On Reproducing Kernel Hilbert Spaces of Polynomials

Let (X,Y) be a minimal compactifiurtion of ?². In this paper, we determine the structure of such a (X,Y) in the case where X is a normal hypersurface of degree d ≤ 4 in P³.     

Prediction of Continuous Time Processes by C[0,1]‐Valued Autoregressive Process

In order to predict a continuous time process on an entire‐time interval, we introduce the C_[0,1]‐valued autoregressive process of first order. We show, under mild regularity conditions the convergence almost sure of the predictor. We propose an estimator of the dimension of the projecting space of observations and illustrate the results by a numerical example. This revised version was published online in June 2006 with corrections to the Cover Date.

在再生核基本理论的基础上,介绍了再生核在小波变换中的作用,并且根据连续小波变换像空间是再生核Hilbert空间这一基本事实,借助再生核理论的特殊技巧,建立了Littlewood-Paley和Haar小波变换像空间的再生核函数与已知再生核空间的再生核的关系,为小波变换像空间的进一步研究提供理论基础.     

Reproducing Kernel Hilbert Spaces Associated with Analytic Translation-Invariant Mercer Kernels

In this article we study reproducing kernel Hilbert spaces (RKHS) associated with translation-invariant Mercer kernels. Applying a special derivative reproducing property, we show that when the kernel is real analytic, every function from the RKHS is real analytic. This is used to investigate subspaces of the RKHS generated by a set of fundamental functions. The analyticity of functions from the RKHS enables us to derive some estimates for the covering numbers which form an essential part for the analysis of some algorithms in learning theory. Sampling Expansions and Interpolation in Unitarily Translation Invariant Reproducing Kernel Hilbert Spaces

Sufficient conditions are established in order that, for a fixed infinite set of sampling points on the full line, a function satisfies a sampling theorem on a suitable closed subspace of a unitarily translation invariant reproducing kernel Hilbert space. A number of examples of such reproducing kernel Hilbert spaces and the corresponding sampling expansions are given. Sampling theorems for functions on the half-line are also established in RKHS using Riesz bases in subspaces of L ²(R ⁺).

Reproducing Kernel method for the solution of nonlinear hyperbolic telegraph equation with an integral condition

In this article, an iterative method is proposed for solving nonlinear hyperbolic telegraph equation with an integral condition. Its exact solution is represented in the form of series in the reproducing kernel space. In the mean time, the n‐term approximation u_n(x, t) of the exact solution u(x, t) is obtained and is proved to converge to the exact solution. Moreover, the partial derivatives of u_n(x, t) are also convergent to the partial derivatives of u(x, t). Some numerical examples have been studied to demonstrate the accuracy of the present method. Results obtained by the method have been compared with the exact solution of each example and are found to be in good agreement with each other. © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. 本文利用微分算子插值样条函数的方法给出了W12[a,b]空间再生核构造的新方法,证实了求解微分方程边值问题的方法([1]再生核空间数值分析[M].科学出版社,2004),其实是本文方法的一种特例.     

基于多尺度再生核质点法的h型自适应分析

基于多尺度再生核质点法(RKPM)的多分辨分析特性，给出了适于求解二维问题的h型自适应分析方法，讨论了不同高梯度指标对检测高梯度区的影响，同时还提出了基于邻节点搜索(SNN)及局部Delaunay三角分解(LDT)技术的适于任意节点分布的无网格自适应分析节点加密技术．通过对二维线弹性平面应力及平板弯曲问题的h型自适应分析，说明了不合适的高梯度指标将对自适应分析的收敛造成不良影响，且LDT节点加密技术较SNN技术的效率更高．数值算例的结果说明自适应分析的有效性、稳定性及良好的收敛特性．     

On the Airy Reproducing Kernel, Sampling Series, and Quadrature Formula

We determine the class of entire functions for which the Airy kernel (of random matrix theory) is a reproducing kernel. We deduce an Airy sampling series and quadrature formula. Our results are analogues of well known ones for the Bessel kernel. The need for these arises in investigating universality limits for random matrices at the soft edge of the spectrum.
