Summary Organometallic compounds of general formula (SCN)2M(NCSeHgR)2 (M=CoII, NiII, R=n-C5H11,i-C5H11) have been prepared. They behave as Lewis acids, forming complexes with pyridine and 2,2-bipyridyl, characterized by elemental analysis, molecular weight, molar conductance, i.r. spectral (4000–200 cm–1), electronic spectral and magnetic susceptibility measurements. The Lewis acids are monomeric with bridging thiocyanate, or selenocyanate between M2+ and Hg2+. Cobalt and nickel acquire tetrahedral and octahedral configurations respectively through axial bridging, whereas mercury retains its linearity. Pyridine links to the metal in the Lewis acid and forms L2(SCN)2M(NCSeHgR)2 complexes. Bipyridyl ruptures the NCX bridge and forms cationic-anionic [M(bipy)3][(NCS)(NCSe)HgR]2 complexes.  相似文献

Several prior experimental and theoretical studies have been reported on Al3N and have shown that the D 3h isomer is the global minimum. In this work, we attempt to theoretically design new molecular materials containing the D 3h Al3N as unit. A novel series of metal complexes with the Al3N ligand, including [(Al3N)K(Al3N)]+ (traditional homo-decked sandwich), [(Al3N)ZnZn(Al3N)]2+ (binuclear metallocene), and [(Al3N)Zn(C5H5)]+ (hetero-decked sandwich), are predicted to be local minima on their corresponding potential hyper surfaces at the B3LYP, B3PW91, and BP86 levels of theory with the 6?C311+G(d) basis set. Natural bond orbital and AOMix analyses indicate that the interaction between the metal ions and the Al3N ligands is mostly electrostatic. This fact suggests that the Al3N is a promising ligand for coordination chemistry.  相似文献

[Structure: see text] A novel P,N-type ligand family (ClickPhine) is disclosed that is easily accessible using the Cu(I)-catalyzed azide-alkyne "click" cycloaddition. A diverse set of ligands was made in just three steps from readily available starting materials to give several homogeneous and a heterogeneous catalyst. Preliminary experiments show the efficacy of these ligands in the Pd-catalyzed allylic alkylation reaction.  相似文献

A series of zirconium and hafnium heteroscorpionate complexes have been prepared by the reaction of MCl4 (M = Zr, Hf) with the compounds [[Li(bdmpza)(H2O)](4)] [bdmpza = bis(3,5-dimethylpyrazol-1-yl)acetate], [[Li(bdmpzdta)(H2O)](4)] [bdmpzdta = bis(3,5-dimethylpyrazol-1-yl)dithioacetate], and (Hbdmpze) [bdmpze = 2,2-bis(3,5-dimethylpyrazol-1-yl)ethoxide] (the latter with the prior addition of Bu(n)Li). Under the appropriate experimental conditions, mononuclear complexes, namely, [MCl3(kappa3-bdmpzx)] [x = a, M = Zr (1), Hf (2); x = dta, M = Zr (3), Hf (4); x = e, M = Zr (5), Hf (6)], and dinuclear complexes, namely, [[MCl2(mu-OH)(kappa3-bdmpzx)]2] [x = a, M = Zr (7), Hf (8); x = dta, M = Zr (9); x = e, M = Zr (10)], were isolated. A family of alkoxide-containing complexes of the general formula [ZrCl2(kappa3-bdmpzx)(OR)] [x = a, R = Me (11), Et (12), iPr (13), tBu (14); x = dta, R = Me (15), Et (16), iPr (17), tBu (18); x = e, R = Me (19), Et (20), (i)Pr (21), (t)Bu (22)] was also prepared. Complexes 11-14 underwent an interesting hydrolysis process to give the cluster complex [Zr6(mu3-OH)8(OH)8(kappa2-bdmpza)8] (23). The structures of these complexes have been determined by spectroscopic methods, and the X-ray crystal structures of 7, 8, and 23 were also established.  相似文献

Reduction of [P 2N 2]ZrCl 2 (where P 2N 2 = PhP(CH 2SiMe 2NSiMe 2CH 2) 2PPh) by KC 8 under N 2 generates the dinuclear dinitrogen complex ([P 2N 2]Zr) 2(mu-eta (2):eta (2)-N 2) and impurities in varying yields depending on the solvent and temperature. The toluene complex [P 2N 2]Zr(eta (6)-C 7H 8) along with a dinuclear species with bridging PC 6H 5 groups is observable. Also observable in the crude reaction mixtures is the mu-oxodiazenido derivative, ([P 2N 2]Zr) 2(mu-eta (2):eta (2)-N 2H 2)(mu-O), due to reaction with trace H 2O. This paper reports the full details of the preparation of ([P 2N 2]Zr) 2(mu-eta (2):eta (2)-N 2) including an improved method that involves reduction at low temperatures in a tetrahydrofuran solvent. Also reported is a reproducible synthesis of the oxodiazenido complex along with the X-ray structures of the dinitrogen complex and the oxodiazenido derivative.  相似文献

Silanediols are introduced as a new class of hydrogen bond donor catalysts for the activation of nitroalkenes toward nucleophilic attack. Excellent yields of product are obtained for the conjugate addition of indole to β-nitrostyrene catalyzed with a stable, storable dinaphthyl-derived silanediol. The preparation and structural characterization of a C(2)-symmetric chiral silanediol is also reported along with its ability to catalyze the conjugate addition reaction.  相似文献

A novel thermochromic organic compound, 1,5-bis(hydroxyethylamino)-2,4-dinitrobenzene (BDB), was synthesized and characterized using X-ray diffraction, differential scanning calorimetry, visible and infrared spectroscopy. It was observed that BDB exists in two different crystal structures of A- and B-forms at room temperature. In each crystal structure, there exist intra- and intermolecular hydrogen bonds between hydroxy, amino, and nitro groups. As the temperature is increased, the color of BDB crystalline powder changes from yellow to orange. The yellow color was recovered for a specific period of time when it is cooled again, indicating that thermochromism of BDB in the solid state is reversible. Both crystals of A- and B-forms are transformed to the C-form crystal at the transition temperature. From the results of X-ray diffraction, thermal data, and infrared spectra, it is suggested that the thermochromism of BDB originates from the crystal-to-crystal transition accompanying with the configurational transformation between nitro-form and acid-form via intramolecular hydrogen transfer.  相似文献

A new class of [CCC] X(3)-donor pincer ligand for transition metals has been constructed via cyclometalation of a 2,6-di-p-tolylphenyl ([Ar(Tol(2))]) derivative. Specifically, addition of PMe(3) to [Ar(Tol(2))]TaMe(3)Cl induces elimination of methane and formation of the pincer complex, [κ(3)-Ar(Tol'(2))]Ta(PMe(3))(2)MeCl (Tol' = C(6)H(3)Me), which may also be obtained by treatment of Ta(PMe(3))(2)Me(3)Cl(2) with [Ar(Tol(2))]Li. Solutions of [κ(3)-Ar(Tol'(2))]Ta(PMe(3))(2)MeCl undergo ligand redistribution with the formation of [κ(3)-Ar(Tol'(2))]Ta(PMe(3))(2)Me(2)and [κ(3)-Ar(Tol'(2))]Ta(PMe(3))(2)Cl(2), which may also be synthesized by the reactions of [κ(3)-Ar(Tol'(2))]Ta(PMe(3))(2)MeCl with MeMgBr and ZnCl(2), respectively. Reduction of [κ(3)-Ar(Tol'(2))]Ta(PMe(3))(2)Cl(2) with KC(8) in benzene gives the benzene complex [κ(3)-Ar(Tol'(2))]Ta(PMe(3))(2)(η(6)-C(6)H(6)) that is better described as a 1,4-cyclohexadienediyl derivative. Deuterium labeling employing Ta(PMe(3))(2)(CD(3))(3)Cl(2) demonstrates that the pincer ligand is created by a pair of Ar-H/Ta-Me sigma-bond metathesis transformations, rather than by a mechanism that involves α-H abstraction by a tantalum methyl ligand.  相似文献

A tridentate ligand, BPIEP: 2,6‐bis[1‐(2,6‐diisopropyl phenylimino) ethyl] pyridine, having central pyridine unit and two peripheral imine coordination sites was effectively employed in controlled/“living” radical polymerization of MMA at 90°C in toluene as solvent, CuIBr as catalyst, and ethyl‐2‐bromoisobutyrate (EBiB) as initiator resulting in well‐defined polymers with polydispersities Mw/Mn ≤ 1.23. The rate of polymerization follows first‐order kinetics, kapp = 3.4 × 10?5 s?1, indicating the presence of low radical concentration ([P*] ≤ 10?8) throughout the reaction. The polymerization rate attains a maximum at a ligand‐to‐metal ratio of 2:1 in toluene at 90°C. The solvent concentration (v/v, with respect to monomer) has a significant effect on the polymerization kinetics. The polymerization is faster in polar solvents like, diphenylether, and anisole, as compared to toluene. Increasing the monomer concentration in toluene resulted in a better control of polymerization. The molecular weights (Mn,SEC) increased linearly with conversion and were found to be higher than predicted molecular (Mn,Cal). However, the polydispersity remained narrow, i.e., ≤1.23. The initiator efficiency at lower monomer concentration approaches a value of 0.7 in 110 min as compared to 0.5 in 330 min at higher monomer concentration. The aging of the copper salt complexed with BPIEP had a beneficial effect and resulted in polymers with narrow polydispersitities and higher conversion. PMMA obtained at room temperature in toluene (33%, v/v) gave PDI of 1.22 (Mn = 8500) in 48 h whereas, at 50°C the PDI is 1.18 (Mn = 10,300), which is achieved in 23 h. The plot of lnkapp versus 1/T gave an apparent activation energy of polymerization as (ΔEapp) 58.29 KJ/mol and enthalpy of equilibrium (ΔH0eq) to 28.8 KJ/mol. Reverse ATRP of MMA was successfully performed using AIBN in bulk as well as solution. The controlled nature of the polymerization reaction was established through kinetic studies and chain extension experiments. © 2005 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Biarylpyrimidines bearing omega-aminoalkyl substituents have been designed as ligands for high-order DNA structures: spectrophotometric, thermal and competition equilibrium dialysis assays showed that changing the functional group for substituent attachment from thioether to amide switches the structural binding preference from triplex to tetraplex DNA; the novel ligands are non-toxic and moderate inhibitors of human telomerase.  相似文献

Anilines with alkyl substituents on the phenyl ring (ArNH2 = 2,4,6-trimethylaniline; 2,3-, 2,4-, 2,6-, and 3,4-dimethylaniline; and 2,6-diisopropylaniline) react with MoO(X)2(dtc)2 (X = Cl or Br; dtc = diethyldithiocarbamate) in methanol in the presence of 2 equiv of triethylamine to form ionic imido complexes of the type [MoNAr(dtc)3]2[Mo6O19] or MoNAr(dtc)3]4[Mo8O26]. The same reaction in THF with butyllithium as base yields imido complexes of the type MoNAr(X)2(dtc)2. The structures of three ionic, five chloro, and two bromo complexes have been determined by X-ray crystallography. In all complexes, the molybenum center is a distorted pentagonal bipyramid. While the structures are similar, the angles of the imido linkages differ. The effect of the substituents on the phenyl ring of the imido ligand on the 95Mo NMR chemical shifts was determined. The Mo nucleus becomes more deshielded with the substituents in the following order: 3,4-Me2 < 2,3-Me2 < 2,4-Me2 < 2,6-Me2 < 2,4,6-Me3 < 2,6 isopropyl. Complexes with more deshielded 95Mo centers tend to have angles of the imido linkage that are closer to 180 degrees.  相似文献

Monooxo Mo(V) complexes of a N2O heteroscorpionate ligand designated (L10O) are found to exist as isolable cis and trans isomers. We have been able to trap the kinetically labile cis isomer and follow its isomerization to the thermodynamically more stable trans form. We have also followed the kinetics of isomerization between the cis and trans isomers of the corresponding dioxo Mo(VI) and W(VI) species. Here the trans is the labile isomer that spontaneously converts to the thermodynamically more stable cis. It is observed that at 60 degrees C in DMSO the Mo(VI) complex isomerizes approximately 6.5 times faster than the Mo(V) and nearly 5 times faster than the corresponding W(VI) analogs. The temperature dependence to the kinetics of the Mo(V) and Mo(VI) isomerizations give activation parameters that are similar for both oxidation states and consistent with those previously observed in [(L1O)MoOCl2] suggesting a similar twist mechanism is operating in all cases. Thus there are oxidation state, metal ion and donor atom dependent differences in isomeric stability that could have significant implications for understanding the mechanisms of both enzymatic and nonenzymatic oxo atom transfer reactions catalyzed by complexes of Mo, W and Re.  相似文献

Summary A method for the solvent extraction of mg quantities of zirconium(IV) and hafnium(IV) from 3-molar perchloric acid with 3-thianaphthenoyltrifluoroacetone is described. The effects due to acidity, choice of acid, time, heating, solvents and reagent concentration are reported.

Group 4 metal complexes [M(eta(5)-C(5)Me(4)SiMe(2)-eta(1)-N-2R)(NMe(2))(2)] (R = pyridine, pyrazine, pyrimidine, thiazole, M = Ti; R = pyridine, thiazole; M = Zr) containing the tetramethylcyclopentadienyl-dialkylsilyl bridged amidinato as pendant ligand, were synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, solution (1)H, (13)C and (15)N NMR spectroscopy and experimental (13)C and (15)N CPMAS in the solid state. The crystal structures of [Ti(eta(5)-C(5)Me(4)SiMe(2)-eta(1)-N-2R)(NMe(2))(2)] (R = pyridine, pyrazine, pyrimidine, thiazole) were determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction studies. All compounds exhibit a distorted tetrahedral geometry, with the ansa-monocyclopentadienyl-amido ligands acting in a bidentate mode. The [M(eta(5)-C(5)Me(4)SiMe(2)-eta(1)-N-2R)(NMe(2))(2)] (R = pyridine, thiazole; M = Zr, Ti) complexes are ethylene polymerization catalysts in the presence of MAO and they are active precursors in regioselective catalytic hydroamination operating with an anti-Markovnikov mechanism.  相似文献
