The retention behavior of four naturally occurring dimethylarsinoylribosides with -CH2-CHOH-CH2X (X = OH, HO3POCH2CHOHCH2OH, SO3H, OSO3H) as aglycones, of arsenous acid, arsenic acid, methylarsonic acid, and dimethylarsinic acid was investigated on a Hamilton PRP-X100 anion-exchange column with aqueous solutions of ammonium dihydrogen phosphate (20 mmol/L) in the pH range of 3.8-9.0 as mobile phase. A HP 4500 inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometer (ICP-MS) served as arsenic-specific detector. The influence of pH, temperature, and the concentration of methanol in the mobile phase on the retention times of these arsenic compounds was explored. An aqueous 20 mM ammonium dihydrogen phosphate solution at pH 5.6 at a column temperature of 40 degrees C was considered optimal as it allowed the separation of seven of the arsenic compounds within 16 min. Only arsenous acid and the ribose with the glycerol aglycone have overlapping signals with both migrating almost with the solvent front. At a concentration of 0.50 ng As mL(-1) the relative standard deviations (n = 3) of the signal areas of the eight arsenic compounds was in the range from 3.5 to 8.1%. The linear calibration curves (peak areas) from 0.5 to 10 ng/mL had correlation coefficients > 0.997. Extracts obtained from the brown algae Fucus spiralis and Halidrys siliquosa were chromatographed under the optimized conditions. Both species contained the sulfate riboside as the major arsenic compound (approximately 55% of total extractable arsenic) together with the sulfonate- and phosphate riboside. Arsenic acid was a significant constituent of Halidrys siliquosa (approximately 6.5%), but was not detected in Fucus spiralis.  相似文献

The equilibria and kinetics of the binding of gallium(III) to 4-(N),10-(N)-bis[2-(3-hydroxo-2-oxo-2-H-pyridine-1-y1)acetamido]-1,7-dimethyl-1,4,7,10-tetraazacyclododecane (L) were investigated in acidic medium at ionic strength 1 M (NaClO4). Spectrophotometric titrations in the UV region revealed that L is able to bind Ga3+ also at high H+ concentration. The kinetic (stopped-flow) experiments are interpreted on the basis of three parallel reaction paths (i) M3+ + H2L2+ = M(H2L)5+ where M(H2L)5+ is in a steady state, (ii) M(OH)2+ + H2L2+ = M(HL)4+ + H2O and (iii) M(OH)2+ + HL+ = ML3+ + H2O. The first-order rate constants for conversion of the outer-sphere into the inner-sphere complexes are similar to those of the Ga(III)/tropolone system which is known to react according to the dissociative Id mechanism and to the relevant rate constants for water exchange at the metal ion. The effects of pH on the UV-Vis absorption, fluorescence emission properties and NMR spectral features on the Ga(III)/L system were also investigated. Spectrophotometric titrations in the UV region reveal that, in acid medium the prevailing species is M(HL)4+ whereas the chelate ML3+ prevails for [H+] < 0.01 M. The results indicate metal coordination at the oxygen atoms of the 3-hydroxo-2-oxopyridine residues.  相似文献

The chromium(III) complex species formed, in acidic and basic solutions at 25.0+/-0.1 degrees C, between Cr(III) and 2,3-dihydroxynaphthalene-6-sulfonic acid (2,3-DHN-6-SA, H(2)L(2-)) and 4,5-dihydroxynaphthalene-2,7-disulfonic acid (4,5-DHN-2,7-DSA, H(2)L(-)) were determined. Over the acidic pH range, the coordination of 2,3-DHN-6-SA and 4,5-DHN-2,7-DSA to Cr(III) in 1 : 1 mole ratio occurs, and CrL and CrL(-) type complexes are formed. At near neutral pH, CrL(OH)(-) and CrL(OH)(2-) type hydroxo complexes are formed. The acid-dissociation constants of ligands and the formation constants of chromium(III) complexes were determined in 0.1 m KNO(3) ionic medium by potentiometric titration using the BEST computer program. Thus, the removing capacities of these ligands could be examined by calculating the equilibrium concentration of Cr(III) that exists in the discharge water of various industries since Cr(III) ions are the main pollutants present during waste water treatment in our city, Bursa.  相似文献

We report herein a detailed assessment of the roles of O2, H2O2, *OH, and O2-* in the TiO2 assisted photocatalytic oxidation (PCO) of arsenite. Although both arsenite, As(III), and arsenate, As(V), adsorb extensively onto the surface of TiO2, past studies relied primarily on the analysis of the arsenic species in solution, neglecting those adsorbed onto the surface of TiO2. We used extraction and analyses of the arsenic species adsorbed onto the surface of the TiO2 to illustrate that the oxidation of As(III) to As(V) occurs in an adsorbed state during TiO2 PCO. The TiO2 photocatalytic oxidation (PCO) of surface adsorbed As(III) in deoxygenated solutions with electron scavengers, Cu2+, and polyoxometalates (POM) yields oxidation rates that are comparable to those observed under oxygen saturation, implying the primary role of oxygen is as a scavenger of the conduction band electron. Pulse radiolysis and competition kinetics were employed to determine a rate constant of 3.6 x 10(6) M(-1) s(-1) for the reaction of As(III) with O2-*. Transient absorption studies of adsorbed hydroxyl radicals, generated by subjecting colloidal TiO2 to radiolytic conditions, provide convincing evidence that the adsorbed hydroxyl radical (TiO2+*OH) plays the central role in the oxidation with As(III) during TiO2 assisted photocatalysis. Our results suggest the reaction of superoxide anion radical does not contribute in the conversion of As(III) when compared to the reaction of As(III) with *OH radical during TiO2 PCO.  相似文献

The kinetics and mechanisms of ligand substitution reactions of the iron(III) hydroxo dimer, Fe(2)(mu-OH)(2)(H(2)O)(8)(4+), with various inorganic ligands were studied by the stopped-flow method at 10.0 or 25.0 C in 1.0 M NaClO(4). The transient formation of the following di- and tetranuclear complexes was confirmed: Fe(2)(OH)SO(4)(3+), Fe(2)(OH)H(2)PO(2)(4+), Fe(2)(OH)HPO(3)(3+), Fe(2)(OH)SeO(3)(3+), and Fe(4)(AsO(4))(OH)(2)(7+). The catalytic effect of arsenic(III) on the hydrolytic reaction of iron(III) was also attributed to the formation of a dinuclear complex at very low concentration levels. Fast formation and subsequent dissociation of the multinuclear species into the corresponding mononuclear complexes (FeL) proceed via parallel reaction paths which, in general, show composite pH dependencies. The appropriate rate laws were established. The reactions of the different ligands occur at very similar rates, though the uninegatively charged singly deprotonated form reacts about 1 order of magnitude faster than the neutral form of the same ligand. The results can conveniently be interpreted in terms of a dissociative interchange mechanism which postulates the formation of an intermediate complex in which the ligand is coordinated to only one Fe(III) center of the hydroxo dimer. In a subsequent fast step, the ligand forms a bridge between the two metal ions by replacing one of the OH groups. The dissociation of the dinuclear complex into FeL most likely proceeds via the same intermediate.  相似文献

2-Mercapto-N-2-naphtylacetamide (thionalide) on silica gel is used for differential preconcentration of μg l?1 levels of arsenic(III) and arsenic(V) from aqueous solution. In batch experiments, arsenic(III) was quantitatively retained on the gel from solutions of pH 6.5–8.5, but arsenic(V) and organic arsenic compounds were not retained. The chelating capacity of the gel was 5.6 μmol g?1 As(III) at pH 7.0. Arsenic retained on teh column was completely eluted with 25 ml of 0.01 M sodium borate in 0.01 M sodium hydroxide containing 10 mg l?1 iodine (pH 10). The arsenic was determined by silver diethyldithiocarbamate spectrophotometry. Arsenic(V) was subsequently determined after reduction to arsenic(III) with sulphite and iodide. Arsenic(III) and arsenic(V) in sea water are shown to be < 0.12 and 1.6 μg l?1, respectively.  相似文献

The tetradentate imino-carboxylate ligand [L](2)(-) chelates the equatorial sites of Ni(II) to give the complex [Ni(L)(MeOH)(2)] in which a Ni(II) center is bound in an octahedral coordination environment with MeOH ligands occupying the axial sites. Lanthanide (Ln) and Group II metal ions (M) template the aggregation of six [Ni(L)] fragments into the octahedral cage aggregates (M[Ni(L)](6))(x)(+) (1: M = Sr(II); x = 2,2: M = Ba(II); x = 2, 3: M = La(III); x = 3, 4: M = Ce(III); x = 3, 5: M = Pr(III); x = 3, and 6: M = Nd(III); x = 3). In the presence of Group I cations, however, aggregates composed of the alkali metal-oxide cations template various cage compounds. Thus, Na(+) forms the trigonal bipyramidal [Na(5)O](3+) core within a tricapped trigonal prismatic [Ni(L)](9) aggregate to give ((Na(5)O) subset [Ni(L)](9)(MeOH)(3))(BF(4))(2).OH.CH(3)OH, 7. Li(+) and Na(+) together form a mixed Li(+)/Na(+) core comprising distorted trigonal bipyramidal [Na(3)Li(2)O](3+) within an approximately anti-square prismatic [Ni(L)](8) cage in ((Na(3)Li(2)O) subset [Ni(L)](8)(CH(3)OH)(1.3)(BF(4))(0.7))(BF(4))(2.3).(CH(3)OH)(2.75).(C(4)H(10)O)(0.5), 8, while in the presence of Li(+), a tetrahedral [Li(4)O](2+) core within a hexanuclear open cage [Ni(L)](6) in ((Li(4)O) subset [Ni(L)](6)(CH(3)OH)(3))2ClO(4).1.85CH(3)OH, 9, is produced. In the presence of H(2)O, the Cs(+) cation induces the aggregation of the [Ni(L)(H(2)O)(2)] monomer to give the cluster Cs(2)[Ni(L)(H(2)O)(2)](6).2I.4CH(3)OH.5.25H(2)O, 10. Analysis by electronic spectroscopy and mass spectrometry indicates that in solution the trend in stability follows the order 1-6 > 7 > 8 approximately 9. Magnetic susceptibility data indicate that there is net antiferromagnetic exchange between magnetic centers within the cages.  相似文献

Hexachlorocyclophosph(V)azane of sulfadiazine, (sulfupyrimidine) [N(1)-2-pyrimidinylsulfanilamide] (H2L1), was prepared and reacted with sulfur and glycine to give (H2L2) and (H2L3) ligands, respectively. The prepared ligands; H2L1, H2L2 and H2L3, react in 1:2 [ligands]:[metal ions] molar ratio with transition metals to give coloured complexes in a relatively good yields. The complexes were characterized using different physicochemical techniques, namely elemental analyses, IR, UV-vis, mass, 1H NMR, molar conductance, magnetic, solid reflectance and thermal analysis. The spectral data reveal that all the ligands behave as neutral bidentate ligands and coordinated to the metal ions via pyrimidine-N and enolic sulfonamide OH. The molar conductance data reveal that the complexes are non-electrolytes while UV-vis, solid reflectance and magnetic moment data have been shown that the complexes have octahedral geometry. The thermal behaviour of the complexes is studied and the thermodynamic activation parameters are calculated. The ligands and their complexes show high to moderate bactericidal activity.  相似文献

An improved analytical procedure is presented for the separation and simultaneous determination of hydride-forming (toxic) and not hydride-forming (non-toxic) arsenic species in human urine. Separation was performed by cation-exchange chromatography using a new solid phase type based on the continuous bed chromatography (CBC) technology. This column permits by a factor of 4 higher flow rates than conventional columns resulting in a drastical reduction of retention times without any loss of resolution. Using this type of column, arsenobetaine (AsBet), arsenocholine (AsChol), and dimethylarsinic acid (DMA) were separated from the more toxic arsenic species arsenous acid (As(III)), arsenic acid (As(V)), and methylarsonic acid (MA) within only 4 min. The HPLC system was coupled via a flow injection system and either a UV or a microwave (MW) reactor to the HG-AAS instrument. UV photolysis and MW digestion were used to transform AsBet and AsChol to hydride-forming species and to make them accessible to HG-AAS. UV photolysis turned out to be more suitable for this application than MW digestion, because the latter technique led to peak broadening and poorer performance. The described procedure was applied to the determination of arsenic species in urine samples of non-occupationally exposed persons before and 12 h after seafood consumption. Detection limits were about 1 μg/L for each arsenic species. After consumption, the AsBet and DMA excretion increased by at least a factor of 150 for AsBet and by a factor of 6 for DMA, respectively, while the excretion of the other species did not increase significantly. This invalidates the use of total urinary arsenic as well as total hydride-forming arsenic as an indicator for exposure to inorganic arsenic. The synthesis and characterizations of a family of isomorphous [Mn(III)(2)M(III)(4)L(2)(μ(4)-O)(2)(N(3))(2)(CH(3)O)(2)(CH(3)OH)(4)(NO(3))(2)]·2H(2)O (M = Y(1), Gd(2), Tb(3), Dy(4)) are reported, where H(4)L = N,N'-dihydroxyethyl-N,N'-(2-hydroxy-4,5-dimethylbenzyl)ethylenediamine. They were obtained from the reactions of H(4)L with M(NO(3))(3)·6H(2)O, Mn(ClO(4))(2)·6H(2)O, NaN(3) and NEt(3) in a 1?:?1?:?1?:?2?:?2 molar ratio. The core structure consists of a Mn(2)M(4) unit. The four M(III) ions that are held together by two μ(4)-bridging oxygen atoms form a butterfly M(4) moiety. The M(4) core is further connected to the two five-coordinate trigonal-bipyramidal Mn(III) ions via one μ(4)-O(2-), two alkyloxo and one methoxo triple bridges. Magnetic susceptibility measurements indicate the presence of intramolecular antiferromagnetic interactions in complex 2, and overall intramolecular ferromagnetic interactions in complexes 3 and 4. The alternating current (AC) magnetic susceptibility studies revealed that complexes 3 and 4 showed frequency-dependent out-of-phase signals, which indicates that they exhibit slow relaxation of the magnetization.  相似文献

The potential of the As(V)/As(III) half-cell was measured at 25 degrees with a glass electrode as reference electrode in order to eliminate the liquid-junction potential. Rapid and reproducible values could be obtained only in the presence of iodide, which increases the rate of electron-exchange between the two oxidation states of arsenic, but only at hydrogen-ion concentrations higher than about 0.5M. Extrapolation to zero ionic strength was therefore required to obtain the standard potential. A value of 573 +/- 2 mV was calculated for the half-reaction AsO(OH)(3) + 2e(-) + 2H(+) right harpoon over left harpoon As(OH)(3) + H(2)O.  相似文献

Abstract

Binuclear iron(III) complexes with salicylate ligands, Na2 [Fe2 (C7 H4 O3)4 (H2O)2] and Na4 [Fe2 (C7H4O3)4 (OH)2], crystallize out in the pH range 1–5 and pH 5.5, respectively, from solutions containing iron(III) chloride and a slightly more than two molar proportion of sodium salicylate. Infrared and Mössbauer spectral results and magnetic moment data indicate the presence of non-linear Fe—O—Fe bridge bonds. Evidently two salicylate ligands form bridges between the two iron(III) ions through phenolic oxygen. Mössbauer spectral results indicate the absence of bridging salicylate ligands in solutions of the complex prepared by mixing iron(III) chloride and two to three-fold molar excess of salicylate ions; only mononuclear complexes exist in such solutions.  相似文献

A series of coordination polymers with anionic, cationic, and neutral metal-carboxylate frameworks have been synthesized by using a flexible tetrapodal ligand tetrakis[4-(carboxyphenyl)oxamethyl] methane acid (H(4)X). The reactions between divalent transition-metal ions and H(4)X ligands gave [M(3)X(2)]·[NH(2)(CH(3))(2)](2)·8DMA (M = Co (1), Mn (2), Cd(3)) which have anionic metal-carboxylate frameworks with NH(2)(CH(3))(2)(+) cations filled in channels. The reactions of trivalent metal ions Y(III), Dy(III), and In(III) with H(4)X ligands afforded cationic metal-carboxylate frameworks [M(3)X(2)·(NO(3))·(DMA)(2)·(H(2)O)]·5DMA·2H(2)O (M = Y(4), Dy(5)) and [In(2)X·(OH)(2)]·3DMA·6H(2)O (6) with the NO(3)(-) and OH(-) serving as counterions, respectively. Moreover, a neutral metal-carboxylate framework [Pb(2)X·(DMA)(2)]·2DMA (7) can also be isolated from reaction of Pb(II) and H(4)X ligands. The charged metal-carboxylate frameworks 1-5 have selectivity for specific counterions in the reaction system, and compounds 1 and 2 display ion-exchange behavior. Moreover, magnetic property measurements on compounds 1, 2, and 5 indicate that there exists weak antiferromagnetic interactions between magnetic centers in the three compounds.  相似文献

The feasibility of using bis(delta2-2-imidazolinyl)-5,5'-dioxime (H2L) for the selective extraction of iron(III) from aqueous solutions was investigated by employing an solvent-extraction technique. The extraction of iron(III) from an aqueous nitrate solution in the presence of metal ions, such as cobalt(II), copper(II) and nickel(II), was carried out using H2L in binary and multicomponent mixtures. Iron(III) extraction has been studied as a function of the pH, equilibrium time and extractant concentration. From the extracted complex species in the organic phase, iron(III) was stripped with 2 M HNO3, and later determined using atomic-absorption spectrometry. The extraction was found to significantly depend on the aqueous solution pH. The extraction of iron(III) with H2L increases with the pH value, reaching a maximum in the zone of pH 2.0, remaining constant between 2 and 3.5 and subsequently decreasing. The quantitative extraction of iron(III) with 5 x 10(-30 M H2L in toluene is observed at pH 2.0. H2L was found to react with iron(III) to form ligand complex having a composition of 1:2 (Fe:H2L).  相似文献

2-(5-Methyl-1H-benzimidazol-2-yl)-4-bromo/nitro-phenols (HLBr and HLNO2) and their Zn(II) complexes with ZnX2 (X = Cl, I, NO3) were synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, molar conductivity, IR, 1H and 13C NMR spectra. The OH proton appears near the NH protons in the 1H NMR spectra of the ligands because of the strong intramolecular hydrogen bonding between the OH hydrogen and the C=N nitrogen atoms. The complexation is investigated in ethanol and isopropanol and it is observed that isopropanol is a better solvent than ethanol for the complex forming. HLBr gives harder complexation reaction with Zn(II) according to HLNO2 because of the stronger intramolecular hydrogen bonding in HLBr, and the both ligands react easier with Zn(NO3)2 than ZnCl2 and ZnI2. The Zn(II) complexes of HLBr have 1:1 M:L ratio and ionic character, however, HLNO2 give a non-ionic complex that has 1:2 M:L ratio. In the complexes the phenolic hydrogen is eliminated and a chelate structure is formed.  相似文献

The bis(beta-diketone) ligands 1,3-bis(3-phenyl-3-oxopropanoyl)benzene, H(2)L(1) and 1,3-bis(3-phenyl-3-oxopropanoyl) 5-ethoxy-benzene, H(2)L(2), have been prepared for the examination of dinuclear lanthanide complex formation and investigation of their properties as sensitizers for lanthanide luminescence. The ligands bear two conjugated diketonate binding sites linked by a 1,3-phenylene spacer. The ligands bind to lanthanide(III) or yttrium(III) ions to form neutral homodimetallic triple stranded complexes [M(2)L(1)(3)] where M = Eu, Nd, Sm, Y, Gd and [M(2)L(2)(3)], where M = Eu, Nd or anionic quadruple-stranded dinuclear lanthanide units, [Eu(2)L(1)(4)](2-). The crystal structure of the free ligand H(2)L(1) has been determined and shows a twisted arrangement of the two binding sites around the 1,3-phenylene spacer. The dinuclear complexes have been isolated and fully characterized. Detailed NMR investigations of the complexes confirm the formation of a single complex species, with high symmetry; the complexes show clear proton patterns with chemical shifts of a wide range due to the lanthanide paramagnetism. Addition of Pirkle's reagent to solutions of the complexes leads to splitting of the peaks, confirming the chiral nature of the complexes. Electrospray and MALDI mass spectrometry have been used to identify complex formulation and characteristic isotope patterns for the different lanthanide complexes have been obtained. The complexes have high molar absorption coefficients (around 13 x 10(4) M(-1)cm(-1)) and display strong visible (red or pink) or NIR luminescence upon irradiation at the ligand band around 350 nm, depending on the choice of the lanthanide. Emission quantum yield experiments have been performed and the luminescence signals of the dinuclear complexes have been found to be up to 11 times more intense than the luminescence signals of the mononuclear analogues. The emission quantum yields and the luminescence lifetimes are determined to be 5% and 220 micros for [Eu(2)L(1)(3)], 0.16% and 13 micros for [Sm(2)L(1)(3)], and 0.6% and 1.5 micros for [Nd(2)L(1)(3)]. The energy level of the ligand triplet state was determined from the 77 K spectrum of [Gd(2)L(1)(3)]. The bis-diketonate ligand is shown to be an efficient sensitizer, particularly for Sm and Nd. Photophysical studies of the europium complexes at room temperature and 77 K show the presence of a thermally activated deactivation pathway, which we attribute to ligand-to-metal charge transfer (LMCT). Quenching of the luminescence from this level seems to be operational for the Eu(III) complex but not for complexes of Sm(III) and Nd(III), which exhibit long lifetimes. The quadruple-stranded europium complex has been isolated and characterized as the piperidinium salt of [Eu(2)L(1)(4)](2-). Compared with the triple-stranded Eu(III) complex in the solid state, the quadruple-stranded complex displays a more intense emission signal with a distinct emission pattern indicating the higher symmetry of the quadruple-stranded complex.  相似文献

A method to separate and quantify two inorganic arsenic species As(III) and As(V) and two organic arsenic species, monomethylarsonic acid (MMA) and dimethylarsinic acid (DMA), by HPLC-ICP/MS has been developed. The separation of arsenic species was achieved on the anionic exchange column IonPac AS11 (Dionex) with NaOH as mobile phase. The technique was successfully applied to analyze extracts of two contaminated soils, sampled at a former tannery site (soil 1) and a former paint production site (soil 2). The soils were extracted at pH values similar to the natural environment. Extractions were performed at different pH values with 0.3 M ammonium oxalate (pH = 3), milli-Q water (pH = 5.8), 0.3 M sodium carbonate (pH = 8) and 0.3 M sodium bicarbonate (pH = 11). No organically bound arsenic was found in the extracts. As(V) was the major component. Only up to 0.04% of the total arsenic contained in soil 1 were mobilized. The highest amount of extracted arsenic was found at the highest pH. In the milli-Q water extract of soil 1 As(III) and As(V) were found. High amounts of As(V) were found in the extracts of soil 2. Up to 20% of the total arsenic bound to soil 2 constituents were released. The results show that the mobilization of arsenic depended on the pH value of the extraction solution and the kind of extracted soil. Dramatic consequences have to be expected for pH changes in the environment especially in cases where soils contain high amounts of mobile arsenic.  相似文献

The dititanium-containing 19-tungstodiarsenate(III) [Ti(2)(OH)(2)As(2)W(19)O(67)(H(2)O)](8-) (1) has been synthesized and characterized by IR, TGA, elemental analysis, electrochemistry, and catalytic studies. Single-crystal X-ray analysis was carried out on Cs(8)[Ti(2)(OH)(2)As(2)W(19)O(67)(H(2)O)].2CsCl.12H(2)O (Cs-1), which crystallizes in the monoclinic system, space group P2(1)/m, with a=12.7764(19), b=19.425(3), c=18.149(3) A, beta=110.234(3) degrees, and Z=2. Polyanion 1 comprises two (B-alpha-As(III)W(9)O(33)) Keggin moieties linked through an octahedral {WO(5)(H(2)O)} fragment and two unprecedented square-pyramidal {TiO(4)(OH)} groups, leading to a sandwich-type structure with nominal C(2v) symmetry. Synthesis of 1 was accomplished by reaction of TiOSO(4) and K(14)[As(2)W(19)O(67)(H(2)O)] in a 2:1 molar ratio in aqueous, acidic medium (pH 2). Polyanion 1 could also be isolated as a tetra-n-butyl ammonium (TBA) salt, {(n-C(4)H(9))(4)N}(5)H(3)[Ti(2)(OH)(2)As(2)W(19)O(67)(H(2)O)] (TBA-1). TBA-1 was studied by cyclic voltammetry in acetonitrile (MeCN) solutions containing 0.1 M LiClO(4) and compared with the results obtained with Cs-1 in aqueous media. In MeCN, the Ti(IV) and W(VI) waves could not be separated distinctly. An important adsorption phenomenon on the glassy carbon working electrode was encountered both in cyclic voltammetry and in controlled potential electrolysis and was confirmed by Electrochemical Quartz Crystal Microbalance (EQCM) studies on a carbon film. TBA-1, dissolved in MeCN, reacts with H(2)O(2) to give peroxo complexes stable enough for characterization by UV-visible spectroscopy, cyclic voltammetry, and EQCM. TBA-1 shows high catalytic activity (TOF=11.3 h(-1)) in cyclohexene oxidation with aqueous H(2)O(2) producing products typical of a heterolytic oxidation mechanism. The stability of TBA-1 under turnover conditions was confirmed by using IR, UV-visible spectroscopy as well as cyclic voltammetry.  相似文献

The conversions of hexahydroxo rhenium cluster complexes [Re6Q8(OH)6]4- (Q=S, Se) in aqueous solutions in a wide pH range were investigated by chemical methods and spectroscopic measurements. Dependences of the spectroscopic and excited-state properties of the solutions on pH have been studied in detail. It has been found that a pH decrease of aqueous solutions of the potassium salts K4[Re6Q8(OH)6].8H2O (Q=S, Se) results in the formation of aquahydroxo and hexaaqua cluster complexes with the general formula [Re6Q8(H2O)n(OH)6-n]n-4 that could be considered as a result of the protonation of the terminal OH- ligands in the hexahydroxo complexes. The compounds K2[Re6S8(H2O)2(OH)4].2H2O (1), [Re6S8(H2O)4(OH)2].12H2O (2), [Re6S8(H2O)6][Re6S6Br8].10H2O (3), and [Re6Se8(H2O)4(OH)2] (4) have been isolated and characterized by X-ray single-crystal diffraction and elemental analyses and infrared (IR) spectroscopy. In crystal structures of the aquahydroxo complexes, the cluster units are connected to each other by an extensive system of very strong hydrogen bonds between terminal ligands.  相似文献
