A novel, simple, sensitive and selective spectrofluorimetric method was developed for the determination of trace amounts of chlorzoxazone and Ibuprofen in pharmaceutical tablets using optical sensor Eu-Tetracycline HCl doped in sol–gel matrix. The chlorzoxazone or Ibuprofen can remarkably enhance the luminescence intensity of Eu-Tetracycline HCl complex doped in a sol–gel matrix in dimethylformamide (DMF) at pH 9.7 and 6.3, respectively, λex = 400 nm. The enhancing of luminescence intensity peak of Eu-Tetracycline HCl complex at 617 nm is proportional to the concentration of chlorzoxazone or Ibuprofen a result that suggested profitable application as a simple optical sensor for chlorzoxazone or Ibuprofen assessment. The dynamic ranges found for the determination of chlorzoxazone and Ibuprofen concentration are 5 × 10−9–1 × 10−4 and 1 × 10−8–7 × 10−5 mol L−1, and the limit of detection (LOD) and quantitation limit of detection (LOQ) are 3.1 × 10−10 , 9.6 × 10−10 and 5.6 × 10−10, 1.7 × 10−9 mol L−1, respectively.  相似文献

We present the results of studies of the nonlinear optical properties of Pd, Ru, and Au nanoparticles. We studied the nonlinear refraction and nonlinear absorption of suspensions of these nanoparticles at 1064-nm wavelength. A relatively strong nonlinear absorption of the Pd nanoparticles was observed in the case of 1064-nm, 50-ps pulses (β=2×10−9 m W−1). The Ru and Pd nanoparticles showed weak negative nonlinear refraction (γ∼−(6–8)×10−16 m2 W−1) in this spectral range. In the case of the Au nanoparticles, a saturated absorption at 532 nm dominated over other nonlinear optical processes.  相似文献

A simple and sensitive spectrofluorimetric method for determination of trace amount of doxycycline hydrochloride (DC) in pharmaceutical tablets and serum samples was developed. In ammonia buffer solution of pH 8.9 the doxycycline hydrochloride can remarkably enhance the luminescence intensity of the Sm3+ ion in Sm3+- DC complex at λex = 400 nm. The produced luminescence intensity of Sm3+- DC complex in DMSO is in proportion to the concentration of DC and used as optical sensor for its determination. The dynamic range for the determination of DC is 1 × 10−8 – 5 × 10−6 mol L−1 and in case of quantum yield calculations is 7 × 10−9 – 5 × 10−6 mol L−1 with detection limit of 6.5 × 10−10 mol L−1. The enhancement mechanism of the luminescence intensity in the Sm3+- DC system has been also discussed. A comparison with other spectrofluorimetric methods for tetracycline derivatives in which Eu3+ ion is used instead of Sm3+ ion is also studied.  相似文献

It is found that silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) can further enhance the fluorescence intensity of curcumin (CU) - cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) – nucleic acids and improve its anti-photobleaching activity. Under optimum conditions, the enhanced fluorescence intensity is proportion to the concentration of nucleic acids in the range of 2.0 × 10−8–1.0 × 10−6 g mL−1 for fish sperm DNA (fsDNA), 2.0 × 10−8–1.0 × 10−6 g mL−1 for calf thymus DNA (ctDNA), 1.0 × 10−8–1.0 × 10−6 g mL−1 for yeast RNA (yRNA), and their detection limits (S/N = 3) are 8.0 ng mL−1, 10.5 ng mL−1 and 5.8 ng mL−1, respectively. This method is used for determining the concentration of DNA in actual sample with satisfactory results. The interaction mechanism is also studied.  相似文献

CaCu3Ti4O12 (CCTO) thin films were successfully prepared on LaAlO3 substrates by pulsed laser deposition technique. We measured the nonlinear optical susceptibility of the thin films using Z-scan method at a wavelength of 532 nm with pulse durations of 25 ps and 7 ns. The large values of the third-order nonlinear optical susceptibility, χ (3), of the CCTO film were obtained to be 2.79×10−8 esu and 3.30×10−6 esu in picosecond and nanosecond time regimes, respectively, which are among the best results of some representative nonlinear optical materials. The origin of optical nonlinearity of CCTO films was discussed. The results indicate that the CCTO films on LaAlO3 substrates are promising candidate materials for applications in nonlinear optical devices.  相似文献

The two-photon absorption spectrum and cross-section (δ) for ruby (Cr3+:sapphire) have been measured over the 0.8–1.2 μm wavelength range at 25°C. Absolute values of δ were obtained by comparing the fluorescence yield for two-photon excitation with that for single-photon excitation of the same ionic transition under identical illumination conditions. The maximum values of δ are 4.6×10−3 GM for o-polarisation and 5.9×10−3 GM for e-polarisation at 840 nm. The relevance of these measurements to distributed optical fibre sensing is briefly discussed.  相似文献

Single beam z-scan measurements have been made on films containing amorphous polycarbonate and the zwitterionic chromophore, PYR-3, that has a very high second order nonlinear optical (NLO) figure of merit. The third order NLO figure of merit is ≈1.6 at 1030 nm and is comparable to that found in organic compounds optimized for high n 2 values. The two-photon absorption coefficient is 2.1×10−12 m/W, which is very low and advantageous for NLO device applications. The third order NLO refractive index is −1.4×10−18 m2/W.  相似文献

Electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) study of Cu2+-doped sodium zinc sulfate tetrahydrate is done at liquid nitrogen temperature. Two magnetically equivalent sites for Cu2+ are observed. The spin-Hamiltonian parameters determined by fitting the EPR spectra to the rhombic-symmetry crystalline field are g x  = 2.2356, g y  = 2.0267, g z  = 2.3472, A x  = 27 × 10−4 cm−1, A y  = 54 × 10−4 cm−1and A z  = 88 × 10−4 cm−1. The ground state wave function is also determined. The g-anisotropy is evaluated and compared with the experimental value. With the help of optical study, the nature of bonding in the complex is discussed.  相似文献

We have explored the performance of two “dark fibers” of a commercial telecommunication fiber link for a remote comparison of optical clocks. The two fibers, linking the Leibniz University of Hanover (LUH) with the Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB) in Braunschweig, are connected in Hanover to form a total fiber length of 146 km. At PTB the performance of an optical frequency standard operating at 456 THz was imprinted to a cw transfer laser at 194 THz, and its frequency was transmitted over the fiber. In order to detect and compensate phase noise related to the optical fiber link we have built a low-noise optical fiber interferometer and investigated noise sources that affect the overall performance of the optical link. The frequency stability at the remote end has been measured using the clock laser of PTB’s Yb+ frequency standard operating at 344 THz. We show that the frequency of a frequency-stabilized fiber laser can be transmitted over a total fiber length of 146 km with a relative frequency uncertainty below 1×10−19, and short term frequency instability given by the fractional Allan deviation of σ y (τ)=3.3×10−15/(τ/s).  相似文献

Reactive cosputtering is employed to prepare high-permittivity HfTiO gate dielectric on n-Ge substrate. Effects of Ge-surface pretreatment on the interface and gate leakage properties of the dielectric are investigated. Excellent performances of Al/HfTiO/GeO x N y /n-Ge MOS capacitor with wet–NO surface pretreatment have been achieved with a interface-state density of 2.1×1011 eV−1 cm−2, equivalent oxide charge of −7.67×1011 cm−2 and gate leakage current density of 4.97×10−5 A/cm2 at V g =1 V.  相似文献

The electron paramagnetic resonance study of Cu2+-doped bis(l-asparaginato)Mg(II) is performed at room temperature. Two magnetically non-equivalent sites for Cu2+ are observed. The spin-Hamiltonian parameters evaluated by fitting spectra to the crystalline field of rhombic symmetry are as follows: g x  = 2.0420 ± 0.0002, g y  = 2.0808 ± 0.0002, g z  = 2.3600 ± 0.0002, A x  = (99 ± 2) × 10−4 cm−1, A y  = (108 ± 2) × 10−4 cm−1, A z  = (140 ± 2) × 10−4 cm−1. The ground state wave function of Cu2+ is also determined. The g-anisotropy is estimated and compared with the experimental value. Further, with the help of optical study the nature of bonding of a metal ion with different ligands in the complex is discussed.  相似文献

The efficiency of excited-state interaction between Tb3+ and the industrial product Cilostazol (CIL) has been studied in different solvents. High luminescence intensity peak at 545 nm of terbium complex in acetonitrile was obtained. The photophysical properties of the green emissive Tb3+ complex have been elucidated, the terbium was used as optical sensor for the assessment of CIL in the pharmaceutical tablets and body fluids at pH 3.1 and λex = 320 nm with a concentration range 1.0 × 10−9–1.0 × 10−6 mol L−1 of CIL, correlation coefficient of 0.998 and detection limit of 7.5 × 10−10 mol L−1.  相似文献

A sensitive and selective method for the trace determination of 3, 3’, 4, 4’-tetrachlorobiphenyl (PCB77) by using bovine serum albumin (BSA) as a fluorescence probe was introduced. Under optimum conditions, the enhanced fluorescence intensity was proportional to the concentration of polychlorinated biphenyls in the range of 8.9 × 10−8–5.0 × 10−6 mol L−1 for PCB77, and 5.0 × 10−7–5.0 × 10−6 mol L−1 for 2, 2’, 5, 5’-tetrachlorbiphenyl (PCB52). The detection limits (S/N = 3) of PCB77 and PCB52 were 2.6 × 10−8 mol L−1 and 2.9 × 10−7 mol L−1, respectively. Furthermore, the fluorescence enhancement mechanism was discussed in detail. Results indicated that fluorescence enhancement of the system originated from the formation of BSA-PCBs complexes. In addition, PCBs were mainly bound to the tyrosine residues in BSA molecules.  相似文献

A simple and selective method to determine norfloxacin using an optical flow-through sensor has been developed. The present sensor was prepared by packing anionic ion exchange resin in a glass tube, followed by introducing KMnO4 solution to the glass tube for immobilization on resin. The optical sensor is based on the emission intensity from the Tb(III) solution sensitized by norfloxacin. The excitation of norfloxacin occurred by the chemiluminescence from the reaction of KMnO4 and Na2SO4 solutions. The effects of pH, concentration of Tb(III) ion, KMnO4 and Na2SO4 solutions and flow rate of the norfloxacin solution on the chemiluminescence intensity were studied to find the optimum experimental conditions. The emission intensity increased linearly with increasing norfloxacin concentration from 1.0 × 10−3 to 1.0 × 10−8 M and the detection limit (3σ) was 8.7 × 10−9. The applicability of the present method was demonstrated by determination of norfloxacin in various pharmaceutical preparations and serum sample.  相似文献

A simple, rapid and effective analytical method based on fluorescence spectroscopy for the determination of coumarin in pharmaceutical formulations without pre-treatment or pre-concentration step was development. Coumarin had maximum excitation and emission at 310 nm and 390 nm, respectively. Optimum conditions for the detection of coumarin were investigated. Under optimized conditions, we observed a linear behavior for the sign of coumarin in the concentration range of 2.5 × 10−6 to 1.0 × 10−4 mol L−1, with linearity of 0.998 and sensitivity of 2.9 × 1010 u.a/mol L−1. The proposed method was validated in terms of accuracy, precision and specificity of coumarin using the standard addition and external calibration. It was noted that the results support (P < 0.05), indicating that the matrices were not an interference in the determination of coumarin by fluorescence spectroscopy. The results were favorable compared with those obtained by reference chromatographic methods.  相似文献

Cavity-enhanced direct frequency comb spectroscopy (CE-DFCS) has demonstrated powerful potential for trace-gas detection based on its unique combination of high bandwidth, rapid data acquisition, high sensitivity, and high resolution, which is unavailable with conventional systems. However, previous demonstrations have been limited to proof-of-principle experiments or studies of fundamental laboratory science. Here, we present the development of CE-DFCS towards an industrial application—measuring impurities in arsine, an important process gas used in III–V semiconductor compound manufacturing. A strongly absorbing background gas with an extremely complex, congested, and broadband spectrum renders trace detection exceptionally difficult, but the capabilities of CE-DFCS overcome this challenge and make it possible to identify and quantify multiple spectral lines associated with water impurities. Further, frequency combs allow easy access to new spectral regions via efficient nonlinear optical processes. Here, we demonstrate detection of multiple potential impurities across 1.75–1.95 μm (5710–5130 cm−1), with a single-channel detection sensitivity (simultaneously over 2000 channels) of ∼4×10−8 cm−1 Hz−1/2 in nitrogen and, specifically, an absorption sensitivity of ∼4×10−7 cm−1 Hz−1/2 for trace water doped in arsine.  相似文献

Aqueous suspensions containing 4.45 × 10−5 − 1.25 × 10−3 M ZnO particles exhibit a strong antibacterial activity against E. coli under the dark conditions. The dominant mechanisms of such antibacterial behaviour are found to be either or both of chemical interactions between hydrogen peroxide and membrane proteins, and chemical interactions between other unknown chemical species generated due to the presence of ZnO particles with the lipid bilayer. The effect of direct physical interactions between nanoparticles and biological cells are found to play a relatively small role under the conditions of this study.  相似文献

We further discuss possible sgoldstino interpretation of the observation, reported by the HyperCP collaboration, of three Σ+pμ+μ decay events with the dimuon invariant mass 214.3 MeV within the detector resolution. With a sgoldstino mass equal to 214.3 MeV, this interpretation can be verified at existing and future B and ϕ factories. We find that the most natural values of the branching ratios of two-body B and D meson decays to sgoldstino P and vector meson V are about 10−6−10−7. The branching ratios of ϕ meson decay ϕ → Pγ are estimated to be in the range 1.8 × 10−13−1.6 × 10−7, depending on the hierarchy of supersymmetry-breaking soft terms. Similar branching ratios for ρ and ω mesons are in the range 10−14−3.4 × 10−7. The text was submitted by the authors in English.  相似文献

We report K α x-ray production with a high energy (110 mJ per pulse at 800 nm before compression/15 mJ at 400 nm after compression), high repetition rate (100 Hz), and high pulse contrast (better than 10−9 at 400 nm) laser system. To develop laser-based x-ray sources for biomedical imaging requires to use high-energy and high-power ultrafast laser system where compression is achieved under vacuum. Using this type of laser system, we demonstrate long-term stability of the x-ray yield, conversion efficiency higher than 1.5×10−5 with a Mo target, and the x-ray spot size close to the optical focal spot. This high-repetition K α x-ray source can be very useful for x-ray phase-contrast imaging. S. Fourmaux and C. Serbanescu contributed equally to this work.  相似文献

The nonlinear optical properties of a hyperbranched polyyne (hb-Polyyne) have been measured at infrared wavelengths by using femtosecond and nanosecond pulsed excitation. This hyperbranched polyyne exhibited strong and intrinsic (simultaneous) two-photon absorption and upconverted blue fluorescent emission under femtosecond excitation around 800 nm. The hb-Polyyne in chloroform solution is characterized by a large two-photon absorption cross section of 9068 GM (1GM=10−50 cm4 s) and a fluorescence quantum yield of 0.57. On the other hand, by third-harmonic generation (THG) spectroscopy with nanosecond excitation, the measured third-order nonlinear susceptibility χ (3) for solid films of hb-Polyyne ranged from 2.4×10−11 to 6.1×10−11 esu in the spectral range of 1100–1600 nm, with results comparable to the values exhibited by the well-known conjugated polymer MEH:PPV, but with a much better transparency for visible wavelengths.  相似文献
