Bellman and Zadeh have originated three systems of multistage decision processes in a fuzzy environment: deterministic, stochastic and fuzzy systems. In this article, we consider an optimization problem with an optimistic criterion on a fuzzy system. By making use of minimization–maximization expectation in a fuzzy environment, we derive a recursive equation for the fuzzy decision process through invariant imbedding approach. By illustrating a three-state, two-decision and two-stage model, we give an optimal solution through dynamic programming. The optimal solution is also verified by the method of multistage fuzzy decision tree-table.  相似文献

In this paper, we introduce fuzzy mathematical programming (FMP) for decision-making related to software creation by selecting optimal commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) products in a modular software system. Each module in such software systems have different alternatives with variations in their properties, for example, quality, reliability, execution time, size and cost. Due to these variations, component-based software developers generally deals with the problem of selecting appropriate COTS products. The development of COTS-based systems largely depends on the success of the selection process. Various crisp optimization models of COTS products selection have been proposed in literature. However, in real COTS products selection problem, it is difficult to estimate precisely the values of various model parameters due to lack of sufficient data and also because of measurement errors. Hence, instead of crisp optimization model, if we use flexible optimization model then we might obtain results which are more preferred by the decision maker. In this study, we use multiple methodologies such as quality model, analytical hierarchy process and FMP to develop fuzzy multiobjective optimization model of the COTS products selection. To determine a preferred compromise solution for the multiobjective optimization problem, an interactive fuzzy approach is used.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider the problem of finding an inner estimation of the solution set of a fuzzy linear system with a real-valued coefficient matrix and a fuzzy-valued right-hand side vector. The proposed idea is based on the utilization of interval Gaussian elimination procedure to produce an inner estimation of the solutions set. To this end, firstly we apply interval Gaussian elimination procedure to obtain the solution set of a fuzzy linear system and secondly, by limiting it via solving a crisp linear system, we find an inner estimation of the solutions set, such that it satisfies the related fuzzy linear system. Finally, several numerical examples are given to show the efficiency and ability of our method.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with systems of ordinary differential equations with fuzzy parameters. Applying the Zadeh extension principle to the equations, we introduce the notions of fuzzy solutions and of componentwise fuzzy solutions. The fuzzy extension of the solution operator is shown to provide the unique fuzzy solution as well as the maximal componentwise fuzzy solution. A numerical algorithm based on monotonicity properties of membership functions is presented, together with a proof of convergence. In an interplay of interval analysis and possibility theory, these methods allow to process subjective information on the possible fluctuations of parameters in models involving ordinary differential equations. This is demonstrated in two engineering applications: a queueing model for earthwork and a model of oscillations of bell-towers.  相似文献

将模糊数差值B~-A~视为模糊方程X~+A~=B~的解,进而探讨了模糊方程的求解问题,并基于目的规划理论,给出了模糊方程的广义解定义.运用目的规划的单纯型方法,得到了模糊方程广义解的计算公式及模糊方程广义解的若干性质.由模糊方程的广义解引申出了模糊数差值的定义.运用该定义将传统的网络最大流算法推广到模糊环境.结果表明,模糊数差值定义,克服了基于扩展原理意义下的模糊运算所产生的各种问题,解决了这些传统理论方法的拓展问题.  相似文献

给出图对策中平均树解的拓展形式, 证明其是满足分支有效性和分支公平性的唯一解. 针对具有模糊联盟的图对策, 提出了一种模糊分配, 即模糊平均树解. 当模糊联盟图对策为完全图对策时, 模糊平均树解等于模糊Shapley值. 最后, 讨论了模糊平均树解与模糊联盟核心之间的关系, 并进行了实例论证.  相似文献

We consider the problem of the resolution of fuzzy equation systems: A certain number of fuzzy inputs and outputs is given. How can we determine a fuzzy relation which describes the behaviour of the object under consideration? When attributing this problem to fuzzy equations in the classical sense it may happen that a solution does not exist. Therefore we introduce fuzzy tolerances as an extension of the solvability conception. For this problem we get the whole solution set by means of posets. Moreover, we consider the inverse problem: How to determine tolerances to get consistency (i.e. at least one solution) for the arising equation system.  相似文献

This work presents the results of applying an advanced fault detection and isolation technique to centrifugal compressor; this advanced technique uses physics models of the centrifugal compressor with a fuzzy modeling and control solution method. The fuzzy fault detection and isolation has become an issue of primary importance in modern process engineering automation as it provides the prerequisites for the task of fault detection. In this work, we present an application of this approach in fault detection and isolation of surge in compression system. The ability to detect the surge is essential to improve reliability and security of the gas compressor plants. We describe and illustrate an alternative implementation to the compression systems supervision task using the basic principles of fuzzy fault detection and isolation associated with fuzzy modeling approach. In this supervision task, the residual generation is obtained from the real input-output data process and the residual evaluation is based on fuzzy logic method. The results of this application are very encouraging with relatively low levels of false alarms and obtaining a good limitation of surge in natural gas pipeline compressors.  相似文献

In this paper, a well-known network-structured problem called the transportation problem (TP) is considered in an uncertain environment. The transportation costs, supply and demand are represented by trapezoidal intuitionistic fuzzy numbers (TrIFNs) which are the more generalized form of trapezoidal fuzzy numbers involving a degree of acceptance and a degree of rejection. We formulate the intuitionistic fuzzy TP (IFTP) and propose a solution approach to solve the problem. The IFTP is converted into a deterministic linear programming (LP) problem, which is solved using standard LP algorithms. The main contributions of this paper are fivefold: (1) we convert the formulated IFTP into a deterministic classical LP problem based on ordering of TrIFNs using accuracy function; (2) in contrast to most existing approaches, which provide a crisp solution, we propose a new approach that provides an intuitionistic fuzzy optimal solution; (3) in contrast to existing methods that include negative parts in the obtained intuitionistic fuzzy optimal solution and intuitionistic fuzzy optimal cost, we propose a new method that provides non-negative intuitionistic fuzzy optimal solution and optimal cost; (4) we discuss about the advantages of the proposed method over the existing methods for solving IFTPs; (5) we demonstrate the feasibility and richness of the obtained solutions in the context of two application examples.  相似文献

In a recent paper, Ganesan and Veermani [K. Ganesan, P. Veeramani, Fuzzy linear programs with trapezoidal fuzzy numbers, Ann. Oper. Res. 143 (2006) 305–315] considered a kind of linear programming involving symmetric trapezoidal fuzzy numbers without converting them to the crisp linear programming problems and then proved fuzzy analogues of some important theorems of linear programming that lead to a new method for solving fuzzy linear programming (FLP) problems. In this paper, we obtain some another new results for FLP problems. In fact, we show that if an FLP problem has a fuzzy feasible solution, it also has a fuzzy basic feasible solution and if an FLP problem has an optimal fuzzy solution, it has an optimal fuzzy basic solution too. We also prove that in the absence of degeneracy, the method proposed by Ganesan and Veermani stops in a finite number of iterations. Then, we propose a revised kind of their method that is more efficient and robust in practice. Finally, we give a new method to obtain an initial fuzzy basic feasible solution for solving FLP problems.  相似文献

The fuzzy set theory offers a bridge between the symbolic and numerical processing, allowing managing qualitative concepts useful in the decision-making process related to the seismic risk management and, in general, to the disaster risk management. Its use in the seismic risk evaluation is necessary in the cases where the data required to apply a conventional method of assessing risk are not available or are insufficient. One possible solution, considered in this article, is to replace the missing information by expert opinions and to process the resulting qualitative variables and linguistic qualifications instead of numerical values. This process is based on the fuzzy set theory. In order to achieve an effective management, the risk must be defined as the potential physical, economic, social and environmental consequences which occur due to hazards in a given period of time. From this holistic perspective and using the fuzzy set theory, the proposed numerical method calculates a level of the physical risk and level of the aggravating conditions related to social fragility and to the lack of resilience, to determine a total risk level. In the article are included two examples of application of the proposed method and the obtained results are compared with those corresponding to a conventional method of holistic evaluation.  相似文献

In the article, Veeramani and Sumathi [10] presented an interesting algorithm to solve a fully fuzzy linear fractional programming (FFLFP) problem with all parameters as well as decision variables as triangular fuzzy numbers. They transformed the FFLFP problem under consideration into a bi-objective linear programming (LP) problem, which is then converted into two crisp LP problems. In this paper, we show that they have used an inappropriate property for obtaining non-negative fuzzy optimal solution of the same problem which may lead to the erroneous results. Using a numerical example, we show that the optimal fuzzy solution derived from the existing model may not be non-negative. To overcome this shortcoming, a new constraint is added to the existing fuzzy model that ensures the fuzzy optimal solution of the same problem is a non-negative fuzzy number. Finally, the modified solution approach is extended for solving FFLFP problems with trapezoidal fuzzy parameters and illustrated with the help of a numerical example.  相似文献

Fuzzy optimization models are used to derive crisp weights (priority vectors) for the fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (AHP) based multicriteria decision making systems. These optimization models deal with the imprecise judgements of decision makers by formulating the optimization problem as the system of constrained non linear equations. Firstly, a Genetic Algorithm based heuristic solution for this optimization problem is implemented in this paper. It has been found that the crisp weights derived from this solution for fuzzy-AHP system, sometimes lead to less consistent or inconsistent solutions. To deal with this problem, we have proposed a consistency based constraint for the optimization models. A decision maker can set the consistency threshold value and if the solution exists for that threshold value then crisp weights can be derived, otherwise it can be concluded that the fuzzy comparison matrix for AHP is not consistent for the given threshold. Three examples are considered to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method. Results with the proposed constraint based fuzzy optimization model are more consistent than the existing optimization models.  相似文献
