The three novel, multi-nickel-substituted heteropolytungstates [Ni(6)As(3)W(24)O(94)(H(2)O)(2)](17)(-) (1), [Ni(3)Na(H(2)O)(2)(AsW(9)O(34))(2)](11)(-) (2), and [Ni(4)Mn(2)P(3)W(24)O(94)(H(2)O)(2)](17)(-) (3) have been synthesized and characterized by IR, elemental analysis, electrochemistry, and magnetic studies. Single-crystal X-ray analysis was carried out on Na(16.5)Ni(0.25)[Ni(6)As(3)W(24)O(94)(H(2)O)(2)].54H(2)O, which crystallizes in the triclinic system, space group P1, with a = 17.450(4) A, b = 17.476(4) A, c = 22.232(4) A, alpha = 85.73(3) degrees, beta = 89.74(3) degrees, gamma = 84.33(3) degrees, and Z = 2, Na(11)[Ni(3)Na(H(2)O)(2)(AsW(9)O(34))(2)].30.5H(2)O, which crystallizes in the triclinic system, space group P1, with a = 12.228(2) A, b = 16.743(3) A, c = 23.342(5) A, alpha = 78.50(3) degrees, beta = 80.69(3) degrees, gamma = 78.66(3) degrees, and Z = 2, and Na(17)[Ni(4)Mn(2)P(3)W(24)O(94)(H(2)O)(2)].50.5H(2)O, which crystallizes in the monoclinic system, space group P2(1)/c, with a = 17.540(4) A, b = 22.303(5) A, c = 35.067(7) A, beta = 95.87(3) A, and Z = 4. Polyanion 1 consists of two B-alpha-(Ni(3)AsW(9)O(40)) Keggin moieties linked via a unique AsW(6)O(16) fragment, leading to a banana-shaped structure with C(2)(v)() symmetry. The mixed-metal tungstophosphate 3 is isostructural with 1. Polyanion 2 consists of two lacunary B-alpha-[AsW(9)O(34)](9)(-) Keggin moieties linked via three nickel(II) centers and a sodium ion. Electrochemical studies show that 1-3 exhibit a unique and reproducible voltammetric pattern and that all three compounds are stable in a large pH range. An investigation of the magnetic properties of 1-3 indicates that the exchange interactions within the trimetal clusters are ferromagnetic. However, for 1 and 3 intra- and intermolecular interactions between different trinuclear clusters are also present.  相似文献

The novel dimeric germanotungstates [M(4)(H(2)O)(2)(GeW(9)O(34))(2)](12)(-) (M = Mn(2+), Cu(2+), Zn(2+), Cd(2+)) have been synthesized and characterized by IR spectroscopy, elemental analysis, magnetic measurements, and (183)W-NMR spectroscopy. X-ray single-crystal analyses were carried out on Na(12)[Mn(4)(H(2)O)(2)(GeW(9)O(34))(2)].38H(2)O (Na(12)()-1), which crystallizes in the monoclinic system, space group P2(1)/n, with a = 13.0419(8) A, b = 17.8422(10) A, c = 21.1626(12) A, beta = 93.3120(10) degrees, and Z = 2; Na(11)Cs(2)[Cu(4)(H(2)O)(2)(GeW(9)O(34))(2)]Cl.31H(2)O (Na(11)()Cs-2) crystallizes in the triclinic system, space group P, with a = 12.2338(17) A, b = 12.3833(17) A, c = 15.449(2) A, alpha = 100.041(2) degrees, beta = 97.034(2) degrees, gamma = 101.153(2) degrees, and Z = 1; Na(12)[Zn(4)(H(2)O)(2)(GeW(9)O(34))(2)].32H(2)O (Na(12)()-3) crystallizes in the triclinic system, space group P, with a = 11.589(3) A, b = 12.811(3) A, c = 17.221(4) A, alpha = 97.828(6) degrees, beta = 106.169(6) degrees, gamma = 112.113(5) degrees, and Z = 1; Na(12)[Cd(4)(H(2)O)(2)(GeW(9)O(34))(2)].32.2H(2)O (Na(12)()-4) crystallizes also in the triclinic system, space group P, with a = 11.6923(17) A, b = 12.8464(18) A, c = 17.616(2) A, alpha = 98.149(3) degrees, beta = 105.677(3) degrees, gamma = 112.233(2) degrees, and Z = 1. The polyanions consist of two lacunary B-alpha-[GeW(9)O(34)](10)(-) Keggin moieties linked via a rhomblike M(4)O(16) (M = Mn, Cu, Zn, Cd) group leading to a sandwich-type structure. (183)W-NMR studies of the diamagnetic Zn and Cd derivatives indicate that the solid-state polyoxoanion structures are preserved in solution. EPR measurements on Na(12)()-1 at frequencies up to 188 GHz and temperatures down to 4 K yield a single, exchange-narrowed peak, at g(iso) = 1.9949, typical of Mn systems, and an upper limit of |D| = 20.0 mT; its magnetization studies still await further theoretical treatment. Detailed EPR studies on Na(11)()Cs-2 over temperatures down to 2 K and variable frequencies yield g( parallel ) = 2.4303 and g( perpendicular ) = 2.0567 and A( parallel ) = 4.4 mT (delocalized over the Cu(4) framework), with |D| = 12.1 mT. Magnetization studies in addition yield the exchange parameters J(1) = -11 and J(2) = -82 cm(-)(1), in agreement with the EPR studies.  相似文献

Crystal structures of three Ni(CN)(4)(2)(-) salts all with eclipsed ligands and varying axial stacking arrangements are presented. The absorption spectra of all three salts show a slight red shift in the x,y-polarizations and a large red shift in their z-polarizations upon crystallization from solution. Semiempirical ZINDO calculations provide a good model of the solid state, even with only a three-molecule segment, allowing reproduction of the red-shifting and intensity increase upon crystallization found experimentally. The modified nickel beta(s,p) bonding parameter of -5 found appropriate for Ni coordination in our previous studies of single Ni(CN)(4)(2-) planes and a helically stacked Cs(2)[Ni(CN)(4)].H(2)O crystal was changed to -3 for the more parallel-stacked Ni(CN)(4)(2-) planes in this case, while beta(d) was retained at -41. Crystal data are as follows: Na(2)[Ni(CN)(4)].3H(2)O, triclinic space group P1, a = 7.2980(10) A, b = 8.8620(10) A, c = 15.132(2) A, alpha = 89.311(5) degrees, beta = 87.326(5) degrees, gamma = 83.772(6) degrees, V = 971.8(2) A(3), T = 100 K, Z = 4, R = 0.024, R(w) = 0.064; Sr[Ni(CN)(4)].5H(2)O, monoclinic space group C2/m, a = 10.356(2) A, b = 15.272(3) A, c = 7.1331(10) A, beta = 98.548(12) degrees, V = 1115.6(3) A(3), T = 100 K, Z = 4, R = 0.024, R(w) = 0.059; Rb(2)[Ni(CN)(4)].1.05H(2)O, triclinic space group P1, a = 8.6020(10) A, b = 9.6930(10) A, c = 12.006(2) A, alpha = 92.621(6) degrees, beta = 94.263(6) degrees, gamma = 111.795(10) degrees, V = 924.0(2) A(3), T = 100 K, Z = 4, R = 0.034, R(w) = 0.067.  相似文献

Supramolecular water dimer, (H(2)O)(2), is fundamentally important. During the course of our work on polyoxometalates, we have been able to identify the existence of hydrogen-bonded, near-linear water dimers in the "sinuous" channels of an inorganic framework material, Na(3)(n)(H(2)O)(6)(n)[Al(OH)(6)Mo(6)O(18)](n)() x 2nH(2)O, 1. The three-dimensional network structure of 1 in the solid state is assembled by the Anderson type of heteropolyanions as building blocks sharing sodium cations. Vibrational spectroscopy, X-ray powder diffraction technique, TG-DSC analyses, and single-crystal X-ray structure analysis have characterized this host-guest system, 1. Crystal data for 1: triclinic space group Ponemacr;, a = 12.0618 (3) A, b = 13.1570 (4) A, c = 14.1563 (4) A, alpha = 80.7850 (10) degrees, beta = 75.2660 (10) degrees, gamma = 68.9210 (10) degrees, and Z = 3.  相似文献

Three novel polyoxometalate derivatives decorated by transition metal complexes have been hydrothermally synthesized. Compound 1 consists of [PMo(VI)(6)Mo(V)(2)V(IV)(8)O(44)[Co (2,2'-bipy)(2)(H(2)O)](4)](3+) polyoxocations and [PMo(VI)(4-)Mo(V)(4)V(IV)(8)O(44)[Co(2,2'-bipy)(2)(H(2)O)](2)](3-) polyoxoanions, which are both built on mixed-metal tetracapped [PMo(8)V(8)O(44)] subunits covalently bonded to four or two [Co(2,2'-bpy)(2)(H(2)O)](2+) clusters via terminal oxo groups of the capping V atoms. Compound 2 is built on [PMo(VI)(8)V(IV)(6)O(42)[Cu(I)(phen)](2)](5-) clusters constructed from mixed-metal bicapped [PMo(VI)(8)V(IV)(6)O(42)](7-) subunits covalently bonded to two [Cu(phen)](+) fragments in the similar way to 1. The structure of 3 is composed of [PMo(VI)(9)Mo(V)(3)O(40)](6-) units capped by two divalent Ni atoms via four bridging oxo groups. The crystal data for these are the following: C(120)H(126)Co(6)Mo(16)N(24)O(103)P(2)V(16) (1), triclinic P1, a = 15.6727(2) A, b = 17.3155(3) A, c = 19.5445(2) A, alpha = 86.1520(1) degrees, beta = 81.2010(1) degrees, gamma = 63.5970(1) degrees, Z = 1; C(120)H(85)Cu(6-)Mo(8)N(20)O(44)PV(6) (2), triclinic P1, a = 14.565(4) A, b = 15.899(3) A, c = 16.246(4) A, alpha = 116.289(2) degrees, beta = 103.084(2) degrees, gamma = 94.796(2) degrees, Z = 1; C(60)H(40)Mo(12)N(10)Ni(3)O(40)P (3), monoclinic P2(1)/c, a = 14.804(3) A, b = 22.137(4) A, c = 25.162(5) A, alpha = 90 degrees, beta = 98.59(3) degrees, gamma = 90 degrees, Z = 4.  相似文献

The novel nickel-substituted, dimeric phosphotungstate [Ni(3)Na(H(2)O)(2)(PW(9)O(34))(2)](11-) (1) has been synthesized and characterized by IR spectroscopy, elemental analysis, and electrochemistry. X-ray single-crystal analysis was carried out on Na(11)[Ni(3)Na(H(2)O)(2)(PW(9)O(34))(2)].21.25H(2)O, which crystallizes in the triclinic system, space group P1, with a = 12.2467(6) A, b = 16.6031(7) A, c = 22.4017(12) A, alpha = 73.9870(10) degrees, beta = 87.6060(10) degrees, gamma = 79.344(2) degrees, and Z = 2. The polyanion consists of two lacunary B-alpha-[PW(9)O(34)](9-) Keggin moieties linked via three nickel(II) centers and a sodium ion. The structure of 1 is composed of two fused Keggin fragments that represent different Baker-Figgis isomers (alpha- vs beta-type). Electrochemical studies show that 1 exhibits a stable and reproducible voltammetric pattern, with a first wave featuring a chemically reversible four-electron/four-proton process. An investigation of the magnetic properties indicates that the three nickel centers exhibit ferromagnetic exchange interaction.  相似文献

A series of trigonal bipyramidal pentanuclear complexes involving the alkoxo-diazine ligands poap and p3oap, containing the M(5)[mu-O](6) core is described, which form by a strict self-assembly process. [Co(5)(poap-H)(6)](ClO(4))(4).3H(2)O (1), [Mn(5)(poap-H)(6)](ClO(4))(4).3.5CH(3)OH.H(2)O (2), [Mn(5)(p3oap-H)(6)](ClO(4))(4).CH(3)CH(2)OH.3H(2)O (3), and [Zn(5)(poap-H)(6)](ClO(4))(4).2.5H(2)O (4) are homoleptic pentanuclear complexes, where there is an exact match between the coordination requirements of the five metal ions in the cluster, and the available coordination pockets in the polytopic ligand. [Zn(4)(poap)(poap-H)(3)(H(2)O)(4)] (NO(3))(5).1.5H(2)O (5) is a square [2 x 2] grid with a Zn(4)[mu-O](4) core, and appears to result from the presence of NO(3), which is thought to be a competing ligand in the self-assembly. X-ray structures are reported for 1, 4, and 5. 1 crystallized in the monoclinic system, space group P2(1)/n with a = 13.385(1) A, b = 25.797(2) A, c = 28.513(3) A, beta = 98.704(2) degrees, and Z = 4. 4 crystallized in the triclinic system, space group P1 with a = 13.0897(9) A, b = 18.889(1) A, c = 20.506(2) A, alpha = 87.116(1) degrees, beta = 74.280(2) degrees, gamma = 75.809(2) degrees, and Z = 2. 5 crystallized in the monoclinic system, space group P2(1)/n with a = 14.8222(7) A, b = 21.408(1) A, c = 21.6197(9) A, beta = 90.698(1) degrees, and Z = 4. Compounds 1-3 exhibit intramolecular antiferromagnetic coupling.  相似文献

A series of [3 x 3] Mn(II)(9), antiferromagnetically coupled, alkoxide-bridged, square grid complexes, derived from a group of "tritopic" dihydrazide ligands, is described. The outer ring of eight Mn(II) centers in the grids is isolated magnetically from the central Mn(II) ion, leading to an S = 0 ground state for the ring, and an S = 5/2 ground state overall in each case. Exchange in the Mn(II)(8) ring can be represented by a 1D chain exchange model. Rich electrochemistry displayed by these systems has led to the production of Mn(II)/Mn(III) mixed-oxidation-state grids by both electrochemical and chemical means. Structures are reported for [Mn(9)(2poap)(6)](C(2)N(3))(6).10H(2)O (1), [Mn(9)(2poap)(6)](2)[Mn(NCS)(4)(H(2)O)](2)(NCS)(8).10H(2)O (2), [Mn(9)(2poapz)(6)](NO(3))(6).14.5H(2)O (3), [Mn(9)(2popp)(6)](NO(3))(6).12H(2)O (4), [Mn(9)(2pomp)(6)](MnCl(4))(2)Cl(2).2CH(3)OH.7H(2)O (5), and [Mn(9)(Cl2poap)(6)](ClO(4))(9).7H(2)O (6). Compound 1 crystallized in the tetragonal system, space group P4(2)/n, with a = 21.568(1) A, c = 16.275(1) A, and Z = 2. Compound 2 crystallized in the triclinic system, space group P, with a = 25.043(1) A, b = 27.413(1) A, c = 27.538(2) A, alpha = 91.586(2) degrees, beta = 113.9200(9) degrees, gamma = 111.9470(8) degrees, and Z = 2. Compound 3 crystallized in the triclinic system, space group P, with a = 18.1578(12) A, b = 18.2887(12) A, c = 26.764(2) A, alpha = 105.7880(12) degrees, beta = 101.547(2) degrees, gamma = 91.1250(11) degrees, and Z = 2. Compound 4 crystallized in the tetragonal system, space group P4(1)2(1)2, with a = 20.279(1) A, c = 54.873(6) A, and Z = 4. Compound 5 crystallized in the tetragonal system, space group I, with a = 18.2700(2) A, c = 26.753(2) A, and Z = 2. Compound 6 crystallized in the triclinic system, space group P, with a = 19.044(2) A, b = 19.457(2) A, c = 23.978(3) A, alpha = 84.518(3) degrees, beta = 81.227(3) degrees, gamma = 60.954(2) degrees, and Z = 2. Preliminary surface studies on Au(111), with a Mn(II) grid complex derived from a sulfur-derivatized ligand, indicate monolayer coverage via gold-sulfur interactions, and the potential for information storage at high-density levels.  相似文献

Two new compounds containing the title diphosphono-polyoxometalate anion and diprotonated ethylenediamine (enH(2)) or piperazine (ppzH(2)) countercations have been hydrothermally synthesized and structurally characterized ((enH(2))(4)[Mo(7)O(16)(O(3)PCH(2)PO(3))(3)].7H(2)O, triclinic, P(-)1, Z = 2, a = 10.3455(7) A, b = 13.136(1) A, and c = 20.216(3) A, alpha = 93.247(6) degrees, beta = 96.434(6) degrees, and gamma = 111.900(6) degrees; (ppzH(2))(4)[Mo(7)O(16)(O(3)PCH(2)PO(3))(3)].8H(2)O, triclinic, P(-)1, Z = 2, a = 13.255(2) A, b = 13.638(2) A, and c = 16.874(4) A, alpha = 93.20(2) degrees, beta = 101.27(2) degrees, and gamma = 105.87(1) degrees). The anion is a ring of three pairs of edge-sharing octahedra of Mo(V)O(6) (with Mo(V)-Mo(V) bonds) that share corners with each other. The diphosphonate groups connect the pairs at the periphery. The ring is "capped" by a tetrahedron of Mo(VI)O(4). According to magnetic measurements, the compounds are diamagnetic.  相似文献

Interaction of the lacunary [alpha-XW(9)O(33)](9-) (X = As(III), Sb(III)) with Fe(3+) ions in acidic, aqueous medium leads to the formation of dimeric polyoxoanions, [Fe(4)(H(2)O)(10)(beta-XW(9)O(33))(2)](6-) (X = As(III), Sb(III)) in high yield. X-ray single-crystal analyses were carried out on Na(6)[Fe(4)(H(2)O)(10)(beta-AsW(9)O(33))(2)] x 32H(2)O, which crystallizes in the monoclinic system, space group C2/m, with a = 20.2493(18) A, b = 15.2678(13) A, c = 16.0689(14) A, beta = 95.766(2) degrees, and Z = 2; Na(6)[Fe(4)(H(2)O)(10)(beta-SbW(9)O(33))(2)] x 32H(2)O is isomorphous with a = 20.1542(18) A, b = 15.2204(13) A, c = 16.1469(14) A, and beta = 95.795(2) degrees. The selenium and tellurium analogues are also reported, [Fe(4)(H(2)O)(10)(beta-XW(9)O(33))(2)](4-) (X = Se(IV), Te(IV)). They are synthesized from sodium tungstate and a source of the heteroatom as precursors. X-ray single-crystal analysis was carried out on Cs(4)[Fe(4)(H(2)O)(10)(beta-SeW(9)O(33))(2)] x 21H(2)O, which crystallizes in the triclinic system, space group P macro 1, with a = 12.6648(10) A, b = 12.8247(10) A, c = 16.1588(13) A, alpha = 75.6540(10) degrees, beta = 87.9550(10) degrees, gamma = 64.3610(10) gamma, and Z = 1. All title polyanions consist of two (beta-XW(9)O(33)) units joined by a central pair and a peripheral pair of Fe(3+) ions leading to a structure with idealized C(2h) symmetry. It was also possible to synthesize the Cr(III) derivatives [Cr(4)(H(2)O)(10)(beta-XW(9)O(33))(2)](6-) (X = As(III), Sb(III)), the tungstoselenates(IV) [M(4)(H(2)O)(10)(beta-SeW(9)O(33))(2)]((16)(-)(4n)-) (M(n+) = Cr(3+), Mn(2+), Co(2+), Ni(2+), Zn(2+), Cd(2+), and Hg(2+)), and the tungstotellurates(IV) [M(4)(H(2)O)(10)(beta-TeW(9)O(33))(2)]((16-4n)-) (M(n+) = Cr(3+), Mn(2+), Co(2+), Ni(2+), Cu(2+), Zn(2+), Cd(2+), and Hg(2+)), as determined by FTIR. The electrochemical properties of the iron-containing species were also studied. Cyclic voltammetry and controlled potential coulometry aided in distinguishing between Fe(3+) and W(6+) waves. By variation of pH and scan rate, it was possible to observe the stepwise reduction of the Fe(3+) centers.  相似文献

The ligand N,N'-diethyl-2,3-dihydroxyterephthalamide (ETAM) has been characterized as a chelator for Zr(IV), Ce(IV), and Th(IV). The K(+) salts of the complexes [Zr(ETAM)(4)](4)(-), [Ce(ETAM)(4)](4)(-), and [Th(ETAM)(4)](4)(-) were prepared in a MeOH solution containing H(2)ETAM, the corresponding M(acac)(4), and 4 equiv of KOH. Single-crystal X-ray diffraction analyses are reported for K(4)[Zr(ETAM)(4)] (C2/c, Z = 8, a = 27.576(3) A, b = 29.345(3) A, c = 15.266(2) A, alpha = 90 degrees, beta = 118.688(4) degrees, gamma = 90 degrees ), [Me(3)BnN](4)[Th(ETAM)(4)] (P, Z = 2, a = 13.7570(3) A, b = 13.9293(3) A, c = 26.9124(6) A, alpha = 99.941(1) degrees, beta = 94.972(1) degrees, gamma = 103.160(1) degrees ), and the dimeric (NMe(4))(4)[Th(ETAM)(3)MeOH](2) (P2(1)/c, Z = 4, a = 18.2603(9) A, b = 18.5002(9) A, c = 19.675(1) A, beta = 117.298(1) degrees ). Solution thermodynamic studies were used to determine formation constants (log K(f) and esd) for Th(IV)-ETAM log K(110) =17.47(1), log K(120) = 13.23(1), log K(130) = 8.28(3), log K(140) = 6.57(6), and log beta(140) = 45.54(5). These results support the hypothesis that the terephthalamides are high-affinity chelators for the actinide(IV) ions and thus promising ligands for use in nuclear waste remediation.  相似文献

Two new bent bis(cyanophenyl)oxadiazole ligands, 2,5-bis(4-cyanophenyl)-1,3,4-oxadiazole (L7) and 2,5-bis(3-cyanophenyl)-1,3,4-oxadiazole (L8), were synthesized. The coordination chemistry of these ligands with various Ag(I) salts has been investigated. Seven new coordination polymers, namely, {[Ag(L7)(H2O)]ClO4}n) (1) (triclinic, P1, a = 9.342(4) A, b = 9.889(4) A, c = 10.512(4) A, alpha = 68.978(6) degrees, beta = 78.217(6) degrees, gamma = 81.851(7) degrees, Z = 2), {[Ag(L7)]SO3CF3}n (2) (monoclinic, P2(1)/n, a = 7.559(2) A, b = 23.739(6) A, c = 10.426(3) A, beta = 108.071(4) degrees, Z = 4), {[Ag(L8)]BF4 x 0.5(C6H6) x H2O}n (3) (triclinic, P1, a = 7.498(3) A, b = 10.649(4) A, c = 13.673(5) A, alpha = 98.602(5) degrees, beta = 100.004(5) degrees, gamma =110.232(5) degrees, Z = 2), {[Ag(L8)SbF6] x H2O}n (4) (triclinic, P1, a = 8.2621(9) A, b = 10.6127(12) A, c = 13.3685(15) A, alpha = 98.012(2) degrees, beta = 106.259(2) degrees, gamma = 112.362(2) degrees, Z = 2), {[Ag2(L8)2(SO3CF3)] x H2O}n (5) (triclinic, P1, a = 10.713(4) A, b = 13.449(5) A, c = 15.423(5) A, alpha = 65.908(5) degrees, beta = 74.231(5) degrees, gamma = 83.255(5) degrees, Z = 2), {[Ag2(L8)(C6H6)(ClO4)] x ClO4}n (6) (monoclinic, P2(1)/n, a = 6.9681(17) A, b = 20.627(5) A, c = 17.437(4) A, beta = 95.880(4) degrees, Z = 4), and {[Ag2(L8)(H2PO4)2]}n (7) (triclinic, P1, a = 7.956(2) A, b = 9.938(3) A, c = 14.242(4) A, alpha = 106.191(4) degrees, beta = 97.322(4) degrees, gamma = 107.392(4) degrees, Z = 1), were obtained by the combination of L7 and L8 with Ag(I) salts in a benzene/methylene chloride mixed-solvent system and fully characterized by infrared spectroscopy, elemental analysis, and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. In addition, the luminescence and electrical conductance properties of compounds 1-6 and the host-guest chemistry of compound 3 were investigated.  相似文献

A series of one-dimensional arrays of lanthanide-transition metal complexes has been prepared and characterized. These complexes, [(DMF)(10)Ln(2)[Ni(CN)(4)](3)](infinity), crystallize as linear single-strand arrays (structural type A) (Ln = Sm, 1a; Eu, 2a) or double-strand arrays (structural type B) (Ln = Sm, 1b; Eu, 2b) depending upon the conditions chosen, and they are interconvertible. The single-strand type A structure can be converted to the double-strand type B structure. When the 1b and 2b type B crystals are completely dissolved in DMF, their infrared spectra are identical to the infrared spectra of 1a and 2a type A crystals dissolved in DMF. These solutions produce type A crystals initially. It is believed that formation of the type A structure is kinetically favored while the type B structure is thermodynamically favored for lanthanide-nickel complexes 1 and 2. On the other hand the complex [(DMF)(10)Y(2)[Pd(CN)(4)](3)](infinity), 3, appears to crystallize only as the double-strand array (type B). The complexes [(DMF)(12)Ce(2)[Ni(CN)(4)](3)](infinity), 4, and [(DMF)(12)Ce(2)[Pd(CN)(4)](3)](infinity), 5, crystallize as a new type of single-strand array (structural type C). This structural type is a zigzag chain array. The "anti-crown" B-hexamethyl 9-mercuracarborand-3 (1) was shown to complex halide ions (I-, Br-, Cl-) in an eta(3)-sandwich fashion. Symmetry-allowed interactions of the filled halide ion p-orbitals and the corresponding empty mercury p-orbitals result in three equivalent p(Hg)-p(halide)-p(Hg) three-center two-electron bonds and a sandwich structure. The molecular structures of [Li.(H(2)O)(4)][1(2).I].2CH(3)CN, MePPh(3)[1(2).Br].((CH(3))(2)CO)(2).(H(2)O)(2), and PPN[1(2).Cl] were determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction studies. Compound [Li.(H(2)O)(4)][1(2).I].2CH(3)CN crystallized in the triclinic space group P-1, a = 13.312(8) A, b = 13.983(9) A, c = 13.996(9) A, alpha = 61.16(2) degrees, beta = 82.34(2) degrees, gamma = 86.58(2) degrees, V = 4365(2) A(3), Z = 1, R = 0.063, and R(w) = 0.171. The novel dimeric silicotungstates [[SiM2W9O34(H2O)]2]12- (M = Mn2+, Cu2+, Zn2+) have been synthesized and characterized by IR spectroscopy, elemental analysis, and magnetic measurements. X-ray single-crystal analyses were carried out on K4Na6Mn[[SiMn2W9O34(H2O)]2].33H2O (1), which crystallizes in the triclinic system, space group P1, with a = 12.2376(7) A, b = 13.6764(8) A, c = 15.6177(9) A, alpha = 70.2860(10) degrees, beta = 79.9150(10) degrees, gamma = 70.2760(10) degrees, and Z = 1; K3Na5[[SiCu2W9O34(H2O)]2].26H2O (2) crystallizes in the triclinic system, space group P1, with a = 11.4271(12) A, b = 12.5956(13) A, c = 15.3223(16) A, alpha = 80.456(2)degrees, beta = 76.383(2) degrees, gamma = 76.968(2) degrees, and Z = 1; K4Na6[[SiZn2W9O34(H2O)]2].34H2O (3) crystallizes also in the triclinic system, space group P1, with a = 12.2596(14) A, b = 13.2555(15) A, c = 16.2892(18) A, alpha = 96.431(2) degrees, beta = 100.944(2) degrees, gamma = 110.404(2) degrees, and Z = 1. The polyanions consist of two lacunary B-alpha-[SiW9O34]10- Keggin moieties linked via a rhomblike M4O16 (M = Mn, Cu, Zn) group leading to a sandwich-type structure. Magnetic measurements show that the central Mn4 unit in 1 exhibits antiferromagnetic (J = -1.77(5) cm(-1)) as well as weak ferromagnetic (J' = 0.08(2) cm(-1)) Mn-Mn exchange interactions. In 2 the Cu-Cu exchange interactions are antiferromagnetic (J = -0.10(2) cm(-1), J' = -0.29(2) cm(-1)).  相似文献

By choosing a suitable metal center, ligand, and solvents, we have revealed several structural transformations involving a polymer precursor. infinity 1[Co(bpdc)(H2O)2].H2O (1) was prepared by reaction of Na2bpdc and Co(NO3)2 in aqueous solution. Immersing 1 in pyridine/water solutions of (2:1) and (8:1) ratios yielded a second one-dimensional structure infinity 1[Co(bpdc)(py)2(H2O)2].2py (2) and a two-dimensional structure infinity 2[Co(bpdc)(py)2].H2O (3), respectively. After heating 1 under N2 to remove all water within the structure, the compound Co(bpdc) (IR) was obtained. When IR was immersed in solutions of pyridine/water (5:4) and in pure pyridine (in air), a third one-dimensional structure of infinity 1[Co(bpdc)(py)2(H2O)2].2py.H2O (4) and 3, respectively, were obtained. Compounds 2-4 easily transformed to 1 when immersed in water. Crystal data for 1: monoclinic, space group C2/c with a = 6.950(1), b = 31.585(6), and c = 6.226(1) A, beta = 95.84(3) degrees, Z = 4. Crystal data for 2: triclinic, space group P1 with a = 9.646(2), b = 10.352(2), and c = 17.031(3) A, alpha = 79.02(3) degrees, beta = 86.88(3) degrees, gamma = 77.16(3) degrees, Z = 2. The compound [NH(3)(CH(2))(2)NH(2)(CH(2))(2)NH(3)](2)[Mo(9)O(30)] was synthesized at 170 degrees C via hydrothermal techniques from the starting materials of Na(2)MoO(4).H(2)O, NH(2)(CH(2))(2)NH(CH(3))(2)NH(2), and H(2)O. The compound crystallizes in the space group C2/c of the monoclinic system with a = 21.308(4) A, b = 9.234(2) A, c = 19.195(4) A, beta = 120.27(3) degrees, V = 3261.9(11)A(3), Z = 4. Two novel and symmetrically related helices coexist in the centrosymmetric solid, in which the two kinds of helices appear in the left-handed and right-handed enantiomorphs, respectively. This is the first example of a helical chain structure consisting of only molybdenum-oxide building blocks. The central axis about each helical chain is a 2-fold screw axis.  相似文献

The synthesis of new dinuclear manganese(IV) complexes possessing the [Mn(IV)(2)(mu-O)(2)(mu-O(2)CMe)](3+) core and containing halide ions as terminal ligands is reported. [Mn(2)O(2)(O(2)CMe)Cl(2)(bpy)(2)](2)[MnCl(4)] (1; bpy = 2,2'-bipyridine) was prepared by sequential addition of [MnCl(3)(bpy)(H(2)O)] and (NBzEt(3))(2)[MnCl(4)] to a CH(2)Cl(2) solution of [Mn(3)O(4)(O(2)CMe)(4)(bpy)(2)]. The complex [Mn(IV)(2)O(2)(O(2)CMe)Cl(bpy)(2)(H(2)O)](NO(3))(2) (2) was obtained from a water/acetic acid solution of MnCl(2).4H(2)O, bpy, and (NH(4))(2)[Ce(NO(3))(6)], whereas the [Mn(IV)(2)O(2)(O(2)CR)X(bpy)(2)(H(2)O)](ClO(4))(2) [X = Cl(-) and R = Me (3), Et (5), or C(2)H(4)Cl (6); and X = F(-), R = Me (4)] were prepared by a slightly modified procedure that includes the addition of HClO(4). For the preparation of 4, MnF(2) was employed instead of MnCl(2).4H(2)O. [Mn(2)O(2)(O(2)CMe)Cl(2)(bpy)(2)](2)[MnCl(4)].2CH(2)Cl(2) (1.2CH(2)Cl(2)) crystallizes in the monoclinic space group C2/c with a = 21.756(2) A, b = 12.0587(7) A, c = 26.192(2) A, alpha = 90 degrees, beta = 111.443(2) degrees, gamma = 90 degrees, V = 6395.8(6) A(3), and Z = 4. [Mn(2)O(2)(O(2)CMe)Cl(H(2)O)(bpy)(2)](NO(3))(2).H(2)O (2.H(2)O) crystallizes in the triclinic space group Ponemacr; with a = 11.907(2) A, b = 12.376(2) A, c = 10.986(2) A, alpha = 108.24(1) degrees, beta = 105.85(2) degrees, gamma = 106.57(1) degrees, V = 1351.98(2) A(3), and Z = 2. [Mn(2)O(2)(O(2)CMe)Cl(H(2)O)(bpy)(2)](ClO(4))(2).MeCN (3.MeCN) crystallizes in the triclinic space group Ponemacr; with a = 11.7817(7) A, b = 12.2400(7) A, c = 13.1672(7) A, alpha = 65.537(2) degrees, beta = 67.407(2) degrees, gamma = 88.638(2) degrees, V = 1574.9(2) A(3), and Z = 2. The cyclic voltammogram (CV) of 1 exhibits two processes, an irreversible oxidation of the [MnCl(4)](2)(-) at E(1/2) approximately 0.69 V vs ferrocene and a reversible reduction at E(1/2) = 0.30 V assigned to the [Mn(2)O(2)(O(2)CMe)Cl(2)(bpy)(2)](+/0) couple (2Mn(IV) to Mn(IV)Mn(III)). In contrast, the CVs of 2 and 3 show only irreversible reduction features. Solid-state magnetic susceptibility (chi(M)) data were collected for complexes 1.1.5H(2)O, 2.H(2)O, and 3.H(2)O in the temperature range 2.00-300 K. The resulting data were fit to the theoretical chi(M)T vs T expression for a Mn(IV)(2) complex derived by use of the isotropic Heisenberg spin Hamiltonian (H = -2JS(1)S(2)) and the Van Vleck equation. The obtained fit parameters were (in the format J/g) -45.0(4) cm(-)(1)/2.00(2), -36.6(4) cm(-)(1)/1.97(1), and -39.3(4) cm(-)(1)/1.92(1), respectively, where J is the exchange interaction parameter between the two Mn(IV) ions. Thus, all three complexes are antiferromagnetically coupled.  相似文献

The nine-membered [-Cu(II)-N-N-](3) ring of trimeric copper-pyrazolato complexes provides a sturdy framework on which water is twice deprotonated in consecutive steps, forming mu(3)-OH and mu(3)-O species. In the presence of excess chlorides the mu(3)-O(H) ligand is replaced by two mu(3)-Cl ions. The interconversion of mu(3)-OH and mu(3)-O and the exchange of mu(3)-O(H) and mu(3)-Cl are reversible, and the three species involved have been structurally characterized: [PPN][Cu(3)(mu(3)-OH)(mu-pz)(3)Cl(3)(thf)].CH(2)Cl(2) (1a), monoclinic P2(1)/n, a = 10.055(2) A, b = 35.428(5) A, c = 15.153(2) A, beta = 93.802(3) degrees, V = 5386(1) A(3), Z = 4; [Bu(4)N][Cu(3)(mu(3)-OH)(mu-pz)(3)Cl(3)] (1b), triclinic P-1, a = 9.135(2) A, b = 13.631(2) A, c = 14.510(2) A, alpha = 67.393(2) degrees, beta = 87.979(2) degrees, gamma = 80.268(3) degrees, V = 1643.2(4) A(3), Z = 2; [PPN](2)[Cu(3)(mu(3)-O)(mu-pz)(3)Cl(3)] (2), monoclinic P2/c, a = 12.807(2) A, b = 13.093(2) A, c = 23.139(4) A, beta = 105.391(3) degrees, V = 3741(1) A(3), Z = 2; [PPN](2)[Cu(3)(mu(3)-Cl)(2)(mu-pz)(3)Cl(3)].0.75H(2)O.0.5CH(2)Cl(2) (3a), triclinic P-1, a = 14.042(2) A, b = 23.978(4) A, c = 25.195(4) A, alpha = 76.796(3) degrees, beta = 79.506(3) degrees, gamma = 77.629(3) degrees, V = 7988(2) A(3), Z = 4; [Bu(4)N](2)[Cu(3)(mu(3)-Cl)(2)(mu-pz)(3)Cl(3)] (3b), monoclinic C2/c, a = 17.220(2) A, b = 15.606(2) A, c = 20.133(2) A, beta = 103.057(2) degrees, V = 5270(1) A(3), Z = 4; [Et(3)NH][Cu(3)(mu(3)-OH)(mu-pz)(3)Cl(3)(pzH)] (4), triclinic P-1, a = 11.498(2) A, b = 11.499(2) A, c = 12.186(2) A, alpha = 66.475(3) degrees, beta = 64.279(3) degrees, gamma = 80.183(3) degrees, V = 1331.0(5) A(3), Z = 2.
