We calculate the radiative decay widths of the a 0(980) and f 0(980) scalar mesons into ργ and ωγ considering the dynamically generated nature of these scalar resonances within the realm of the chiral unitary approach. The main ingredient in the evaluation of the radiative width of the scalar mesons are the loops coming from the decay into their constituent pseudoscalar-pseudoscalar components and the subsequent radiation of the photon. The dominant diagrams with only pseudoscalar mesons in the loops are found to be convergent while the divergence of those with a vector meson in the loop are written in terms of the two-meson loop function easily regularizable. We provide results for all the possible charge channels and obtain results, with uncertainties, which differ significantly from quark loops models and some version of vector meson dominance.  相似文献

We have calculated the electroweak radiative corrections at the level to the three channels of the process f11ZA→0 and implemented them into the SANC system. Here A stands for the photon and f1 for a first generation fermion whose mass is neglected everywhere except in the arguments of logarithmic functions. The symbol →0 means that 4-momenta of all the external particles flow inwards. We present the complete analytical results for the covariant and helicity amplitudes for three cross channels: f11→Zγ, Z→f11γ and f1γ→f1Z. The one-loop scalar form factors of these channels are simply related by an appropriate permutation of their arguments, s,t,u. To check the correctness of our results we first of all observe the independence of the scalar form factors on the gauge parameters and the validity of the Ward identity, i.e. external photon transversality, and, secondly, compare our numerical results with the other independent calculations available to us. In this paper we describe the implementation of the complete next-to-leading order electroweak calculations for the various cross channels of the process f11HA→0 in the framework of the SANC system. Here A stands for a photon and f1 for a fermion whose mass is neglected everywhere besides arguments of logarithmic functions. The symbol →0 means that all 4-momenta of the external particles flow inwards. The derived one-loop scalar form factors can be used for any cross channel after an appropriate permutation of their arguments s,t,u. We present the complete analytical results for the covariant and helicity amplitudes for three cross channels: f11→Hγ, H→f11γ and f1γ→f1H. For checking of the correctness of the results first of all we observe the independence of the scalar form factors on the gauge parameters and the validity of the Ward identity (external photon transversality), and, secondly, we make an extensive comparison of our numerical results with other independent calculations. In this paper we describe the implementation of the charged current decays of the type t→bl+νl(γ) in the framework of the SANC system. All calculations are done taking into account the one-loop electroweak correction in the standard model. The emphasis of this paper is on the presentation of numerical results. Various distributions are produced by means of a Monte Carlo integrator and event generator. Comparison with the results of the CompHEP and PYTHIA packages are presented for the Born and hard photon contributions. The validity of the cascade approximation at one-loop level is also studied. We discuss a possible interpretation of the f 0(980)-meson as a hadronic molecule —a bound state of K and mesons. Using a phenomenological Lagrangian approach we calculate the strong f 0(980) → ππ and electromagnetic f 0(980) → γγ decays. The compositeness condition provides a self-consistent method to determine the coupling constant between f 0 and its constituents, K and . Form factors governing the decays of the f 0(980) are calculated by evaluating the kaon loop integrals. The predicted f 0(980) → ππ and f 0(980) → γγ decay widths are in good agreement with available data and results of other theoretical approaches.  相似文献

Differential cross-sections for the reactions d (γ,π0)d and d (γ,π0)pn have been measured at MAMI with the TAPS detector setup in the energy range 140 MeV < E γ < 306 MeV. By use of the Glasgow tagging spectrometer an 0.8 MeV energy resolution for photons incident on the target was achieved. The π0 missing energy resolution was sufficient for a reliable separation of coherent and incoherent channels. The data for the break-up channel exhibit very strong final state interaction effects, whereas the observed angular dependence of the inclusive process d (γ,π0)X is in quantitative agreement with predictions for a quasi-free process. The observed absolute d (γ,π0)X cross-sections, on the other hand, are significantly smaller than predicted by the quasi-free process for E γ >∼ 250 MeV. Associating this failure with the π0 photoproduction on the neutron would suggest that its cross-section is up to 25% below the presently believed value. The signs and values of the two-photon couplings F Mγγ of mesons (M) and their couplings gMNN to the nucleon as entering into the t -channel parts of the difference of the electromagnetic polarizabilities (α - β) and the backward angle spin polarizabilities γπ are determined. The excellent agreement achieved with the experimental polarizabilities of the proton makes it possible to make reliable predictions for the neutron. The results obtained are αn = 13.4±1.0 , βn = 1.8±1.0 (10-4fm^3), and γ(n) π = 57.6±1.8 (10-4fm^4). New empirical information on the flavor wave functions of the f 0(980) - and the a 0(980) -meson is obtained.  相似文献

The correlations of the linear and circular polarizations in the system of two photons have been theoretically investigated. The polarization of a two-photon state is described by the one-photon Stokes parameters and by the components of the correlation “tensor” in the Stokes space. It is shown that in the case of two-photon decays π0 → 2γ, η → 2γ, K L 0 → 2γ, K S 0 → 2γ and the cascade process |0〉 → |1〉 + γ → |0〉 + 2γ(|0〉 and |1〉 are states with the spin 0 and 1, respectively) the final two-photon state represents a characteristic example of the entangled (nonfactorizable) state, and the correlations between the Stokes parameters in all these decays have the purely quantum character: the incoherence inequalities of the Bell type for the components of the correlation “tensor”, established previously for the case of classical “mixtures”, are violated. The general analysis of the registration procedure for two correlated photons by two one-photon detectors is performed.  相似文献

Simulations based on a coupled-channel transport model have been performed to analyze the feasibility to study the in-medium ω mass exploiting the process γ + A→π0γ + X for C, Ca and Nb nuclei. The distortions due to final-state interactions of the π0 and background contributions from the reaction γ + A→π0π0 + X are found to be small in the mass range of interest ( 0.6 < M π0γ < 0.8 GeV). Furthermore, the effect of the detector resolution on the π0γ mass determination is discussed. Received: 5 December 2000 / Accepted: 18 May 2001  相似文献

The scalar contributions to the radiative decay φK 0ˉ0 γ are studied within the framework of the Linear Sigma Model (LσM). Theoretical predictions for the associated subprocesses φf 0 γ and φa 0 γ as well as the ratio φf 0 γ/a 0 γ are also given.  相似文献

High-statistics data on the γγ → π0η reaction will make it possible to conclude whether the K + K -loop rescattering mechanism, γγ → K + K a 0(980) → π0η, is the main mechanism of the production of a 0(980) isovector resonance. This mechanism provides a reasonable value of 20–30 nb at the maximum for the manifestation of a 0(980) in the γγ → π0η cross section. It also gives rise to a noticeable narrowing of the a 0(980) peak to its effective (observed) width ≈20–30 MeV in the γγ → π0η channel. The decay width averaged over the resonance mass distribution is 〈Γα 0K + K → γγ〉πη ≈ 0.13 keV. The experimental confirmation of this scenario would be important evidence in favor of the q 2 $ \bar q $ \bar q 2 nature of light scalar mesons.  相似文献

We showed in Part I that the Hopf algebra ℋ of Feynman graphs in a given QFT is the algebra of coordinates on a complex infinite dimensional Lie group G and that the renormalized theory is obtained from the unrenormalized one by evaluating at ɛ= 0 the holomorphic part γ+(ɛ) of the Riemann–Hilbert decomposition γ(ɛ)− 1γ+(ɛ) of the loop γ(ɛ)∈G provided by dimensional regularization. We show in this paper that the group G acts naturally on the complex space X of dimensionless coupling constants of the theory. More precisely, the formula g 0=gZ 1 Z 3 −3/2 for the effective coupling constant, when viewed as a formal power series, does define a Hopf algebra homomorphism between the Hopf algebra of coordinates on the group of formal diffeomorphisms to the Hopf algebra ℋ. This allows first of all to read off directly, without using the group G, the bare coupling constant and the renormalized one from the Riemann–Hilbert decomposition of the unrenormalized effective coupling constant viewed as a loop of formal diffeomorphisms. This shows that renormalization is intimately related with the theory of non-linear complex bundles on the Riemann sphere of the dimensional regularization parameter ɛ. It also allows to lift both the renormalization group and the β-function as the asymptotic scaling in the group G. This exploits the full power of the Riemann–Hilbert decomposition together with the invariance of γ(ɛ) under a change of unit of mass. This not only gives a conceptual proof of the existence of the renormalization group but also delivers a scattering formula in the group G for the full higher pole structure of minimal subtracted counterterms in terms of the residue. The structure of stationary isotropic, homogeneous turbulence in an incompressible fluid with Re ≫ 1 set into motion by a force with amplitude f 0 and spatial and temporal time scales of r 0 and τ 0, respectively, is examined. It is found that, depending on the magnitude of the force that sets the fluid into motion, three fundamentally different turbulent stationary states of the fluid can develop and the dimensionless parameters responsible for transitions from one state to another, γ=f 0 τ 0 2 /r 0 and Γ=γ 4/3 Re, are determined. It is shown that for γ≪1 and Γ≪1 a Kolmogorov spectrum with E(k)∝1/k 5/3 develops in the inertial range. During the transition to turbulent flows driven by large amplitude forces f 0, i.e., during the transition to a regime with γ≪1 and Γ ≫ 1, a segment of the spectrum with E(k)∝1/k 2 develops near the viscous range and “detaches” the Kolmogorov spectrum from the viscous range. Further increases in the amplitude f 0 of the force, i.e., approaching the parameter range with γ≫1 and Γ≫1, causes the entire inertial range to be “occupied” by a spectrum E(k)∝1/k 2, and outside the inertial range, large scale structures with a characteristic size extending to γ 2/5 r 0 begin to be generated. In the regime with Γ≪1, the power dissipated per unit mass of fluid is independent of the viscosity, but on going to turbulent regimes with Γ≫1, the viscous losses begin to depend on the viscosity of the fluid. The “turn-off” of viscous dissipation for Γ≫1 shows that a drag crisis can occur simply as the source power is increased, without any further conditions. With this method for the excitation of turbulence, the Loitsyanskii integral diverges for arbitrary values of γ and Γ. A physical mechanism is proposed to explain the readjustment of the spectrum of the turbulent fluctuations at different γ and Γ. These results have all been obtained neglecting intermittency. High-statistics Belle data on the γγ → π0η reaction have been analyzed in order to reveal the mechanism of two-photon production and the nature of the a 0(980) resonance. The solution obtained for the γγ → π0η amplitude is in agreement with the predictions of the chiral theory for the πη-scattering length; with the strong coupling of the a 0(980) resonance with the πη, K $ \bar K $ \bar K , and πη′ channels; and with the key role of the a 0(980) → (K $ \bar K $ \bar K + π0η + π0η′) → γγ rescattering mechanisms in the a 0(980) → γγ decay. This picture is much in favor of the q 2 $ \bar q $ \bar q 2 nature of a 0(980) resonance and is consistent with the properties of its partners, σ0(600) and f 0(980) resonances, in particular, with those manifested in the γγ → ππ reactions. The important role of vector exchanges in the formation of the nonresonant background in the γγ → π0η reaction has been revealed. Preliminary information on the π0η → π0η reaction has been obtained.  相似文献

Let b γ (t), b γ(0)= 0 be a fractional Brownian motion, i.e., a Gaussian process with the structure function , 0 < γ < 2. We study the logarithmic asymptotics of P T = P{b γ (t) < 1,□tTΔ} as T→∞, where Δ is either the interval (0,1) or a bounded region that contains a vicinity of 0 for the case of multidimensional time. It is shown that ln P T = - D ln T(1 + o(1)), where D is the dimension of zeroes of b γ (t) in the former case and the dimension of time in the latter. In the framework of the spectral integral equation, we consider the states and their radiative transitions. We reconstruct the interaction on the basis of data for the levels of the bottomonium states with J PC = 0−+, 1−−, 0++, 1++, 2++ as well as the data for the radiative transitions γ (3S) → γχbJ(2P) and γ(2S) → γχbJ(1P) with J = 0, 1, 2. We calculate bottomonium levels with the radial quantum numbers n ≤ 6, their wave functions, and corresponding radiative transitions. The ratios Br[χbJ(2P) → γγ(2S)]/Br[χbJ(2P) → γγ(1S)] for J = 0, 1, 2 are found to be in agreement with data. We determine the component of the photon wave function using the data for the e + e annihilation, e + e → γ(9460), γ(10 023), γ(10 036), γ(10 580), γ(10 865), γ(11 019), and predict partial widths of the two-photon decays ηb0 → γγ, χb0 → γγ, χb2 → γγ for the radial excitation states below the threshold (n ≤ 3). The widths with respect to the radiative decays f 0(980) → ργ and a 0(980) → ωγ were calculated within the local Nambu-Jona-Lasinio model. The contributions of both quark and meson loops were taken into account. The latter and the former play a dominant role for the radiative decays of, respectively, the f 0(980) and the a 0(980) meson.  相似文献

In this paper we present the results of the implementation of the decay tbf 1 $ \bar f $ \bar f ′1 into the SANC system (f 1 is a massless fermion). The new aspect of the work is the combination of QCD and EW corrections. All calculations are done at the one-loop level in the Standard Model. We give a detailed account of the new procedure — the forming of a class of J AW, WA functions. These functions are related to the procedure of extraction of infrared and mass-shell singular divergences. The emphasis of this paper is on the presentation of numerical results for various approaches: complete one-loop calculations and different versions of pole approximations.  相似文献

The Compton scattering on a charged pion and the process γγ→π0π0 are studied using the dispersion relations. Unknown parameters of the S-wave ππ interaction and a sum and a difference of the π0 meson polarizabilities are found from a fit to the experimental data for the γγ→π0π0 process. The found parameters of the ππ interaction are used for the calculation of the cross section of the elastic γπ± scattering. The analysis of the obtained results shows that the experimental data for the elastic γπ± scattering in the energy region up to 1 GeV together with the data for the γγ→π0π0 process could be used both for a determination of the pion polarizability values and for study of the S-wave ππ interaction.
