In this paper, the scattering of harmonic anti-plane shear waves by a finite crack in infinitely long strip is studied using the non-local theory. The Fourier transform is applied and a mixed boundary value problem is formulated. Then a set of dual integral equations is solved using the Schmidt method instead of the first or the second integral equation method. A one-dimensional non-local kernel is used instead of a two-dimensional one for the anti-plane dynamic problem to obtain the stress occurring at the crack tips. Contraty to the classical elasticity solution, it is found that no stress singularity is present at the crack tip. The non-local dynamic elastic solutions yield a finite hoop stress at the crack tip, thus allowing for a fracture criterion based on the maximum dynamic stress hypothesis. The finite hoop stress at the crack tip depends on the crack length, the width of the strip and the lattice parameter. We analyze a gasdynamical process in the stellar atmosphere that is driven by a piston moving with constant velocity in a weak gravitational field. Ahead of the piston, the gas is compressed, and this compressed gas uses part of its internal energy and somewhere its kinetic energy to overcome the applied gravity.If we expand the quantities as a series of a small parameter, which is the ratio of a typical escape velocity to the plasma velocity, the basic state gives a uniform flow, as shown by the case of gasdynamical theory without gravity. The first-order relationships show the influence of the applied gravity on the flow fields, that is, the strength of the shock wave changes slightly, the internal energy of the gas exhausts. For the cases of strong shock wave and near the piston, an analytical solution may be approximately obtained and has the similar features.Because of the importance of the applied gravity in the astrophysical and atmospheric physical processes, these results may shed light on the mechanics of transient process in the stellar and planetary atmosphere.  相似文献

A theory of elasticity for the bending of transversely isotropic plates has been developed from the basic equations of elasticity in terms of displacements for transversely isotropic bodies, which takes into account the loads distributed over the surfaces of the plates. Based on this theory, a refined theory of plates which can satisfy three boundary conditions along each edge of the plates and a new theory of thick plates are established. The solution of the refined theory for simply supported polygonal plates has been obtained; and its numerical result is very close to the exact solution of the three-dimensional theory of elasticity. A systematic comparison with the former theories of thick plates shows that the present theory of thick plates is closest to the result of the theory of elasticity.  相似文献

Two efficient recursive algorithms epsilon-algorithm and eta-algorithm are introduced to compute the generalized inverse function-valued Padé approximants. The approximants were used to accelerate the convergence of the power series with function-valued coefficients and to estimate characteristic value of the integral equations. Famous Wynn identities of the Padé approximants is also established by means of the connection of two algorithms. In this paper, a method (PFMC) for solving plane problem of linear creep is presented by using perturbation finite element. It can be used in plane problem in consideration of creep, such as reinforced concrete beam, presiressed concrete beam, reinforced concrete cylinder and reinforced concrete tunnel in elastic or visco-elastic medium, as well as underground building and so on.In the presented method, the assumption made in the general increment method that variables remain constant in a divided time interval is not taken. The accuracy is improved and the length of time step becomes larger. The computer storage can be reduced and the calculating efficiency can be increased.Perturbation finite element formulae for four-node quadrilateral isoparametric element including reinforcement are established and five numerical examples are given. As contrasted with the analytical solution, the accuracy is satisfactory.  相似文献

假设纤维方向角沿层合板的长度方向线性变化,研究了变角度纤维复合材料层合斜板的颤振.通过坐标变换将斜板变换为正方形板,采用层合板表面连续变化的速度环量来模拟空气对其的作用,速度环量分布利用Cauchy积分公式计算.建立了系统的Lagrange方程并采用Ritz法得到了层合板的自振频率和颤振/不稳定性分离临界速度.通过数值算例验证了本文模型和方法的正确性和收敛性,分析了各个铺层内纤维方向角的变化对自振频率和颤振/不稳定性分离临界速度的影响.研究结果表明,通过纤维的变角度铺设,可有效地提高层合板的基频和颤振/不稳定性分离临界速度.经合理设计的变角度复合材料层合板具有抑制颤振的作用.  相似文献

To solve Fredholm integral equations of the second kind, a generalized linear functional is introduced and a new function-valued Pade-type approximation is denned. By means of the power series expansion of the solution, this method can construct an approximate solution to solve the given integral equation. On the basis of the orthogonal polynomials, two useful determinant expressions of the numerator polynomial and the denominator polynomial for Pade-type approximation are explicitly given.  相似文献

Closed form solution of quadruple integral equations involving inverse Mellin transforms has been obtained. The solution of quadruple integral equations is used in solving a two dimensional four-part mixed boundary value contact problem for an elastic wedge-shaped region as an application. The scattering problem of elastic wave by arbitrarily shaped cavities in an infinite anisotropic medium is investigated by the boundary integral equation (BIE) method. The formulations of BIE are derived with the help of generalized Green's formula. The discretization of BIE is based upon constant elements. After confirmation of the accuracy of the present method, some numerical examples are given for various cavities in a full space, in which an isotropic body with a circular cylinder hole is used for comparison and good agreement is observed. This paper presents finite element analysis of non-Newtonian fluid flow in 2-d branching channel. The Galerkin method and mixed finite element method are used. Here the fluid is considered as incompressible, non-Newtonian fluid with Oldyord differential-type constitutive equation. The non-linear algebraic equation system which is formulated with finite element method is solved by means of continuous differential method. The results show that finite element method is suitable for the analysis of non-Newtonian fluid flow with complex geometry.  相似文献

The general bending problem of conical shells on the elastic foundation (Winkler Medium) is not solved. In this paper, the displacement solution method for this problem is presented. From the governing differential equations in displacement form of conical shell and by introducing a displacement function U(s,θ), the differential equations are changed into an eight-order soluble partial differential equation about the displacement function U(s,θ) in which the coefficients are variable. At the same time, the expressions of the displacement and internal force components of the shell are also given by the displacement function U(s θ). As special cases of this paper, the displacement function introduced by V.S. Vlasov in circular cylindrical shell[5], the basic equation of the cylindrical shell on the elastic foundation and that of the circular plates on the elastic foundation are directly derived.Under the arbitrary loads and boundary conditions, the general bending problem of the conical shell on the elastic foundation is reduced to find the displacement function U(s,θ).The general solution of the eight-order differential equation is obtained in series form. For the symmetric bending deformation of the conical shell on the elastic foundation, which has been widely usedinpractice,the detailed numerical results and boundary influence coefficients for edge loads have been obtained. These results have important meaning in analysis of conical shell combination construction on the elastic foundation,and provide a valuable judgement for the numerical solution accuracy of some of the same type of the existing problem.  相似文献

After the stress function and the normal derivative on the boundary for the plane problem of exterior circular domain are expanded into Laurent series, comparing them with the Laurent series of the complex stress function and making use of some formulas in Fourier series and the convolutions, the boundary integral formula of the stress function is derived further. Then the stress function can be obtained directly by the integration of the stress function and its normal derivative on the boundary. Some examples are given. It shows that the boundary integral formula of the stress function is convenient to be used for solving the elastic plane problem of exterior circular domain.  相似文献
