Continuous-wave Raman generation in a compact solid-state laser system pumped by a multimode diode laser is demonstrated. The Stokes radiation of stimulated Raman scattering at 1.181 microm is generated as a result of self-frequency conversion of the 1.067 microm laser radiation in Nd3+:KGd(WO4)2 crystal placed in the cavity. The Raman threshold was measured at 1.15 W of laser diode power. The highest output power obtained at the Stokes wavelength was 54 mW. The anomalous delay of Raman generation relative to the start of laser generation (the oscillation buildup) due to slow accumulation of Stokes photons in the cavity at low Raman gain and Raman threshold dependence not only on the laser intensity but also on the time of laser action are observed.  相似文献

Continuous-wave operation of a diode-pumped Nd:YVO4 laser with self-frequency Raman conversion is demonstrated. The threshold of Raman generation was measured to be 1.3 W of laser diode power. The maximum output power of Stokes radiation at the wavelength of 1177 nm was up to 50 mW at a laser diode pump power of 2.3 W, corresponding to the slope efficiency of 5%. An investigation of the plasmon production by Raman conversion of laser light is reported. The threshold laser power for plasmon amplification is derived from a balance the gain process (Raman conversion) and the loss processes (Landau and collisional dampings). Application to a helium plasma provides threshold values for visible and infrared laser radiation near some He(I) forbidden transitions.  相似文献

Diode pumped continuous-wave intracavity Raman conversion in a composite Nd:KGW/KGW crystal has been investigated. The use of a Nd:KGW/KGW crystal instead of the ordinary Nd:KGW crystal has made it possible to considerably decrease intracavity losses. A Raman threshold corresponding to a diode laser power of 230 mW and a quantum efficiency of conversion of diode laser radiation to the Stokes radiation of 22% have been obtained.  为了提高以KGd(WO4)2晶体为拉曼介质的外腔式拉曼激光器的输出功率和转化效率,采用面积求和法编制matlab计算程序,对该激光器的传输耦合方程进行数值求解。计算得到了一至三阶斯托克斯光输出光强随时间的变化规律和受激拉曼散射的弛豫振荡过程。得出:拉曼谐振腔输出耦合镜对一阶斯托克斯光的反射率越高,拉曼谐振腔内的一阶斯托克斯光功率密度就越高,越有利于泵浦光向二阶斯托克斯光的转换。  相似文献

Efficient cw and passively Q-switched operation with self-stimulated Raman scattering conversion was demonstrated in a compact diode-pumped Yb:KLu(WO4)2 laser. A cw output power of 3.28 W was obtained with an optical efficiency of 48.2% and a slope efficiency of 78.2% with respect to the incident pump power. Stable Q-switched operation was achieved with a Cr4+:YAG saturable absorber, generating 32.4 microJ fundamental pulses with a duration of 1.41 ns at 1030.6 nm and 14.4 microJ Raman pulses with a duration of 0.71 ns at 1137.6 nm. At an incident pump power of 7.0 W, the average output power reached 0.9 and 0.4 W for fundamental and Raman radiation, with slope efficiencies of 32.1% and 14.1%, respectively.  相似文献

Stimulated Raman scattering in silicon was investigated at liquid helium temperatures. A Q-switched single mode Nd: YAG laser was used to generate Stokes radiation at 1.127 μm. Time resolved measurements give a maximum power conversion efficiency of 20%. The effects of intensity induced losses are discussed.  相似文献

A KGd(WO?)? Raman laser was pumped within the cavity of a cw diode-pumped InGaAs semiconductor disk laser (SDL). The Raman laser threshold was reached for 5.6 W of absorbed diode pump power, and output power up to 0.8 W at 1143 nm, with optical conversion efficiency of 7.5% with respect to the absorbed diode pump power, was demonstrated. Tuning the SDL resulted in tuning of the Raman laser output between 1133 and 1157 nm.  相似文献

采用单纵模Nd:YAG二倍频激光泵浦,研究了CH4气体中的受激喇曼散射.实验发现,当激光的重复频率为2 Hz,1.1 MPa CH4中,泵浦能量为95 mJ时,后向一级斯托克斯(BS1)的量子转化效率可达73%,并且由于激光脉冲的张弛振荡,BS1的脉宽被压窄到1.2 ns,峰值功率达到了泵浦光功率的2.7倍,其光束质量大大优于泵浦光.在同样条件下,而重复频率为10 Hz时,BS1的量子转化效率降低为36%,但对光束质量影响不大,这是因为BS1呈现为与泵浦光波前翻转的复制光波,可以补偿热畸变.研究结果表明,如果设计一个CH4/He混合气体的带封闭循环冷却系统的高性能630 nm喇曼激光器,可能有其实际应用价值.  相似文献

The conditions of parametric radiation generation on polaritons in cubic noncentrosymmetric crystals are studied. The possibility of such generation is theoretically justified. The polariton radiation frequencies are calculated for GaP, ZnSe, ZnTe, and GaAs crystals. The obtained generation frequencies are compared to the experimental results on Raman scattering on polaritons. The block diagram of the terahertz radiation generator operation using a GaP crystal and a pulsed laser with high peak power at low energy of laser pump pulses is presented. The lasing frequency shift is analyzed depending on the scattering geometry. The coefficient of exciting radiation conversion to the terahertz range is determined.  相似文献

A highly efficient cascaded P-doped Raman fiber laser (RFL) pumped by a 1064-nm continuous wave (CW) Nd:YVO4 solid-state laser is reported. 1.15-W CW output power at 1484 nm is obtained while the input pump power is 4 W, corresponding to the power conversion efficiency of 28.8%. The threshold pump power for the second-order Stokes radiation is 1.13 W. The slope efficiency is as high as 42.6%. The experimental results are in good agreement with theoretical ones. Furthermore, the power instability of the P-doped RFL at 1484 nm in an hour is observed to be less than 5%.  相似文献

We demonstrate the first quasi-CW (ms-long pulses, pump duty cycle of 10%) end-diode pumped solid state laser generating eye-safe radiation via intracavity Raman conversion. The output power at the first Stokes wavelength (1524 nm) was 250 mW. A theoretical model was applied to analyze the laser system and provide routes for optimization. 采用波长锁定878.9 nm激光二极管共振抽运复合Nd:YV04激光晶体,改善热效应的同时提高抽运吸收率,分别以YVO_4和BaWO_4晶体作为拉曼介质,实验和理论研究了晶体性能、谐振腔结构和稳定性对内腔分体式连续波拉曼激光器性能的影响.结果表明:由于内腔分体式拉曼激光器腔长较长,谐振腔稳定性对激光器性能影响较大,选择高增益的拉曼晶体,不仅可获得高拉曼转换效率,还能一定程度上减轻热效应.而平凹腔结构中输出镜的曲率半径越小,拉曼晶体中基频光的功率密度越大,腔的动态稳定区越宽,获得的拉曼激光输出功率更高.最终以30 mm的BaWO_4晶体作为拉曼介质,在抽运功率25.1 W时,获得了3.02 W的连续拉曼激光输出,光-光转换效率达到12%.  相似文献

橘黄色波段固体激光器在基于荧光探测的生物医学诊断和显示等众多方面有着广泛的实际应用. 报道了利用532 nm的Nd∶YAG倍频激光抽运外置喇曼腔内的硝酸钡晶体,获得高效率的599 nm橘黄色喇曼激光的实验结果.对外置喇曼腔实验装置和运转参量进行了优化,喇曼振荡腔由对二阶斯托克斯光有最优化反射率的腔镜构成,对实验中所得到的二阶斯托克斯喇曼激光脉宽压缩及出现双尖峰的现象进行了分析.当抽运光功率达到4.1 W时,获得二阶斯托克斯喇曼激光功率为710 mW,输出光中心波长为599.38 nm,半峰全宽(FWHM)为1.1 nm,激光器最大光光转换效率为17.5%,斜率效率为24.8%.  相似文献

The theoretical aspects of propagation of laser radiation along slanted paths in the atmosphere at high altitudes under conditions of stimulated Raman scattering (SRS) by molecular nitrogen are considered. The SRS power conversion coefficient, the transverse intensity distribution, and the effective size of laser beams with different initial spatial profiles are numerically simulated along the propagation path. The behavior of these parameters is studied for different ratios between the optical path length and the length of free diffraction of the initial laser beam. It is shown that, at a given level of the increment of the SRS amplification, the diffraction can both increase and decrease the efficiency of the Raman interaction of waves owing to the intensity redistribution in the transverse beam profile. This effect is the most pronounced for beams with non-Gaussian initial spatial intensity profiles.  相似文献

A crystalline Raman laser is pumped at 90° to the Raman laser axis by a single pass from a line-focused 532 nm pump laser of pulse duration 10 ns. The Raman laser threshold was 6.1 mJ, and at 12 mJ pump energy, a maximum output energy of 2.7 mJ was obtained with a slope efficiency of 46%. The threshold pump intensity is within a factor of 2 of the same device when end-pumped. The results highlight significant potential for coherent beam conversion and combination with enhanced degrees of flexibility and increased power.  相似文献

We demonstrate the continuous-wave operation of a solid-state Raman laser containing a barium nitrate crystal as the Raman medium. The Raman laser, which has a singly resonant cavity, is pumped by multimode radiation. The Raman oscillation threshold is reached at approximately 2 W of pump power. As much as 500 kW/cm2 of Stokes power density at 60-kW/cm2 pump power density is obtained in the cavity.  相似文献

An all-fiber 1.48-mum generator based on a laser-diode-pumped Yb-doped double-clad laser and a cascaded Raman wavelength converter has been developed. Second-order Raman Stokes radiation was generated in a phosphosilicate-fiber resonator formed by two pairs of Bragg gratings. A slope efficiency of the Raman converter of 48% with respect to the power emitted by the double-clad Yb laser has been achieved. We obtained an output power of 1 W at a slope efficiency of 34% with respect to the laser-diode array power, with a total optical-to-optical efficiency of 23%.  相似文献

对高荧光产率的蛋白质分子,用几种方法进行荧光猝灭实验以获取拉曼信号。如变换激发激光波长、以小功率激光长时间照射样品、以较大功率激光照射样品、表面增强拉曼散射及硝基苯萃取法,对此做了比较研究,发现消除牛血清白蛋白水溶液样品荧光的最佳方法是硝基苯萃取法,并给出由此得到的激光拉曼谱。  相似文献
