We report, for what we believe to be the first time, on the feasibility of remote time-resolved filament-induced breakdown spectroscopy (FIBS) of biological materials. The fluorescence from egg white and yeast powder, induced by femtosecond laser pulse filamentation in air, was detected in the backward direction with targets located 3.5 m away from the detection system. The remarkably distinct spectra of egg white and yeast allow us to propose that this technique, time-resolved FIBS, could be potentially useful for remote detection and identification of harmful biological agents.  相似文献

In this work, we investigated the fluorescence emission spectra and diffusion properties of dye molecules confined in different positions of conical nanopore channels using a laser scanning confocal fluorescence microscope. The results showed that a red shift of the emission spectra is observed from the tip section to the bottom section and the diffusion rate is slower in the channel than that in bulk solution, indicating a single conical nanopore channel can be used as a convenient tool for investigating the effect of confined space on the behaviors of molecules.  相似文献

Remote filament-induced fluorescence spectroscopy is used to probe a cloud of smoke, produced from burning mosquito coils, located at a distance of 25 m from the laser source and LIDAR detector. CN, CH and C2 molecular fragments were identified in the sample. We demonstrate that temporally gated measurement is an efficient technique to easily suppress spectral contaminations, such as white light and atmospheric N2 fluorescence.  相似文献

The mobile femtosecond laser facility T&T (terawatt & terahertz) of DRDC-Valcartier was used to detect trace methane gas remotely in an open field atmosphere during daytime (with strong sun light) using filament-induced fluorescence spectroscopy. Comparison of the results obtained in the laboratory and in the field validates the long range extrapolations of short distance results taken in our laboratory in the past. This could be considered a breakthrough for remote sensing based on filamentation.  相似文献

We demonstrate a simple technique to filter out the continuum background in filament-induced remote breakdown spectroscopy. By inserting a polarizer before the detector, the continuum background was reduced by more than 42% in filament-induced breakdown spectroscopy at a distance of 3.8 m, while the fluorescence intensity of aluminum atomic lines remains constant. Supercontinuum through self-phase modulation during filamentation mainly contributes to the continuum background. The polarization-gated technique provides a simple way to remove the continuum background in filament-induced remote breakdown spectroscopy.  相似文献

We demonstrate the feasibility of filament-induced breakdown spectroscopy (FIBS) for remote sensing of solid samples in a polar environment. FIBS spectra from an aluminum target induced by 800-nm laser pulses propagating in air were probed. The air visibility in an open winter field was as low as 3.2 km fluctuating with precipitation, pressure and relative humidity. Under such polar condition, clean spectral Al I lines from an aluminum target located at a distance of 60 m were obtained. This shows the technique FIBS could be potentially useful for sensing remote targets in a variety of polar environments.  相似文献

利用飞秒激光脉冲在NaCl溶液中成丝,研究了溶液温度对飞秒激光成丝过程中产生的超连续谱的影响.发现在激光脉冲能量较低时,溶液温度对超连续谱的影响几乎可以忽略;而在激光脉冲能量较高时,随着NaCl溶液温度的升高,超连续谱呈现出被压缩的趋势.此外,在激光脉冲能量较高的情况下, NaCl中会产生大量的气泡.通过分析,得出了飞秒激光在溶液中成丝产生的气泡是影响超连续谱发射的主要因素.  相似文献

In filament-induced fluorescence spectroscopy, we experimentally found that if the lens used for the creation and localization of filament is tilted, the signal to noise ratio of spectral measurement increases. Further study shows that with lens tilting, astigmatism occurs and the filament is split into shorter parts. In turn the shortening of filament reduces the generation of white light which is the major ‘noise’ source of the spectra.  相似文献

This paper summarizes the results obtained by fluorescence spectroscopic techniques with conventional and laser light sources for the characterization of the spectral luminescent properties of aquatic humic substances (AHS). The band profiles of corrected absorption, fluorescence emission, and fluorescence excitation spectra are compared in graphical form with unique functions used for the axes. In order to calculate the quantum efficiency of fluorescence, we used the Raman signal from water molecules as an internal reference. The temperature dependence of the fluorescence spectra of humic matter has been recorded in solid (?160°C to 0°C) and in liquid (0°C to +300°C) aqueous solutions. The behavior of the fluorescence band shape is discussed. A new method of nonlinear fluorimetry is proposed to enhance the capabilities of fluorescence spectroscopy. This method is based on the fluorescence saturation effect manifesting itself under powerful laser pumping (excitation) conditions. The use of the technique allows one to determine certain photophysical properties of molecules, as a complement to the normal spectral data. Using three different samples of aquatic humic substances with very similar fluorescence band shapes, it is demonstrated that these compounds have distinct molecular luminescent parameters and therefore, can be identified. The similarity of the fluorescence band shapes of humic substances in natural water of different types; the absence of any noticeable effect of temperature across a wide range and the fluorescence saturation on the fluorescence band contour can be explained. This assumes that in all of the samples of aquatic humic substances studied, with different molecular weight fractions, that there is a single dominant fluorescent functionality present.  相似文献

系统地研究了不同聚焦条件下飞秒激光空气等离子体的荧光辐射特性以及空间演化情况.在紧聚焦情况下,由于焦点附近比较高的激光强度以及比较高的电子密度,辐射光谱表现为连续谱和线状原子光谱的叠加.在弱聚焦情况下,辐射光谱主要由很多分子线谱组成,而没有观测到连续谱的产生.还研究了光谱谱线强度随激光传输距离的演化情况,结果显示,光谱谱线的强度变化在一定程度上间接反映了等离子体细丝的演化情况.  相似文献

Novel aminophthalimide derivatives were synthesized starting from (3aR,7aS)-2-(2-hydroxypropyl)-3a,4,7,7a–tetrahydro-1H-isoindole-1,3(2H)-dione (9) , and solvent effects on the photo-physical properties of these newly synthesized aminophthalimide derivatives (compounds 14 and 15) were investigated using UV-Vis absorption spectroscopy, steady-state and time-resolved fluorescence measurements. Both absorption and fluorescence spectra exhibited bathochromic shift with the increased polarity of the solvents for both molecules. Solute-solvent interactions were analyzed using the Lippert-Mataga and Bakhshiev polarity functions, and Kamlet-Taft and Catalan multiple linear regression approaches. The results revealed that these two molecules experienced specific interactions. Furthermore, photo-physical parameters were calculated for both molecules in all of the solvents, such as the fluorescence quantum yield, fluorescence lifetime, radiative (kr) and non-radiative (knr) rate constant values. It was observed that the fluorescence quantum yield values decreased linearly with increasing solvent polarity. This study proved the new dyes including isopropyl methanesulfonate group displayed different behavior from previous studies of aminophthalimide derivatives in water. It was recommended that these new dyes having interesting properties by changing solvent can be used various applications such as environmentally sensitive fluorescent probes, labels in biology, laser industry.  相似文献

Influence of the solvent environments, pumping pulse energies and concentrations on the spectral properties of 1,2,3,8-tetrahydro-1,2,3,3,5-pentamethyl-7H-pyrrolo[3,2-g]quinolin-7-one (LD-423) have been investigated. The photophysical characteristics such as absorption, fluorescence spectra, Stokes’ shift, fluorescence quantum yield, absorption, emission cross sections, extinction coefficient and amplified spontaneous emission (ASE) were measured. Here, LD-423 showed two ASE in a certain organic solution under pulsed laser excitation (Nd: YAG λex?=?355 nm). One of these peaks corresponds to the fluorescence, while the other peak is an anomalous peak which does not have a corresponding fluorescence peak. This abnormal ASE peak can be ascribed to the fact that the excited molecules are connected in the excited state and the solvent acts as a link between them.  相似文献

将荧光光谱和光声光谱两种互补的探测技术结合起来,从辐射和无辐射跃迁两个方面,分析了 532nm激光作用下,NO2分子的激发和弛豫过程.发现NO2分子在激光作用下,将跃迁至第一激发电子态.当样品气压较低时,受激NO2分子除辐射荧光外,可通过快速的内能转移过程实现在几个振转能级的再布居;随样品气压的升高,分子间碰撞加剧,受激NO2分子通过分子间的碰撞,实现在多个振转能级的再布居.激光布居能级的荧光辐射效率随样品气压的升高逐渐降低,而长波区域的荧光辐射及光声信号强度逐渐增强,说明在高样品气压条件下,受激NO2分子的弛豫过程除辐射荧光外,还存在很强的碰撞弛豫过程,在碰撞弛豫过程中受激NO2分子将振动能转化为热运动的平动能,引起温度升高而产生很强的声信号.  相似文献

A new method for measuring low-temperature absorption spectra of single impurity molecules using a laser confocal polarized-light transmission microscope is proposed. The sensitivity of this method is of the same order of magnitude as that of fluorescence excitation spectroscopy. Combined use of both methods makes it possible to study distributions of impurity molecules by the magnitude of fluorescence quantum yield and their correlations with the linewidth distributions, as well as to determine if spectral jumps lead to changes in the fluorescence quantum yield.  相似文献

本文通过吸收光谱、表面增强垃曼光谱、荧光光谱等手段研究了银纳米粒子与罗丹明6G(R6G)分子之间的相互作用,结果表明:银纳米粒子表面与R6G分子之间存在电荷转移效应。表现为吸收谱长波方向出现银粒子-R6G复合体的吸收带,R6G分子的拉曼振动模得到显著增强,而其荧光得到明显猝灭;AgN特征拉曼振动带的出现服银米粒子与R6G分子是通过银粒表面的活位与R6G分子中的氮原子配位形成复合体而发生电荷转移的。  相似文献

The solid host of a laser dye modifies its spectroscopic properties with respect to its liquid host. During the Sol-Gel process the dye molecules suffer from changing their environment. Two parameters affect this matter, the change in the concentration due to the evaporation of the solvent (drying) and the caging of dye molecules inside the pores or attachment to the silica network. Rhodamine 6G absorption and fluorescence spectra with different concentrations, during Sol-Gel time processing, have been studied. Both, absorption and fluorescence spectra of the dye in the solid host, for different concentrations, show a blue-shift relative to its liquid phase.  相似文献

Absorption spectra of NO2 with reduced Doppler width and resolved hyperfine structure have been obtained by crossing the beam from a single mode argon laser, tunable around 4880 and 5145 Å, with a well-collimated NO2 beam at low pressures. With the laser frequency stabilized onto selected NO2 absorption lines the fluorescence spectra of NO2 molecules in selectively populated hfs levels of an excited electronic state were examined through a grating monochromator which resolved the different rotational lines. From the fluorescence spectra the quantum numbers N′ and K′ of the emitting levels could be determined. The analysis proved that some emitting levels have K′-values differing from that of the primarily excited level. This implies radiationless transitions between different electronic states in the free molecule, which can change the value of K′ but preserve that of N′.  相似文献

Six atomic spectral lines induced by NaRb molecules in the absorption spectrum of sodium-rubidium vapour have been observed in the wavelength range 611–641 nm. For sodium-rubidium vapour, the laser induced fluorescence spectra at laser wavelengths 616.04 and 615.81 nm and the excitation spectra at sodiumD-lines with the laser scanning in the range 613.9–616.9 nm have also been measured. The possible mechanisms for the appearance of these absorption lines are discussed.  相似文献

Under strongcw-excitation ruby crystals exhibit complex anti-Stokes fluorescence spectra in the near ultraviolet. Based on ring dye laser excitation spectra, fluorescence decay and concentration dependence, we show that these spectra can be decomposed into single ion emissions and a cooperative emission at the double energy of the2 E4 A 2 transition. The unusual vibronic sideband of the latter suggests a general mechanism for the coupling of distant ions in polar insulators involving the electric field of longitudinal optical phonons.Work supported by Sonderforschungsbereich 65 Frankfurt/Darmstadt  相似文献

大功率超快脉冲激光和气体相互作用可产生非线性荧光光谱,不同的气体分子具有不同的非线性荧光光谱。因而这种光谱可以作为物质的指纹模式加以识别分类,进而获知气体的成分。由于不同气体分子的光谱在同一波段上有很大的交叉重叠,用传统的光谱分析方法分析存在困难,采用神经网络方法分析上述非线性荧光光谱,利用经过预处理的荧光光谱数据作为模式样本,其中一部分样本作为学习样本对级联神经网络进行训练,用训练好的网络对所有样本进行实时识别,学习样本和测试样本的的正确识别率均可达100%,结果表明此方法可实时判断混合气体的组分。  相似文献
