In the present contribution, we derive an asymptotic expansion for the energy eigenvalues of anharmonic oscillators for potentials of the form V(x)=κx2q+ωx2,q=2,3,…V(x)=κx2q+ωx2,q=2,3, as the energy level nn approaches infinity. The asymptotic expansion is obtained using the WKB theory and series reversion. Furthermore, we construct an algorithm for computing the coefficients of the asymptotic expansion for quartic anharmonic oscillators, leading to an efficient and accurate computation of the energy values for n≥6n6.  相似文献

We use the strong coupling and hopping parameter expansions to calculate the pion and rho meson masses for lattice Yang–Mills gauge theories with fermions in irreducible two-index representations, namely the adjoint, symmetric and antisymmetric. The results are found to be consistent with orientifold planar equivalence, and leading order 1/Nc1/Nc corrections are calculated in the lattice phase. An estimate of the critical bare mass, for which the pion is massless, is obtained as a function of the bare coupling. A comparison to data from the two-flavour SU(2)SU(2) theory with adjoint fermions gives evidence for a bulk phase transition at βc∼2βc2, separating a pure lattice phase from a phase smoothly connected to the continuum.  相似文献

We calculate the strong coupling constants of light pseudoscalar mesons with heavy baryons within the light cone QCD sum rules method. It is shown that sextet–sextet, sextet–antitriplet and antitriplet–antitriplet transitions are described by one universal invariant function for each class. A comparison of our results on the coupling constants with the predictions existing in literature is also presented.  相似文献

We report on the strong coupling between a Tamm plasmon mode and excitons from inorganic quantum wells. The sample is formed by an AlAs/GaAlAs Bragg reflector containing InGaAs QWs in its high refractive index layers, on top of which a thin silver film is deposited. Angle resolved reflectometry experiments at low temperature (77 K) show a clear anticrossing in the dispersion relations, evidencing the strong coupling regime. The Rabi splitting amounts to 11.5 meV. Emission from low and high energy Tamm plasmon/exciton polaritons is also demonstrated. Experimental data are in very good agreement with transfer matrix simulations.  相似文献

The effect of transverse coupling in a photorefractive oscillator is studied. From the study the condition for stable optical patterns of multimode oscillation is given analytically and verified by numerical simulation. 目前反应堆物理热工耦合程序通常采用固定点迭代思路, 这可能导致部分工况收敛速度慢, 甚至出现不收敛的现象, 严重影响了计算效率. 基于此, 本文将高效的粗网节块展开法(NEM)与Jacobian-Free Newton-Krylov (JFNK)方法结合, 成功地开发出了一套新方法NEM_JFNK, 实现了联立求解物理热工耦合问题. 首先将NEM推广到热工问题的求解, 之后使用NEM来离散物理-热工耦合问题的所有控制方程, 使得所有变量都能在粗网格下进行离散, 从而大大减小求解问题的规模; 其次将NEM离散后的方程经过某些特殊的处理, 成功地嵌入JFNK的计算框架, 最终开发出了基于线性预处理的NEM_JFNK, 即LP_NEM_JFNK. 此外, 为了充分利用原有的迭代程序, 避免JFNK残差方程的重新建立, 本文还开发了无需重构残差方程的NEM_JFNK, 即NRC_NEM_JFNK, 并实现“黑箱”耦合. 文中以一维中子-热工模型为例, 给出LP_NEM_JFNK和NRC_NEM_JFNK数学模型, 并对计算结果进行分析. 结果表明:新方法无论是收敛速度还是计算效率都具有明显优势.  相似文献

It is pointed out that the value of the perturbed energy calculated in the comment by Rath and Pattnayak, is incorrect. When the coupling parameter has the value unity, the energy up to second order of perturbation theory is 0.801 compared to its exact value of 0.804. The suggested split of the Hamiltonian into an unperturbed and perturbed part does not seem to be of any use as the unperturbed part contains anharmonic terms.  相似文献

A strong coupling expansion based on the Kato-Bloch perturbation theory, which has recently been proposed by Eckardt et?al (2009 Phys. Rev. B 79 195131) and Teichmann et?al (2009 Phys. Rev. B 79 224515), is implemented in order to study various aspects of the Bose-Hubbard and Jaynes-Cummings lattice models. The approach, which allows us to generate numerically all diagrams up to a desired order in the interaction strength, is generalized for disordered systems and for the Jaynes-Cummings lattice model. Results for the Bose-Hubbard and Jaynes-Cummings lattice models will be presented and compared with results from the variational cluster approach and density matrix renormalization group. Our focus will be on the Mott insulator to superfluid transition.  相似文献

In this letter we show that it is not possible to set up a canonical quantization for the damped harmonic oscillator using the Bateman Lagrangian. In particular, we prove that no square integrable vacuum exists for the natural ladder operators of the system, and that the only vacua can be found as distributions. This implies that the procedure proposed by some authors is only formally correct, and requires a much deeper analysis to be made rigorous.  相似文献

The notion of wave function of the classical harmonic oscillator is discussed. The evolution equation for this wave function is obtained using the classical Liouville equation for the probability-distribution function of the harmonic oscillator. The tomographic-probability distribution of the classical oscillator is studied.
