The dependence of the 1H spin-lattice relaxation time on the magnetic field strength has been determined for linear and cross-linked polyisoprene for Larmor frequencies between 5 kHz and 20 MHz. Universal power-law relations are found for all temperatures and cross-link densities under investigation and are compared to published results of rotating-frame experiments on similar natural rubber samples. The shape of the individual dispersion functions can be superposed into a master curve using appropriate shift factors. While addition of filler particles even at large weight fractions has only a minor effect on the relaxation times, uniaxial deformation and swelling are demonstrated to alter the molecular dynamics significantly.  相似文献

The memory effect upon glassification is studied in the glass-to-rubber transition of vulcanized rubber with the strain as a controlling parameter. A phenomenological model is proposed, taking the history of the temperature and the strain into account, by which the experimental results are interpreted. The data and the model demonstrate that the glassy state memorizes the time course of strain upon glassification, not as a single parameter but as the history itself. The data also show that the effect of irreversible deformation in the glassy state is beyond the scope of the present model.  相似文献

A modified single-point imaging (SPI) technique using a variable phase encoding interval is proposed. This method is based on the minimization of the phase encoding interval for further signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) optimization. This is particularly beneficial when the maximum gradient amplitude limits an optimal phase encoding interval, and the resulting SNR suffers from T(2)-related signal attenuation. Theoretical calculation of the SNR and simulation of the point spread function (PSF) for the different experimental parameters are presented. Experiments using a rubber sample (T(2)* approximately 73 micros) and a tooth (bi-exponential relaxation: T(2,1)*=111 micros and T(2,1)*=872 micros) showed a significant increase in SNR (>3 and >2, respectively) when compared with images acquired with conventional SPI.  相似文献

The water uptake process in commercial type particles of zeolite 4A has been studied using a single-point MRI method. True proton density, T1, T2, and T*2 relaxation times were obtained with submillimetric resolution, overcoming the restrictions of short T*2 signals. The molecular mobility in nonequilibrium conditions has been characterized by relaxation time mapping. A clear reduction of the water sorption rate was observed by comparing MRI profiles of a loosely packed bed and gravimetric measurements of spread particles from the same sieved zeolite batch.  相似文献

Methyl-methine linkages of Novolac, a commercially available t-butylphenol acetylene condensed (TBPA) resin, have been identified by recognition of pyrolysis pathways using pyrolysis-gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (Py-GC/mS) in vulcanized rubber. The diagnostic mass spectrum of t-butylphenol with methyl-methine linkages between phenolic rings was observed at m/z 192, corresponding to 4-t-butyl-2-ethyl-6-methylphenol. Other molecular ions were observed at m/z 178, 164, and 150 in the characteristic pyrolyzates. The ion at m/z 192 in the TBPA resin was observed to be characteristic for methyl-methine linkages between the phenolic groups, and the analytical pyrolysis-GC/mS method was thus able to identify the resin at low levels in vulcanized rubber. Vulcanized ethylene propylene diene polymethylene (EPDM) rubber surface was treated in a radio frequency capacitatively coupled low pressure argon/oxygen plasma to improve adhesion with compounded natural rubber (NR) during co-vulcanization. The plasma modified surfaces were analyzed by means of contact angle measurement, surface energy, attenuated total reflection-infrared spectroscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy, energy dispersive X-ray sulfur mapping and atomic force microscopy. Several experimental variables such as plasma power, length of exposure time and composition of the argon-oxygen gas mixture were considered. It was delineated that plasma treatment changed both surface composition and roughness, and consequently increased peel strength. The change in surface composition was mainly ascribed to the formation of C-O and -CO functional groups on the vulcanized surfaces. A maximum of 98% improvement in peel strength was observed after plasma treatment.  相似文献

The boundary element method (BEM) is a useful tool in diffuse optical imaging (DOI) when modelling large optical regions whose parameters are piecewise constant, but are computationally expensive. We present here an acceleration technique, the single-level fast multipole method, for a highly lossy medium. The enhanced practicability of the BEM in DOI is demonstrated through test examples on single-layer problems, where order of magnitude reduction factors on solution time are achieved and on a realistic three-layer model of the neonatal head. Our experimental results agree very closely with theoretical predictions of computational complexity.  相似文献

The single-point (SP) velocity statistics are investigated in forced and decaying two-dimensional turbulence in a flowing soap film. It is shown that the probability distribution functions (PDF) in both cases deviate from a Gaussian distribution, which is normally anticipated in turbulent fluid flows. In the forced turbulence case, the tail of the SP velocity PDF decays faster than Gaussian (termed the sub-Gaussian) and can be correlated with the forcing statistics on small scales. In the decaying-turbulence case, the SP velocity PDF evolves from a sub-Gaussian to a super-Gaussian behavior as a function of time. However, in all times, the locally averaged vorticity remains normally distributed. While our forced turbulence data may be explained by a recent theory proposed by Falkovich et al., the decaying-turbulence data remain unexplained.  相似文献

<正>By analyzing the error distribution rule of the boundary recursive reconstruction algorithm in controlled micro-scanning,a sub-pixel image processing algorithm is proposed to reduce the error.The gray statistical principle is used in the algorithm to optimize the error and acquire the sub-pixel image that approximates the original image.The simulation result shows that the effect of this algorithm is better than the oversample and simple boundary recursive algorithm(BRA),and it results in a good effect both in those of visible light and infrared imaging systems.Therefore,the application of this algorithm will enhance the performance of optoelectronic imaging systems.  相似文献

在磁共振成像设备中,为了消除目标区域内的高阶谐波磁场分量,传统方法采用无源匀场,但该方法匀场精度较低,针对性较差,适用于全局匀场,而有源匀场则可以通过优化线圈分布来产生所需要的特定的磁场分布.但是,由于匀场线圈线型的复杂度会随着线圈阶数的增加而增加,难以满足设计需要,因此本文提出了一种用于磁共振成像超导匀场线圈系统的多变量非线性优化设计方法.该方法基于边界元方法,将匀场线圈所产生的磁场与目标磁场之间的偏差作为目标函数,线匝间距、线圈半径等作为约束条件,通过非线性优化算法,得到满足设计要求的线圈分布.通过一个中心磁场为0.5 T的开放式双平面磁共振成像超导轴向匀场线圈的设计案例,说明本方法具有计算效率高、灵活性好的特点.  相似文献

It is well known that one-dimensional (1D) q-space imaging allows retrieval of structural information at cellular resolution. Here we demonstrate by simulation that boundary morphology of structured materials can be derived from 2D q-space mapping. Based on a finite-difference model for restricted diffusion, 2D q-space maps obtained from water diffusion inside apertures at various levels of asperity were simulated. The results indicate that the observed ring patterns (diffraction minima) reveal the boundary profiles of the apertures but become blurred in the case of significant variation in aperture size. For uniform size distribution of apertures, a quantitative measure of surface roughness can be established by means of spatial autocorrelation analysis. The results suggest that 2D q-space imaging may allow probing of the boundary morphology of structured materials and possibly biological cells.  相似文献

For the 2 × 2 nonuniform micro-scanning, of which the interframe displacement is no longer equivalent to accurate half-pixel, a sub-pixel processing algorithm based on boundary recursion and error optimization is proposed in this paper. Boundary recursive technique is introduced to solve the ill-posed problem in the process of nonuniform micro-scanning sub-pixel image reconstruction, but the manually predefined boundary values in boundary recursion inevitably result in error. Aiming at eliminating the error in boundary recursion, error optimization based on gray statistical principle is used in this paper. All the simulation results and experiment data show that the algorithm proposed in this paper can realize accurate sub-pixel imaging and improve image resolution. The algorithm is robust, simple and effective, and it is hopeful to be used in actual system.  相似文献

A series of molecular dynamics simulations was performed on a bicrystal to which a fixed shear rate was applied parallel to the boundary plane. Under some conditions, grain boundary motion is coupled to the relative tangential motion of the two grains. In order to investigate the generality of this type of coupled shear/boundary motion, simulations were performed for both special (low Σ) and general (non-Σ) [010] tilt boundaries over a wide range of grain boundary inclinations. The data point to the existence of two critical stresses: one for coupled shear/boundary motion and the other for grain boundary sliding. For the non-Σ boundaries, the critical stress for coupled shear/boundary motion is typically smaller than that for sliding; coupled shear/boundary motion occurs for all inclinations. For Σ5 boundaries, for which the critical stress is smaller and depends on boundary inclination, coupled shear/boundary motion occurs for some, but not all inclinations.  相似文献

The main cause of degradation and breakdown in silicon rubber (SIR) is electrical treeing. Based on a series of experiments, this paper discusses the morphology of the electrical trees. The types of morphology of electrical trees in SIR are concluded. The effective factors of the tree initial type are explored. And the propagation characteristics are also studied through long-term electrical tree ageing experiments. These results are also compared with the electrical trees occurred in on-site cable accessories and those in PE which are more familiar to researchers. Based on those experiment results, an explanatory mechanism is proposed.  相似文献

The grain boundary diffusion in a binary system which exhibits a grain boundary phase transition is considered in the framework of Fisher's model. The kinetic law of the growth of the grain boundary phase and the distribution of the diffusant near the grain boundary are calculated. The method of determining of the concentration dependence of the grain boundary diffusion coefficient from the experimentally measured penetration profiles of the diffusant along the grain boundaries is suggested. The experimental results on Zn diffusion in Fe(Si) bicrystals, Ni diffusion in Cu bicrystals and grain boundary grooving in Al in the presence of liquid In are discussed in light of the suggested model.  相似文献

The temperature field inside a vibrating rubber solid cylinder is investigated. The rubber cylinder, a specimen of a vibration isolator rubber (Neoprene GR), is subjected to a repeatedly cyclic compressive force by means of an electrodynamic shaker. In the experimental investigation the temperatures at 16 different locations inside the cylinder have been measured by means of copper-constantan thermocouples. After the estimation of the heat generated per unit volume per unit time with the help of the estimated damping and stiffness coefficients of rubber, one can attempt the solution of the heat conduction equation describing the temperature field inside the rubber specimen. The values of the temperature found from the analytical investigation compare fairly well with the experimental measurements.  相似文献

This paper reports that the nickel--silicone rubber composites with enhanced piezoresistivity were synthesized with much reduced nickel concentration. A large piezosensitivity of 0.716/kPa and a gauge factor of 600 have been obtained for a composite sample with filler-polymer ratio of 2.7:1 by weight. Measurements of resistance as a function of uniaxial force reveal that the piezoresistance arises predominantly from the internal heterogeneity of the material and the effect of geometrical changes of samples under pressure is neglectably small. The nonlinear current--voltage characteristic of the composite depends strongly on the filler content, the initial compression and the electrical current flowing in the sample. Ohmic behaviour has been observed only in the highly compressed samples. The breakdown strength decreases with increasing filler content of the composite. Both I-V and R-f characteristics indicates that the resistivity of the composites decreases with electrical field, suggesting that the composite may also be used to make voltage sensitive resistors for protecting circuits. All the experimental results favour a quantum tunnelling mechanism of conductivity. It finds that the concept `negative resistance', often used to describe the phenomena that current decreases with increasing voltage, is not appropriate and should be avoided.  相似文献
