In photoreactions of arenes with olefins the mode of reaction strongly depends on the charge transfer between the starting materials. Substitution is preferred if the electron transfer becomes exergonic, i.e. if ΔG < O according to the Rehm-Weller equation. In some special systems substitution is avoided by electron transfer-triplet formation. Various photoreactions which already have been described in the literature are dicussed in view of this ΔG-correlation besides own experimental results.  相似文献

Reported herein is an example of highly regio‐, diastereo‐ and enantioselective Cu(I)‐catalyzed intermolecular [3+2] cycloaddition reaction of α‐substituted iminoesters with α‐trifluoromethyl α,β‐unsaturated esters. This novel strategy provided a facile access to pyrrolidines with two skipped (aza)quaternary stereocenters including a CF3 all‐carbon quaternary stereocenter. A broad substrate scope was observed and high yields (up to 94%) with excellent diastereoselectivity (up to >20 : 1 d.r.) and enantioselectivity (up to 98% ee) were obtained.  相似文献

Dibromoketene is prepared by in-situ Zn dehalogenation of tribromoacetyl bromide in the presence of POCl3. Under these conditions, the cycloaddition of dibromoketene with olefins 5 yields α,α-dibromocyclobutanones 2 , which are cleaved with alkoxides to yield β-dibromomethyl esters 4 . Several examples are given. For monosubstituted olefins, the functionalization is regioselective, the methoxycarbonyl group being introduced at the terminal C-atom.  相似文献

The reaction of Cα,O-Dilithiooximes 2 and α-chloroketones afforded 5-(hydroxymethyl)-Δ2-soxazolines 4 . α,β-Unsaturated aldehydes and ketones reacted with 2 to give the corresponding acyclic 1,2-addition products 5 . Demetallation rates of α,β,γ,δ-tetrakis(p-sulfophenyl)porphiniron(III) in hydrochloric acid–ethanol–water, perchloric acid–ethanol–water, and sulfuric acid–alcohol–water media were determined. For a given acidity value H0 the order of the rates for the three acids was HCl > H2SO4 > HClO4. This is also the order for complex formation between acid anion and iron(III). Consequently ligands as well as protons are involved in the breaking of bonds between the metal and the porphyrin leading to the formation of the activated complex. The log k values for HCl and HClO4 media were not linearly related to the Hammett acidity function as they were for sulfuric acid–ethanol–water media. The average ΔH? and ΔS?values for the HCl media were 18.4 ± 1.4 kcal/mol and ? 19 ± 3 cal K mol, respectively, in very close agreement with those for H2SO4 media despite the difference in H 0 dependence. For H2SO4–alcohol–water media the order of the rates was butanol > propanol > ethanol with little difference between isomeric alcohols.  相似文献

By heating with iron powder at 120–150° some γ-bromo-α, β-unsaturated carboxylic methyl esters, and, less smothly, the corresponding acids, were lactonized to Δ7alpha;-butenolides with elimination of methyl bromide. The following conversions have thus been made: methyl γ-bromocrotonate ( 1c ) and the corresponding acid ( 1d ) to Δα-butenolide ( 8a ), methyl γ-bromotiglate ( 3c ) and the corresponding acid ( 3d ) to α-methyl-Δα-butenolide ( 8b ), a mixture of methyl trans- and cis-γ-bromosenecioate ( 7c and 7e ) and a mixture of the corresponding acids ( 7d and 7f ) to β-methyl-Δα-butenolide ( 8c ). The procedure did not work with methyl trans-γ-bromo-Δα-pentenoate ( 5c ) nor with its acid ( 5d ). Most of the γ-bromo-α, β-unsaturated carboxylic esters ( 1c, 7c, 7e and 5c ) are available by direct N-bromosuccinimide bromination of the α, β-unsaturated esters 1a, 7a and 5a ; methyl γ-bromotiglate ( 3c ) is obtained from both methyl tiglate ( 3a ) and methyl angelate ( 4a ), but has to be separated from a structural isomer. The γ-bromo-α, β-unsaturated esters are shown by NMR. to have the indicated configurations which are independent of the configuration of the α, β-unsaturated esters used; the bromination always leads to the more stable configuration, usually the one with the bromine-carrying carbon anti to the carboxylic ester group; an exception is methyl γ-bromo-senecioate, for which the two isomers (cis, 7e , and trans, 7d ) have about the same stability. The N-bromosuccinimide bromination of the α,β-unsaturated carboxylic acids 1b , 3b , 4b , 5b and 7b is shown to give results entirely analogous to those with the corresponding esters. In this way γ-bromocrotonic acid ( 1 d ), γ-bromotiglic acid ( 3 d ), trans- and cis-γ-bromosenecioic acid ( 7d and 7f ) as well as trans-γ-bromo-Δα-pentenoic acid ( 5d ) have been prepared. Iron powder seems to catalyze the lactonization by facilitating both the elimination of methyl bromide (or, less smoothly, hydrogen bromide) and the rotation about the double bond. α-Methyl-Δα-butenolide ( 8b ) was converted to 1-benzyl-( 9a ), 1-cyclohexyl-( 9b ), and 1-(4′-picoly1)-3-methyl-Δα-pyrrolin-2-one ( 9 c ) by heating at 180° with benzylamine, cyclohexylamine, and 4-picolylamine. The butenolide 8b showed cytostatic and even cytocidal activity; in preliminary tests, no carcinogenicity was observed. Both 8b and 9c exhibited little toxicity.  相似文献

Thermolysis of the “all-cis” compound 1α-chloro-2α,3α-dimethylcyclopropane (A) at 550–607 K and 6–115 torr is a first-order homogeneous non-radical-chain process giving penta-1,3-diene (PD) and HCl as products. The Arrhenius parameters are log10A(sec?1) = 13.92 ± 0.08 and E = 199.6 ± 0.9 kJ/mol. The isomer with trans-methyl groups, 1α-chloro-2α,3β-dimethylcyclopropane (B) reacts by two parallel first-order processes giving as observed products trans-4-chloropent-2-ene (4CP) and PD + HCl, with log10A(sec?1) = 14.6 and 13.8, respectively, and E = 199.5 and 190.2 kJ/mol, respectively. The 4CP undergoes secondary decomposition to PD + HCl (as investigated previously). Comparison of the results for compounds (A) and (B) with those for other gas-phase and solution reactions leads to the conclusion that the gas-phase thermolyses proceed by rate-determining ring opening to form olefins which may decompose further by thermal or chemically activated reactions, and that the ring opening is a semiionic electrocyclic reaction in which alkyl groups in the 2,3-positions trans to the migrating chlorine semianion move apart, with appropriate consequences for the rate of reaction and the stereochemistry of the products.  相似文献

In this work, we discussed the stochastic thermodynamics of mesoscopic electron transfer reactions between ions and electrodes. With a relationship between the reaction rate constant and the electrode potential, we find that the heat dissipation βq equals to the dynamic irreversibility of the reaction system minus an internal entropy change term. The total entropy change Δst is defined as the summation of the system entropy change Δs and the heat dissipation βq such that Δsts+βq. Even though the heat dissipation depends linearly on the electrode potential, the total entropy change is found to satisfy the fluctuation theorem < (e)st>=1, and hence a second law-like inequality reads <Δst>≥0. Our study provides a practical methodology for the stochastic thermodynamics of electrochemical reactions, which may find applications in biochemical and electrochemical reaction systems.  相似文献

Cycloadditions of α,β-unsaturated acyl cyanides (=2-oxonitriles) 1 – 6 to styrene and its p-substituted derivatives 7a – f , h are of inverse electron demand and provide, under mild conditions, regio- and stereoselectively 2-aryl-3,4-dihydro-2H-pyran-6-carbonitriles 8 – 13 , generally in good yield. Rates for the cycloaddition of acryloyl cyanide 1 to p-substituted styrenes, determined in competition reactions of substrate pairs relative to that of styrene, increase in the order of electron-donating ability NO2<Cl<H<AcO<Me<AcNH<MeO of the p-substituent. Linear correlation of log (kX/kH), and σp+ substituent constants (a Hammett-type plot), gives a reaction constant ρp+ of −1.47±0.17, supporting a concerted mechanism.  相似文献

The rate of demetallation of α, β, γ,δ-tetra(p-sulfophenyl)porphineiron (III), Fe(TPPS)3-, was determined in sulfuric acid-ethanol-water media for 8.5-10.65M sulfuric acid at different temperatures. The overall reaction was the conversion of the complex Fe(TPPS)3- into the diacid species H4TPPS2- without other spectrophotometrically important species being formed to an appreciable extent, as shown by three isosbestic points at 418, 462, and 563 nm. The rate was first order in the Fe(TPPS)3- concentration. The pseudo-first-order rate constants k were exponentially dependent on the sulfuric acid concentration, and log k was linearly dependent on the Hammett acidity function –H0. The average ΔH? and ΔS? values for five reaction media were 18.4 ± 1.4 kcal/mol and 19 ± 3 cal/°K · mol, respectively. The linear relationship between log k and (-H0) and the approximately constant values of ΔH? ΔS? over the acid range investigated indicated that the same mechanism of demetallation was operative over this acid range. Because of the dependence of the pseudo-first-order rate constants on the acidity of the medium, the mechanism probably involves the addition of protons to pyrrole N atoms to assist in the breaking of iron (III)-nitrogen bonds.  相似文献

The crystal and molecular structure of 3-oxo-17β-acetoxy-Δ4-14α-methyl-8α, 9β, 10α, 13α-estrene, C21H30O3, has been determined by X-ray diffraction analysis. The crystals belong to the orthorhombic space group P212121, with the cell dimensions a = 12.093 Å, b = 19.667 Å, c = 7.746 Å; Z = 4. Intensity data were collected at room temperature with an automatic four-circle diffractometer. The structure was solved by direct methods and the parameters were refined by least-squares analysis. All the hydrogen atoms were included in the refinement. The final R value was 0.038 for 1413 observed reflections. The conformation of ring A is intermediate between a half-chair and a 1, 2-diplanar form. The hydrogens at C(9) and C(10) are anti, the B/C ring junction is trans, and rings B and C adopt chair conformations. Ring D is cis fused and is halfway between C2 and Cs forms.  相似文献

Several reactions of the α,β‐unsaturated thioamide 8 with diazo compounds 1a – 1d were investigated. The reactions with CH2N2 ( 1a ), diazocyclohexane ( 1b ), and phenyldiazomethane ( 1c ) proceeded via a 1,3‐dipolar cycloaddition of the diazo dipole at the C?C bond to give the corresponding 4,5‐dihydro‐1H‐pyrazole‐3‐carbothioamides 12a – 12c , i.e., the regioisomer which arose from the bond formation between the N‐terminus of the diazo compound and the C(α)‐atom of 8 . In the reaction of 1a with 8 , the initially formed cycloadduct, the 4,5‐dihydro‐3H‐pyrazole‐3‐carbothioamide 11a , was obtained after a short reaction time. In the case of 1c , two tautomers 12c and 12c ′ were formed, which, by derivatization with 2‐chlorobenzoyl chloride 14 , led to the crystalline products 15 and 15 ′. Their structures were established by X‐ray crystallography. From the reaction of 8 and ethyl diazoacetate ( 1d ), the opposite regioisomer 13 was formed. The monosubstituted thioamide 16 reacted with 1a to give the unstable 4,5‐dihydro‐1H‐pyrazole‐3‐carbothioamide 17 .  相似文献

The novel diol monomer, α,α,α′,α′-tetramethyl-1,4-tetrafluorobenzenedimethanol, has been synthesized by a convenient route which involves the addition of acetone to 1,4-dilithiotetrafluorobenzene and can be purified by washing with hexanes. It does not directly undergo condensation polymerizations with diacid chlorides. Its disodium salt, prepared by its reaction with sodium hydride, similarly fails to undergo such polymerizations readily. However, the dilithium salt, prepared in situ by the reaction of the title diol with 2 equiv of n-butyllithium in tetrahydrofuran, is suitable for the preparation of various classes of condensation polymers. Four polyesters and one polycarbonate derived from the reactions of the dilithium salt of the diol with adipoly dichloride, sebacoyl dichloride, isophthaloyl dichloride, terephthaloyl dichloride, and phosgene and two polyurethanes derived from its reactions with tolylene-2,4-diisocyanate and methylene-di-1,4-phenyl diisocyanate were prepared. Each was fully characterized by GPC, NMR, IR, and UV-visible spectroscopies, and the results of these studies are reported herein. © 1993 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.  相似文献

The course of the catalytic hydrogenation and isomerization (H2/Raney-Ni/dioxane or H2/Pd/C/EtOH) of Δ5.7-, Δ7-, Δ8-, and Δ8(14)-steroid olefins was shown to depend strongly on the configuration at C(13). The known hydrogenation/isomerization of reactions of Δ5.7-dienes in the 13β-series to Δ7-(H2/Raney-Ni/dioxane) and Δ8(14)-olefins (H2/Pd/C/EtOH) were also confirmed in the 3β, 19-epoxy-13β- and 3-Oxo-19-acetoxy-13β-steroid series (e.g. 32 → 35 → 37 , Scheme 3). On the other hand, in the corresponding 13α-steroid series the same reactions afforded the Δ7-. and the Δ8-olefins (mixture of products with H2/Raney-Ni/dioxane; quantitatively the Δ8-compounds with H2/Pd/C/EtOH; s. e.g. Scheme 3). A similar dependence on the C(13) configuration was observed in the allylic oxidation of these olefins with SeO2 (Fieser's test, see Table), and in the acid catalyzed opening of the 7α, 8α-epoxides (e.g. 60 → 62 + 63 in the 13β-series, and 56 → 64 + 65 in the 13α-series, Scheme 8).  相似文献

The energies of hydrogen-bond formation (−ΔH0HX) between hydroxy derivatives and halide ions in the gas phase obey the following relationship: −ΔH0HX = 0 (ΔPA > 0)+32 e−0.0156&mid;ΔPA&mid;, or −ΔH0HX = −ΔPA (ΔPA < 0) + 32 e−0.0156∣ΔPA∣, where ΔPA is the difference between the heterolytic dissociation energy of the -OH and HX bonds. This relation is discussed as a function of the different factors (electrostatic, repulsion, polarization and charge transfer) contributing to the protonation reaction or hydrogen-bond formation.  相似文献

Phenanthrene derivatives were prepared by reacting an α,α‐dicyanoolefin with different α,β‐unsaturated carbonyl compounds resulting from Wittig reaction of ninhydrin and phosphanylidene or condensation of barbituric acid and an aldehyde. The easy procedure, mild and metal‐catalyst free, reaction conditions, good yields, and no need for chromatographic purifications are important features of this protocol. The structures of the product of type 3 and 5 were corroborated spectroscopically (IR, 1H‐ and 13C‐NMR, and EI‐MS). A plausible mechanism for this type of reaction is proposed (Scheme 1).  相似文献

α,α‐Disubstituted allylic pinacol boronic esters undergo highly selective allylborations of aldehydes to give tetrasubstituted homoallylic alcohols with exceptional levels of antiZ‐selectivity (>20:1). The scope of the reaction includes both acyclic and cyclic allylic boronic esters which lead to acyclic and exocyclic tetrasubstituted homoallylic alcohols. The use of β‐borylated allylic boronic esters gave fully substituted alkenes bearing a boronic ester which underwent further cross‐coupling enabling a highly modular and stereoselective approach to the synthesis of diaryl tetrasubstituted alkenes. Computational analysis revealed the origin of the remarkable selectivity observed.  相似文献

The four α,α,α, β,β,β,-hexamethyl α-hydrogen Coα, Coβ-dicyanocobyrinates 2b, d–f , with a free b-, d-, e-, and f-propionic-acid function, respectively, were prepared by partial hydrolysis of heptamethyl Coα, Coβ-dicyanocobyrinate (cobester; 1 ) in aqueous sulfuric acid. The cobester monoacids 2b, d–f were obtained as a ca. 1:1:1:1 mixture which was separated. The monoacids were purified by chromatography and isolated in crystalline form. The position of the free propionic-acid function was determined by an extensive analysis of 2b, d–f using 2D-NMR techniques; an analysis of the C,H-coupling network topology resulted in an alternative assignment strategy for cobyrinic-acid derivatives, based on pattern recognition. Additional information on the structure of the most polar of the four hexamethyl cobyrinates, of the b-isomer 2b , was also obtained in the solid state from a single-crystal X-ray analysis. Earlier structural assignments based on 1D-NMR spectra of the corresponding regioisomeric monoamides 3b, d–f (obtained from crystalline samples of the monoacids 2b, d–f ) were confirmed by the present investigations.  相似文献

The effect of added nucleophiles (methanol and 1,4-butanediol) on the steady-state kinetics of α-chymotryptic hydrolysis of a series of N-acetyl-L-amino acid methyl esters, R-CH(NHCOCH3)C(O)OCH3, has been studied. As a result, the rate and equilibrium constants of the ‘elementary’ steps of the enzyme process have been determined. It has also been demonstrated how the free energy–reaction coordinate profile changes if the structure (the size of the hydrocarbon chain) of the ‘chemically inert’ substrate fragment R is varied. The effects observed can be described by the following equation: where ΔGs and ΔGa are the free energies of formation of metastable intermediates, i.e., the enzyme–substrate complex and the acylenzyme, respectively, ΔG2≠ and ΔG3≠ are the free energies of activation for the chemical steps, i.e., enzyme acylation and acylenzyme hydrolysis, respectively; and ΔGtrans(R) is the free energy of transfer of substrate group R from water into a nonaqueous solvent. To explain the results obtained, a mechanism for enzyme–substrate interaction is suggested according to which the potential free energy of sorption of substrate group R on the enzyme is 2 ΔGtrans(R). Such a high gain in the free energy of hydrophobic interaction may only be realized if (a) in the free enzyme the sorption region has a thermodynamically unfavorable contact with the aqueous medium, and (b) water is forced out of the active center as a result of the hydrophobic interaction of substrate group R with the enzyme. Such a model is in agreement with the published x-ray data on the structure of the crystalline enzyme. The kinetic experiment has proved that not all the potential free energy of sorption is realized as binding force. Thus the true free energy of the binding of substrate group R with the protein does not exceed half the maximum value, both in the enzyme–substrate complex and acylenzyme.  相似文献
