Four 5-coordinate zinc complexes containing the tripod ligand, tris(2-benzimidazolylmethyl)amine (ntb), and four different ,-unsaturated carboxylates (L1–4), with compositions [Zn(ntb)(L1–4)](NO3nH2O (L1 = acrylate; L2 = -methacrylate; L3 = trans-cinnamate; L4 = 2-hydroxycinnamate; n = 1, 1.5 and 2), were synthesized and characterized by means of elemental analyses, electrical conductivities, thermal analyses, i.r., u.v., and 1H-n.m.r. spectra. The novel crystal structure of [Zn(ntb)(L3)](NO3)·H2O·DMF has been determined by a single-crystal X-ray diffraction method, and shows that each zinc ion is linked to a tris(2-benzimidazolymethyl)amine (ntb) unit and a trans-cinnamate. The zinc ion is 5-coordinate with a N4O ligand set. The coordination geometries of the zinc ion may be best described as a distorted trigonal bipyramid of site symmetry C3.  相似文献

Two new ternary complexes of manganese(II) with tris(2-benzimidazylmethyl)amine (ntb), and two different α,β-unsaturated carboxylates, {[Mn(ntb)(acrylate)](ClO4)}2?·?(H2O)·3(CH3OH) (1) and {[Mn(ntb)(α-methacrylate)](ClO4)}2·(H2O)·2(CH3OH) (2), have been synthesized and characterized by means of elemental analyses, thermal analyses, IR, UV and single crystal X-ray diffraction. In the two complexes, ntb functions as a tripodal tetradentate ligand, resulting in trigonal pyramidal geometry. In each complex, an additional ligand, acrylate anion, or α-methacrylate anion, is coordinated at the opened site trans to the apical nitrogen atom of the ntb ligand. The crystal structure of 1 shows two crystallographically independent but chemically identical [Mn(ntb)(acrylate)]+ cations. In 2, the crystal structure shows two crystallographically independent and chemically different [Mn(ntb)(a-methacrylate)]+ cations. Cyclic voltammograms of the manganese complexes indicate a quasireversible Mn3+/Mn2+ couple. The X-band EPR spectrum of the complexes exhibits a six-line manganese hyperfine pattern with g?=?2, A?=?97 (1) and 93?G (2). The spectrum confirms that the material is high-spin Mn(II).  相似文献

A new type of two-dimensional network was found in the hydrogen-bonded molecular assemblies of copper(II) α,β-unsaturated carboxylate complexes with TMP [OP(OMe)3], {Cu2A4(H2O)2[OP(OMe)3]} n [(1) A = CH2=CHCO2 ; (2) A = CH2=C(Me)CO2 ]. The crystal structure of (1) has been determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Both complexes are unique in terms of a sheet structure brought about by O—H ⋯ O hydrogen-bonded interactions both between neighbouring Cu2A4(H2O)2 units and between Cu2A4(H2O)2 and OP(OMe)3 molecules. The electronic reflectance spectra in the solid state suggest a square pyramidal coordination environment around the copper(II) atom. Room temperature X-band e.s.r. spectra of powered samples and variable-temperature magnetic susceptibility studies indicate the presence of strong antiferromagnetic exchange interactions between two copper(II) atoms, with 2J = −310 cm−1 for (1) and 2J = −304 cm−1 for (2) respectively. Formation of ternary mixed-ligand complexes of copper (II) with 16 -amino acids and -aminophosphonic acids (APA) with a 111 ratio of initial concentrations has been studied by potentiometric titration at 25C and 0.1 M KC1 in aqueous solution. The complexes CupAnBsHq are formed in solution, where A and B are the deprotonated ligands. The syntheses, characterization, and crystal structures of the reaction products of Cu2+ with imidazole (Himz) and different aromatic carboxylates, viz.: [Cu(Himz)2(cinn)2(H2O)] (1), [Cu(Himz)2(paba)2] (2) and [Cu(Himz)2(clba)2] (3) (cinn = C9H7O2, paba = C7H6NO2, clba = C7H4ClO2) are described and studied by spectroscopic (UV–visible, FTIR) measurements. Single-crystal X-ray diffraction analyses indicate that each complex is monomeric. The metal ion in 1 adopts square-pyramidal coordination geometry arising from two imidazole nitrogens, two cinnamate oxygens, and an apical aqua. The metal ions of 2 and 3, however, assume a square planar configuration, which is realized by coordination of two nitrogens of two imidazoles and two oxygens; in both complexes, the imidazole moieties are trans to each other. TGA results indicate that upon heating, these complexes lose their carboxylate anions first, followed by removal of the imidazole molecules.  相似文献

Summary AgI and CuII complexes with 2,4-bipyridyl (2,4-bipy or L) with the general formulae AgL2X (where X = NO inf3 sup– or ClO4 -), CuL2X2·2H2O (X = Cl- or Br-), CuL4SO4·4H2O, CuL4(NO3)2·2H2O and CuL4(ClO4)2·H2O have been isolated pure and characterized by analytical, spectral and magnetic measurements. Two copper (II) α-Methacrylate complexes with benzimidazole, Cu[CH2 = C(CH3)-COO]2 (C3H6N2)2(1) and Cu2[CH2 = C(CH1)-COO]2(C3H6N2)2(2), have been prepared and characterized by elemental analyses, IR and electronic reflectance spectroscopies. ’The single crystal X-ray diffraction study of the two complexes shows that complex 1 has a square planar configuration, while complex 2 has a binuclear cage structure. The crystal structural analyses show that both complexes 1 and 2 are monoclinic. with space group p21/c,a = 0.924 16(8) nm,b = 1.233 02(13) nm,c = 0.989 1(3) nm,β = 91.912 (13),D c = 1.386 g/cm3,Z=2,R = 0.033 9 for the former; anda = 0.905 7(2) nm,b = 2.252 1(5) nm,c = 1.623 5(4) nm,β = 90.11 (2),D c = 1.411 g/cm3,Z = 4,R = 0.056 8, Cu-Cu = 0.266 21 nm for tin latter. Different structural types of complexes 1 and 2 were produced simultaneously in the reaction of copper (II) α-methacrylate with benzimidazole in methanol solution. ’The forming mechanism of the complexes has been summanzed. Summary Ten novel -oxamido trinuclear complexes, namely Cu2–(oxae)2Ln(ClO4)3 (Ln = Y, Pr, Sm, Eu, Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er and Yb), where oxae donotes the N,N-bis(2-aminoethyl)-oxamido dianion, were prepared and characterized. The magnetic susceptibility of Cu2(oxae)2Gd(ClO4)3 was measured over the 4–300 K range and the observed data were successfully simulated by an equation based on the spin Hamiltonian operator . The exchange integrals J (Gd-Cu) and J Gd-Cu were found to be 2.37 and –0.71cm-1, respectively, indicating that very weakly ferromagnetic spin-exchange interaction operates between copper(II) and gadolinium(III) ions.Visiting scholar: Qufu Normal University.  相似文献

Four new ternary complexes of CuII with l-methionine and the nucleotides 5AMP (adenosine 5-phosphate), 5GMP (guanosine 5-phosphate) and 5IMP (inosine 5-phosphate), and with l-tryptophan and 5AMP, were synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis and i.r. spectroscopy. One ternary complex of NII with l-cysteine and 5IMP was also prepared and characterized. The study of the three ternary compounds of CuII, of general formulae Cu-5NMP-l-methionine, indicates coordination of the phosphate group and of N(7) of the purinic ring. l-Methionine is bound by the carboxylic and amino groups. The ternary complex obtained from a mixture of Cu-5AMP and l-tryptophan is a dimer in which the nucleotide bridges the two copper atoms. In the complex of Ni-5IMP and l-cysteine, the nucleotide seems to bind the metal through the N(7) of the heterocyclic ring, and the l-cysteine is coordinated as a bidentate chelate by the carboxyl and thiol groups. E.s.r. spectra of the copper complexes are in good agreement with the low symmetry structure proposed. The one-electron reduction potentials Ec(Fc+/Fc) (V) of CuII to CuI were established for the four copper complexes from cyclic voltammetry studies. The one-electron oxidation potential Ea(Fc+/Fc+) (V) of NiII to NiIII was also measured for the nickel complex.  相似文献

The reactions of zirconium-dience complexes, ZrCp2(s-cis-diene), with bifunctional electrophiles, i.e. α,β-unsaturated ketones, unsaturated esters and substituted oxacyclopropanes, were investigated. Reaction of ZrCp2(s-cis-isoprene) with an equivalent of 3-buten-2-one or alkyl acrylates, selectively gives 1,2-addition products. CC bond formation occured at the C(1) atom of the isoprene moiety whereas 1,3-pentadiene-, 2-methyl-1,3-pentadiene- and 2,4-dimethyl-1,3-pentadiene complexes induced the regioselective 1,2-addition at the C(4) position of the diene moiety. Phenyloxacyclopropane and 2-methyl-3-phenyl-oxacyclopropane also react with ZrCp2(isoprene) leading to CC bond formation from the C(1) atom of isoprene to the oxirane carbon bearing the phenyl group. The corresponding reactions of 2-methyl-2-butene-1,4-diylmagnesium with α,β-unsaturated carbonyl compounds were also studied and found to give quite different products.  相似文献

Summary Two novel trinuclear complexes were prepared, namely [Cu2(oxae)2(H2O)2M] (ClO4)2, [oxae = N,N-bis(2-aminoethyl) oxamido dianion; M = Co and Ni]. Based on elemental analyses, conductivity measurements and i.r. spectra, the complexes are proposed to have extended oxamidobridged structures. The magnetic susceptibility of [Cu2-(oxae) 2(H2O)2Co](ClO4)2 were measured over the 4–300 K range and the observed data were successfully simulated by an equation based on the spin Hamiltonian, =–2J(1·2·2·3). The exchange integral, J, was found to be equal to –29.2 cm–1, indicating an antiferromagnetic spin-exchange interaction between the adjacent metal ions.  相似文献

Four new NiII–NiII–NiII homotrinuclear complexes namely [Ni(-BD)2{NiL2}](ClO4)2 [L = 1,10-phenanthroline (phen), 5-nitro-1,10-phenanthroline (5-NO2-phen), 2,2-bipyridyl (bpy) or 4,4-dimethyl-2,2bipyridyl (Me2bpy) and (-BD)– = -benzyldioximato ion] have been prepared and characterized. Based on elemental analyses, i.r. spectra, conductivity measurements, extended -benzyldioximato-bridged systems consisting of three nickel(II) ions in which the central nickel(II) ion has a square-planar environment and the end capped two nickel(II) ions have a distorted octahedral environment are proposed for these structures. The temperature dependence of the magnetic susceptibility for complexes (1) (phen), (2) (5-NO2-phen), (3) (bpy) and (4) (Me2bpy) were measured over the 77–300 K range and the observed data were successfully simulated by an equation based on the spin Hamiltonian operator (H^ = –2JS^1S^2), giving the exchange integral J = –13.31 cm–1 for (1), J = –7.37 cm–1 for (2), J = –8.96 cm–1 for (3) and J = –7.33 cm–1 for (4) These results indicate a weak antiferromagnetic spin exchange interaction between the two terminal nickel(II) io  相似文献

Two new ternary complexes of silver(I) with 1,3-bis(1-ethylbenzimidazol-2-yl)-2-thiapropane (bebt) and two ·α,β-unsaturated carboxylates, [Ag(bebt)(crotonate)] (1) and [Ag(bebt)2](o-coumarate)·CH3CN·2C2H5OH (2), have been synthesized, and characterized by physicochemical and spectroscopic methods. Single-crystal X-ray diffraction revealed that the coordination environment of 1 can be described as trigonal planar, while 2 has a distorted tetrahedral geometry. Experimental studies of the DNA-binding properties indicated that the free ligand and both complexes bind to DNA via intercalation, and the order of the binding affinity is 1 > bebt > 2. Antioxidant activity experiments show that 2 possesses significant antioxidant activity against hydroxyl radicals, with more efficient hydroxy radical scavenging compared with mannitol and vitamin C.  相似文献

The asymmetric hydrogenation of tetrasubstituted α,β-unsaturated ketones has been accomplished using an in situ formed rhodium-Josiphos catalyst. Salicylaldehyde, 5-bromo- and 5-nitrosalicylaldehydes, 2-hydroxynaphthalene-1-carbaldehyde, and 2,3-, 2,4-, and 2,5-dihydroxybenzaldehydes reacted with glycine, alanine, and phenylalanine in ethanol in the presence of imidazole (Im) and copper(II) acetate hydrate to give copper(II) chelates with the composition Cu(Im)(L) · nH2O (H2L is the condensation product of the above aldehydes with α-amino acids; n = 0–2). The structure of the complex Cu(Im)(L1) [H2L1 = 2-(2-hydroxybenzylideneamino)acetic acid] was determined by X-ray analysis. The crystalline structure of [2-(2-hydroxybenzylideneamino)acetato](imidazole)copper is formed by polymeric chains of the Cu(Im)(L1) molecules linked through bridging oxygen atoms in the carboxy groups of the Schiff base ligand. The coordination unit has a distorted tetragonal pyramid configuration, where the pyramid base is composed of the phenol and carboxy oxygen atoms, CH=N nitrogen atom in the ligand H2L1 and imidazole nitrogen atom. The oxygen atom in the carboxy group in the neighboring molecule occupies the apical position of the coordination pyramid. The other coordination compounds also have polynuclear structure with the Schiff base H2L acting as doubly deprotonated tridentate O,N,O-ligand and bridging carboxy groups. Thermal decomposition of the complexes includes their dehydration (70–95°C), while complete thermal decomposition occurs at 360–530°C. The synthesized complexes showed selective antimicrobial activity in the concentration range from 75 to 300 μg/ml against a number of standard strains of Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli.  相似文献

The complexes [Cu(biq)2]Cl2 and [Cu(biq)2]BF4·biq (biq?=?2,2′-biquinoline) have been prepared and characterized. The interconversion to copper(I) complex [Cu(biq)2]BF4·biq, from [Cu(biq)2]Cl2 has been established. The new complexes have been characterized by elemental analysis, conductivity and magnetic measurements, IR, UV-vis and 1H- and 13C-NMR spectroscopy. The X-ray analysis of the complex [Cu(biq)2]BF4·biq supports the assumption of the interconversion of copper(II) to copper(I) in this case. The crystal structure shows that geometry around the metal is severely distorted from Td, and displays many supramolecular motifs incorporating both hydrophobic (aryl···aryl) and hydrophilic (C–H···F) intermolecular interactions. The microbiological activity of the complexes against bacteria and fungi was found to be high against Candida albicans, and slight to moderate against bacteria. The antimicrobial activity of [Cu(biq)2]BF4·biq was slightly better than that observed for [Cu(biq)2]Cl2 against both bacteria and fungi.  相似文献

Summary Two -phenoxo-bridged binuclear copper(II) complexes, [Fsal(GG)2Cu2Cl3]·H2O (1) containing an exogenous chloride-bridge and [Fsal(GG)2Cu2(OH)](ClO4)2·H2O (2) containing an exogenous hydroxide-bridge, where {Fsal(GG)2 = 2,6-bis[N-(acetylglycine)-imino-methylene]-4-methylphenol}, were synthesized. The complexes were characterized be several spectroscopic methods. According to variable temperature magnetic susceptibility measurements (4–300 K), the hydroxide-bridged complex (2) has a weak antiferromagnetic spin exchange integral (J =- 23.6 cm), while the chloride complex (1) has an unusual weak ferromagnetic spin exchange integral (J = + 30.9 cm); both complexes have similar optical spectra in the aqueous solutions.  相似文献
