We investigate the (small) quantum cohomology ring of the moduli spaces of stable n-pointed curves of genus 0. In particular, we determine an explicit presentation in the case n = 5 and we outline a computational approach to the case n = 6. This research was partially supported by MIUR and GNSAGA of INdAM (Italy).  相似文献

A weighted pointed curve consists of a nodal curve and a sequence of marked smooth points, each assigned a number between zero and one. A subset of the marked points may coincide if the sum of the corresponding weights is no greater than one. We construct moduli spaces for these objects using methods of the log minimal model program, and describe the induced birational morphisms between moduli spaces as the weights are varied. In the genus zero case, we explain the connection to Geometric Invariant Theory quotients of points in the projective line, and to compactifications of moduli spaces studied by Kapranov, Keel, and Losev-Manin.  相似文献

The moduli space parameterizes the isomorphism classes of S-pointed stable real curves of genus zero which are invariant under relabeling by the involution σ. This moduli space is stratified according to the degeneration types of σ-invariant curves. The degeneration types of σ-invariant curves are encoded by their dual trees with additional decorations. We construct a combinatorial graph complex generated by the fundamental classes of strata of . We show that the homology of is isomorphic to the homology of our graph complex. We also give a presentation of the fundamental group of .   相似文献

We study the algebro-geometric aspects of Teichmüller curves parameterizing square-tiled surfaces with two applications.(a) There exist infinitely many rigid curves on the moduli space of hyperelliptic curves. They span the same extremal ray of the cone of moving curves. Their union is a Zariski dense subset. Hence they yield infinitely many rigid curves with the same properties on the moduli space of stable n-pointed rational curves for even n.(b) The limit of slopes of Teichmüller curves and the sum of Lyapunov exponents for the Teichmüller geodesic flow determine each other, which yields information about the cone of effective divisors on the moduli space of curves.  相似文献

Let X be a smooth projective curve of genus g ≥ 2 over the complex numbers. A holomorphic triple on X consists of two holomorphic vector bundles E 1 and E 2 over X and a holomorphic map . There is a concept of stability for triples which depends on a real parameter σ. In this paper, we determine the Hodge polynomials of the moduli spaces of σ-stable triples with rk(E 1) = 3, rk(E 2) = 1, using the theory of mixed Hodge structures. This gives in particular the Poincaré polynomials of these moduli spaces. As a byproduct, we recover the Hodge polynomial of the moduli space of odd degree rank 3 stable vector bundles.   相似文献

Let , the moduli space of -pointed stable genus zero curves, and let be the quotient of by the action of on the last marked points. The cones of effective divisors , , are calculated. Using this, upper bounds for the cones generated by divisors with moving linear systems are calculated, , along with the induced bounds on the cones of ample divisors of and . As an application, the cone is analyzed in detail.

Motivated by several recent results on the geometry of the modulispaces of stable curves of genus g with n marked points, we determine the birational structureof these spaces for small values of g and n by exploiting suitableplane models of a general curve. More precisely, g,n is shownto be rational for g = 2 and 1 n 12, g = 3 and 1 n 14, g= 4 and 1 n 15, and g = 5 and 1 n 12  相似文献

We determine the necessary and sufficient conditions for the based SU(l)-instanton moduli spaces over CP2 and the unbased SU(2)-instanton moduli spaces over S4 having spin structures.  相似文献

We study the Cox ring of the moduli space of stable pointed rational curves, ${\overline{M}_{0,n}}$ , via the closely related permutohedral (or Losev-Manin) spaces ${\overline{L}_{n-2}}$ . Our main result establishes $\left(\begin{array}{ll} n \\ 2 \end{array}\right)$ polynomial subrings of ${{\rm Cox}(\overline{M}_{0,n})}$ , thus giving collections of boundary variables that intersect the ideal of relations of ${{\rm Cox}(\overline{M}_{0,n})}$ trivially. As applications, we give a combinatorial way to partially solve the Riemann-Roch problem for ${\overline{M}_{0,n}}$ , and we show that all relations in degrees of ${{\rm Cox}(\overline{M}_{0,6})}$ arising from certain pull-backs from projective spaces are generated by the Plücker relations.  相似文献

We determine the action of the product of symmetric groups on the cohomology of certain moduli of weighted pointed rational curves. The moduli spaces that we study are of stable rational curves with m + n marked points where the first m marked points are distinct from all the others where as the last n may coincide among themselves. We give a recipe for calculating the equivariant Poincaré polynomials and list them for small m and n.  相似文献

We give a recursive algorithm for computing the character of the cohomology of the moduli space ${\overline{M}}_{0,n}$ of stable $n$ -pointed genus zero curves as a representation of the symmetric group $\mathbb{S }_n$ on $n$ letters. Using the algorithm we can show a formula for the maximum length of this character. Our main tool is connected to the moduli spaces of weighted stable curves introduced by Hassett.  相似文献

We determine the Kodaira dimension of the moduli space Sg of even spin curves for all g. Precisely, we show that Sg is of general type for g>8 and has negative Kodaira dimension for g<8.  相似文献

We characterize the compactness of differences of weighted composition operators from the weighted Bergman space , 0 < p < ∞, α > −1, to the weighted-type space of analytic functions on the open unit disk D in terms of inducing symbols and . For the case 1 < p < ∞ we find an asymptotically equivalent expression to the essential norm of these operators.  相似文献

Let X be a non-singular complex projective curve of genus ≥3. Choose a point xX. Let Mx be the moduli space of stable bundles of rank 2 with determinant We prove that the Chow group CHQ1(Mx) of 1-cycles on Mx with rational coefficients is isomorphic to CHQ0(X). By studying the rational curves on Mx, it is not difficult to see that there exits a natural homomorphism CH0(J)→CH1(Mx) where J denotes the Jacobian of X. The crucial point is to show that this homomorphism induces a homomorphism CH0(X)→CH1(Mx), namely, to go from the infinite dimensional object CH0(J) to the finite dimensional object CH0(X). This is proved by relating the degeneration of Hecke curves on Mx to the second term I*2 of Bloch's filtration on CH0(J). Insong Choe was supported by KOSEF (R01-2003-000-11634-0).  相似文献
