We report measurements of magnetoresistive remanence curves and initial magnetoresistance curves on Co/Cu multilayers. The initial magnetoresistance curve shows an enhance magnetoresistance change over that of the hysteretic magnetoresistance curve. Using remanence curves we are able to separate out the irreversible and reversible components contributing to the magnetoresistance. We show that it is irreversible changes of resistance within the multilayers from an initial low energy demagnetised state that is responsible for this ‘extra’ magnetoresistance.  相似文献

用熔体快淬法制备了Pr2Fe14B/α-Fe纳米复合永磁样品.测量了样品的起始磁化、反磁化过程、矫顽力和剩磁与外场的关系,以及样品的磁粘滞性.经分析认为材料的矫顽力主要由非均匀的钉扎机理决定,但由于交换硬化的软磁相的可逆转动使得这种反磁化机理不同于单相永磁材料的钉扎行为.磁粘滞性表明热激活主要源于硬磁相的不可逆磁化行为. 关键词: 纳米复合永磁 矫顽力 剩磁 磁粘滞  相似文献

The magnetization behavior in nanocrystalline permanent magnets has been investigated using mean field Stoner–Wohlfarth model. The model is comparatively simple but allows the numerical treatment of extended nanostructures. The predominant intergrain exchange coupling is expressed by a mean field constant Nm in spite of no explicit relationship between Nm and the microstructure. By this model, the experimental phenomena, such as the remanence enhancement, the shape of demagnetization curve, the irreversible magnetization, the exchange bias field and their respective temperature dependence, can be well explained. The Nm dependence of magnetic properties has been extensively discussed in the present paper.  相似文献

根据实验数据,构造了接近实际纳米晶永磁Pr2Fe14B的样品,用微磁学有限元法进行了模拟计算.计算结果表明,晶界处各向异性的下降会导致矫顽力减小、剩磁值增大,而晶界处交换作用常数的减小则会使剩磁值减小、矫顽力增大.通过对实验样品的模拟研究发现,晶界处各向异性和交换作用常数的共同减小能够同时拟合出真实的矫顽力和剩磁值.模拟计算与实验在退磁曲线形状上的差距则说明模拟还存在不足. 关键词: 纳米晶永磁 磁滞回线 矫顽力 剩磁  相似文献

本文就纳米复合永磁材料中软磁相被交换硬化问题,从一维模型和三维模拟计算进行了分析研究. 一维和三维各向异性样品研究表明,在相同微结构下,当硬磁相的各向异性降低时,除矫顽力降低外,在磁矩全部反转之前退磁曲线是一样的. 因此,硬磁相各向异性的降低不会导致最大磁能积(BH)max增大和剩磁增加. 对于三维各向同性样品的模拟计算表明,降低硬磁相的各向异性会使剩磁和(BH)max都明显降低. 因此,增强硬磁相的各向异性并增大硬磁相晶粒尺寸是提高 关键词: 纳米复合永磁 矫顽力 剩磁 磁能积  相似文献

用电弧熔炼法制备了Nd3.6Pr5.4Fe83Co3B5合金铸锭,然后利用熔旋快淬法在铜辊转速V=20m/s下制备了Nd3.6Pr5.4Fe83Co3B5薄带.快淬带主要由软磁相α-Fe和Nd2Fe14B型的硬磁相组成.采用直流退磁剩磁曲线方法分析了样品在反磁化过程中的可逆与不可逆磁化部分,并研究了软磁相和硬磁相的反磁化行为,得到样品的不可逆磁化形核场Hno约为440kA/m.同时研究了样品的磁黏滞性,结果表明由于软磁相的存在使得热激活体积较大. 关键词:  相似文献

The effect of gallium added by blending method on the magnetic properties, thermal stability and microstructure of Nd16.5Dy16.0Fe53.45Co13.0B1.05 (wt%) sintered magnets was investigated. The experimental results show that an appropriate Ga addition can markedly increase the coercivity, reduce the irreversible loss and slightly enhance the remanence. For instance, by adding 0.5 wt% Ga, the coercivity is increased from 1232 to 1819 kA/m; the irreversible loss after being exposed at 200°C for 0.5 h is reduced from above 33% to below 5%. Microstructure analyses show that the grain boundaries of the magnets with and without Ga addition are substantially different. The grain boundaries of the Ga-free magnet are meandrous. On the other hand, most of the boundaries of Ga-containing magnets are straight and smooth. These characteristics can be explained by the appearance of new phases during sintering process.  相似文献

We have investigated the exchange coupling of Co/Cr(0 0 1) superlattices by polar and longitudinal magneto-optical Kerr effect measurements, by varying both the Co and Cr film thicknesses. At a Co thickness of ≈10 Å a nearly perpendicular anisotropy is found with antiferromagnetic order in the range of 5–15 Å of Cr thickness. For these superlattices the magnetization curve starting from remanence to saturation is characterized by a surface spin-flip transition at low field, followed by domain wall nucleation and motion, and finally by a coherent spin rotation with increasing field. Antiferromagnetic coupling is also observed for superlattices with thicker Co layers and with in-plane magnetic anisotropy.  相似文献

Numerical micromagnetic calculations using finite-element techniques allow a quantitative treatment of the correlation between the microstructure and the basic magnetic properties of two-phase permanent magnets such as the remanence, the coercive field and the maximum energy product. For the investigation of (A) the role of the amount of the soft magnetic phase, and (B) the effect of grain shape, realistic three-dimensional grain arrangements have been used. The numerical results show that both short-range exchange and long-range magnetostatic interactions determine the magnetic properties. The optimal microstructure of an isotropic nanocrystalline permanent magnet was found to consist of soft magnetic particles with a large spontaneous magnetization embedded between hard magnetic grains. Exchange interactions than enhance the remanence of isotropic, composite magnets of Nd2Fe14B and -Fe by about 60%. Because of exchange hardening the soft magnetic phase can be increased up to 50% without a significant loss of coercivity. A uniform grain structure suppresses strong demagnetizing fields and this increases coercivity by 30% as compared with irregular shaped particles.  相似文献

Detrital magnetic materials within cave stalagmitic formations, e.g., haematite or magnetite, carry remanence whose vector is of value in dating. Magnetometry measurements on a particular haematite‐bearing sample reveal that remanence was substantially restored and/or conserved on rewarming after cooling below the Morin transition temperature. Mössbauer measurements indicate the presence of two types of haematite, distinguished primarily by particle size. The majority is small in size, partially exhibiting superparamagnetism, and does not undergo a Morin transition above liquid nitrogen temperature. Superparamagnetic goethite is the second major component. Mine haematite samples of surface location with different color and mineralogical composition have also been studied. Possible relations between the mineralogical composition of the mine samples and detrital stalagmitic magnetic material, the modifications and the origin of this mineralization are discussed. Special attention is paid to the “irreversible” Morin transition in large enough (>20 nm) haematite particles and the possible loss of natural remanent magnetization and hence of palaeomagnetic records.  相似文献

It is proved theoretically that the intrinsic distribution of particle coercivities in a magnetic recording medium can be obtained by differentiating the dc remanence curve. The coercivity distribution is hardly influenced by the orientation distribution of the particle easy-axis.  相似文献

Magnetization reversal in magnetic soft/hard bilayer systems is studied analytically by means of a variational method for magnetic energies in a continuum model. The demagnetization curve is involved with nonlinear equations,and the solution is given implicitly in the form of Jacobi functions,which is valid for the total reversal process. Based on the non-trivial solutions, hysteresis loops, as well as the maximum energy product(BH)_(max) versus thicknesses of soft/hard layers are obtained. With regard to(BH)_(max), improvement of the remanence competes with loss of coercive force. As a result, an optimum condition exists. For a given thickness of the hard layer, the optimum condition at which the largest(BH)_(max) could be achieved is discussed, which is slightly different from previous works.  相似文献

The relation between microscopic properties (e.e.,layer thickness,easy axis orientation) and the macroscopic magnetic properties such as remanent magnetization of the ferromagnetic multilayer system is investigated based on a simple micromagnet approach.We concentrate on a multilayer design with periodic boundary condition,where alternating soft/hard layers build a nanostructured multilayer.For any easy axis direction in the soft and hard layers a simple explicit expression of remanence of the system has been derived analytically.We find that the remanence clearly depends on the thickness of the soft magnetic layer and is nearly independent of the thickness of hard magnetic layer.On the other hand,the remanence increases upon reducing the angle enclosed by the saturation magnetization and the easy axis directions of soft magnetic layer.However,it is unsensitive to the easy axis direction of hard magnetic layer,but there exists a maximum remanence for a certain easy axis direction of hard magnetic layer.  相似文献

研究了不同载荷作用下Tb0.3Dy0.7Fe2合金在压磁和磁弹性效应中磁畴偏转的滞回特性. 基于Stoner-Wolhfarth模型的能量极小原理, 采用绘制自由能-磁畴偏转角度关系曲线的求解方法, 研究了压磁和磁弹性效应中载荷作用下的磁畴角度偏转和磁化过程, 计算分析了不同载荷作用下磁畴偏转的滞回特性. 研究表明, 压磁和磁弹性效应中磁畴偏转均存在明显的滞回、跃迁效应, 其中磁化强度的滞回效应来源于磁畴偏转的角度跃迁; 压磁效应中预加磁场的施加将增大磁化强度的滞回, 同时使滞回曲线向大压应力方向偏移; 磁弹性效应中磁畴偏转的滞回存在两个临界磁场强度, 不同磁场强度下合金具有不同的磁畴偏转路径和磁化滞回曲线, 临界磁场强度的大小取决于预压应力的施加. 理论分析对类磁致伸缩材料磁畴偏转模型的完善和材料器件的设计应用非常有意义.  相似文献

Magnetization reversal process in a single nickel microbelt is investigated by measuring magnetoresistance (MR). A hysteresis MR curve is observed, which consists of a reversible bell-shaped curve under high magnetic field and an irreversible discontinuity under low magnetic field. A micromagnetic simulation is performed for understanding the underlying physics behind the MR curve. The hysteresis is ascribed to the competition of exchange energy and Zeeman energy, and the irreversible discontinuity is attributed to the formation of domain walls and vortices.  相似文献

This paper deals with Mössbauer measurements of frozen solutions of FeCl2 in water in the temperature range from ?180 °C to their melting point. For thermally quenched solutions 3 different states, connected by irreversible transitions, are observed in quadrupole splittings and isomer shifts. For slowly cooled solutions two different phases, connected by an irreversible transition, are likewise observed. In both cases, those phases persistent until the melting point, are identical.  相似文献

During the last decade several methods to control the vortex chirality in nanodots have been proposed. One of them, the introduction of asymmetry in the geometry of the dots, originates interesting effects on the magnetic behavior of the particle. However, asymmetry in core-free structures is also interesting to investigate because of the reproducibility of their magnetic properties. In this work we report systematic changes in the coercivity and remanence in asymmetric nanorings. The angular dependence is also addressed. For specific geometries and magnetic field direction newly reversal modes appear associated with important changes in the coercivity and remanence of the rings.  相似文献

The influences of the spacer-layer Ta on the structures and magnetic properties of Nd Fe B/Nd Ce Fe B multilayer films are investigated via DC sputtering under an Ar pressure of 1.2 Pa. An obvious(00l) texture of the hard phase is observed in each of the films, which indicates that the main phase of the film does not significantly change with Ta spacer-layer thickness. As a result, both the remanence and the saturation magnetization of the magnet first increase and then decrease,and the maximum values of 4πM_r and H_(cj) are 10.4 k Gs(1 Gs = 10_(-4)T) and 15.0 kOe(1 Oe = 79.5775 A·m_(-1)) for the film with a 2-nm-thick Ta spacer-layer, respectively, where the crystalline structures are columnar shape particles. The measured relationship between irreversible portion D(H) =-?M_(irr)/2 M_r and H indicates that the nucleation field of the film decreases with spacer layer thickness increasing, owing to slightly disordered grains near the interface between different magnetic layers.  相似文献

The correspondence between the crystallographic texture and intergranular exchange coupling interactions, with the switching mechanism and the thermal response of the magnetization in CoCrPt–SiO2 perpendicular recording media was investigated. Virgin hysteresis and isothermal remanence magnetization measurements both showed a three-stage process, which was interpreted to indicate that the Stoner–Wohlfarth coherent reversal mode is the dominant switching mechanism irrespective of the texture. For media samples with similar degree of texture, improvement in exchange decoupling of the media grains caused an increase in the onset field for the virgin magnetization process. The thermal decay of the magnetization, evaluated via the field-dependent viscosity coefficient peaked near the nucleation field, and the peak value showed a strong dependence on the strength of the exchange coupling interactions. A model establishing the role of the texture and exchange interactions in perpendicular recording media is put forth.  相似文献
