Partial-wave scattering amplitudes in baryon-baryon and baryon-antibaryon collisions and amplitudes for the production and
decay of baryon resonances are constructed in the framework of the spin-momentum operator expansion method. The approach is
relativistically invariant and it allows us to perform combined analyses of different reactions imposing analyticity and unitarity
directly. The role of final-state interactions (triangle and box diagrams) is discussed. 相似文献

Using the results of the GRAAL Collaboration on the η photoproduction from the neutron target, we attempt to extract the partial
radiative width of the possible new nucleon resonance N
*(1675). The obtained estimates support this resonance to be a very attractive candidate for the non-strange member of the
exotic antidecuplet of baryons --a partner of the Θ+ pentaquark. Our phenomenological value for the transition magnetic moment μ(n

n), appears to be in good agreement with the predictions of the Chiral Quark Soliton Model. 相似文献

A formalism is developed for the partial-wave analysis of data on meson photoproduction off deuterons and applied to photoproduction
of and mesons. Different interpretations of a dip-bump structure of the photoproduction cross-section in the 1670MeV region are presented and discussed. Helicity amplitudes for two low-mass S11 states are determined. 相似文献

Cross-sections, beam asymmetries, and recoil polarisations for the reactions γp → K
+Λ;γp → K
+Σ0, and γp → K
0Σ+ have been measured by the SAPHIR, CLAS, and LEPS Collaborations with high statistics and good angular coverage for centre-of-mass
energies between 1.6 and 2.3 GeV. The combined analysis of these data with data from π and η photoproduction reveals evidence
for new baryon resonances in this energy region. A new P11 state with mass 1840 MeV and width 140 MeV was observed contributing to most of the fitted reactions. The data demand the
presence of two D13 states at 1875 and, optimistically, at 2170 MeV. 相似文献

A combined analysis of photoproduction data on γp↦ πN, ηN was performed including the data on KΛ and KΣ. The data are interpreted in an isobar model with s-channel baryon resonances and π, ρ (ω), K, and K
* exchange in the t-channel. Three baryon resonances have a substantial coupling to ηN, the well-known N(1535)S
11, N(1720)P
13, and N(2070)D
15. The inclusion of data with open strangeness reveals evidence for further new resonances, N(1840)P
11, N(1875)D
13 and, with weaker evidence, for N(2170)D

Photoproduction of η -mesons was studied with the Crystal-Barrel detector at ELSA for photon energies in the range from 0.75
to 3GeV. Total and differential cross-sections are presented. The η mesons are detected in two decay modes, in η → 2γ and
in η → 3π0 → 6γ . The cross-sections vary slowly as functions of energy and η production angle suggesting that only few resonances make
significant contributions to the cross-section. For photon energies above 1.5GeV, the differential cross-sections show a strong
forward peak due to meson exchanges in the t channel. A comparison of the η -photoproduction cross-sections with SAID and MAID as well as with a partial-wave analysis
performed on our data in combination with other data sets shows good agreement. The Bonn-Gatchina partial-wave analysis suggests
that the largest contribution to η photoproduction for energies below 3GeV proceeds via three resonances, the well-known N(1535)S
11 , via N(1720)P
13 , and a newly suggested N(2070)D

Photoproduction of π0-mesons was studied with the Crystal-Barrel detector at ELSA for incident energies from 300MeV to 3GeV. Differential cross-sections
dσ/dΩ, dσ/dt, and the total cross-section are presented. For E
γ < 3GeV, the angular distributions agree well with the SAID parametrization. At photon energies above 1.5GeV, a strong forward
peaking indicates t-channel exchange to be the dominant process. The rapid variations of the cross-section with energy and angle indicate production
of resonances. An interpretation of the data within the Bonn-Gatchina partial-wave analysis is briefly discussed. 相似文献

Angular distributions in the final state of π0η photoproduction on nucleons are considered. As a formal base the familiar isobar model is used in which the π0ηN state is a product of the resonance decay into ηΔ(1232) and πS
11(1535) channels. One of the principal assumptions used is that in the actual energy region the reaction is dominated by a
single resonance state. The developed formalism can serve as a tool for testing spin and parity of that resonance. 相似文献

Partial-wave amplitudes for production and decay of baryon resonances are constructed in the framework of the operator expansion method. The approach is fully relativistically invariant and allows us to perform combined analyses of different reactions imposing directly analyticity and unitarity constraints. All formulas are given explicitly in the form used by the Crystal Barrel Collaboration in the (partly forthcoming) analyses of the electro-, photo- and pion-induced meson production data. 相似文献

The beam-helicity asymmetry has been measured simultaneously for the reactions
p→epγ and
p→epπ
0 in the Δ(1232)-resonance region at Q
2 = 0.35(GeV/c)2. The experiment was performed at MAMI with a longitudinally polarized beam and an out-of-plane detection of the proton. The
results are compared with calculations based on dispersion relations for virtual Compton scattering and with the MAID model
for pion electroproduction. There is an overall good agreement between experiment and theoretical calculations. The remaining
discrepancies may be ascribed to an imperfect parametrization of some γ
(*)
N→πN multipoles, mainly contributing to the non-resonant background. The beam-helicity asymmetry in both channels (γ and π
0) shows a good sensitivity to these multipoles and should allow future improvement in their parametrization. 相似文献

The reaction γp → pπ0η has been studied with the CBELSA detector at the tagged photon beam of the Bonn electron stretcher facility. The reaction
shows contributions from Δ+(1232)η , N(1535)+π0 and pa

The relativistic amplitudes of pion photoproduction are evaluated by dispersion relations at t = const. The imaginary parts of the amplitudes are taken from the MAID model covering the absorption spectrum up to center-of-mass
energies W = 2.2GeV. For sub-threshold kinematics the amplitudes are expanded in powers of the two independent variables ν and t related to energy and momentum transfer. Subtracting the loop corrections from this power series allows one to determine
the counter terms of covariant baryon chiral perturbation theory. The proposed continuation of the amplitudes into the unphysical
region provides a unique framework to derive the low-energy constants to any given order as well as an estimate of the higher-order
terms by global properties of the absorption spectrum. 相似文献

To determine nonspherical angular-momentum amplitudes in hadrons at long ranges (low Q2), data were taken for the p(ˉe, e'p)π0 reaction in the Δ region at Q
2 = 0.060 (GeV/c)2 utilizing the magnetic spectrometers of the A1 Collaboration at MAMI. The results for the dominant transition magnetic dipole
amplitude and the quadrupole to dipole ratios at W = 1232 MeV are
, Re(
)%, and Re(
)%. These disagree with predictions of constituent quark models but are in reasonable agreement with lattice calculations
with nonlinear (chiral) pion mass extrapolations, with chiral effective field theory, and with dynamical models with pion
cloud effects. These results confirm the dominance, and general Q2 variation, of the pionic contribution at large distances. 相似文献

We derive a method to calculate the multi-channel K -matrix applicable to a broad class of models in which mesons linearly couple to the quark core. The method is used to calculate
pion scattering amplitudes in the energy region of low-lying P11 and P33 resonances. A good agreement with experimental data
is achieved if in addition to the elastic channel we include the
and
N (
channels where the -meson models the correlated two-pion decay. We solve the integral equation for the K -matrix in the approximation of separable kernels; it yields a sizable increase of the widths of the (1232) and the N(1440) resonances compared to the bare quark values. 相似文献
