We study the effect of an external magnetic field on annihilation of triplet excitons of aromatic molecules in Langmuir-Blodgett films. Results of investigation into the triplet-triplet energy transfer from a vacuum-deposited anthracene film to the Langmuir-Blodgett rhodamine dye film are presented. It is demonstrated that the observed long-delayed sensitized dye fluorescence is caused by annihilation of migrating triplet excitons. 利用稳态荧光谱和时间分辨荧光技术研究了温度对半花菁Langmuir-Blodgett(LB)多层膜光致荧光特性的影响.半花菁分子在半花菁/花生酸、半花菁/花生酸镉交替及纯半花菁Z-型LB多层膜中均形成了H-聚集体,加热能使聚集体部分离解.由于Z-型膜中没有花生酸或花生酸镉的屏蔽,分子间具有较强的偶极相互作用,加热使聚集体的离解的程度较小.镉离子的加入对半花菁LB多层膜的稳态荧光谱也有一定的影响.  相似文献

We have studied the sensitized phosphorescence spectra of coronene in toluene and its delayed annihilation fluorescence spectra in n-decane at 77 K. We show that as a result of perturbation of electronic states by exchange interactions, intensity redistribution occurs in both the sensitized phosphorescence spectrum and the delayed annihilation fluorescence spectrum. The nonzero probability of the symmetry-forbidden radiative 0–0 transition is explained by the lower symmetry of the bimolecular system compared with the symmetry of the coronene molecule.  相似文献

Pulsed laser desorption of non-volatile organic dye molecules paraterphenyl and tetra-t-butyl-p-quinquephenyl (QUI) was studied using gas phase ultraviolet laser induced fluorescence, following heating of a steel substrate by a pulsed 1.06-μm Nd:YAG laser. The fluorescence signal intensity is linear in concentration up to at least 30 monolayers and shows infrared power threshold behavior, as expected for evaporation, at ∼0.2 J/cm2. Similar signal levels were also observed in air, with 532-nm heating, and using other metallic or dark black surfaces.  相似文献

We studied the annihilation kinetics for triplet excitations in isolated pairs of organic molecules and their delayed fluorescence decay using a new mathematical model for the process. According to this model, the intensity of delayed annihilation fluorescence (DAF) for isolated pairs is directly proportional to the number of pairs in which both molecules are found in the excited triplet state. We show that the decrease in such pairs and the decay of their delayed annihilation fluorescence occur according to an exponential law in the absence of random scatter in the deactivation rate constants for the triplet excitations. The results of an experimental study of the DAF decay kinetics for 1,12-benzoperylene in n-hexane at 77 K, where triplet–triplet annihilation occurs in isolated pairs, confirm the validity of the theoretical conclusions.  相似文献

We study dynamics of the bistable logistic map with delayed feedback, under the influence of white Gaussian noise and periodic modulation applied to the variable. This system may serve as a model to describe population dynamics under finite resources in noisy environment with seasonal fluctuations. While a very small amount of noise has no effect on the global structure of the coexisting attractors in phase space, an intermediate noise totally eliminates one of the attractors. Slow periodic modulation enhances the attractor annihilation.  相似文献

Twisted nematic liquid crystals were uniformly aligned on Phthalocyanine (Pc)-derived Langmuir-Blodgett (LB) films. By scanning tunneling microscopy imaging, it was found that the Pc-LB film has a well-ordered in-plane column-like structure oriented in the dipping direction, based on which the alignment mechanisms are discussed.  相似文献

The dielectric dispersion of vinylidene fluoride-trifluoroethylene copolymer P(VDF/TrFE) (70/30) films obtained by the Langmuir-Blodgett technique was investigated in the low-temperature range from 20 to −100°C. The thickness of the explored films was 40 nm. A glass-transition range from −25 to −40°C was detected; this indicates the presence of an amorphous phase in the LB films.  相似文献

The dynamic permittivity of vinylidene fluoride-trifluoroethylene (70:30) copolymer films is measured over wide ranges of frequencies and temperatures. It is revealed that 15-to 45-nm-thick Langmuir-Blodgett films of the vinylidene fluoride-trifluoroethylene copolymer undergo a Debye-type dielectric relaxation. The relaxation time τ increases as the temperature increases and the ferroelectric phase transition is approached. This effect is interpreted as a result of critical slowing down. The influence of gamma irradiation on the dielectric response of Langmuir-Blodgett films consisting of 10 and 30 monolayers is investigated.  相似文献

Ferric stearate (FeSt) Langmuir-Blodgett (LB) films have been reacted chemically with H2S gas for making iron sulphide within the organic matrix. Films, before and after the reaction with H2S, have been analyzed with the X-ray reflectivity (XRR), atomic force microscopy (AFM) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) studies. After sulphidation, more ‘pinhole’ defects form which changes the film morphology and the number of layers increases due to the rearrangement of the molecules. Formation of less ordered iron sulphide within the stearic acid multilayers after sulphidation increases the interfacial roughness that decreases the reflectivity. XPS analysis shows that polysulphide forms within the microenvironment of the FeSt LB films after reaction with H2S whereas both mono and polysulphide are produced when the reaction occurs with FeSt in bulk.  相似文献

Photoluminescence spectra and decays under pulsed N2 (337 nm) laser excitation were measured for hydrothermally grown bulk and liquid-phase epitaxy (LPE)-grown film ZnO samples within 9-300 K. Temperature dependence of integrated spectra over the exciton and visible spectral regions was evaluated using a model involving standard energy barrier processes. Decay curves measured within a broad time window (10 ns-1 ms) and with extreme signal/background ratio (five orders of magnitude) point to complex decay mechanism in which the exponential and inverse power-law processes can coexist. There is no straightforward interconnection between the observed temperature dependence of integrated visible photoluminescence intensity and its decay shape over the 9-300 K temperature interval.  相似文献

Dielectric dispersion is studied in films made of vinylidene fluoride/trifluoroethylene copolymer [P(VDF/TrFE)], which are obtained by the Langmuir-Blodgett technique in the temperature range from −90 to +132°C. The thickness of the films studied is ∼7 nm. A glass transition is observed in the temperature range from −40 to −50°C; this indicates the presence of an amorphous phase in the ultrathin Langmuir-Blodgett films.  相似文献
