In an arbitrary Banach space we consider the Cauchy problem for an integro-differential equation with unbounded operator coefficients. We establish the solvability of the problem in the weight spaces of integrable functions under certain conditions on the data. To prove this, the solution of the problem is written in explicit form with the help of analytic semigroups generated by fractional powers of the operator coefficients. Here an important role is played by the conditions on the coefficients ensuring the coercive estimates of the corresponding integral operators. In the present paper, a mixed nonclassical problem for multidimensional second-order elliptic system with Dirichlet and nonlocal integral boundary conditions is considered. Since Lax-Milgram theorem cannot be applied straightforwardly for such a nonlocal problem, we consider the problem in the spaces of vector-valued distributions with respect to one space variable with values in the spaces of functions with respect to the other space variables. We introduce special multipliers and applying them we obtain suitable new a priori estimates, and under minimal conditions on the coefficients of the elliptic operator we prove the existence and uniqueness of the solution in appropriate spaces of vector-valued distributions with values in Sobolev spaces.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider the rough singular integral operators on product Triebel-Lizorkin spaces and prove certain boundedness properties on the Triebel-Lizorkin spaces. We also use the same method to study the fractional integral operator and the Littlewood-Paley functions. The results extend some known results.  相似文献

In this paper we consider a class of weighted integral operators onL 2 (0, ) and show that they are unitarily equivalent to Hankel operators on weighted Bergman spaces of the right half plane. We discuss conditions for the Hankel integral operator to be finite rank, Hilbert-Schmidt, nuclear and compact, expressed in terms of the kernel of the integral operator. For a particular class of weights these operators are shown to be unitarily equivalent to little Hankel operators on weighted Bergman spaces of the disc, and the symbol correspondence is given. Finally the special case of the unweighted Bergman space is considered and for this case, motivated by approximation problems in systems theory, some asymptotic results on the singular values of Hankel integral operators are provided.  相似文献

In this paper we consider linear integro-differential equations in Banach spaces with Fredholm operators at the highest-order derivatives and convolution-type Volterra integral parts. We obtain sufficient conditions for the unique solvability (in the classical sense) of the Cauchy problem for the mentioned equations and illustrate the abstract results with pithy examples. The studies are carried out in classes of distributions in Banach spaces with the help of the theory of fundamental operator functions of degenerate integro-differential operators. We propose a universal technique for proving theorems on the form of fundamental operator functions.  相似文献

We consider quantum systems that have as their configuration spaces finite dimensional vector spaces over local fields. The quantum Hilbert space is taken to be a space with complex coefficients and we include in our model particles with internal symmetry. The Hamiltonian operator is a pseudo-differential operator that is initially only formally defined. For a wide class of potentials we prove that this Hamiltonian is well-defined as an unbounded self-adjoint operator. The free part of the operator gives rise to ameasure on the Skorokhod space of paths,D[0,), and with respect to this measure there is a path integral representation for the semigroup associated to the Hamiltonian. We prove this Feynman-Kac formula in the local field setting as a consequence of the Hille-Yosida theory of semi-groups. The text was submitted by the authors in English.  相似文献

We single out the Besov spaces that embed into the class of continuous functions and enjoy the Fredholm theory of linear singular integral equations with Cauchy kernel. We give basic results of this theory in the class of continuous (rather than Holder continuous) functions in terms of Besov spaces. Alongside elliptic operators we consider violations of ellipticity: the degeneration of the symbol of an operator at finitely many points.  相似文献

We consider the self‐adjoint operator governing the propagation of elastic waves in a perturbed isotropic half‐space (perturbation with compact support of a homogeneous isotropic half‐space) with a free boundary condition. We propose a method to obtain, numerical values included, a complete set of generalized eigenfunctions that diagonalize this operator. The first step gives an explicit representation of these functions using a perturbative method. The unbounded boundary is a new difficulty compared with the method used by Wilcox [25], who set the problem in the complement of bounded open set. The second step is based on a boundary integral equations method which allows us to compute these functions. For this, we need to determine explicitly the Green's function of (A0ω2), where A0 is the self‐adjoint operator describing elastic waves in a homogeneous isotropic half‐space. This article is concerned with the scattering of acoustic and electromagnetic time harmonic plane waves by an inhomogeneous medium. These problems can be translated into volume integral equations of the second kind – the most prominent example is the Lippmann–Schwinger integral equation. In this work, we study a particular class of scattering problems where the integral operator in the corresponding operator equation of Lippmann–Schwinger type fails to be compact. Such integral equations typically arise if the modelling of the inhomogeneous medium necessitates space-dependent coefficients in the highest order terms of the underlying partial differential equation. The two examples treated here are acoustic scattering from a medium with a space-dependent material density and electromagnetic medium scattering where both the electric permittivity and the magnetic permeability vary. In these cases, Riesz theory is not applicable for the solution of the arising integral equations of Lippmann–Schwinger type. Therefore, we show that positivity assumptions on the relative material parameters allow to prove positivity of the arising volume potentials in tailor-made weighted spaces of square integrable functions. This result merely holds for imaginary wavenumber and we exploit a compactness argument to conclude that the arising integral equations are of Fredholm type, even if the integral operators themselves are not compact. Finally, we explain how the solution of the integral equations in L 2 affects the notion of a solution of the scattering problem and illustrate why the order of convergence of a Galerkin scheme set up in L 2 does not suffer from our L 2 setting, compared to schemes in higher order Sobolev spaces.  相似文献

We obtain close two-sided estimates for the best approximation of Laplace operator by linear bounded operators on the class of functions for which the square of the Laplace operator belongs to the L p -space. We estimate the best constant in the corresponding Kolmogorov inequality and the error of the optimal recovery of values of the Laplace operator on functions from this class defined with an error. In a particular case (p = 2) we solve all three problems exactly.  相似文献

This paper studies the spaces of Gateaux and Frechet Operator Differentiable functions of a real variable and their link with the space of Operator Lipschitz functions. Apart from the standard operator norm on B(H), we consider a rich variety of spaces of Operator Differentiable and Operator Lipschitz functions with respect to symmetric operator norms. Our approach is aimed at the investigation of the interrelation and hierarchy of these spaces and of the intrinsic properties of Operator Differentiable functions. We apply the obtained results to the study of the functions acting on the domains of closed *-derivations of C*-algebras and prove that Operator Differentiable functions act on all such domains.We also obtain the following modification of this result: any continuously differentiable, Operator Lipschitz function acts on the domains of all weakly closed *-derivations of C*-algebras.  相似文献

The purpose of this paper is to develop a theory of the Besov‐Morrey spaces and the Triebel‐Lizorkin‐Morrey spaces on domains in R n. We consider the pointwise multiplier operator, the trace operator, the extension operator and the diffeomorphism operator. Not only to domains in R n we extend our definition of function spaces to compact oriented Riemannian manifolds. In this paper we generalize the concept of an infinite positive measure on a -algebra to a vector valued setting, where we consider measures with values in the compactification of a convex coneC which can be described as the set of monoid homomorphisms of the dual coneC * into [0, ]. Applying these concepts to measures on the dual of a vector space leads to generalizations of Bochner's Theorem to operator valued positive definite functions on locally compact abelian groups and likewise to generalizations of Nussbaum's Theorem on positive definite functions on cones. In the latter case we use the Laplace transform to realize the corresponding Hilbert spaces by holomorphic functions on tube domains.  相似文献

We characterize weighted inequalities corresponding to the embedding of a class of absolutely continuous functions into a fractional-order Sobolev space. As auxiliary results of the paper, which are also of independent interest, we obtain several new types of necessary and sufficient conditions for the boundedness of the Hardy–Steklov operator (integral operator with two variable limits) in weighted Lebesgue spaces.  相似文献

In this paper we consider an enlargement of the notion of the probabilistic normed space. For this new class of probabilistic normed spaces we give some topological properties. By using properties of the probabilistic norm we prove some differential and integral properties of functions with values into probabilistic normed spaces. The paper deals with the three‐dimensional Dirichlet boundary value problem (BVP) for a second‐order strongly elliptic self‐adjoint system of partial differential equations in the divergence form with variable coefficients and develops the integral potential method based on a localized parametrix. Using Green's representation formula and properties of the localized layer and volume potentials, we reduce the Dirichlet BVP to a system of localized boundary‐domain integral equations. The equivalence between the Dirichlet BVP and the corresponding localized boundary‐domain integral equation system is studied. We establish that the obtained localized boundary‐domain integral operator belongs to the Boutet de Monvel algebra. With the help of the Wiener–Hopf factorization method, we investigate corresponding Fredholm properties and prove invertibility of the localized operator in appropriate Sobolev (Bessel potential) spaces. In this article, we extend the space of rapidly decaying functions to a space of rapidly decaying Boehmians. We provide convolution products, convolution theorems and generate their associated spaces of Boehmian. Then, we define the short‐time Fourier integral operator on the Boehmian spaces. Moreover, we show that the short‐time Fourier integral operator of the Boehmian is a sequentially continuous mapping that preserves certain desired properties. An inversion formula and some injections have also been obtained.  相似文献

Motivated by questions related to embeddings of homogeneous Sobolev spaces and to comparison of function spaces and operator ranges, we introduce the notion of closely embedded Hilbert spaces as an extension of that of continuous embedding of Hilbert spaces. We show that this notion is a special case of that of Hilbert spaces induced by unbounded positive selfadjoint operators that corresponds to kernel operators in the sense of L. Schwartz. Certain canonical representations and characterizations of uniqueness of closed embeddings are obtained. We exemplify these constructions by closed, but not continuous, embeddings of Hilbert spaces of holomorphic functions. An application to the closed embedding of a homogeneous Sobolev space on Rn in L2(Rn), based on the singular integral operator associated to the Riesz potential, and a comparison to the case of the singular integral operator associated to the Bessel potential are also presented. As a second application we show that a closed embedding of two operator ranges corresponds to absolute continuity, in the sense of T. Ando, of the corresponding kernel operators.  相似文献

We introduce the p-adic weighted multilinear Hardy-Cesàro operator. We also obtain the necessary and sufficient conditions on weight functions to ensure the boundedness of that operator on the product of Lebesgue spaces, Morrey spaces, and central bounded mean oscillation spaces. In each case, we obtain the corresponding operator norms. We also characterize the good weights for the boundedness of the commutator of weighted multilinear Hardy-Cesàro operator on the product of central Morrey spaces with symbols in central bounded mean oscillation spaces.  相似文献
