We establish some stability theorems for Feynman’s operational calculus in the setting where the time-ordering measures are allowed to have both continuous and discrete parts. Using perturbation theory for adjoint semigroups (a modification of sun-star calculus) we prove, in the case of infinite delay, the principle of linearized stability for nonlinear renewal equations, delay-differential equations and coupled systems of these two types of equations. Our results extend those of Diekmann et al. (1995) [13] and Diekmann et al. (2007) [14] to the case of infinite delay.  相似文献

Under geometric mixing condition, we presented asymptotic expansion of the distribution of an additive functional of a Markov or an ε-Markov process with finite autoregression including Markov type semimartingales and time series models with discrete time parameter. The emphasis is put on the use of the Malliavin calculus in place of the conditional type Cramér condition, whose verification is in most case not easy for continuous time processes without such an infinite dimensional approach. In the second part, by means of the perturbation method and the operational calculus, we proved the geometric mixing property for non-symmetric diffusion processes, and presented a sufficient condition which is easily checked in practice. Accordingly, we obtained asymptotic expansion of diffusion functionals and proved the validity of it under mild conditions, e.g., without the strong contractivity condition. We study the functional calculus for operators of strong strip type, including both a characterisation by means of weak bounded variation of the resolvent and some perturbation theory. In recent papers the authors presented their approach to Feynman’s operational calculi for a system of not necessarily commuting bounded linear operators acting on a Banach space. The central objects of the theory are the disentangling algebra, a commutative Banach algebra, and the disentangling map which carries this commutative structure into the noncommutative algebra of operators. Under assumptions concerning the growth of disentangled exponential expressions, the associated functional calculus for the system of operators is a distribution with compact support which we view as the joint spectrum of the operators with respect to the disentangling map. In this paper, the functional calculus is represented in terms of a higher-dimensional analogue of the Riesz-Dunford calculus using Clifford analysis.  相似文献

对具有变厚度夹层截顶扁锥壳的非线性稳定问题进行了研究。利用变分原理导出表层为等厚度而夹心为变厚度的夹层截顶扁锥壳的非线性稳定问题的控制方程和边界条件,采用修正迭代法求得了具有双曲型变厚度夹层截顶扁锥壳的非线性稳定性问题的解析解,得到了内边缘与一刚性中心固结而外边缘为可移夹紧固支的变厚度夹层截顶扁锥壳临界屈曲载荷的解析表达式,讨论了几何参数和物理参数对壳体屈曲行为的影响。  相似文献

A novel type of control strategy combining the fractional calculus with terminal sliding mode control called fractional terminal sliding mode control is introduced for a class of dynamical systems subject to uncertainties. A fractional-order switching manifold is proposed and the corresponding control law is formulated based on the Lyapunov stability theory to guarantee the sliding condition. The proposed fractional-order terminal sliding mode controller ensures the finite time stability of the closed-loop system. Finally, numerical simulation results are presented and compared to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.  相似文献

Although the name of Oliver Heaviside is usually associated with the foundations of operational calculus, he was in fact preceded in introducing operational methods by a number of mathematicians. Heaviside's purely operational approach was often intuitive rather than rigorous and fell into disfavour in mathematical circles, being replaced by methods involving the concept of an integral transformation. In particular, the Laplace transformation came to be adopted by applied mathematicians and engineers despite the need for the Schwartz theory of distributions to account satisfactorily for the Dirac and other impulse functions. Jan Mikusinski,? ? It is intended that an expository article on Jan Mikusinski's operational calculus by H. G. Flegg will appear in a later issue ‐ Editor. however, has returned to the earlier operational approach and, by placing operational calculus upon a rigorous algebraic basis, has provided a calculus which is more general than those based upon integral transformations, and one which includes generalized functions without recourse to any specialized external theory.

In this paper we study existence, uniqueness, and stability of nonlinear evolution equations. We develop a new type of perturbation result for a C0 semigroup in Banach space, where the nonlinear operators are not necessarily m-accretive or everywhere defined. Assuming that the semigroup has a smoothing property we obtain local existence, uniqueness and regularity results. We then establish a Liapunov theory which enables us to examine stability. To illustrate our theory several simple examples are presented.  相似文献

In this paper, a class of neutral‐type neural networks with delays in the leakage term on time scales are considered. By using the Banach fixed point theorem and the theory of calculus on time scales, some sufficient conditions are obtained for the existence and exponential stability of almost periodic solutions for this class of neural networks. The results of this paper are new and complementary to the previously known results. Finally, an example is presented to illustrate the effectiveness of our results. Atvinovskii and of the author in the area of functional calculus of closed operators on Banach spaces based on Markov and related functions as symbols. Summary Multivalued maps like orbit, limit set, prolongations etc., are an useful tool in Dynamical Systems theory. In this work we develop a calculus for multivalued maps associated with a dynamical system. Then we give general definitions of stability and attraction of a compact set with respect to a multivalued map. On the basis of our calculus, we obtain several characterizations of stability and attraction, which generalise well known classical theorems. Such a general theory is applied to total stability of diffentiable dynamical systems. The equivalence among several approaches to total stability is established.  相似文献

An operational calculus is developed that is based on convolution of polynomials in the complex plane. The final objects of study, called operators, are shown to be just formal Laurent series. This work is based on ideas of Mikusinski's operational calculus, but is much simpler, especially because no recourse is needed to the Titchmarsh convolution theorem. Lepage 2-forms appear in the variational sequence as representatives of the classes of 2-forms. In the theory of ordinary differential equations on jet bundles they are used to construct exterior differential systems associated with the equations and to study solutions, and help to solve the inverse problem of the calculus of variations: since variational equations are characterized by Lepage 2-forms that are closed. In this paper, a general setting for Lepage forms in the variational sequence is presented, and Lepage 2-forms in the theory of second-order differential equations in general and of variational equations in particular, are investigated in detail.
