By reacting Keggin-type polyoxometalate cluster anions H(2)W(12)O(40)(6)(-) (metatungstate) or Co(II)W(12)O(40)(6)(-) (tungstocobaltate) with the large aluminum cluster polycation [Al(30)O(8)(OH)(56)(H(2)O)(26)](18+), Keggin ion based molecular ionic compounds [delta-Al(13)O(4)(OH)(24)(H(2)O)(12)][XW(12)O(40)](OH).nH(2)O (X = H(2) (1) and Co (2); n congruent with 20) and [W(2)Al(28)O(18)(OH)(48)(H(2)O)(24)][H(2)W(12)O(40)](2).55H(2)O (3) were obtained. The polygon-shaped cluster ions are packed alternately through intercluster hydrogen bonds as well as electrostatic interactions, leaving large pores, which result from the packing of large clusters. The clusters are arranged in square pyramidal geometries, showing face-to-face interactions between them. The isolation of metastable [delta-Al(13)O(4)(OH)(24)(H(2)O)(12)](7+) and the formation of a new transition metal substituted aluminum heteropolycation [W(2)Al(28)O(18)(OH)(48)(H(2)O)(24)](12+) in 1-3 result from the slow fragmentation and recombination of Al(30) in the presence of suitable counter cluster anions with similar shape and charge.  相似文献

The synthesis of the nanoscaled bismuth oxido clusters [Bi(38)O(45)(NO(3))(20)(DMSO)(28)](NO(3))(4)·4DMSO (1a) and [Bi(38)O(45)(OH)(2)(pTsO)(8)(NO(3))(12)(DMSO)(24)](NO(3))(2)·4DMSO·2H(2)O (2) starting from the basic bismuth nitrate [Bi(6)O(4)(OH)(4)](NO(3))(6)·H(2)O is reported herein. Single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis, ESI mass spectrometry, thermogravimetric analysis, and molecular dynamics simulation were used to study the formation, structure, and stability of these large metal oxido clusters. Compounds 1a and 2 are based on a [Bi(38)O(45)](24+) core, which is structurally related to δ-Bi(2)O(3). Examination of the fragmentation pathways of 1a and 2 by infrared multi-photon dissociation (IRMPD) tandem MS experiments allows the identification of novel bismuth oxido cluster species in the gas phase.  相似文献

The reaction of the bismuth silanolates [Bi(OSiR2R')3] (R = R' = Me, Et, iPr; R = Me, R' = tBu) with water has been studied. Partial hydrolysis gave polynuclear bismuth-oxo clusters whereas amorphous bismuth-oxo(hydroxy) silanolates were obtained when an excess of water was used in the hydrolysis reaction. The metathesis reaction of BiCl3 with NaOSiMe3 provided mixtures of heterobimetallic silanolates. The molecular structures of [Bi18Na4O20(OSiMe3)18] (2), [Bi33NaO38(OSiMe3)24].3 C7H8 (3.3 C7H8), [Bi50Na2O64(OH)2(OSiMe3)22].2 C7H8.2H2O (4.2 C7H8.2 H2O), [Bi4O2(OSiEt3)8] (5), [Bi9O7(OSiMe3)13].0.5 C7H8 (6. 0.5C7H8), [Bi18O18(OSiMe3)18)].2C7H8 (7. 2C7H8) and [Bi20O18(OSiMe3)24].3C7H8 (8.3C7H8) are presented and compared with the solid-state structures of [Bi22O26(OSiMe2tBu)14] (9) and beta-Bi2O3. Compound 2 crystallises in the triclinic space group P1 with the lattice constants a = 17.0337(9), b = 19.5750(14), c = 26.6799(16) A, alpha = 72.691(4), beta = 73.113(4) and gamma = 70.985(4) degrees ; compound 3.3C7H8 crystallises in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/n with the lattice constants a = 20.488(4), b = 22.539(5), c = 26.154(5) A and beta = 100.79(3) degrees ; compound 4.2C7H82 H2O crystallises in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/n with the lattice constants a = 20.0518(12), b = 24.1010(15), c = 27.4976(14) A and beta = 103.973(3) degrees ; compound 5 crystallises in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/c with the lattice constants a = 25.256(5), b = 15.372(3), c = 21.306(4) A and beta = 113.96(3) degrees ; compound 6.0.5C7H8 crystallises in the triclinic space group P1 with the lattice constants a = 15.1916(9), b = 15.2439(13), c = 22.487(5) A, alpha = 79.686(3), beta = 74.540(5) and gamma = 66.020(4) degrees ; compound 7.2C7H8 crystallises in the triclinic space group P1 with the lattice constants a = 14.8295(12), b = 16.1523(13), c = 18.4166(17) A, alpha = 75.960(4), beta = 79.112(4) and gamma = 63.789(4) degrees ; and compound 8.3C7H8 crystallises in the triclinic space group P1 with the lattice constants a = 17.2915(14), b = 18.383(2), c = 18.4014(18) A, alpha = 95.120(5), beta = 115.995(5) and gamma = 106.813(5) degrees . The molecular structures of the bismuth-rich compounds are related to the CaF2-type structure. Formally, the hexanuclear [Bi6O8]2+ fragment might be described as the central building unit, which is composed of bismuth atoms placed at the vertices of an octahedron and oxygen atoms capping the trigonal faces. Depending on the reaction conditions and the identity of R, the thermal decomposition of the hydrolysis products [Bi(n)O(l)(OH)(m-)(OSiR3)(3n-(2l-m))] gives alpha-Bi2O3, beta-Bi2O3, Bi12SiO20 or Bi4Si3O12.  相似文献

Organic-inorganic hybrid materials based on polyoxometalate building blocks with capping La3+ ions and bidentate oxygenated ligands have been obtained by reaction at room temperature of the [epsilon-PMo12O36(OH)4[La(H2O)4]]5+ polyoxocation with glutarate (C5H6O(2)(2-)) and squarate (C4O(4)(2-)) organic ligands. [epsilon-PMo12O37(OH)3[La(H2O)4(C5H6O4)0.5]4].21 H2O (1) and [epsilon-PMo12O39(OH)[La(H2O)6]2-[La(H2O)5(C4O4)0.5]2].17 H2O (2) form unprecedented 1D chains built from alternating polyoxocations and organic ligands connected through LaO links. The structures of these materials are compared to the 2D hybrid organic-inorganic framework [NC4H12]2-[Mo22O52(OH)18[La(H2O)4]2[La(CH3CO2)2]4].8H2O (3) isolated from the hydrothermal reaction of elemental precursors (MoO(4)(2-), Mo, La3+) in acetate buffer. Compound 3 is built from previously undescribed polyoxometalate units with twenty-two MoV centers capped by six La3+ ions, four of which are bridged by acetate ligands.  相似文献

Bismuth(III) compounds containing the Kl?ui's oxygen tripodal ligand [CpCo{P(O)(OEt)(2)}(3)](-) (L(OEt)(-)) have been synthesized, and their interactions with dichromate in aqueous media were studied. The treatment of Bi(5)O(OH)(9)(NO(3))(4) with NaL(OEt) in water afforded [L(OEt)Bi(NO(3))(2)](2) (1), whereas that of BiCl(3) with NaL(OEt) in CH(2)Cl(2) yielded L(OEt)BiCl(2) (2). Chloride abstraction of 2 with AgX afforded [L(OEt)BiX(2)](2) [X(-) = triflate (OTf(-)) (3), tosylate (OTs(-)) (4)]. In aqueous solutions at pH > 4, 4 underwent ligand redistribution to give the bis(tripod) complex [(L(OEt))(2)Bi(H(2)O)][OTs] (5). The treatment of 4 with Na(2)Cr(2)O(7) in acetone/water afforded the Bi(III)/Cr(VI) oxo cluster [(L(OEt))(4)Bi(4)(μ(3)-CrO(4))(2)(μ(3)-Cr(2)O(7))(2)] (6) containing a unique Bi(4)Cr(4)O(12) oxometallic core. Compound 6 oxidized benzyl alcohol to give ca. 6 equiv of benzaldehyde. The reaction between 2 and CrO(3) yielded [L(OEt)Bi(OCrO(2)Cl)](2)(μ-Cl)(2) (7). The crystal structures of complexes 4-7 have been determined.  相似文献

The reaction of the basic bismuth nitrate [Bi(6)O(4)(OH)(4)](NO(3))(6)·H(2)O with sodium methacrylate in DMSO gave [Bi(38)O(45)(OMc)(24)(DMSO)(9)]·2DMSO·7H(2)O (OMc = O(2)CC(3)H(5)), which is highly soluble in organic solvents. By copolymerization of the bismuth oxido cluster with methyl methacrylate transparent, radiopaque organic-inorganic hybrid materials were obtained.  相似文献

The room-temperature crystallization of [C(6)N(2)H(18)][Zn(HPO(4))(H(2)PO(4))(2)], an organically templated zinc phosphate containing [Zn(2)(HPO(4))(2)(H(2)PO(4))(4)](4)(-) molecular anions, and its transformation to compounds containing either one- or two-dimensional inorganic components, [C(6)N(2)H(18)][Zn(3)(H(2)O)(4)(HPO(4))(4)], [C(4)N(2)H(12)][Zn(HPO(4))(2)(H(2)O)], or [C(3)N(2)H(6)][Zn(4)(OH)(PO(4))(3)], under hydrothermal conditions were studied in-situ using energy-dispersive X-ray diffraction. The ability to collect data during reactions in a large volume ( approximately 23 mL) Teflon-lined autoclave under real laboratory conditions has allowed for the elucidation of kinetic and mechanistic information. Kinetic data have been determined by monitoring changes in the integrated peak intensities of Bragg reflections and have been modeled using the Avrami-Erofe'ev expression. The crystallization of [C(6)N(2)H(18)][Zn(HPO(4))(H(2)PO(4))(2)] is a diffusion-controlled process, while nucleation is increasingly more important in determining the overall rate of the formation of [C(6)N(2)H(18)][Zn(3)(H(2)O)(4)(HPO(4))(4)], [C(4)N(2)H(12)][Zn(HPO(4))(2)(H(2)O)], and [C(3)N(2)H(6)][Zn(4)(OH)(PO(4))(3)]. The transformation of [C(6)N(2)H(18)][Zn(HPO(4))(H(2)PO(4))(2)] to [C(4)N(2)H(12)][Zn(HPO(4))(2)(H(2)O)] and [C(3)N(2)H(6)][Zn(4)(OH)(PO(4))(3)] occurs via a dissolution-reprecipitation mechanism, while the transformation to [C(6)N(2)H(18)][Zn(3)(H(2)O)(4)(HPO(4))(4)] may be the first observation of a direct topochemical conversion of one organically templated solid to another under hydrothermal conditions.  相似文献

The reaction of triphenylbismuth [BiPh(3)] with several heterocyclic carboxylic acids was explored. Seven crystalline compounds, [PhBi(2-O(2)C-3-(OH)C(5)H(3)N)(2)(2-O(2)C-3-(OH)C(5)H(3)NH)] (5), [(Bi(2-O(2)C-3-(OH)C(5)H(3)N)(4))(C(5)H(5)NH)(C(5)H(5)N)] (7), [PhBi(2-O(2)C-C(4)H(3)N(2))(2)(2-O(2)C-C(4)H(4)N(2))·H(2)O] (8), [PhBi(2-O(2)C-C(9)H(6)N)(2)·H(2)O] (9), [Ph(2)Bi(O(2)C-C(4)H(3)O)] (10), [Ph(2)Bi(O(2)C-C(4)H(3)S)] (11) and [PhBi(O(2)C-C(4)H(3)S)(2)](2) (12), were prepared by simple reactions using BiPh(3) and the corresponding acids, 3-hydroxypicolinic acid, pyrazine-2-carboxylic acid, quinoline-2-carboxylic (quinaldic) acid, furan-2-carboxylic acid and thiophene-2-carboxylic acid. Compound 5 primarily exhibits a coordination number of six with pentagonal pyramidal geometry at bismuth, but an additional weak Bi···O interaction in the direction of the lone pair of electrons is present. This feature leads to a weakly bound dimer. The use of pyridine as the solvent in a similar reaction, however, led to 7, in which all of the Bi-Ph bonds are cleaved. In this compound, bismuth exhibits a coordination number of eight and distorted dodecahedral geometry. In compound 8, the geometry around bismuth is primarily a pentagonal pyramid, however, clear-cut but weak secondary Bi···N interactions leading to a dimeric formulation are discernible in the structure. The quinaldate compound 9 exhibits a lower formal coordination number of five for bismuth, with square pyramidal geometry, but again two secondary Bi···O interactions for each bismuth in the direction of the lone pair lead to a dimer. A similar secondary Bi···O interaction involving furan oxygen is present in the furoate compound 10, which is a polymeric chain (one dimensional coordination polymer). Although the thiophene carboxylate 11 is also a polymeric chain, no Bi···S interactions are present. Unlike the previously reported tetrameric biscarboxylate [PhBi(2-O(2)C-C(5)H(3)N)(2)](4), the thiophene carboxylate [PhBi(O(2)C-C(4)H(3)S)(2)](2) (12) is a dimer considering only primary interactions. However, these dimers are arranged in such a way that there are secondary Bi···S interactions in the structure in the expected direction of the lone pair of electrons on bismuth. Thus, these studies suggest that the stereochemical activity (or inactivity) of the bismuth lone pair of electrons need to be judged more cautiously. TGA studies are consistent with the presence of Bi-Ph groups in all of the compounds, except 7, as indicated by their formulae.  相似文献

The reaction of [Mo(3)S(4)(H(2)O)(9)](4+) with Bi(III) in the presence of BH(4)(-) (rapid), or with Bi metal shot (3-4 days), gives a heterometallic cluster product. The latter has been characterized as the corner-shared double cube [Mo(6)BiS(8)(H(2)O)(18)](8+) by the following procedures. Analyses by ICP-AES confirm the Mo:Bi:S ratio as 6:1:8. Elution from a cation-exchange column by 4 M Hpts (Hpts = p-toluenesulfonic acid), but not 2 M Hpts (or 4 M HClO(4)), is consistent with a high charge. The latter is confirmed as 8+ from the 3:1 stoichiometries observed for the oxidations with [Co(dipic)(2)](-) or [Fe(H(2)O)(6)](3+) yielding [Mo(3)S(4)(H(2)O)(9)](4+) and Bi(III) as products. Heterometallic clusters [Mo(6)MS(8)(H(2)O)(18)](8+) are now known for M = Hg, In, Tl, Sn, Pb, Sb, and Bi and are a feature of the P-block main group metals. The color of [Mo(6)BiS(8)(H(2)O)(18)](8+) in 2.0 M Hpts (turquoise) is different from that in 2.0 M HCl (green-blue). Kinetic studies (25 degrees C) for uptake of a single chloride k(f) = 0.80 M(-)(1) s(-)(1), I = 2.0 M (Hpts), and the high affinity for Cl(-) (K > 40 M(-)(1)) exceeds that observed for complexing at Mo. A specific heterometal interaction of the Cl(-) not observed in the case of other double cubes is indicated. The Cl(-) can be removed by cation-exchange chromatography with retention of the double-cube structure. Kinetic studies with [Co(dipic)(2)](-) and hexaaqua-Fe(III) as oxidants form part of a survey of redox properties of this and other clusters. The Cl(-) adduct is more readily oxidized by [Co(dipic)(2)](-) (factor of approximately 10) and is also more air sensitive.  相似文献

Complexes 3-13 can all be regarded as metallo-cryptand encapsulated lanthanides in which the central lanthanide ion is captivated within a [Co(II)(6)] trigonal prism. dc and ac magnetic susceptibility studies have been carried out in the 2-300 K range for complexes 1, 3, 5, 7, 8, 10, 12, and 13, revealing the possibility of single molecule magnetism behavior for complex 10.  相似文献

A novel aluminoborate (NH(4))(6)[C(5)NH(12)](6)[Al(12)B(65)O(105)(OH)(33)]·(H(2)O)(15) (QD-6), has been synthesized under mild hydrothermal conditions and characterized by IR, elemental analysis, TGA, powder and single-crystal X-ray diffractions. This compound crystallizes in the rhombohedral space group R3 (No. 148) with the lattice constants a = 23.7421(2) ?, c = 24.7699(3) ?, V = 12091.9(2) ?(3), and Z = 3. QD-6 consists of two unprecedented aluminoborate clusters, [Al(6)B(34)O(54)(OH)(18)](6-) and [Al(6)B(31)O(51)(OH)(15)](6-), which are built from the same hexagon-like [B@Al(6)O(24)] clusters and [B(11)O(17)(OH)(6)] or [B(10)O(16)(OH)(5)] polyborates.  相似文献

By subtly varying crystallization conditions, four distinct cadmium acetate coordination networks with unit cell formulas Cd(87)(H(2)O)(36)(EtOH)(18)(OH)(12)(CH(3)CO(2))(162) (1), Cd(87)(H(2)O)(72)(OH)(12)(CH(3)CO(2))(162) (2), Cd(10)(H(2)O)(6)(OH)(2)(CH(3)CO(2))(18) (3), and Cd(20)(H(2)O)(20)(OH)(4)(CH(3)CO(2))(36) (4) have been isolated. The coordination networks exhibit interesting structural diversity and have been investigated by powder X-ray diffraction, elemental analysis, thermal gravimetric analysis, infrared spectroscopy, and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. All four complexes are composed of secondary building units with the general formula [Cd(4)(OAc)(9)(μ(3)-OH)](2-). Complexes 1 and 2 exhibit a remarkable three-dimensional network composed of aligned columns, each 4.5 nm long, containing three different cadmium acetate clusters. Complexes 3 and 4 extend in two-dimensions with each unit cell repeating a different linkage isomer of the [Cd(4)(OAc)(9)(μ(3)-OH)](2-) cluster.  相似文献

Hydrolysis of Bi(NO(3))(3) in aqueous solution gave crystals of the novel compounds [Bi(6)O(4)(OH)(4)(NO(3))(5)(H(2)O)](NO(3)) (1) and [Bi(6)O(4)(OH)(4)(NO(3))(6)(H(2)O)(2)]·H(2)O (2) among the series of hexanuclear bismuth oxido nitrates. Compounds 1 and 2 both crystallize in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/n but show significant differences in their lattice parameters: 1, a = 9.2516(6) ?, b = 13.4298(9) ?, c = 17.8471(14) ?, β = 94.531(6)°, V = 2210.5(3) ?(3); 2, a = 9.0149(3) ?, b = 16.9298(4) ?, c = 15.6864(4) ?, β = 90.129(3)°, V = 2394.06(12) ?(3). Variation of the conditions for partial hydrolysis of Bi(NO(3))(3) gave bismuth oxido nitrates of even higher nuclearity, [{Bi(38)O(45)(NO(3))(24)(DMSO)(26)}·4DMSO][{Bi(38)O(45)(NO(3))(24)(DMSO)(24)}·4DMSO] (3) and [{Bi(38)O(45)(NO(3))(24)(DMSO)(26)}·2DMSO][{Bi(38)O(45)(NO(3))(24)(DMSO)(24)}·0.5DMSO] (5), upon crystallization from DMSO. Bismuth oxido clusters 3 and 5 crystallize in the triclinic space group P1? both with two crystallographically independent molecules in the asymmetric unit. The following lattice parameters are observed: 3, a = 20.3804(10) ?, b = 20.3871(9) ?, c = 34.9715(15) ?, α = 76.657(4)°, β = 73.479(4)°, γ = 60.228(5)°, V = 12021.7(9) ?(3); 5, a = 20.0329(4) ?, b = 20.0601(4) ?, c = 34.3532(6) ?, α = 90.196(1)°, β = 91.344(2)°, γ = 119.370(2)°, V = 12025.8(4) ?(3). Four new Cu(II) complexes {[Cu(4)(bpy)(4)(OH)(4)(H(2)O)(2)]}(NO(3))(2)(C(7)H(5)O(2))(2)·6H(2)O 1, {[Cu(4)(bpy)(4)(OH)(4)(H(2)O)(2)]}(NO(3))(2)(C(5)H(6)O(4))·8H(2)O 2, {[Cu(4)(bpy)(4)(OH)(4)(H(2)O)(2)]}(C(5)H(6)O(4))(2)·16H(2)O 3 and {[Cu(6)(bpy)(6)(OH)(6)(H(2)O)(2)]}(C(8)H(7)O(2))(6)·12H(2)O 4 were synthesized (bpy = 2,2'-bipyridine, H(2)(C(5)H(6)O(4)) = glutaric acid, H(C(7)H(5)O(2)) = benzoic acid, H(C(8)H(7)O(2)) = phenyl acetic acid). The building units in 1-3 are the tetranuclear [Cu(4)(bpy)(4)(H(2)O)(2)(μ(2)-OH)(2)(μ(3)-OH)(2)](4+) complex cations, and in 4 the hexanuclear [Cu(6)(bpy)(6)(H(2)O)(2)(μ(2)-OH)(2)(μ(3)-OH)(4)](6+) complex cations, respectively. The tetra- and hexanuclear cluster cores [Cu(4)(μ(2)-OH)(2)(μ(3)-OH)(2)] and [Cu(6)(μ(2)-OH)(2)(μ(3)-OH)(4)] in the complex cations could be viewed as from step-like di- and trimerization of the well-known hydroxo-bridged dinuclear [Cu(2)(μ(2)-OH)(2)] entities via the out-of-plane Cu-O(H) bonds. The complex cations are supramolecularly assembled into (4,4) topological networks via intercationic ππ stacking interactions. The counteranions and lattice H(2)O molecules are sandwiched between the 2D cationic networks to form hydrogen-bonded networks in 1-3, while the phenyl acetate anions and the lattice H(2)O molecules generate 3D hydrogen-bonded anionic framework to interpenetrate with the (4,4) topological cationic networks with the hexanuclear complex cations in the channels. The ferromagnetic coupling between Cu(II) ions in the [Cu(4)(μ(2)-OH)(2)(μ(3)-OH)(2)] cores of 1-3 is significantly stronger via equatorial-equatorial OH(-) bridges than via equatorial-apical ones. The outer and the central [Cu(2)(OH)(2)] unit within the [Cu(6)(μ(2)-OH)(2)(μ(3)-OH)(4)] cluster cores in 4 exhibit weak ferromagnetic and antiferromagnetic interactions, respectively. Results about i.r. spectra, thermal and elemental analyses are presented.  相似文献

In our preliminary communication (Ogo, S.; Wada, S.; Watanabe, Y.; Iwase, M.; Wada, A.; Harata, M.; Jitsukawa, K.; Masuda, H.; Einaga, H. Angew. Chem., Int. Ed. 1998, 37, 2102-2104), we reported the first example of X-ray analysis of a mononuclear six-coordinate (hydroxo)iron(III) non-heme complex, [Fe(III)(tnpa)(OH)(RCO(2))]ClO(4) [tnpa = tris(6-neopentylamino-2-pyridylmethyl)amine; for 1, R = C(6)H(5)], which has a characteristic cis (hydroxo)-Fe(III)-(carboxylato) configuration that models the cis (hydroxo)-Fe(III)-(carboxylato) moiety of the proposed (hydroxo)iron(III) species of lipoxygenases. In this full account, we report structural and spectroscopic characterization of the cis (hydroxo)-Fe(III)-(carboxylato) configuration by extending the model complexes from 1 to [Fe(III)(tnpa)(OH)(RCO(2))]ClO(4) (2, R = CH(3); 3, R = H) whose cis (hydroxo)-Fe(III)-(carboxylato) moieties are isotopically labeled by (18)OH(-), (16)OD(-), (18)OD(-), (12)CH(3)(12)C(18)O(2)(-), (12)CH(3)(13)C(16)O(2)(-), (13)CH(3)(12)C(16)O(2)(-), (13)CH(3)(13)C(16)O(2)(-), and H(13)C(16)O(2)(-). Complexes 1-3 are characterized by X-ray analysis, IR, EPR, and UV-vis spectroscopy, and electrospray ionization mass spectrometry (ESI-MS).  相似文献

Two new bismuth hydroxyl borates, Bi(2)O(2)[B(3)O(5)(OH)] (I) and Bi(2)O(2)[BO(2)(OH)] (II), have been synthesized under hydrothermal conditions. Their structures were determined by single-crystal and powder X-ray diffraction data, respectively. Compound I crystallizes in the orthorhombic space group Pbca with the lattice constants of a = 6.0268(3) ?, b = 11.3635(6) ?, and c = 19.348(1) ?. Compound II crystallizes in the monoclinic space group Cm with the lattice constants of a = 5.4676(6) ?, b = 14.6643(5) ?, c = 3.9058(1) ?, and β = 135.587(6)°. The borate fundamental building block (FBB) in I is a three-ring unit [B(3)O(6)(OH)](4-), which connects one by one via sharing corners, forming an infinite zigzag chain along the a direction. The borate chains are further linked by hydrogen bonds, showing as a borate layer within the ab plane. The FBB in II is an isolated [BO(2)(OH)](2-) triangle, which links to two neighboring FBBs by strong hydrogen bonds, resulting in a borate chain along the a direction. Both compounds contain [Bi(2)O(2)](2+) layers, and the [Bi(2)O(2)](2+) layers combine with the corresponding borate layers alternatively, forming the whole structures. These two new bismuth borates are the first ones containing [Bi(2)O(2)](2+) layers in borates. The appearance of Bi(2)O(2)[BO(2)(OH)] (II) completes the series of compounds Bi(2)O(2)[BO(2)(OH)], Bi(2)O(2)CO(3), and Bi(2)O(2)[NO(3)(OH)] and the formation of Bi(2)O(2)[B(3)O(5)(OH)] provides another example in demonstrating the polymerization tendency of borate groups.  相似文献

The reaction of PdCl(2) with [W3S4(H2O)9]4+ in the presence of hypophosphorous acid in 2 M HCl gives cuboidal cluster [W3(PdCl)S4(H2O)9]3+ (1) which undergoes condensation and crystallises from Hpts solutions as edge-linked double cubane cluster [{W3PdS4(H2O)9}2](pts)(8).19H2O (pts = p-toluenesulfonate) (1'). The substitution of Cl- in (1) by different ligands was explored. The Pd atom in the cluster shows an exceptionally high reactivity in the isomerisation of the hydrophosphoryl H2P(O)(OH), HP(O)(OH)2, HPPh(O)(OH) and HPPh2(O) molecules into the corresponding hydroxo tautomers HP(OH)2, P(OH)3, PhP(OH)2 and Ph2P(OH) stabilised by coordination at Pd. The reactions were followed by UV-Vis spectrophotometry and 31P NMR. Formation constants of the 1 : 1 coordination of [M3(PdCl)S4(H2O)9]3+ (M = Mo, W) with HP(OH)2 and As(OH)3 were obtained. The structures of cucurbit[6]uril (C36H36N24O12, CUC[6]) adducts [W3(PdP(OH)3)S4(H2O)8Cl]-(C36H36N24O12)Cl3.12.5H2O (2), and [W3Pd(PhP(OH)2)S4(H2O)7Cl2]2(C36H36N24O12)Cl4.9H2O (3) were determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction.  相似文献

Two unique octa- and hendeca-nuclear dysprosium(III) clusters incorporating [Dy(4)(μ(3)-OH)(4)](8+) cubane units have been synthesized with the 1,10-phenanthroline-2,9-dicarbaldehyde dioxime (H(2)phendox) ligand and DyCl(3)·6H(2)O or Dy(OAc)(3)·4H(2)O. They are [Dy(8)(OH)(8)(phendox)(6)(H(2)O)(8)]Cl(2)(OH)(2)·18H(2)O·18MeOH (1) and [Dy(11)(OH)(11)(phendox)(6)(phenda)(3)(OAc)(3)](OH)·40H(2)O·7MeOH (2). Adjacent Dy(8) in 1 or Dy(11) in 2 motifs are packed by off-set π-π interactions of the aromatic rings on phendox(2-) to generate a 3D supramolecular architecture in the honeycomb topology and with 1D or 3D channels along the c-axis. Adsorption research shows that complex 1 has selective adsorption ability for H(2)O over small gas molecules (H(2), N(2), CO(2)). Complex 2 is stable upon the removal of guest molecules and the desolvated compound absorbed a considerable amount of CO(2). Furthermore, the oximes underwent hydrolysis to carboxylic acid and the resulting 1,10-phenanthroline-2,9-dicarboxylate link the dysprosium atoms to form a hendecanuclear cluster of 2. Magnetic studies reveal that both clusters exhibit slow magnetic relaxation behavior, expanding upon the recent reports of the pure 4f type single-molecule magnets (SMMs).  相似文献

The Mo(3)SnS(4)(6+) single cube is obtained by direct addition of Sn(2+) to [Mo(3)S(4)(H(2)O)(9)](4+). UV-vis spectra of the product (0.13 mM) in 2.00 M HClO(4), Hpts, and HCl indicate a marked affinity of the Sn for Cl(-), with formation of the more strongly yellow [Mo(3)(SnCl(3))S(4)(H(2)O)(9)](3+) complex complete in as little as 0.050 M Cl(-). The X-ray crystal structure of (Me(2)NH(2))(6)[Mo(3)(SnCl(3))S(4)(NCS)(9)].0.5H(2)O has been determined and gives Mo-Mo (mean 2.730 ?) and Mo-Sn (mean 3.732 ?) distances, with a difference close to 1 ?. The red-purple double cube cation [Mo(6)SnS(8)(H(2)O)(18)](8+) is obtained by reacting Sn metal with [Mo(3)S(4)(H(2)O)(9)](4+). The double cube is also obtained in approximately 50% yield by BH(4)(-) reduction of a 1:1 mixture of [Mo(3)SnS(4)(H(2)O)(10)](6+) and [Mo(3)S(4)(H(2)O)(9)](4+). Conversely two-electron oxidation of [Mo(6)SnS(8)(H(2)O)(18)](8+) with [Co(dipic)(2)](-) or [Fe(H(2)O(6)](3+) gives the single cube [Mo(3)SnS(4)(H(2)O)(12)](6+) and [Mo(3)S(4)(H(2)O)(9)](4+) (up to 70% yield), followed by further two-electron oxidation to [Mo(3)S(4)(H(2)O)(9)](4+) and Sn(IV). The kinetics of the first stages have been studied using the stopped-flow method and give rate laws first order in [Mo(6)SnS(8)(H(2)O)(18)](8+) and the Co(III) or Fe(III) oxidant. The oxidation with [Co(dipic)(2)](-) has no [H(+)] dependence, [H(+)] = 0.50-2.00 M. With Fe(III) as oxidant, reaction steps involving [Fe(H(2)O)(6)](3+) and [Fe(H(2)O)(5)OH](2+) are implicated. At 25 degrees C and I = 2.00 M (Li(pts)) k(Co) is 14.9 M(-)(1) s(-)(1) and k(a) for the reaction of [Fe(H(2)O)(6)](3+) is 0.68 M(-)(1) s(-)(1) (both outer-sphere reactions). Reaction of Cu(2+) with the double but not the single cube is observed, yielding [Mo(3)CuS(4)(H(2)O)(10)](5+). A redox-controlled mechanism involving intermediate formation of Cu(+) and [Mo(3)S(4)(H(2)O)(9)](4+) accounts for the changes observed.  相似文献
