with time is the same as other SOPs‘‘, if we neglect the dependence of TEV on wavelength. We also measure the SOP‘‘s stability of some fibres with different lengths, and obtain results of PMD changing with time.  相似文献
