Buckling and post-buckling behavior of a soft ferromagnetic beam-plate with unmovable simple supports under an applied magnetic field is analyzed by taking into account the non-linear effect of large deflections based on the von Karman model of plates. The study shows that buckling is proceeded by bending only if the applied magnetic field forms an incident angle with the normal of the plate. The characteristics of buckling and post-buckling are explored by numerical analysis. In particular, the numerical solution shows that, when the applied magnetic field is oblique, the plate snapps from a whole wave configuration into a half-wave configuration as buckling/snapping occurs, and that the magnetoelastic buckling strength increases with the increasing oblique angle. 相似文献

研究了受横向不平衡电磁激励的转子.轴承系统的非线性振动响应。首先将转子.轴承系统简化为带有质量不平衡并受横向激励的连续梁,由于短轴承的油膜力和电磁力的共同激励,系统振动具有强非线性特性。用Galerkin方法把偏微分控制方程离散为常微分方程组,采用四阶Runge—Kutta法对该系统进行数值仿真研究。其次比较了转轴分别在电磁力、油膜力单独作用和两种力共同作用下的振动特性,研究表明电磁力和油膜力对转子系统的非线性振动和分岔有着不同的贡献:油膜力的存在抑制了拟周期运动的发生,延长了稳定运行区域;电磁力拉长了拟周期发生的区域,降低了转子系统发生突发性破坏的风险。最后给出了系统响应随转速、电磁参数、油膜粘度等控制参数变化的分岔图,表明:系统在两个方向的运动随控制参数的变化趋势基本相同,经历了周期、倍周期、拟周期等非线性运动交替出现的过程;且油膜粘度的增大有利于转子系统的安全运行。 相似文献

This paper gives the perturbation formulation of continuation method for nonlinear equations. Emphasis is laid on the discussion of searching for the singular points on the equilibrium path and of tracing the paths over the limit or bifurcation points. The method is applied to buckling analysis of thin shells. The pre-and post-buckling equilibrium paths and deflections can be obtained, which are illustrated in examples of buckling analysis of cylindrical and toroidal shells. 相似文献

Based on the generalized probability density evolution theory, the joint probability density function of impact responses and random factors, that is, random initial imperfection and load intensity for a clamped beam, is derived. And a Total Variation Diminishing (TVD)-based numerical scheme is employed to obtain the numerical solutions. With given threshold values, the dynamic reliability is assessed in terms of a bilateral displacement criterion. Two numerical examples are then presented to demonstrate the proposed method. One is a clamped beam with random initial perfections subjected to a deterministic impulse load, and another is a clamped beam with a deterministic initial imperfection subjected to impact loading with a random amplitude. The predicted dynamic reliability is in good agreement with the result by Monte Carlo method. 相似文献

An analysis of the buckling and post-buckling of a delaminated composite strut is presented using a simple 4 degree of freedom
nonlinear Rayleigh–Ritz formulation. Bifurcation analysis indicates that instability occurs in general at an asymmetric point
of bifurcation. Depending on the depth of delamination both thin-film and overall buckling can occur in the post-buckling
range, the transition being seen at a point of secondary bifurcation. For certain combinations of parameters this becomes
a stellar bifurcation, associated with a double eigenvalue, where there are three possible subsequent routes for the post-buckling.
The method used is fast and reliable and can be readily extended to modelling a composite with several layers. 相似文献

Out-of-plane buckling of anisotropic elastic plate subjected to a simple shear is investigated. From exact 3-D equilibrium
conditions of anisotropic elastic body with a plane of elastic symmetry at critical configuration, the eqution for buckling
direction (buckling wave direction) parameter is derived and the shape functions of possible buckling modes are obtained.
The traction free boundary conditions which must hold on the upper and lower surfaces of plate lead to a linear eigenvalue
problem whose nontrivial solutions are just the possible buckling modes for the plate. The buckling conditions for both flexural
and barreling modes are presented.
As a particular example of buckling of anisotropic elastic plate, the buckling of an orthotropic elastic plate, which is subjected
to simple shear along a direction making an arbitrary angle of θ with respect to an elastic principal axis of materials, is
analyzed. The buckling direction varies with θ and the critical amount of shear. The numerical results show that only the
flexural mode can indeed exist.

对超混沌系统进行分岔反控制的研究已成为当前一个重要研究方向,常采用线性控制器实现反控制。首先,对一个四维超混沌系统的Hopf分岔特性进行了分析,利用高维分岔理论推导出分岔特性与参数之间的关系式,以此判断系统的分岔类型。然后,设计一个由线性与非线性组合成的混合控制器对系统进行分岔反控制,控制参数取值不同时,系统会呈现出不同的分岔特性。通过分析得出,调控线性控制器参数可以使系统Hopf分岔提前或延迟发生;同时,调控混合控制器的两个控制参数,可以改变系统Hopf分岔特性,实现分岔反控制。 相似文献

In this paper, the asymptotic expansions of the maximal Lyapunov exponents for a co-dimension two-bifurcation system which is on a three-dimensional center manifold and is excited parametrically by an ergodic real noise are evaluated. The real noise is an integrable function of an n-dimensional Ornstein-Uhlenbeck process. Based on a perturbation method, we examine almost all possible singular boundaries that exist in one-dimensional phase diffusion process. The comparisons between the analytical solutions and the numerical simulations are given. In addition, we also investigate the P-bifurcation behavior for the one-dimensional phase diffusion process. In this paper, we consider a variable yield model of a single-species growth in a well-stirred tank containing fresh medium, assuming the instances of time as triggering factors in which the nutrient refilling process and the removal of microorganisms by the uptake of lethal external antibiotic are initiated. It is also assumed that the periodic nutrient refilling and the periodic antibiotic injection occur with the same periodicity, but not simultaneously. The model is then formulated in terms of autonomous differential equations subject to impulsive perturbations. It is observed that either the population of microorganisms essentially washes out, or more favorably, the system is permanent. To describe this dichotomy, some biologically significant integral conditions are introduced. Further, it is shown that in a certain critical situation, a nontriviai periodic solution emerges via a bifurcation phenomenon. Finally, the dynamics of the model is illustrated with numerical experiments and computer simulations. 相似文献

Local and global bifurcations in the motion of a double pendulum subjected to a follower force have been studied when the follower force and the springs at the joints have structural asymmetries. The bifurcations of the system are examined in the neighborhood of double zero eigenvalues. Applying the center manifold and the normal form theorem to a four-dimensional governing equation, we finally obtain a two-dimensional equation with three unfolding parameters. The local bifurcation boundaries can be obtained for the criteria for the pitchfork and the Hopf bifurcation. The Melnikov theorem is used to find the global bifurcation boundaries for appearance of a homoclinic orbit and coalescence of two limit cycles. Numerical simulation was performed using the original four-dimensional equation to confirm the analytical prediction. 相似文献

Present work concerns the propagation of solitary waves in the array of coupled, uncompressed granular chains subjected to onsite perturbation. We devise a special analytical procedure depicting the modulation of solitary pulses caused by the inter-chain interaction as well as by the on-site perturbations of a general type. The proposed analytical procedure is very efficient in depicting both the transient response characterized by significant energy fluctuations between the chains as well as in predicting the formation of stable attractors corresponding to a steady state response. We confirm the validity of a general analytical procedure with several specific setups of granular scalar models. In particular we consider the response of the array of coupled granular chains free of perturbation as well as the arrays subject to the basic type of on-site perturbations such as the ones induced by the uniform and random elastic foundation, dissipation. Additional interesting finding made in the present study corresponds to the granular arrays subject to a special type of on-site perturbation containing the terms leading to the two opposing effects namely dissipation and energy sourcing. Interestingly enough this type of perturbation may lead to the formation of stable attractors. By the term attractors we refer to the stable, stationary pulses simultaneously forming on all the coupled chains and propagating with the same phase speed. It is important to emphasize that the analytical procedure developed in the first part of the study predicts the formation of stable attractors through a typical saddle–node bifurcation. Moreover, results of the reduced model are found to be in a spectacular agreement with those of the direct numerical simulations of the true model. 相似文献

当前对聚合物凝胶失稳现象的研究大多是基于Flory-Rehner弹性凝胶理论,并未考虑凝胶网络链段相互缠绕引起的物理交联对凝胶弹性网络自由能的影响.因此,本文采用了一个新的,包含网络缠结拓扑限制作用的凝胶自由能函数,在此基础上计算交联网链数密度与滑动环数密度的比值、不可伸展参数、滑移参数对聚合物凝胶的折合增量模量的影响,并给出了不同长细比凝胶杆的临界屈曲应力.研究结果表明:交联网链数密度与滑动环数密度的比值、不可伸展参数越大,增量模量越大,而滑移参数越大,增量模量越小;凝胶杆的长细比越大,临界屈曲应力越小. 相似文献
