A method for measuring the angular size of the halo from boundary diffraction waves without using two-position schemes is proposed. The relationship between the angular distortions of the beam and the size distribution of inhomogeneities is derived for a random transmitting screen. The effective size of inhomogeneities is expressed in terms of the ratio between the fourth-order and second-order moments of the distribution function. A method for estimating the correspondence between the effective size of the inhomogeneities and the parameters of the real screen is substantiated. The key relation for the estimation is the equality of the angular sizes of the halo for the simulated and real scattering objects.  相似文献

The two-position system is assembled on the basis of the bistatic sensing scheme. For the screen with random holes, three calibration stages were implemented: the preliminary, local, and microphysical calibrations. The coefficients relating the parameter of angular distortion of the beam passed through the screen to the transverse hole size were determined. For a halfplane-shaped light source, this coefficient is C 3 = 0.7(21 %), for a point source, C 3 = 0.8(14 %). These coefficients are close to that relating the diffraction angle of the plane wave at a hole to transverse size C = 0.6.  相似文献

A halo tester is designed to analyze the halo formation in low-light-level (LLL) image intensifiers and the influencing factors on halo size. The tester is used to collect a 0.1922-mm hole image directly using a CoolSNAPK4 charge-coupled device (CCD) in a darkroom under illumination conditions between 10~-2and 10~-4 lx. The practical measurement result shows that the amplification ratio is 343.4. Then, the super second- and third-generation image intensifiers are placed after the hole, and the halo sizes of the hole images on the screens are determined as 0.2388 and 0.5533 mm, respectively.  相似文献

The effect of angular vibrations of the crystals in cryogenically cooled monochromators on the beam performance has been studied theoretically and experimentally. A simple relation between amplitude of the vibrations and size of the focused beam is developed. It is shown that the double‐crystal monochromator vibrations affect not only the image size but also the image position along the optical axis. Several methods to measure vibrations with the X‐ray beam are explained and analyzed. The methods have been applied to systematically study angular crystal vibrations at monochromators installed at the PETRA III light source. Characteristic values of the amplitudes of angular vibrations for different monochromators are presented.  相似文献

The regular and chaotic dynamics of test particles in a superposed field between a pseudo-Newtonian Kerr black hole and quadrupolar halos is detailed.In particular,the dependence of dynamics on the quadrupolar parameter of the halos and the spin angular momentum of the rotating black hole is studied.It is found that the small quadrupolar moment,in contrast with the spin angular momentum,does not have a great effect on the stability and radii of the innermost stable circular orbits of these test particles.In addition,chaos mainly occurs for small absolute values of the rotating parameters,and does not exist for the maximum counter-rotating case under some certain initial conditions and parameters.This means that the rotating parameters of the black hole weaken the chaotic properties.It is also found that the counter-rotating system is more unstable than the co-rotating one.Furthermore,chaos is absent for small absolute values of the quadrupoles,and the onset of chaos is easier for the prolate halos than for the oblate ones.  相似文献

The Kapchinsky-Vladimirsky beam through an alternating-gradient quadrupole magnetic field is studied using the particle-core model. The beam halo-chaos is found, and the soliton controller is proposed based on the mechanism of halo formation and strategy of controlling halo-chaos. We perform a multiparticle simulation to control the halo by soliton controller, and find that the halo-chaos and its regeneration can be eliminated. It is shown that our control method is effective.  相似文献

The nuclear vertex functions for virtual decay of halo nuclei 6He → α + n + n (11Li-9Li + n + n) for dineutron and cigarlike configurations of the neutron halo have been analytically investigated using the diagram method of direct nuclear reactions. These vertex functions describe the one-step process of two-neutron transfer. It is shown that the angular and energy distributions of the reaction products (α particles, 9Li, etc.) in different ranges of variables correspond to different structural elements of the halo. The vertex function describing the two-step process of halo neutron transfer has also been analyzed.  相似文献

Diffraction radiation generated by relativistic particles passing through a slit in a tilted screen is proposed for nondestructive particle beam diagnostics. For ultrarelativistic particles with the Lorentz factor γ≫1, simple relations are derived for the field strength of diffraction radiation from a slit in a tilted perfectly conducting plane. It is shown that the total radiation loss is proportional to γ. The effect of the initial beam divergence on the angular distribution pattern of diffraction radiation is pointed out. A principal possibility of determining a beam divergence smaller than γ-1 is demonstrated when measuring the angular distribution of radiation with a constant wavelength. The 17Ne nucleus is a possible candidate with a two-proton borromean halo structure. Since the theoretical model is difficult to handle the three-body system, it is difficult to determine the two-proton halo structure in 17Ne. In the present research, we try to study the breakup reaction of 17Ne. For the Borromean nuclei, one-proton knockout results in an unstable nucleus which is decaying further by proton emission. This process will result in an angular correlation between the direction of the aligned recoiling unstable nucleus and its decay products. The angular correlations can give us information about the configuration of the valence proton in the 17Ne. Furthermore, theoretical calculations indicate that the momentum distributions of 16F c.m are sensitive to the structure of the halo in 17Ne. Thus the measurement of momentum distributions of 16F c.m may also give us conclusive information on the structure of 17Ne. The present experiment has been done at IMP in Lanzhou using the radioactive beam 17Ne at 30.8 MeV/u on a 43mg/cm2 12C target. 对拉盖尔-高斯光束经多圆孔衍射屏在远场平面上形成的干涉光场的相位和零值线进行了计算模拟.当入射光束的轨道角动量量子数为零时,实部零值线与虚部零值线在干涉光场中心点不相交,因而在该点上不能形成相位涡旋.当入射光束的轨道角动量量子数为+1和-1时,实部零值线与虚部零值线在干涉光场中心垂直并相交,干涉光场相应位置处的相位涡旋的符号相反.当入射光束的轨道角动量量子数为±2和±3时,有四条零值线相交于干涉光场的中心点上,并且实部零值线和虚部零值线交替分布,该交点处形成的相位涡旋的拓扑荷的值恰好与拉盖尔-高斯光束的轨道角动量量子数相等.这种结果可以用来测量涡旋光束的轨道角动量.  相似文献

Two semi‐transparent imaging beam‐position monitors developed at the ESRF have been installed at the micro‐analysis beamline ID22 for monitoring the angular stability of the X‐ray beam. This system allows low‐frequency (10 Hz) angular beam stability measurements at a submicroradian range. It is demonstrated that the incoming macro‐beam angular fluctuations are one of the major sources of focal spot instabilities downstream of the Kirkpatrick–Baez mirrors. It is also shown that scanning the energy by rotating the so‐called fixed‐exit monochromator induces some unexpected angular beam shifts that are, to a large extent, deterministic.  相似文献

A method for investigation of the parameters of X-ray beams pumped from the transmission direction into the reflection one depending on the value of applied temperature gradient is proposed. An increase in the integral intensity of diffracted X-ray beam is due to both the overthrowing effect inside the Darwin table and an increase in the angular width of beam. It is shown that it is possible to determine to a high accuracy the value of temperature gradient, beginning with which the angular width of the pumped X-ray beam increases.  相似文献

研究了微光夜视系统输出图像中光晕尺寸和灰度分布与系统参数之间的关系,建立了系统光晕效应的定量化表征模型。首先分析了系统输出图像中光晕的产生机理;其次依据微光夜视系统成像原理,通过分析光电阴极产生的光电子数及初角度分布、光电子在光电阴极与微通道板之间的运动、光电子与微通道板非开口壁碰撞后的运动规律及微光成像系统各环节对能量的逐级传递,研究了光晕的定量化表征方法;结合上述理论研究,建立了光晕的数字仿真模型。结果表明:所提出的光晕效应表征模型能够与实验结果中光晕的灰度分布及尺寸较好地吻合;随着强光源能量增大,系统光晕效应越明显,光晕效应对系统成像质量影响越大。  相似文献

提出一种集合浮雕和折射率周期分布调制的复合型衍射光栅,并利用角谱表示和严格的模式理论研究了线偏振高斯光束通过这种复合型衍射光栅的传输特性.数值计算结果表明,在光栅的同一透射深度处复合型衍射光栅光强的起伏频率要比浮雕型光栅光强的起伏频率小.最后使用复合型衍射光栅模型,研究了亚波长体积相位全息光栅的表面起伏和入射光束的束腰宽度对衍射效率的影响. 关键词: 复合型衍射光栅 亚波长体积相位全息光栅 高斯光束 严格模式理论  相似文献

Based on the plane wave analysis and the superposition of the plane waves, the diffraction of a Gaussian beam by a periodic screen with a dielectric plate is analyzed. The reflection power coefficient for different parameters of the beam and the screen is given. When the beam waist size is increased the results reaches that of the plane wave. It has been found that the power reflection coefficient is not sensitive to the beam waist size, however, it is sensitive to the period of the grating and polarization angle.  相似文献

The scattering of the radioactive, weakly bound, halo nucleus 11Be from 209Bi has been studied at 40MeV beam energy. The measurement performed with a low-intensity and a large-emittance secondary beam could be made using an extremely compact, large solid angle (∼ 2π sr) detecting set-up, based on 8 highly segmented Si telescopes. The 11, 9Be scattering angular distributions, as well as their relative reaction cross-sections, resulted to be rather similar. This may suggest that at Coulomb barrier energies the halo structure and the very small binding energy of the 11Be projectile have no big influence on the reaction dynamics.  相似文献

Using a rigorous theory of diffraction, we explain the origin and analyze the structure of a wide-angle illuminated area observed when a limited beam is diffracted by the sharp edge of an opaque screen. It is shown that the formed plume has the structure of a cylindrical wave traveling from the screen edge and its amplitude is proportional to the beam amplitude at this edge. The observed structure is Young’s boundary wave produced by diffraction of the limited beam.  相似文献

束流热屏(beam screen)是新一代高能粒子对撞机中的重要部件,用于将束流在管道中运行时产生的热量转移到冷却系统中,同时通过束流热屏上的排气孔将残余气体输送至冷管壁上,维持良好的真空度.然而,在转移热负载的过程中,温度变化产生的形变会影响束流热屏的结构稳定性.如何在保证束流热屏良好传热性能的情况下,尽量减小形变是优化束流热屏结构设计的关键问题之一.本文采用ANSYS软件对束流热屏模型的传热性能和力学性能进行了模拟,并优化了束流热屏结构设计,增强其传热性能和结构稳定性.对于束流热屏外屏的内表面,采用减小铜涂层厚度的方式来降低运行过程中产生的洛伦兹力.相关理论模型计算结果表明:与厚度为100μm的铜涂层工况相比,当铜涂层的厚度在0到100μm之间变化时,厚度为75μm的铜涂层可以使束流热屏外屏的最大形变降低70.9%,同时使束流热屏的最高温度升高1.1%.对于束流热屏内屏,采用间隔布置支撑肋片的设计方案对束流热屏的结构进行加固处理,提高束流热屏整体的结构稳定性.计算结果表明:与未加支撑肋片的工况相比,当相邻两个支撑肋片之间的间隔为1个排气孔时,束流热屏内屏的最大形变可降低86.8%,同时使束流热屏的最高温度降低7.69%.研究成果为新一代高能粒子加速器真空系统中关键部件束流热屏的设计提供重要的理论参考.  相似文献
