The problem on the diffraction of the electromagnetic plane wave on a small obstacle in a layer is investigated. The obstacle is assumed to be a circular cylinder and its radius is small in comparison with the length of the incident wave. It is proved that the small obstacle radiates as a linear source. Its intensity is proportional to the area of a cross-section and the jumps of the dielectric and magnetic constants on the interfaces. Bibliography: 4 titles.  相似文献

The problem on the diffraction of a plane elastic wave with horizontal polarization (SH wave) on a small obstacle placed in a layer is investigated. The layer is situated on a half-space with stress-free boundary. The obstacle is assumed to be a circular cylinder with radius small in comparison with the length of the incident wave. The polarization of the incident wave is parallel to the axis of the cylinder. It is proved that the small inhomogeneity radiates as a linear source such that the intensity of the radiation is proportional to the area of the cross-section of the obstacle and the jump of the squared transverse velocities in the layer and in the obstacle. The diffraction problem for the electromagnetic plane wave scattered on a small inhomogeneity in a slightly curved layer is investigated. The inhomogeneity is assumed to be a cylinder. The area of the cross-section and the the diameter of the cylinder are small in comparison with the length of the incident wave. It is proved that the small inhomogeneity radiates as a point source the power of which is proportional to the area of the cross-section and to the jumps of the dielectric and magnetic constants on the interfaces. The bend of the layer manifests itself in the exponential factors of reflected and refracted waves and in the radiation pattern of scattered waves. 本文用复变函数论方法研究了弹性波在平面多连通域中的绕射问题,给出了这一问题解的完备逼近序列及边备条件的一般表示。问题归结为无穷代数方程组的求解,使用电子计算机可直接求得解答。特别是,对弱耦合问题,本文提出了渐近求解方法并且使用这个方法详细地讨论了P波对圆孔群的绕射问题。基于绕射波场的解,文中给出了任意形状空腔动应力集中系数的一般算式。  相似文献

The problem of transformation of the front of a plane longitudinal shock wave by curvilinear interfaces of layered anisotropic elastic media with different mechanical properties is considered. To solve the nonlinear Snell equations, the approach based on a synthesis of the Newton method and the algorithm of parametric continuation of a solution is used. The cases of focusing and scattering of rays by convex and concave interfaces of layered composite media and by convex lenses are investigated. An exact solution is derived for a boundary-value problem forLaplace's equation which is a generalization of the one occurringin the course of solution of the problem of diffraction of surfacewater waves by a nearly vertical submerged barrier. The methodof solution involves the use of complex function theory, theSchwarz reflection principle, and reduction to a system of twouncoupled Riemann-Hilbert problems. Numerical study of properties of quasilocal plane waves of the modal type propagating deep into a medium is carried out with the example of the model of a low-velocity elastic layer in the case of rigid contact with the underlying half-space. It is established that the genesis of these waves is closely related to singular complex roots of the dispersion equation of the problem. Eighteen variants of the model differing by relative parameters of the problem, which have a physical meaning, are considered. A theoretical study of polarization-spectral anomalies of wave fields, or their deviations from the predictions based on simple plane-wave models, is presented. A simple unified method of numerical simulation of anomalies of nonstationary wave fields near a caustic and in the penumbra is described. It uses both the leading and correcting terms in asymptotic expansions. Examples of calculation of displacements and average polarization ellipses are given. Problems of diffraction of a time-dependent wave by a planescreen of arbitrary shape are discussed. The method is basedon the progressing wave formalism which is a time-dependentversion of the geometrical theory of diffraction and yieldsapproximate solutions of diffraction problems. The diffractionproblem is formulated as an initial-boundary value problem forthe scalar wave equation. The solution is obtained by generalizinga "uniform" asymptotic solution recently found for the time-harmoniccase. These solutions are free of the anomalous singularitiesat the shadow boundaries and at the edge of the screen whichare present in the solutions constructed by the geometricaltheory of diffraction.  相似文献

Biot [5] examined the propagation of waves along the free surface of a cylindrical cavity in an elastic body of infinite extent and obtained a dispersion relation for the velocity of this wave in terms of the ratio of the wavelength to the cavity diameter. This paper contains solutions for waves in a semiinfinite elastic medium with a cylindrical cavity with axially symmetric harmonic loading of the plane surface. The solutions are expressed in terms of Lame potentials which are represented by combinations of integrals containing trigonometric kernels and kernels of Weber transforms. A solution is obtained for volume waves and Biot waves. The relative velocity and relative length of surface waves are studied as functions of the loading frequency.  相似文献

The nonstationary propagation of waves on the surface of an elastic half space from a deep expansion source (model of an explosion in a half space) is examined. Exact solutions are obtained in the form of integrals with finite limits and the general solution is calculated. Algebraic expressions are obtained for the Rayleigh wave. The transition of Rayleigh waves at the surface of the half space is studied. Calculations of Rayleigh waves from discontinuous pulsed sources are presented.  相似文献
