In this work we study the semileptonic decay of ${\bar{B}}_{s}^{0}\to \phi {l}^{+}{l}^{-}$ (l=e, μ, τ) with the QCD sum rule method. We calculate the ${\bar{B}}_{s}^{0}\to \phi $ translation form factors relevant to this semileptonic decay, then the branching ratios of ${\bar{B}}_{s}^{0}\to \phi {l}^{+}{l}^{-}$ (l=e, μ, τ) decays are calculated with the form factors obtained here. Our result for the branching ratio of ${\bar{B}}_{s}^{0}\to \phi {\mu }^{+}{\mu }^{-}$ agree very well with the recent experimental data. For the unmeasured decay modes such as ${\bar{B}}_{s}^{0}\to \phi {e}^{+}{e}^{-}$ and ${\bar{B}}_{s}^{0}\to \phi {\tau }^{+}{\tau }^{-}$, we give theoretical predictions.  相似文献

This Letter is the first report of the K{L}-->pi{+/-}e{-/+}nue{+}e{-} decay. Based on 19 208+/-144 events, we determine the branching fraction, B(K{L}-->pi{+/-}e{-/+}nue{+}e{-}M_{e{+}e{-}}>5 MeV/c{2},E{e{+}e{-}}{*}>30 MeV)=(1.285+/-0.041)x10{-5}, and Gamma(K{e3ee}M{e{+}e{-}}>5 MeV/c{2})/Gamma(K{e3})=[4.57+/-0.04(stat)+/-0.14(syst)]x10{-5}. This ratio agrees with a theoretical prediction based on chiral perturbation theory (ChPT) calculated to O(p{4}). The measured kinematical distributions agree with those predicted by just ChPT O(p{4}), but show significant disagreement with ones predicted by leading-order ChPT.  相似文献

We report the results of a CP violation analysis of the decay B{+/-}-->D{pi{+}pi{-}pi;{0}}K{+/-}, where D{pi{+}pi{-}pi{0}} indicates a neutral D meson detected in the final state pi{+}pi{-}pi{0}, excluding K{S}{0}pi{0}. The analysis makes use of 324 x 10{6}e{+}e{-}-->BB[over ] events recorded by the BABAR experiment at the PEP-II e;{+}e;{-} storage ring. Analyzing the pi;{+}pi;{-}pi;{0} Dalitz plot distribution and the B{+/-}-->D{pi{+}pi{-}pi{0}}K{+/-} branching fraction and decay rate asymmetry, we find the following one-standard-deviation constraints on the amplitude ratio and on the weak and strong phases: 0.06pi{+}pi{-}pi{0} decay amplitude.  相似文献

We study the CP-averaged branching fractions and the CP-violating asymmetries in the pure annihilation decays ofB _s~0→a_0~+a _0~-andB _d~0→K_0~(*+)K_0~(*-),where a_0[K_0~*]denotes the scalar a_0(980) and a_0(1450)[K_0~*(800)(ork)and K_0~*(1430)],with the perturbative QCD factorization approach under the assumption of two-quark structure for the a_0and K_0~*states.The numerical results show that the branching ratios of theB _d~0→K_0~(*+)K_0~(*-)decays are in the order of 10~(-6),while the decay rates of theB_s~0→a_0~+a _0~-modes are in the order of 10~(-5).In light of the measured modes with the same quark components in the pseudoscalar sector, namely,B _d~0→K~+K~-and B_s~0→p p~(+-),the predictions for the considered decay modes in this work are expected to be measured at the Large Hadron Collider beauty and/or Belle-Ⅱ experiments in the (near) future.Meanwhile,it is of great interest to find that the twist-3 distribution amplitudes φ~S and φ~T with inclusion of the Gegenbauer polynomials for the scalar a_0(1450) and K_0~*(1430)states in scenario2 contribute slightly to the branching ratios while significantly to the CP violations in the B_d~0→K_0~*(14 30)~+K_0*(14 30)~-and B_s~0→a_0(1450)~+a_0(1450)~-decays,which indicates that, compared to the asymptotic φ~Sand φ~T,these Gegenbauer polynomials could change the strong phases evidently in these pure annihilation decay channels. These predictions await for the future confirmation experimentally, which could further provide useful information to help explore the inner structure of the scalars and shed light on the annihilation decay mechanism.  相似文献

Based on our analysis of the contributions from the connected and disconnected contraction diagrams to the pion-kaon scattering amplitude, we provide the first determination of the only free low-energy constant at ${ \mathcal O }({p}^{4})$, known as ${L}_{0}^{r}$, in SU (4∣1) Partially-Quenched Chiral Perturbation theory using the data from the Extended Twisted Mass collaboration, ${L}_{0}^{r}(\mu ={M}_{\rho })=0.77(20)(25)(7)(7)(2)\cdot {10}^{-3}$. The theory uncertainties originate from the unphysical scattering length, the physical low-energy constants, the higher-order chiral corrections, the (lattice) meson masses and the pion decay constant, respectively.  相似文献

By using 1.8x10{6} DDpairs, we have measured B(D{0}-->pi{-}e{+}nu{e})=0.299(11)(9)%, B(D{+}-->pi{0}e{+}nu{e})=0.373(22)(13)%, B(D{0}-->K{-}e{+}nu{e})=3.56(3)(9)%, and B(D{+}-->K{0}e{+}nu{e})=8.53(13)(23)% and have studied the q;{2} dependence of the form factors. By combining our results with recent lattice calculations, we obtain |V{cd}|=0.217(9)(4)(23) and |V{cs}|=1.015(10)(11)(106).  相似文献

Using a 492 fb{-1} data sample collected near the Upsilon(4S) resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e{+}e{-} collider, we observe the decay B{0}-->ppK*0 with a branching fraction of (1.18{-0.25}{+0.29}(stat)+/-0.11(syst))x10{-6}. We study the decay dynamics of B{0}-->ppK*0 and compare with B{+}-->ppK*+. The K*0 meson is found to be almost 100% polarized (with a fraction of (101+/-13+/-3)% in the helicity zero state), while the K*+ meson has a (32+/-17+/-9)% fraction in the helicity zero state. The direct CP asymmetries for B{0}-->ppK*0 and B{+}-->ppK*+ are measured to be -0.08+/-0.20+/-0.02 and -0.01+/-0.19+/-0.02, respectively. In addition, we report improved measurements of the branching fractions B(B{+}-->ppK*+)=(3.38{-0.60}{+0.73}+/-0.39)x10{-6} and B(B{0}-->ppK{0})=(2.51{-0.29}{+0.35}+/-0.21)x10{-6}, which supersede our previous measurements.  相似文献

The fully differential angular distribution for the rare flavor-changing neutral current decay $\bar{B}_{d}^{0} \to\bar{K}^{*0} (\to K^{-} \pi^{+}) \mu^{+}\mu^{-} $ is studied. The emphasis is placed on accurate treatment of the contribution from the processes $\bar{B}_{d}^{0} \to\bar{K}^{*0} (\to K^{-} \pi^{+}) V $ with intermediate vector resonances V=??(770),??(782),?(1020),J/??,??(2S),?? decaying into the ?? + ?? ? pair. The dilepton invariant-mass dependence of the branching ratio, longitudinal polarization fraction f L of the $\bar{K}^{*0}$ meson, and forward?Cbackward asymmetry A FB is calculated and compared with data from Belle, CDF and LHCb. It is shown that inclusion of the resonance contribution may considerably modify the branching ratio, calculated in the SM without resonances, even in the invariant-mass region far from the so-called charmonia cuts applied in the experimental analyses. This conclusion crucially depends on values of the unknown phases of the B 0??K ?0 J/?? and B 0??K ?0 ??(2S) decay amplitudes with zero helicity.  相似文献

We consider the τ leptonic decay $\tau\rightarrow l\bar{\nu}_{l}\nu_{\tau}$ in the framework of the littlest Higgs (LH) model and calculate the corrections of new particles to this decay. We find that the contributions of the charged scalars can be safely ignored and the LH model is in perfect agreement with the universality of the couplings of the SU gauge bosons to the leptonic charged currents. The corrections of the LH model to the τ leptonic decay $\tau\rightarrow l\bar{\nu}_{l}\nu_{\tau}$ are not sensitive to the parameter c, but depend strongly on the parameters f and x. The precision measured data about the τ leptonic decay demand that the parameter f approximately equal 3.5 TeV and x>0.1, while agree with the general expectation based on other phenomenological explorations.  相似文献

A full ligand-field energy matrix diagonalization treatment for 3d 1 ions in tetragonal symmetry is developed on the basis of the two spin?Corbit coupling parameter model, and the contributions of the spin?Corbit coupling of the ligand ions to the optical and electron paramagnetic resonance spectra are included. Spin Hamiltonian parameters of the tetragonal ${\rm V}^{4+}$ center in $\hbox{K}_2\hbox{SO}_4 {-} \hbox{Na}_2\hbox{SO}_4{-}\hbox{ZnSO}_4$ glass are calculated from the complete energy matrix diagonalization and the perturbation theory methods. The results calculated by both methods are not only close to each other but also in good agreement with the experimental values. Furthermore, the compressed defect structure of the ${\rm (VO_6)^{8-}}$ cluster is discussed.  相似文献

In general, clusters are unstable and in many cases several metastable isomers exist even at low temperature. Therefore, a cluster may react with a dramatic geometry change to a small disturbance such as a weak field or to the absorption of a low-energy photon. Here, we study the response of Al3O3-\mathrm{Al}_{3}\mathrm{O}_{3}^{-} to photoexcitation using time-resolved photoelectron spectroscopy. Earlier experimental and theoretical studies suggested that this cluster anion undergoes a geometry change after photoexcitation. In contrast, our time-resolved spectra indicate that photoexcitation triggers ultra-fast fragmentation. This example demonstrates that ultra-fast processes in clusters are not well understood and that it is still difficult to gain reliable experimental data about such processes.  相似文献

We report measurements of branching fractions for the decays B-->Plnu_{l}, where P are the pseudoscalar charmless mesons pi;{-}, pi;{0}, eta and eta;{'}, based on 348 fb;{-1} of data collected with the BABAR detector, using B0 and B+ mesons found in the recoil of a second B meson decaying as B-->D;{(*)}lnu_{l}. Assuming isospin symmetry, we combine pionic branching fractions to obtain B(B;{0}-->pi;{-}l;{+}nu_{l})=(1.54+/-0.17_{(stat)}+/-0.09_{(syst)})x10;{-4}; we find 3.2sigma evidence of the decay B;{+}-->etal;{+}nu_{l} and measure its branching fraction to be (0.64+/-0.20_{(stat)}+/-0.03_{(syst)})x10;{-4}, and determine B(B;{+}-->eta;{'}l;{+}nu_{l})<0.47x10;{-4} to 90% confidence level. Using partial branching fractions for the pionic decays in ranges of the momentum transfer and a variety of form factor calculation, we obtain values of the magnitude of the Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa matrix element |V_{ub}| in ranging from 3.6x10;{-3} to 4.1x10;{-3}.  相似文献

In this article, we study the $\frac{1} {2}^ -$ and $\frac{3} {2}^ -$ heavy and doubly heavy baryon states $\Sigma _Q \left( {\frac{1} {2}^ - } \right)$ , $\Xi '_Q \left( {\frac{1} {2}^ - } \right)$ , $\Omega _Q \left( {\frac{1} {2}^ - } \right)$ , $\Xi _{QQ} \left( {\frac{1} {2}^ - } \right)$ , $\Omega _{QQ} \left( {\frac{1} {2}^ - } \right)$ , $\Sigma _Q^* \left( {\frac{3} {2}^ - } \right)$ , $\Xi _Q^* \left( {\frac{3} {2}^ - } \right)$ , $\Omega _Q^* \left( {\frac{3} {2}^ - } \right)$ , $\Xi _{QQ}^* \left( {\frac{3} {2}^ - } \right)$ and $\Omega _{QQ}^* \left( {\frac{3} {2}^ - } \right)$ by subtracting the contributions from the corresponding $\frac{1} {2}^ +$ and $\frac{3} {2}^ +$ heavy and doubly heavy baryon states with the QCD sum rules in a systematic way, and make reasonable predictions for their masses.  相似文献

The \(B^{0}_{s}\to J/\psi f_{0}(980)\) decay offers an interesting experimental alternative to the well-known \(B^{0}_{s}\to J/\psi \phi\) channel for the search of CP-violating New-Physics contributions to \(B^{0}_{s}\)\(\bar{B}^{0}_{s}\) mixing. As the hadronic structure of the f 0(980) has not yet been settled, we take a critical look at the implications for the relevant observables and address recent experimental data. It turns out that the effective lifetime of \(B^{0}_{s}\to J/\psi f_{0}(980)\) and its mixing-induced CP asymmetry S are quite robust with respect to hadronic effects and thereby allow us to search for a large CP-violating \(B^{0}_{s}\)\(\bar{B}^{0}_{s}\) mixing phase ? s , which is tiny in the Standard Model. However, should small CP violation, i.e. in the range ?0.1?S?0, be found in \(B^{0}_{s}\to J/\psi f_{0}(980)\), it will be crucial to constrain hadronic corrections in order to distinguish possible New-Physics effects from the Standard Model. We point out that \(B^{0}_{d}\to J/\psi f_{0}(980)\), which has not yet been measured, is a key channel in this respect and discuss the physics potential of this decay.  相似文献

For over a decade, ultrathin superconducting films have been developed for the detection of single photons at optical or near infrared frequencies, with competitive performances in terms of quantum efficiency, speed, and low dark count rate. In order to avoid the requirement of helium refrigeration, we consider here the use of high temperature materials, known to achieve very fast responsiveness to laser irradiation. We excite thin filaments of the cuprate \(\hbox {YBa}_{2} \hbox {Cu}_{3} \hbox {O}_{7}\) by rectangular pulses of supercritical current so as to produce either a phase-slip centre (PSC) or a normal hot spot (HS), according to the temperature and the current amplitude selected. That procedure provides information about the maximum bias current to be used in a particle detector, about the return current back to the quiescent state after excitation, and about the rate of growth and decay of a HS. We also measure the time of PSC nucleation. A unique feature of that approach is to provide the rate of heat transfer between the film and its substrate at whatever temperature, in the superconducting state, in the practical conditions of operation.  相似文献

We perform a detailed study of temperature, bias, and doping dependence of interlayer transport in the layered high temperature superconductor Bi_{2}Sr_{2}CaCu_{2}O_{8+delta}. We observe that the shape of interlayer characteristics in underdoped crystals exhibits a remarkable crossover at the superconducting transition temperature: from thermal activation-type above T_{c} to almost T-independent quantum tunneling-type below T_{c}. Our data provide insight into the nature of interlayer transport and indicate that its mechanism changes with doping: from the conventional single quasiparticle tunneling in overdoped to a progressively increasing Cooper pair contribution in underdoped crystals.  相似文献

We report on a search for neutrinoless double-beta decay of ^{136}Xe with EXO-200. No signal is observed for an exposure of 32.5?kg?yr, with a background of ~1.5×10^{-3} kg^{-1}?yr^{-1}?keV^{-1} in the ±1σ region of interest. This sets a lower limit on the half-life of the neutrinoless double-beta decay T_{1/2}^{0νββ}(^{136}Xe)>1.6×10^{25} yr (90% C.L.), corresponding to effective Majorana masses of less than 140-380?meV, depending on the matrix element calculation.  相似文献

We have performed both Josephson and quasiparticle tunneling in vacuum tunnel junctions formed between a conventional superconducting scanning tunneling microscope tip and overdoped Bi_{2}Sr_{2}CaCu_{2}O_{8+delta} single crystals. A Josephson current is observed with a peak centered at a small finite voltage due to the thermal-fluctuation-dominated superconducting phase dynamics. Josephson measurements at different surface locations yield local values for the Josephson I_{C}R_{N} product. Corresponding energy gap measurements were also performed and a surprising inverse correlation was observed between the local I_{C}R_{N} product and the local energy gap.  相似文献

The theoretical calculations indicated that the monoclinic low-temperature phase of silver telluride $(\upbeta \hbox {-Ag}_{2}\hbox {Te})$ is a new binary topological insulator with highly anisotropic single Dirac cone surface. We obtained $\upbeta \hbox {-Ag}_{2}\hbox {Te}$ crystal ingots containing few grains by the Bridgman method. We also deposited thin films of tellurium, $\hbox {Ag}_{5}\hbox {Te}_{3}\hbox { and }(\hbox {Te+Ag}_{5}\hbox {Te}_{3})$ by thermal evaporation method. The Raman spectra of $\upbeta \hbox {-Ag}_{2}\hbox {Te}$ , tellurium and $\hbox {Ag}_{5}\hbox {Te}_{3}$ were measured at three excitation wave lengths: 633, 515 and 488 nm. The Raman active modes of $\upbeta \hbox {-Ag}_{2}\hbox {Te}$ , tellurium and $\hbox {Ag}_{5}\hbox {Te}_{3}$ are situated at frequencies below 300  $\hbox {cm}^{-1}$ while vibrations of other phases appear at higher frequencies.  相似文献
