Summary Dichlorobis(methylsalicylato)titanium(IV) reacts with potassium or amine salts of dialkyl or diaryl dithiocarbamates in 11 and 12 molar ratios in anhydrous benzene (room temperature) or in boiling CH2Cl2 to yield mixed ligand complexes: (AcOC6H4O)2 Ti(S2CNR2)Cl (1) and (AcOC6H4O)2 Ti(S2CNR2)2 (2), R=Et, n-Pr, n-Bu, cyclo-C4H8 and cyclo-C5H10. These compounds are moisture sensitive and highly soluble in polar solvents. Molecular weight measurement in conjunction with i.r.,1H and13C n.m.r. spectral studies suggest coordination number 7 and 8 around titanium(IV) in (1) and (2) respectively.  相似文献

The previously reported mixed ligand compound SnCl4 (DMF) (DMSO) (DMF=NN-Dimethylformamide, DMSO=Dimethylsulphoxide) has been studied by IR, Raman and Mössbauer spectroscopy. Our results confirm its homogeneity with the DMF and DMSO ligands coordinating in cis position through the oxygen atoms. The compound does not isomerize when heated to 135 C, but decomposes giving rise to cis-SnCl4(DMSO)2 and trans-SnCl4 (DMF)2.  相似文献

The title compounds, hexaaquacobalt(II) bis(hypophosphite), [Co(H2O)6](H2PO2)2, and hexaaquacobalt(II)/nickel(II) bis(hypophosphite), [Co0.5Ni0.5(H2O)6](H2PO2)2, are shown to adopt the same structure as hexaaquamagnesium(II) bis(hypophosphite). The packing of the Co(Ni) and P atoms is the same as in the structure of CaF2. The CoII(NiII) atoms have a pseudo‐face‐centred cubic cell, with a = b~ 10.3 Å, and the P atoms occupy the tetrahedral cavities. The central metal cation has a slightly distorted octahedral coordination sphere. The geometry of the hypophosphite anion in the structure is very close to ideal, with point symmetry mm2. Each O atom of the hypophosphite anion is hydrogen bonded to three water molecules from different cation complexes, and each H atom of the hypophosphite anion is surrounded by three water molecules from further different cation complexes.  相似文献

In the title compound, (2-chlorobenzyl)tris(pyridine-2-thiolato)-κ2N,S2N,SS-tin(IV), [Sn(C7H6Cl)(C5H4NS)3], two of the three pyridine-2-thiolato ligands (SPy) are bidentate and one is monodentate. The bonding C atom of the 2-chlorobenzyl group, the S atom of the monodentate SPy and the S and N atoms of the two bidentate SPy ligands form a distorted octahedron around the Sn atom. The three S atoms and the N atom of one of the bidentate SPy ligands occupy the equatorial positions, while the N atom of the second bidentate SPy ligand and the C(CH2) atom are axial. The axial N—Sn—C angle of 157.9 (1)° demonstrates the heavy distortion of the octahedron.  相似文献

The complex (ptppf)Fe(CO)3 has been prepared in high yield by the reaction of ptppf, l-(diphenyl-phosphino)-l'-(phenylthio)ferrocene, with (cis-cyclooctene)2-Fe(CO)3 in THF at ?60°C. The complex has been characterized by IR, 31P NMR, mass spectrometry and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. This compound is the first example of a ferrocenyl ligand having both sulfur and phosphorus donor atoms bound to a Fe(CO)3 moiety. X-ray crystallography shows that the two cyclopentadienyl rings are approximately eclipsed, a rotation of 13° from exactly eclipsed conformation. The tricarbonyl iron center has a trigonal bipyramidal geometry with sulfur occupying the equatorial site and phosphorus the axial site. Crystals of (ptppf)Fe(CO)3 are monoclinic, with a = 11.645(2), b = 14.304(1), c = 17.075(2) Å,β = 109.23(3)°, Z = 4, and space group P 21/n. The structure was solved according to the heavy-atom method and refined by full-matrix least-squares procedures to R = 0.037 for 2098 reflections with I ≥ 2.5σ(I).  相似文献

The title compound, [AuCl3(C13H9N)], is the first complex of gold and acridine to be reported. The coordination sphere of the Au atom is square planar. The crystal structure is built up of neutral complex molecules linked into chains by means of attractive π–π interactions between the parallel acridine ligands.  相似文献

The kinetics of the base hydrolysis ofcis-[Co(en)2(RNH2)-(SalH)]2+ (R=Me or Et; SalH=HOC6H4CO 2 ) were investigated in aqueous ClO 4 in the 0.004–0.450 mol dm−3 [OH] range, I=0.50 mol dm−3 at 30–40°C. The phenoxide species is hydrolysed via [OH]-independent and [OH]-dependent paths, the latter being first order in [OH]. The high rate of alkali-independent hydrolysis of the phenoxide species is associated with high ΔH and ΔS values, in keeping with the SNICB mechanism involving an amido conjugate base generated by the phenoxide-assisted NH-deprotonation of the coordinated amine. The [OH]-dependent path also involves the conventional SN1 CB mechanism. The rate constant, k1, for the SNICB path exhibits a steric acceleration with the increasing size of the non-labile alkylamine, whereas the rate constant, k2, for the SN1CB path shows a reverse trend. Bis(hinokitiolato)copper(II), Cu(hino)2, exhibits both antibacterial and antiviral properties, and has been previously shown to exist in two modifications. A third modification has now been confirmed, namely tetrakis(μ2‐3‐isopropyl‐7‐oxocyclohepta‐1,3,5‐trien‐1‐olato)bis(3‐isopropyl‐7‐oxocyclohepta‐1,3,5‐trien‐1‐olato)tricopper(II)–bis(μ2‐3‐isopropyl‐7‐oxocyclohepta‐1,3,5‐trien‐1‐olato)bis[(3‐isopropyl‐7‐oxocyclohepta‐1,3,5‐trien‐1‐olato)copper(II)] (1/1), [Cu(C10H11O2)2]3·[Cu(C10H11O2)2]2, where 3‐isopropyl‐7‐oxocyclohepta‐1,3,5‐trien‐1‐olate is the systematic name for the hinokitiolate anion. This new modification is composed of discrete [cis‐Cu(hino)2]2[trans‐Cu(hino)2] trimers and [cis‐Cu(hino)2]2 dimers. The Cu atoms are bridged by μ2‐O atoms from the hinokitiolate ligands to give distorted square‐pyramidal and distorted octahedral CuII coordination environments. Hence, the CuII environments are CuO5/CuO6/CuO5 for the trimer and CuO5/CuO5 for the dimer. Each trimer and dimer has crystallographically imposed inversion symmetry. The trimer has never been observed before, the dimer has been seen only once before, and the combination of the two together in the same lattice is unprecedented. The CuO5 cores exhibit four strong basal Cu—O bonds [1.915 (2)–1.931 (2) Å] and one weak apical Cu—O bond [2.652 (2)–2.658 (2) Å]. The CuO6 core exhibits four strong equatorial Cu—O bonds [1.922 (2)–1.929 (2) Å] and two very weak axial Cu—O bonds [2.911 (3) Å]. The bite angles for the chelating hinokitiolate ligands range from 83.13 (11) to 83.90 (10)°.  相似文献

Zeise's salt, [PtCl3(H2C=CH2)], is the oldest known organometallic complex, featuring ethylene strongly bound to a platinum salt. Many derivatives are known, but none involving dinitrogen, and indeed dinitrogen complexes are unknown for both platinum and palladium. Electrospray ionization mass spectrometry of K2[PtCl4] solutions generate strong ions corresponding to [PtCl3(N2)], the identity of which was confirmed through ion-mobility spectrometry and MS/MS experiments that proved it to be distinct from its isobaric counterparts [PtCl3(C2H4)] and [PtCl3(CO)]. Computational analysis established a gas-phase platinum–dinitrogen bond strength of 116 kJ mol−1, substantially weaker than the ethylene and carbon monoxide analogues but stronger than for polar solvents such as water, methanol and dimethylformamide, and strong enough that the calculated N−N bond length of 1.119 Å represents weakening to a degree typical of isolated dinitrogen complexes.  相似文献

The crystal structure of ethylenediaminecadmium(II) tetracyanocadmate(II)-benzene(1/2),I, has been redetermined based on 1632 reflections collected anew for the crystal coated with epoxy resin, with a final conventionalR=0.038;I crystallizes in space groupP4222, witha=b=8.265(1) andc=15.512(3) Å, andZ=2. Ethylenediaminecadmium(II) tetracyanocadmate(II),II, is concluded to be identical with the residual metal complex host ofI, remaining after the liberation of the guest benzene molecules;II crystallizes from an aqueous solution containing bis- or tris-ethylenediaminecadmium(II) tetracyanocadmate(II) in space groupI41/acd, witha=b=14.366(1) andc=23.771(4) Å, andZ=16; refinement led to a conventionalR=0.043 for 1181 reflections. The bridging ethylenediamine ligand inI turns to a chelating one inII; dissociation and recombination should occur in the coordination sphere of the six-coordinate cadmium atom, whenII is derived fromI by the liberation of the guest molecules. Aryl(chloromethyl)thallium chlorides, Ar(ClCH2)TlCl (Ar=C6H5, p-CH3C6H4) have been prepared by treatment of arylthallium dichlorides with diazomethane. The derived carboxylates, Ar(ClCH2)TlX, react with HgX2 to give the dicarboxylates, (ClCH2)TlX2 (X = OCOCH3, OCOC3H7-i) and with tetramethyltin to give CH3(ClCH2)TlX compounds. R(ClCH2)TIX compounds (R = CH3, C6H5, p-CH3C6H4) undergo disproportionation in methanol to R2TlX and (ClCH2)2TlX compounds.  相似文献

Abstract

Two new cadmium(II) complexes with phenylthiourea (PTU), namely Cd(PTU)4Cl2 (1) and [Cd2(NCS)22-SCN)2(PTU)22-PTU)2] n (2), have been prepared and characterized structurally by X-ray diffaction. Complex 1 crystallizes in the monoclinic space group C2/c, with a = 27.057(13), b = 8.108(3), c = 16.751(8) Å, β = 114.46°, V = 3345(3) Å3, Z = 4. Complex 2 crystallizes in the triclinic space group P-1, with a = 9.336(3), b = 14.686(5), c = 16.911(5) Å, α = 71.36(2), β = 84.31(2), γ = 72.470(10)°, V = 2095.0(12) Å3 Z = 4. The structural analysis shows that each metal atom in both the mononuclear complex 1 and polynuclear complex 2 is octahedrally coordinated by four sulfur atoms and two chloro ligands or two nitrogen atoms from the thiocyanate groups, respectively. The PTU ligand can serve as either a monodentate ligand or a μ2-bridging ligand upon coordination to a metal atom.  相似文献

Abstract

Infrared spectra of the coordination compounds [MG2(py)2], M(II)=Co, Ni, Cu and Zn; G=glycolato, py=pyridine, have been fully assigned by means of py and py-d 5 and glycolato α—OH and α—OD (G-d) labelling as well as metal ion substitution in the 4000–70cm?1 region. The crystal structure of the Ni(II) compound is presented and the spectra of the compounds are discussed on the basis of their structure and their bonding to the glycolato and pyridine ligands. Vibrational frequencies obtained for the Ni(II) compound are compared to those obtained by calculations carried out using the Gaussian 94 program package.  相似文献

Summary The kinetics of acid hydrolysis ofcis-[CoCl(btzH)(en)2]2+ andcis-[CoCl(btzMe)(en)2]2+ complexes (where btzH = benzotriazole, btzMe =N-methylbenzotriazole and en = ethylenediamine) have been investigated in HClO4 at ionic strength 1 = 0.25 mol dm–3 in the 30–40° range. In the 1.0 x 10–1 to 1.0 X 10–3 mol dm–3 acid strength range, the rate of aquation of the [CoCl(btzH)(en)2]2+ cation follows the relationship:-d ln[complex]/dt = k1 + k2KNH[H+]–1, where k1 and k2 are aquation rate constants of the acid independent and acid dependent steps respectively, and KNH is the acid dissociation constant of the coordinated benzotriazole.cis-[CoCl(btzMe)-(en)2]2+ undergoes acid independent hydrolysis presumably due to the absence of a labile N-H proton. The base hydrolysis could be followed for thecis-[CoCl(btzMe)(en)2]2+ complex only by measuring hydrolysis rates at 0°.  相似文献

In the title complex, [Cu(C7H4NO3S)2(C2H7NO)2], the CuII centre lies on an inversion centre and exhibits octahedral coordination, with the two ethanolamine (Hea) and two saccharinate [sac; anionic 1,2-benzisothiazol-3(2H)-one 1,1-dioxide] ligands in a trans configuration. The bidentate Hea ligands bridge axial and equatorial positions and the sac anions occupy equatorial sites around the distorted octahedral copper(II) centre [Cu—O = 2.3263 (16), Cu—NHea = 1.9923 (16) and Cu—Nsac = 2.1776 (16) Å].  相似文献

Crystal Structure of p-Tolylbis (diethyldithiocarbamato)thallium(III) and Phenylbis-(methylxanthogenato)bismut(III) The crystal structure of 4-CH3(C6H4)? Tl(S2CN(C2H5)2)2 (P21/c, a = 11.973(3), b = 10.692(3), c = 19.232(4) Å, β = 114.02(2)°, Z = 4) and C6H5-Bi(S2COCH3)2 (P21/c, a = 6.395(2), b = 24.684(8), c = 9.732(3) Å, β = 101.38(3)°, Z = 4) was solved from X-ray diffraction data of single crystals. From the interatomic distances follows that the dithiocarbamate and xanthogenate ligands coordinate asymmetrically bidentate to the metal as presumed and exclusively through the sulfur atoms. Differences in the coordination sphere of bismut and thallium give evidence for a “stereochemically active lone pair” on the bismut atom.  相似文献

In the title complex, [Hg(CH4N2S)4][Mn(NCS)4], the Hg and Mn atoms sit at special positions with symmetry and are tetrahedrally coordinated to four thiourea (TU) S and four thiocyanate (SCN) N atoms, respectively. The structure consists of discrete cationic and anionic [Hg(TU)4]2+ and [Mn(SCN)4]2− complexes, and weak NTU—H⃛SSCN hydrogen-bond bridges exist between these complexes.  相似文献
