A water‐soluble, cyclodextrin‐supported palladium complex (DACH‐Pd‐β‐CD) catalytic system was designed and synthesized, which can efficiently catalyze Suzuki–Miyaura cross‐coupling reactions between aryl halides and arylboronic acid in water under mild conditions. The catalyst was successfully characterized using the methods of transmission electron microscopy, energy‐dispersive X‐ray spectrometry, X‐ray diffraction, thermogravimetric analysis, and Fourier transform infrared and NMR spectroscopies. Furthermore, the catalyst can be easily separated from the reaction mixture and still maintain high catalytic activity after ten cycles. No leaching of palladium into the reaction solution occurred. The advantages of green solvent (water), short reaction times (2–6 h), low catalyst loading (0.001 mol%), excellent yields (up to 99%) and reusability of the catalyst mean it will have potential applications in green chemical synthesis.  相似文献

We report a simple and efficient procedure for Suzuki–Miyaura reactions in aqueous media catalysed by amidophosphine‐stabilized palladium complexes trans‐{L3PPh2}2PdCl2 ( 3 ), trans‐{L3PPhtBu}2PdCl2 ( 4 ), [Pd(η3‐C3H5)(L3PPh2)Cl] ( 5 ) and {Pd[2‐(Me2NCH2)C6H4](L3PPh2)Cl} ( 6 ). The acidity of the NH proton in complexes 3 , 4 , 5 , 6 plays an important role in their catalytic activity. In addition, the palladium complexes cis‐{L1PPh2}PdCl2 ( 1 ) and trans‐{L2PPh2}2PdCl2 ( 2 ) stabilized by phosphines containing Y,C,Y‐chelating ligands L1,2 have also been found to be useful catalysts for Suzuki–Miyaura reactions in aqueous media. The method can be effectively applied to both activated and deactivated aryl bromides yielding high or moderate conversions. The catalytic activity of couplings performed in pure water increases when utilizing a Pd complex with more acidic NH protons. A decrease of palladium concentration from 1.0 to 0.5 mol% does not lead to a substantial loss of conversion. In addition, Pd complex 1 can be efficiently recovered using two‐phase system extraction. A semi‐synthetic method has been developed for the synthesis of aminoarylbenzosuberenes (AABs) from naturally occurring himachalenes, an isomeric mixture of sesquiterpenes present in Cedrus deodara oil. Polymer‐stabilized Pd(0) nanoparticle‐catalysed Suzuki–Miyaura cross‐coupling reaction of aminovinyl bromide‐substituted benzosuberenes has been adopted for AAB synthesis. The catalyst performed well with different amine substituents, and was recycled up to five times. The synthesis of such arylated benzosuberene class of compounds from natural precursors following semi‐synthetic approaches could provide an attractive alternative method with reduced number of steps.  相似文献

A porphyrin‐based polymer with high surface area was synthesized using 5,10,15,20‐tetraphenylporphyrin through a one‐pot Friedel–Crafts alkylation reaction. Pd(II) was successfully supported on this polymer. This strategy provides an easy approach to produce highly stable Pd–porphyrin‐based polymer. The resulting Pd catalyst was characterized using Fourier transform infrared and X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopies, thermogravimetric analysis, scanning and transmission electron microscopies and N2 adsorption–desorption measurements. This porphyrin‐based polymer‐supported Pd was used as a heterogeneous catalyst for Suzuki–Miyaura coupling reaction in water. The results demonstrated that this Pd catalyst indeed exhibited excellent catalytic activity and recycling performance in water, even for inactive aryl chloride substrate. A new heterogeneous strategy for catalyzing the Suzuki–Miyaura reaction in water is provided.  相似文献

Graphene oxide was functionalized with benzimidazole for palladium immobilization. The resultant graphene–benzimidazole‐supported palladium composite (G‐BI‐Pd) was characterized using infrared and Raman spectroscopies, transmission electron microscopy and energy‐dispersive X‐ray spectroscopy. G‐BI‐Pd showed excellent catalytic activity and fast reaction kinetics in the aqueous‐phase Suzuki–Miyaura reaction of aryl iodides and bromides with phenylboronic acid under relatively mild conditions (5–25 min, 80 °C). The catalyst can be used several times without any significant loss of its catalytic activity.  相似文献

[LsPdOAc]2 was used as a catalyst in the Suzuki–Miyaura cross coupling reaction of 4‐bromotoluene with phenylboronic acid, which resulted in a conversion of >90% with 5 mol% of the Pd complex within 10 min at 60°C.  相似文献

As a continuation of our efforts to develop new heterogeneous nanomagnetic catalysts for greener reactions, we identified a Schiff base–palladium(II) complex anchored on magnetic nanoparticles (SB‐Pd@MNPs) as a highly active nanomagnetic catalyst for Suzuki–Miyaura cross‐coupling reactions between phenylboronic acid and aryl halides and for the reduction of nitroarenes using sodium borohydride in an aqueous medium at room temperature. The SB‐Pd@MNPs nanomagnetic catalyst shows notable advantages such as simplicity of operation, excellent yields, short reaction times, heterogeneous nature, easy magnetic work up and recyclability. Characterization of the synthesized SB‐Pd@MNPs nanomagnetic catalyst was performed with various physicochemical methods such as attenuated total reflectance infrared spectroscopy, UV–visible spectroscopy, inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectroscopy, energy‐dispersive X‐ray spectroscopy, field‐emission scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, powder X‐ray powder diffraction, thermogravimetric analysis and Brunauer–Emmett–Teller surface area analysis.  相似文献

An improved and eco‐friendly procedure has been developed to generate mesoporous silica‐supported palladium nanoparticles (SiO2@PdNP) that could be used as a sustainable heterogeneous Pd catalyst for phosphine‐free Suzuki–Miyaura and Heck coupling reactions with excellent turnover number and turnover frequency. The presence of Pd on the silica surface was detected by X‐ray diffraction and the structural morphology of SiO2@PdNP was obtained by transmission electron microscopy. The heterogeneous catalytic system is recyclable and leaching of the metal after the reaction is not apparently observed. Copyright © 2013 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

A series of ordered mesoporous organic–inorganic hybrid material was designed by using the amine‐functionalized SBA‐15 (PdX2@SBA‐15/NY, Y = 1, 2) as solid support for palladium complexes. Among them, the Pd(OAc)2/ethylenediamine complex encapsulated into SBA‐15 (Pd(OAc)2@SBA‐15/PrEn or Pd(OAc)2@SBA‐15/PrNHEtNH2) exhibits higher activity and selectivity toward Suzuki cross‐coupling reaction under aerobic conditions and water solvent mixture. The SBA‐15/PrEn supported palladium pre‐catalyst could be separated easily from reaction products and used repetitively several times, showing its superiority over homogeneous catalysts for industrial and chemical applications. A novel nanocatalyst was designed and prepared. Initially, the surface of magnetic graphene oxide (M‐GO) was modified using thionyl chloride, tris(hydroxymethyl)aminomethane and acryloyl chloride as linkers which provide reactive C═C bonds for the polymerization of vinylic monomers. Separately, β‐cyclodextrin (β‐CD) was treated with acryloyl chloride to provide a modified β‐CD. Then, in the presence methylenebisacrylamide as a cross‐linker, monomers of modified β‐CD and acrylamide were polymerized on the surface of the pre‐prepared M‐GO. Finally, palladium acetate and sodium borohydride were added to this composite to afford supported palladium nanoparticles. This fabricated nanocomposite was fully characterized using various techniques. The efficiency of this easily separable and reusable heterogeneous catalyst was successfully examined in Suzuki–Miyaura cross‐coupling reactions of aryl halides and boronic acid as well as in modified Suzuki–Miyaura cross‐coupling reactions of N‐acylsuccinimides and boronic acid in green media. The results showed that the nanocatalyst was efficient in coupling reactions for direct formation of the corresponding biphenyl as well as benzophenone derivatives in green media based on bio‐based solvents. In addition, the nanocatalyst was easily separable, using an external magnet, and could be reused several times without significant loss of activity under the optimum reaction conditions.  相似文献

An efficient catalytic system based on a new palladium–bis(oxazoline) ( Pd-BOX-1 ) complex has been developed. The complex Pd-BOX-1 adopts a legless chair‐type structure where the distorted square planar [PdN2Cl2] moiety and the benzene ring spacer represent the seat and the chair back, respectively. The catalytic activity of Pd-BOX-1 has been investigated in dimethylformamide–water under aerobic and mild conditions in Suzuki–Miyaura coupling reactions of arylboronic acids with aryl iodides, aryl bromides and aryl chlorides, Mizoroki–Heck coupling reactions of aryl halides with styrene derivatives, and Sonogashira coupling reactions of aryl halides with terminal alkynes. A wide range of functional groups as substituents on the arylboronic acids and aryl halides were considered. Pd-BOX-1 demonstrates exceptional air and moisture stability. Of note, the catalyst system based on Pd-BOX-1 shows high recycling ability in Suzuki–Miyaura coupling reactions in dimethylformamide–water without any loss in catalytic activity. A suitable approach to stabilize palladium nanoparticles (Pd NPs), with an average diameter of 3–4 nm, on magnetic polymer is described. A new magnetic polymer containing 4′‐(4‐hydroxyphenyl)‐2,2′:6′,2″‐terpyridine (HPTPy) ligand was prepared by the polymerization of itaconic acid (ITC) as a monomer and trimethylolpropane triacrylate (TMPTA) as a cross‐linker and fully characterized. Pd NPs embedded on the magnetic polymer were successfully applied in Suzuki–Miyaura and Mizoroki–Heck coupling reactions under low palladium loading conditions, and provided the corresponding products with excellent yields (up to 98%) and high catalytic activities (TOF up to 257 hr?1). Also, the catalyst can be easily separated and reused for at least consecutive five times with a small drop in catalytic activity.  相似文献

A series of salicylaldimine ligands were designed to promote palladium‐catalyzed Suzuki–Miyaura cross‐coupling reaction. After a screening process, a ligand with a bulky 2,4‐di‐tert‐butyl substituent on the salicyaldehyde backbone and cyclohexylamine moiety was found to serve as a good combination for this reaction in aqueous solutions of DMF. The protocol demonstrated a significant advance in the efficiency of the cross‐coupling of aryl bromides and aryl chlorides with arylboronic acids to produce the desired biaryl products. The reaction of N‐methylimidazole (N‐MeIm) and N‐butylimidazole (N‐BuIm) with the complexes [PdCl2(PPh2py–P,N)] and [PdCl2(PPh2Etpy–P,N)] in the presence of NH4PF6 under N2 at room temperature afforded four new cationic Pd(II) complexes [PdCl(PPh2py–P,N)(N‐MeIm)](PF6) ( 1 ), [PdCl(PPh2py–P,N)(N‐BuIm)](PF6) ( 2 ), [PdCl(PPh2Etpy–P,N)(N‐MeIm)](PF6) ( 4 ) and [PdCl(PPh2Etpy‐P,N)(N‐BuIm)](PF6) ( 5 ) in good yields, where PPh2py is 2‐(diphenylphosphino)pyridine and PPh2Etpy is 2‐{2‐(diphenylphosphino)ethyl}pyridine). The complexes were fully characterized. The catalytic activities of these complexes were investigated for Suzuki–Miyaura cross‐coupling reactions at room temperature. Complex 2 exhibited excellent activity compared to other analogs. Copyright © 2013 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

A fast and efficient eco‐friendly two‐step preparation of a palladium‐containing mesoporous carbon catalyst ( C1 ) from green and readily available carbon precursors (phloroglucinol and glyoxal), a porogen template (pluronic F‐127) and PdCl2 is described. Catalyst C1 contains ultra‐small Pd nanoparticles (1.2 nm) uniformly dispersed in the carbon network and shows an outstanding activity for Suzuki‐Miyaura reactions in pure water: extremely low amounts of palladium (10 μequiv. in most cases) are sufficient to afford almost palladium‐free products (containing <0.25 ppm of precious metal without further purification steps).  相似文献

A nanosilica (derived from rice husk)‐anchored Pd(II)–Schiff base complex has been synthesized and characterized. This immobilized complex has been found to be a very effective and recyclable heterogeneous catalyst for the Suzuki–Miyaura cross‐coupling reaction of various aryl halides with arylboronic acid in aqueous medium under mild conditions. The products were identified using 1H NMR and mass spectral studies. This complex can be easily filtered out from the reaction medium and reused up to six times without significant loss of catalytic activity. Since the reaction proceeds under mild conditions in aqueous medium as well as the catalyst being recyclable, it provides an environmentally benign alternative route to the existing protocols for the Suzuki–Miyaura reaction.  相似文献

Pd‐PEPPSI‐IPr catalyst was found to be a powerful and reusable catalyst under relatively mild reaction conditions.  相似文献

The purpose of this work was to synthesize and characterize a new magnetic polymer nanosphere‐supported palladium(II) acetate catalyst for reactions requiring harsh conditions. In this regard, an air‐stable, moisture‐stable and highly efficient heterogenized palladium was synthesized by the coordination of palladium(II) acetate with poly(2‐acrylamido‐2‐methyl‐1‐propanesulfonic acid)‐grafted modified magnetic nanoparticles with a core–shell structure. The structure of the newly developed catalyst was characterized using various techniques. The catalytic activity of the resultant nano‐organometallic catalyst was evaluated in Mizoroki–Heck and Suzuki–Miyaura reactions to afford the corresponding coupling products in good to excellent yields. High selectivity as well as outstanding turnover number (14 143, 4900) and turnover frequency (28 296, 7424) values were recorded for the catalyst in Suzuki–Miyaura and Mizoroki–Heck reactions, respectively. Magnetic separation and recycling of the catalyst for at least six runs became possible without any significant loss of efficiency or any detectable palladium leaching.  相似文献
