The dedicated remote center of CMS Experiment at the LHC has been founded in JINR (Dubna). The main mission of the center is operational and efficient monitoring of the CMS detector systems, including the measurements of performance parameters during the prompt data analysis, monitoring of data acquisition and quality of data. Flashlamp pumped tunable operation of FA(II) and FB(II) center lasers is reported. Threshold pump energies as low as 400 mJ, output energies of nearly 70 mJ and an efficiency of 0.1% have been achieved. The width of the emission spectrum of initially 70 GHz with a Littrow grating tuner was reduced to 1.5 GHz using a grazing incidence grating configuration. The paper discusses localized electron states in semiconductors near a charged impurity situated in the region of the core of a dislocation forming a deep dislocation zone. The energy spectrum is nondegenerate and constitutes a weakly disorted series of Coulomb levels. The corresponding wave functions are highly anisotropic; their localization radius in the direction perpendicular to the dislocation coincides with the localization radius of the wave function of an electron in the dislocation band. EPR studies at ca. 25 K of a single crystal of α-quartz, which had been X-irradiated at 77 K, have disclosed the presence of a new type of impurity center. This is thought to consist of a substitutional aluminum 3+ ion with electron holes at two neighboring oxygen ions, forming a triplet system. The two primary 27Al hyperfine multiples as well as the half-field spectrum have been observed, and have led to an approximate spin-Hamiltonian. 相似文献

A new paramagnetic center, AfsAg?Si, in silver-diffused α-quartz is described and its spin-Hamiltonian parameters are presented. The center is formulated as a silver atom situated in a c-axis channel, bonded weakly to a normal silicon cation, with four oxygen anions as neighbors. A simple model is proposed for a trapping center in magnetic semiconductors. The model is a hydrogen-like atom immersed in a continuous paramagnetic medium (we confine ourselves to the paramagnetic region of magnetic semiconductors). Morphological center operator has been one important operator constructed from the morphological alternating filters, which could be well used in optical signal analysis applications. Alternating operators which have the similar properties as the alternating filters have been constructed from the center-surround top-hat transform, which have superiority in some optical signal analysis applications. In light of this, the center operator which has some good properties could be also constructed from the center-surround top-hat transform. In this paper, the constructed center operator from the center-surround top-hat transform is given. And the properties of the constructed operator are also analyzed, which indicates that the constructed operator may be also useful operators for some optical signal analysis applications. 相似文献
