In this note, by using a generalized notion of the Leibniz algebra of derivations, we present the constructions of the zero, first, and second non-Abelian Leibniz cohomologies with coefficients in crossed modules, which generalize the classical zero, first, and second Leibniz cohomology. For Lie algebras we compare the non-Abelian Leibniz and Lie cohomologies. We describe the second non-Abelian Leibniz cohomology via extensions of Leibniz algebras by crossed modules.  相似文献

In this paper, we prove the connectedness of symplectic ball packings in the complement of a spherical Lagrangian, $S^{2}$ or $\mathbb{RP }^{2}$ , in symplectic manifolds that are rational or ruled. Via a symplectic cutting construction, this is a natural extension of McDuff’s connectedness of ball packings in other settings and this result has applications to several different questions: smooth knotting and unknottedness results for spherical Lagrangians, the transitivity of the action of the symplectic Torelli group, classifying Lagrangian isotopy classes in the presence of knotting, and detecting Floer-theoretically essential Lagrangian tori in the del Pezzo surfaces.  相似文献

In this note we make several observations concerning symplectic cobordisms. Among other things we show that every contact 3-manifold has infinitely many concave symplectic fillings and that all overtwisted contact 3-manifolds are “symplectic cobordism equivalent”. An important problem of modern cryptography concerns secret public-key computations in algebraic structures. We construct homomorphic cryptosystems, which are (secret) epimorphisms f : G H, where G and H are (publically known) groups and H is finite. A letter of a message to be encrypted is an element h H, while its encryption is an element g G such that f(g) = h. A homomorphic cryptosystem allows one to perform computations (in the group G) with encrypted information (without knowing the original message over H).In this paper, homomorphic cryptosystems are constructed for the first time for non-Abelian groups H (earlier, homomorphic cryptosystems were known only in the Abelian case). In fact, we present such a system for any (fixed) solvable group H. We construct examples of symplectic half-flat manifolds on compact quotients of solvable Lie groups. We prove that the Calabi-Yau structures are not rigid in the class of symplectic half-flat structures. Moreover, we provide an example of a compact 6-dimensional symplectic half-flat manifold whose real part of the complex volume form is d-exact. Finally we discuss the 4-dimensional case. We investigate some global generic properties of the dynamics associated to non-Abelian free actions in certain special cases. The main properties considered in this paper are related to the existence of dense orbits, to ergodicity and to topological rigidity. We first deal with them in the case of conservative homeomorphisms of a manifold and C 1-diffeomorphisms of a surface. Groups of analytic diffeomorphisms of a manifold which, in addition, contain a Morse-Smale element and possess a generating set close to the identity are considered as well. From our discussion we also derive the existence of a rigidity phenomenon for groups of skew-products which is opposed to the phenomenon present in Furstenbergs celebrated example of a minimal diffeomorphism that is not ergodic (cf. We show that the theorems of Sanz-Serna and Eirola and Sanz-Serna concerning the symplecticity of Runge-Kutta and Linear Multistep methods, respectively, follow from the fact that these methods preserve quadratic integral invariants and are closed under differentiation and restriction to closed subsystems.  相似文献

Let F be a fibration on a simply-connected base with symplectic fiber (M,ω). Assume that the fiber is nilpotent and T2k-separable for some integer k or a nilmanifold. Then our main theorem, Theorem 1.8, gives a necessary and sufficient condition for the cohomology class [ω] to extend to a cohomology class of the total space of F. This allows us to describe Thurston?s criterion for a symplectic fibration to admit a compatible symplectic form in terms of the classifying map for the underlying fibration. The obstruction due to Lalond and McDuff for a symplectic bundle to be Hamiltonian is also rephrased in the same vein. Furthermore, with the aid of the main theorem, we discuss a global nature of the set of the homotopy equivalence classes of fibrations with symplectic fiber in which the class [ω] is extendable.  相似文献

Let be the contact structure naturally induced on the lens space by the standard contact structure on the three-sphere . We obtain a complete classification of the symplectic fillings of up to orientation-preserving diffeomorphisms. In view of our results, we formulate a conjecture on the diffeomorphism types of the smoothings of complex two-dimensional cyclic quotient singularities.
