As is well known the derivative of a computable and C1 function may not be computable. For a computable and C∞ function f, the sequence {f(n)} of its derivatives may fail to be computable as a sequence, even though its derivative of any order is computable. In this paper we present a necessary and sufficient condition for the sequence {f(n)} of derivatives of a computable and C function f to be computable. We also give a sharp regularity condition on an initial computable function f which insures the computability of its derivative f′.  相似文献

 We extend the notion of absolute convergence for real series in several variables to a notion of convergence for series in a power series field ℝ((t Γ)) with coefficients in ℝ. Subsequently, we define a natural notion of analytic function at a point of ℝ((t Γ))m. Then, given a real function f analytic on a open box I of m , we extend f to a function f which is analytic on a subset of ℝ((t Γ)) m containing I. We prove that the functions f share with real analytic functions certain basic properties: they are , they have usual Taylor development, they satisfy the inverse function theorem and the implicit function theorem. In this paper, the inverse function theorem and the implicit function theorem in a non-Archimedean setting will be discussed. We denote by N any non-Archimedean field extension of the real numbers that is real closed and Cauchy complete in the topology induced by the order; and we study the properties of locally uniformly differentiable functions from Nn to Nm. Then we use that concept of local uniform differentiability to formulate and prove the inverse function theorem for functions from Nn to Nn and the implicit function theorem for functions from Nn to Nm with m<n.  相似文献

Lp-Computability     
In this paper we investigate conditions for Lp-computability which are in accordance with the classical Grzegorczyk notion of computability for a continuous function. For a given computable real number p ≥ 1 and a compact computable rectangle I ? ?q, we show that an Lp function fLp(I) is LP-computable if and only if (i) f is sequentially computable as a linear functional and (ii) the Lp-modulus function of f is effectively continuous at the origin of ?q.  相似文献

By comparing the Hausdorff multifractal spectrum with the large deviations spectrum of a given continuous function f, we find sufficient conditions ensuring that f possesses oscillating singularities. Using a similar approach, we study the nonlinear wavelet threshold operator which associates with any function f = ∑j k dj,k ψ j,k L 2(?) the function series ft whose wavelet coefficients are d t j,k = dj,k 1 , for some fixed real number γ > 0. This operator creates a context propitious to have oscillating singularities. As a consequence, we prove that the series ft may have a multifractal spectrum with a support larger than the one of f . We exhibit an example of function fL 2(?) such that the associated thresholded function series ft effectively possesses oscillating singularities which were not present in the initial function f . This series ft is a typical example of function with homogeneous non‐concave multifractal spectrum and which does not satisfy the classical multifractal formalisms. Abstract

In this article, we establish several explicit conditional function space integration formulas for functionals defined on a very general function space C a,b [0,T]. The formulas we obtain are rather simple and don't involve function space integrals. In particular we obtain a formula for the conditional function space integral of each of the functionals exp{∫0 T x(t)db(t)}, exp{?[∫0 T x(t) db(t)]2}, and exp{? ∫0 T x2 (t) db(t)} which arise naturally in quantum mechanics.  相似文献

We construct, under MA, a non-Hausdorff (T1-)topological extension *ω of ω, such that every function from ω to ω extends uniquely to a continuous function from *ω to *ω. We also show (in ZFC) that for every nontrivial topological extension *X of a countable set X there exists a topology τf on *X, strictly finer than the Star topology, and such that (*X, τf) is still a topological extension of X with the same function extensions *f. We study effectively the Cartan geometry of Levi-nondegenerate C 6-smooth hypersurfaces M 3 in ℂ2. Notably, we present the so-called curvature function of a related Tanaka-type normal connection explicitly in terms of a graphing function for M, which is the initial, single available datum. Vanishing of this curvature function then characterizes explicitly the local biholomorphic equivalence of such M 3 ⊂ ℂ2 to the Heisenberg sphere ℍ3, such M’s being necessarily real analytic.  相似文献

In this paper we define weighted function spaces of type Bspq(u) and Fspq(u) on the Euclidean space IRn, where u is a weight function of at most exponential growth. In particular, u(x) = exp(±|χ|) is an admissible weight. We prove some basic properties of these spaces, such as completeness and density of the smooth functions.  相似文献

We approximate the unit step function, which equals 1 if t ε [0, T] and equals 0 if t > T, by functions of the form ∑n = 1N AxnN e−λnt/T, where each λn is a given positive constant. We find the coefficients An(N) by minimizing the integrated square of the difference between the unit step function and the approximating function. We first solve the specialized case where each λn = n. The resulting sum can be shown to converge in the mean to the unit step function as N → ∞. In this paper the optimal L 2 error estimates of the finite volume element methods (FVEM) for Poisson equation are discussed on quadrilateral meshes. The trial function space is taken as isoparametric bilinear finite element space on quadrilateral partition, and the test function space is defined as piecewise constant space on dual partition. Under the assumption that all elements on quadrilateral meshes are O(h 2) quasi-parallel quadrilateral elements, we prove convergence rate to be O(h 2) in L 2 norm.  相似文献

Explicit formulas for sharp coefficients in estimates of the modulus of an analytic function and its derivative in the upper half-plane are found. It is assumed that the boundary values of the real part of the function are in L p . As corollaries, sharp estimates for the modulus of the gradient of a harmonic function in \mathbb R+2 {\mathbb R}_{+}^2 are deduced. Besides, a representation for the best constant in the estimate of the modulus of the gradient of a harmonic function in \mathbb R+n {\mathbb R}_{+}^n by the L p -norm of the boundary normal derivative is given, 1 \leqslant p \leqslant ¥ 1 \leqslant p \leqslant \infty . An algorithm is presented for raising an approximation order of any given orthogonal multiscaling function with the dilation factor a. Let φ(x) = [φ1(x),φ2(x),…,φr(x)]T be an orthogonal multiscaling function with the dilation factor a and the approximation order m. We can construct a new orthogonal multiscaling function φnew(x) = [ φT(x). f3r 1(x),φr 2(x),…,φr s(x)}T with the approximation order m L(L ∈ Z ). In other words, we raise the approximation order of multiscaling function φ(x) by increasing its multiplicity. In addition, we discuss an especial setting. That is, if given an orthogonal multiscaling function φ(x) = [φ1 (x), φ2(x), …, φr(x)]T is symmetric, then the new orthogonal multiscaling function φnew(x) not only raise the approximation order but also preserve symmetry. L p approximation capability of radial basis function (RBF) neural networks is investigated. If g: R +1R 1 and ∈ L loc p (R n ) with 1 ≤ p < ∞, then the RBF neural networks with g as the activation function can approximate any given function in L p (K) with any accuracy for any compact set K in R n , if and only if g(x) is not an even polynomial.
