The conformal deformations are contained in two classes of mappings quasiconformal and harmonic mappings. In this paper we consider the intersection of these classes. We show that, every K quasiconformal harmonic mapping between surfaces with boundary is a Lipschitz mapping. This extends some recent results of several authors where the same problem has been considered for plane domains. As an application it is given an explicit Lipschitz constant of normalized isothermal coordinates of a disk-type minimal surface in terms of boundary curve only. It seems that this kind of estimates are new for conformal mappings of the unit disk onto a Jordan domain as well.  相似文献

The concept of a conformal deformation has two natural extensions: quasiconformal and harmonic mappings. Both classes do not preserve the conformal type of the domain, however they cannot change it in an arbitrary way. Doubly connected domains are where one first observes nontrivial conformal invariants. Herbert Gr?tzsch and Johannes C.C.?Nitsche addressed this issue for quasiconformal and harmonic mappings, respectively. Combining these concepts we obtain sharp estimates for quasiconformal harmonic mappings between doubly connected domains. We then apply our results to the Cauchy problem for minimal surfaces, also known as the Bj?rling problem. Specifically, we obtain a sharp estimate of the modulus of a doubly connected minimal surface that evolves from its inner boundary with a given initial slope.  相似文献

We study a hereditary starlikeness property for planar harmonic mappings on a disk and on an annulus. While such a property is a common trait of conformal mappings, it may be absent in harmonic mappings. It turns out that a sufficient condition for a harmonic mapping f to possess this hereditary property is to have a harmonic argument — a striking feature of conformal mappings that does not extend to all harmonic mappings.  相似文献

In this paper, we give an affirmative answer to Sheretov's problem on the uniqueness of harmonic mappings and improve the unique minimal mapping theorem of Reich and Strebel. Meanwhile, we also solve a problem posed by Reich and obtain the uniqueness theorem on related weight functions.

We prove a type of “inner estimate” for quasi-conformal diffeomorphisms, which satisfies a certain estimate concerning their Laplacian. This, in turn, implies that quasiconformal harmonic mappings between smooth domains (with respect to an approximately analytic metric), have bounded partial derivatives; in particular, these mappings are Lipschitz. We discuss harmonic mappings with respect to (a) spherical and Euclidean metrics (which are approximately analytic) (b) the metric induced by a holomorphic quadratic differential.  相似文献

Chen, Gauthier and Hengartner obtained some versions of Landau's theorem for bounded harmonic mappings and Bloch's theorem for harmonic mappings which are quasiregular and for those which are open. Later, Dorff and Nowak improved their estimates concerning Landau's theorem. In this study, we improve these last results by obtaining sharp coefficient estimates for properly normalized harmonic mappings. Furthermore, our estimates allow us to improve Bloch constant for open harmonic mappings.  相似文献

We continue studying the mappings that are close to the harmonic mappings (-quasiharmonic mappings with small). This study originates with the previous articles of the author. The results of the article include a theorem on connection between the notion of -quasiharmonic mapping and the solutions to Beltrami systems, an analog to the arithmetic mean property of harmonic functions for -quasiharmonic mappings, a theorem on stability in the Poisson formula for harmonic mappings in the ball, and a theorem on the local smoothing of -quasiharmonic mappings with small which preserves proximity to the harmonic mappings.  相似文献

The paper is devoted to finding conditions, sufficient for uniform local univalence of sense-preserving mappings, harmonic in the unit disc of the complex plane; the conditions are given in terms of the generalized Schwarzian derivative introduced by R. Hernández and M. J. Martín. The main section contains proofs of the conditions of univalence and uniform local univalence. In the proofs, the methods of the theory of linear-invariant families and generalized Schwarzian derivatives are used. The proved criteria are effective in the case of quasiconformal harmonic mappings; this is confirmed by examples. In the final section, some related methods are applied to harmonic mappings associated with non-parametric minimal surfaces. An estimation of the Gaussian curvature of minimal surfaces is obtained; it is given in the terms of the order of the associated harmonic mapping.

The aim of this paper is to investigate some properties of planar harmonic and biharmonic mappings. First, we use the Schwarz lemma and the improved estimates for the coefficients of planar harmonic mappings to generalize earlier results related to Landau’s constants for harmonic and biharmonic mappings. Second, we obtain a new Landau’s Theorem for a certain class of biharmonic mappings. At the end, we derive a relationship between the images of the linear connectivity of the unit disk \mathbbD{\mathbb{D}} under the planar harmonic mappings f=h+[`(g)]{f=h+\overline{g}} and under their corresponding analytic counterparts F = hg.  相似文献

The main result of this paper is the sharp generalized Schwarz-Pick inequality for euclidean harmonic quasiconformal mappings with convex ranges, which generalizes a result given by Mateljevi?.
