Thin films of Tris(8-hydroxyquinoline)-aluminum(III) (Alq3) and N,N-Di-[(1-naphthyl)-N,N-diphenyl]-(1,1-biphenyl)-4,4-diamine (-NPD ) were deposited on large-area silicon substrates by means of the recently developed organic vapor phase deposition (OVPD) method. Variable-angle spectroscopic ellipsometry was used to measure the optical constants of OVPD Alq3 and -NPD layers in the 0.8–5 eV energy range. The absorption onset which defines the lower limit of the optical band gap was found to be at 2.65 eV and 2.9 eV for Alq3 and -NPD , respectively. Additionally, the thicknesses of the layers as well as the thickness profiles of the organic thin films were determined along the 8 diameter of the wafers. The thickness analysis revealed large-area uniform deposition of the films. PACS 78.20.Ci; 81.70.Fy; 81.15.-z  相似文献

TCNQ salts of 1-monoalkylbiferrocenes showed a temperature-independent trapped-valence state as expected for the unsymmetrical structure of cations. On the other hand, mixed crystals of 1-monobutyl- and 1.1-dibutylbiferrocenium+(TCNQ) 3 showed a temperature dependence of the mixed-valence states, showing that the lattice affects the mixed-valence states.  相似文献

A new theory of weak interactions is proposed in which the coupling between theV-A currents j(X) and j(X) is achieved not by vector mesons [by a propagator D c (X-X)], but by a scalar functionR(X – X), a fermion-antifermion loop which plays the role of a unique film joining two different pointsX andX of completely uncoupled space-times (as a result of which the space becomes a continuum). We report the results of ac-susceptibility and dc-magnetization measurements for HyGd2CuO4 (0y0.54). It is shown thatH doping lowers the weak ferromagnetic component in the material. The distinct hysteresis loops observed atT=77 K for both non- and hydrogenated samples change its shape withy. The magnetic ordering temperatures T N Cu and T N Gd , as determined from the temperature dependencies of ac-susceptibility, remain unchanged with sample's hydrogenation. This result seems to indicate that extra electrons are not doped onto the Cu-O planes of Gd2CuO4. The frequency dependencies ofx(, T) andx(, T) for bothy=0 andy=0.15 samples are analysed., The maximums ofx andx found at about 200K are considered in terms of susceptibility dependence on the spin-lattice relaxation time (). The anomalies in ac-susceptibility found recently in Gd2CuO4 atT a=8 K andT b=9.5 K decrease significantly withy. Results are discussed in the context of available data on 214T-type compounds.  相似文献

Investigation of aging Cu-1.5% Be-2% Ag and Cu-1% Be-4% Ag alloys was carried out in this study by the methods of x-ray analysis of monocrystals, and electron microscopy. In the aging process at 218, 300, and 450C, laminar zones of Guinier-Preston, enriched with beryllium and silver atoms were formed. Entry of silver into the zones widens the upper temperature interval of the zone stage to 450C. With the increase of annealing time the metastable-phase was precipitated. The crystals of -phase are precipitated with orientation in the direction (100) in consequence of interactions of the fields of elastic stresses occurring around -precipitations, and periodic structure is formed in the alloy. Non-doped type white organic electroluminescent (EL) devices using vacuum-deposited organic thin films of blue-emitting 4,4-bis(2,2 diphenylvinyl)-1,1-biphenyl (DPVBi) and yellow-emitting ultrathin 5,6,11,12-tetraphenylnaphthacene (rubrene) to generate white emission were fabricated. The two emitting layers are separated by an electron blocking layer of N,N-bis-(1-naphthyl)-N,N-diphenyl-1,1-biph-enyl-4,4-diamine (NPB). The thickness of the blocking layer determines the spectrum of the devices. In a device with 5 nm electron blocker of NPB, the CIE coordinates were well within the white region for voltage raging from 3 V to 14 V. The device has a maximum luminance of 7400 cd/m2(at current density of 830 mA/cm2) and maximum power efficiency of 1.67 lm/W at 5 V.  相似文献

A series of Ru(N–N)2(dcbp or mcmabp) complexes were synthesized where N-N represents a diimine ligand, dcbp is 4,4-dicaboxylic 2,2-bipyridine, and mcmabp is 4,4-2,2-bipyridine monocarboxy amide. The N-N ligand was either 2,2-bipyridine (bpy), 4,4-dimethyl-2,2-bipyridine (dmbp), or 4,4,5,5-tetramethyl-2,2-bipyridine (tmbp). We observed a red shift in both the absorption and emission with the presence of dcbp in the mixed ligand complex when compared to Ru(bpy)3. Conversion of one of the carboxylic groups in dcbp to amide resulted in further red shifts. A red shift in the absorption and the emission was also observed with increasing numbers of electrons donating methyl substitutions on bpy. The lifetimes of the complexes decreased as expected with the red shift emission. The tris heteroleptic Ru (tmphen)(tmbp)(dcbp or mcmabp) were the most red-shifted among the complexes. Because of the red shift in the absorption, the maxima in the fundamental anisotropies of the mixed ligand Ru complexes are now coincident with the maxima in the absorption. Overall we have been able to make an Ru complex which emits at about 700 nm in all aqueous environment and has a lifetime of about 220 ns.  相似文献

After quenching from 700C and aging, Cu-Sn alloys containing Ni and Al were found to have a precipitation of-solid solution, with a DO3 type of ordering, of metastable ,, and phases. It was established that the phase has an 4 type of ordering while the phase has the Cu3Ti type. We show that ifb andb are two boundary conditions (b.c.) for general spin systems on d such that the difference in the energies of a spin configuration in d is uniformly bounded, |H ,b ()–H ,b()|C < , then any infinite-volume Gibbs states and obtained with these b.c. have the same measure-zero sets. This implies that the decompositions of and into extremal Gibbs states are equivalent (mutually absolutely continuous). In particular, if is extremal,=. Application of this observation yields in an easy way (among other things) (a) the uniqueness of the Gibbs states for one-dimensional systems with forces that are not too long-range; (b) the fact that various b.c. that are natural candidates for producing non-translation-invariant Gibbs states cannot lead to such an extremal Gibbs state in two dimensions.Supported in part by NSF Grant PHY 78–15920 and by the Swiss National Foundation For Scientific Research.  相似文献

Photoproducts of pyridoxal-5-P, i.e., 4-pyridoxic-5-P and bis-pyridoxal-5-P, have been studied by spectroscopic methods. The spectroscopic properties of bis-pyridoxal-5-P (bis-PLP) resemble those of pyridoxal-5-P (PLP) under similar experimental conditions. The coupling of methylen hydrogens to the phosphorus atom has been shown by NMR spectroscopy. The singlet in the31P-NMR spectra and the triplet in1H-undecoupled experiments confirm the presence of the phosphate group in the 5 position of the structure of the vitamin. The effect of pH and solvent composition on the relative distribution of species of bis-pyridoxine-5-P (bis-PNP) has been investigated by absorption and fluorescence spectroscopy. The acid-base dissociation of the phosphate group is easily detected by emission spectroscopy. Bis-PNP and bis-PLP bind to the enzyme RNase A and they behave as competitive inhibitors with respect to the substrate cytidine-2-3-cyclic phosphate. The natural forms of vitamin B6, pyridoxine, and pyridoxine-5-P have no effect on the catalytic activity of the protein. Experimental evidence derived from fluorescence and inhibition experiments is consistent with the hypothesis that bis-PNP recognizes the catalytic site of RNase A.  相似文献

Investigations of the superradiating cascade of sodium vapour 4P-4S-3P 1 = 2.21 µm and 2=1.14 µm) arising on the leading edge of the exciting laser pulse were carried out. The dependences of the actual delay time D of the 1 pulse on the population rise time of the laser-excited 4P state were measured and compared with those calculated following the existing theoretical model. The dependence of the actual delay time D on the inverse density of excited atoms 1/N* is also presented. Analysis of this dependence revealed the influence of the Doppler dephasing and of the second, 2, transition on the formation of the 1 superradiance.  相似文献

We present fermionic sum representations of the characters , s (p, p) of the minimal M(p,p) models for all relatively prime integers p>p for some allowed values of r and s. Our starting point is biomial (q-binomial) identities derived from a truncation of the state counting equations of the XXZ spin 1/2 chain of anisotropy –=–cos((p/p)). We use the Takahashi-Suzuki method to express the allowed values of r (and s) in terms of the continued fraction decomposition of {p/p} (and p/p), where {x} stands for the fractional part of x. These values are, in fact, the dimensions of the Hermitian irreducible representations of SU q- (2) (and SU q+ (2)) with q–=exp(i{p/p}) (and q+=exp(i(p/p))). We also establish the duality relation M(p,p) M(p–p,p) and discuss the action of the Andrews-Bailey transformation in the space of minimal models. A variety of rigorous inequalities for critical exponents is proved. Most notable is the low-temperature Josephson inequalitydv +2 2–. Others are 1 1 +v, 1 1 , 1,d 1 + 1/ (for d),dv, 3 + (for d), 4 , and 2m 2m+2 (form 2). In this paper an expression is obtained, which enables us to treat radiative and nonradiative transitions in complex molecular systems, when the final state is unstable. Expressions are give for the matrix elements E/v and E|d/dR|v , where the stable state is described by a solution with a Morse potential, and the unstable state by a solution with a Hulthen potential. It was shown in a previous communication that the nonlinear Schrödinger equation exhibits a spectrum of eigenfunctions of the form = k,A k (coshkx) –k and = k B k (coshkx) –k–1sinhkx, and the corresponding eigenvalues of the energy are related to a band structure with a characteristic energy gap as a significant feature. In the present paper, it is shown that a further spectrum exists exhibiting the general structure = k=0 A k(cosh kx)–k–1/2and = k=0 Bk(cosh kx)–k–3/2sinhkx and yielding also a band structure. An extension of the solution spectrum to a nonlinear Klein-Gordon equation and a nonlinear Dirac equation does not imply essential difficulties, and the corresponding characteristic band structure has to be related to a mass spectrum.  相似文献

For automorphism groups of operator algebras we show how properties of the difference t – ' t are reflected in relations between the generators , . We present a short review of anomalous properties in diffractive photo- and electroproduction of radially excited V(2S) vector mesons. Using the color dipole generalized Balitsky-Fadin-Kuraev-Lipatov phenomenology we analyze anomalous Q 2 and energy dependence of the production cross section, V(2S)/V(1S) production ratio, the diffraction slope and anomalous t-behavior of the differential cross section d/dt. The origin of these anomalies is based on the interplay of the nodal structure of V(2S) radial wave function with the energy and dipole size dependence of the dipole cross section and the diffraction slope. We analyze how a different pattern of anomalous behavior of V(2S) production leads to a different position of the node in the wave function and discuss how that node position can be extracted from the data at HERA.  相似文献

For the unbounded spin systems one cannot get cluster expansion if there exist large enough boundary values. A simple idea to avoid these difficulties is to prove that with probabilityp 1 when v there is a large subvolume of such that on all spin values do not exceed some fixed number. This gives a new method to prove uniqueness results for the unbounded spin systems generalizing some results of Refs. 1 and 2. The room-temperature decomposition of metastable phases in the Al-Zn alloys (from 25 to 50 wt. % Zn) was studied by the transmission electron microscopy and X-ray diffraction. Metastable phases, i.e. G.-P. zones, R-and -phases, were grown at 200 °C and their decomposition into equilibrium -phase at 20 °C was investigated. Ageing times comprised 1 to 999 days.Both the decomposition mechanism and the rate of decomposition of coherent phases were found to be dependent on the particle sizes and their density reached at 200 °C. The local vacancy supersaturation around the -nucleus in a dense system of G.-P. zones leads to an enhanced growth rate of such nucleus and thus to the formation of one large -precipitate at the expense of several neighbouring G.-P. zones. The elastic stress field around this -particle promotes the further nucleation and growth of -precipitates and leads to their gradual spread throughout the matrix. The decomposition of intermediately sized Rprecipitates results in the development of -precipitates of comparable sizes nucleated on the array of misfit dislocations at the periphery of R-precipitates. The cooperative effect between neighbouring particles does not influence the decomposition of large R-precipitated which split then into several smaller -particles. The rate of G.-P. zones or R to -decomposition increases with the increasing sizes of transition precipitates and with the zinc content of the alloy. The kinetics of to -decomposition was found to be independent both on the annealing time at 200 °C and on the investigated alloy composition. This can be attributed to the constant density of misfit dislocations as nucleation sites for -precipitates along the -matrix interface and to the large mutual separation of -precipitates in all these alloys.In conclusion we would like to express our thanks to Doc.
