The reaction of bis(N-salicylidene)dicarboxylic acid dihydrazides (H4 Lig) with cobalt(II) salts was investigated. Chelates of the types Co(H3 Lig)X ·nH2O, Co2(H2 Lig)X 2, Co3(H3 Lig)2 X 4, Co(H2 Lig) ·nH2O and Co(H3 Lig)2 ·nH2O (X=Cl, Br, I or SCN) were isolated and characterized by their infrared and electronic spectra as well as their magnetic properties.

Extraction of Hg(II), Se(IV), Mn(II) and Co(II) has been carried out with 1-phenyl-3-methyl-4-trifluoroacetyl-2-pyrazolin-5-one (HPMTFP) and triphenylphosphine oxide (TPPO) into chloroform from pH 1–10. Quantitative extraction of Hg(II), Mn(II) and Co(II) at pH 4 with equimolar 0.05M (PMTFP+TPPO) in chloroform was observed. Se(IV) remains unextracted at this pH range. The stoichiometric composition of the extracted complexes M(PMTFP)2·nH2O (M=Mn, Hg), M(PMTFP)2·2TPPO (M=Mn and Co) and Co(PMTFP)2·TPPO·H2O at less than 0.1M TPPO has been established. The formation constantsK m,0 andK m,n and stability constants m,n have been computed. The analytical method developed was applied to the IAEA standard reference material (SRM) potato fluor V-4 for the determination of these elements using NAA technique.  相似文献

Six metal(II) complexes with quercetin ML2 · nH2O [L = quercetin (3-OH group deprotonated); M = Mn, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, and Pb; n = 2 or 3] have been prepared and characterized by elemental analysis, complexometric titration, thermal analysis, conductivity, i.r., u.v., 1H-n.m.r. and fluorescence spectral techniques as well as by cyclic voltammetry. The antioxidative and anti-tumour activities of quercetin · 2H2O and the complexes were tested by both the MTT and SRB methods. The results show that the suppression ratios of the complexes against the tested tumour cells are superior to quercetin · 2H2O. The effect of ZnL2 · 3H2O reacting with calf thymus DNA was studied by fluorescence methods. The Zn-complex binding to DNA has been determined by fluorescence titration in 0.05 M Tris-HCl, 0.5 M NaCl buffer (pHb = 7.0). The results indicate that the interaction of the complex with DNA is very evident.  相似文献

Summary Complexes of the type M(AcLeu)2 · B2 (M = CoII, NiII or ZnII; B = H2O, py, 3-pic, 4-pic; AcLeu =N-acetyl-DL-leucinate ion) and M(AcLeu)2 B (M = CoII or ZnII and B = o-phen) were prepared and investigated by means of magnetic and spectroscopic measurements. The i.r. spectra of all the complexes are consistent with bidentate coordination of the amino acid to the metal ion. The room temperature solid state electronic spectra indicate that the symmetry of this species is closer toD 4h and that MO6 and MO4N2 chromophores are present in the M(AcLeu)2 · 2 H2O and M(AcLeu)2Bn · x H2O (B = py, 3-pic, 4-pic, n=2 and x=0 for M = NiII; B = o-phen, n=1 and x=0 for M = CoII; B = py, 3-pic, 4-pic, n=1 and x=1 for M = CoII) complexes, respectively. By comparing the Dq values of the amino acid and those of other N-substituted amino acids previously studied, a spectrochemical series of the the cobalt(II) and nickel(II) complexes is proposed. The1 H n.m.r. spectra of the zinc(II) complexes confirm the proposed stereochemistry.  相似文献

Summary Six metal(II) complexes with Morin ML2·nH2O [L = Morin(2-OH group deprotonated); M = Mn, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, or Cd; n = 2 or 3] have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, molar conductance, i.r., 1H-n.m.r., t.g.-d.t.a and u.v.-vis. spectroscopic techniques and by fluorescence analysis. Comparative antitumour activities of Morin·2H2O and two complexes [ZnL2·3H2O and CuL2·2H2O] were tested by in vitro screening. The results show that the inhibitory ratio of complexes against the tested tumour cells was higher than that of Morin.  相似文献

New complexes of Co(II), Ni(II), and Cu(II) with 1-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-1H-1,2,4-triazole (L) of the composition ML2(H2O)2(NO3)2 · nH2O (M = Co(II), n = 3; M = Ni(II), n = 0; M = Cu(II), n = 0) were synthesized and studied by photoelectron and IR spectroscopy, magnetochemistry, thermogravimetry, and X-ray powder diffraction analysis. The type of eff(T) relationship suggests that paramagnetic centers in the Co(II) chloride and Cu(II) nitrate and bromide complexes are involved in antiferromagnetic exchange interactions. The exchange energy values were estimated by the molecular field method.  相似文献

Summary Reactions of glyoxal bis(morpholineN-thiohydrazone), H2gbmth, with NiCl2·6H2O, Ni(OAc)2·4H2O, Ni(acac)2· H2O, CuCl2·2H2O, Cu(OAc)2·H2O, Cu(acac)2, CoCl2· 6H2O, Co(OAc)2·4H2O and Co(acac)2·2H2O yield complexes of the type [M(gbmth)], [M=NiII, CuII or CoII]. Diacetyl reacts with morpholineN-thiohydrazide in the presence of nickel salts to yield [NiII(dbmth)], [NiII(dmth)(OAc)]H2O and [NiII(Hdmth)(NH3)Cl2] involving N2S2 and NSO donor ligands. Copper and cobalt complexes of N2S2 and NSO donor ligands with compositions [CuII(dbmth)], [CoII(dbmth)]·4H2O and [CoII(H2dbmth)]Cl2, have been isolated. The compounds have been characterised by elemental analyses, magnetic moments, molar conductance values and spectroscopic (electronic and infrared) data.  相似文献

A new series of hexacoordinate cobalt(II), nickel(II) and copper(II) complexes of 5-(2-carboxyphenylazo)-2-thiohydantoin HL having formulae [LM(OAc)(H2O)2] · nH2O (M = CoII, CuII and NiII), [LMCl(H2O)2] · nH2O (M = CoII and NiII), [LCuCl(H2O)]2 · 2H2O, [LCu(H2O)3](ClO4) and [LCu(HSO4)(H2O)2] were isolated and characterized by elemental analyses, molar conductivities and magnetic susceptibilities, and by i.r., electronic and e.s.r. spectral measurements, as well as by thermal (t.g. and d.t.g.) analyses. The i.r. spectra indicate that the ligand HL behaves as a monobasic tridentate towards the three divalent metal ions via an azo-N, carboxylate-O and thiohydantoin-O atom. The magnetic moments and electronic spectral data suggest an octahedral geometry for CoII complexes, distorted octahedral geometry for both NiII and CuII complexes with a dimeric structure for [LCuCl(H2O)]2 · 2H2O through bridged chloro ligands. The X-band e.s.r. spectra reveal an axial symmetry for the copper(II) complexes with unsymmetrical Ms = ± 1 signal and G-parameter less than four for the dimeric [LCuCl(H2O)]2 · 2H2O. The thermogravimetry (t.g. and d.t.g.) of some complexes were studied; the order and kinetic parameters of their thermal degradation were determined by applying Coats–Redfern method and discussed.  相似文献

Summary Cobalt(II) and nickel(II) complexes of 4-amino-6-methyl-5-oxo-3-phenylamino-1,2,4-triazine (ATAZ), MX2(ATAZ)2 · 2 H2O (M = Co or Ni; X = Cl, Br, I or NCS), have been isolated. The electronic spectra, magnetic moments and i.r. spectra of the compounds have been studied.Pseudo-octahedral environments are proposed for the complexes: [MX2(ATAZ)2]. 2 H2O (M = Ni or Co; X = Cl or Br) and [CoI2(ATAZ)2(H2O)2], and apseudo-tetrahedral structure for [NiX2(ATAZ)2] · 2 H2O (X = I or NCS) and [Co(NCS)2-(ATAZ)2] · 2 H,O. However, [CoX2(ATAZ)2]. 2 H2O (X = Cl or Br) give acetone solutions containing tetrahedral cobalt(II).  相似文献

The reaction of aquo-ethanolic solutions of Co(II), Ni(II) and Cu(II) salts and ethanolic solution of capric acid hydrazide (L) yielded paramagnetic, high-spin bis- and tris(ligand) chelate complexes. The tris(ligand) complexes, [ML 3]X 2·nH2O [M=Co(II), Ni(II);X=NO 3 , ClO 4 , 1/2SO 4 2– ], have an octahedral structure formed on account of the bidentate (NO) coordination of three neutral hydrazide molecules. In the bis(ligand) complexes,ML 2(NCS)2 [M=Co(II), Ni(II)] and CuL 2 X 2·nH2O (X=NO 3 , ClO 4 and 1/2SO 4 2– ), the oxoanions and NCS take also part in coordination. The complexes have been characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectra, magnetic measurements, molar conductivity and TG analysis.

Zusammenfassung Durch die Reaktion von wäßrig-ethanolischen Lösungen von Co(II)-, Ni(II)-und Cu(II)-Salzen mit einer ethanolischen Lösung von Caprinsäurehydrazid (L) wurden paramagnetische high-spin Bis- und Tris-Ligand-Chelatkomplexe erhalten. Tris-Ligand-Komplexe des Typs [ML 3 X 2·nH2O [M=Co(II), Ni(II);X=NO 3 , ClO 4 , 1/2SO 4 2– ], die eine oktaedrische Struktur besitzen, entstehen durch die Koordination von drei neutralen zweizähnigen (NO)-Hydrazidmolekülen. Bei den Bis-Ligand-KomplexenML 2(NCS)2 [M=Co(II), Ni(II)], sowie bei den Bis-Ligand-Komplexen CuL 2 X 2·nH2O (X=NO 3 , ClO 4 , 1/2SO 4 2– ) nehmen bei der Koordination außer Hydrazid auch die Säurereste teil. Die Komplexe wurden durch Elementaranalyse, IR-Spektren, magnetische Messungen, molare Leitfähigkeit und TG-Analysen charakterisiert.

Summary Cobalt(II), nickel(II) and copper(II) complexes of 3, 5-dimethyl-1-(4, 6-dimethyl-2-pyrimidyl)pyrazole (DPymPz) have been synthesized and characterized. Magnetic and electronic spectral features show that both [M(DPymPz)2X2nH2O [M=cobalt(II) or nickel(II), X=Cl, Br, I, SCN, NO3, ClO4 or BF4 andn=0 or 2] and [Cu(DPymPz)X2(H2O)2] (X=Cl, Br or SCN) are essentially octahedral species. The i.r. spectra indicate that DPymPz is a neutral bidentate ligand being the pyrazolyl and one pyrimidyl ring nitrogen. Solid-state complexes with the formulae CuL x X2·nH2O, wereL=2-methyl-, 5-methyl-, or 7-methylpyrido[2,3-d]imidazole,X=NO 3 or Cl,x=2 or 3, andn=1 or 2, were subjected to thermogravimetric analyses. The kinetic parameters were calculated according to the Coats-Redfern method. Reactions paths are proposed and their agreement with the data obtained from TG curves is checked.The authors thank Dr. W. Surga for XRD analyses, and Dr. B. Kowalczyk and Dr. M. Summary Reactions of 2-mercapto-3-phenyl-4-quinazolinone (LH) with PdCl2 · 2H2O and PtCl4 · 5H2O lead to the formation of [ML2 complexes (M = PdII or PtII). Reactions of PdCl2 · 2H2O with LH in the presence ofN-heterocyclic bases yield compounds of type [PdLClB], (B = py, 3-pic, (o-phen)1/2, and (bipy)1/2) or Pd(LH)Cl(imz). PtCl4] · 5H2O reacts with LH in the presence of variousN-heterocyclic bases to give [PtL2B] compounds (B = py, 3-pic, (o-phen)1/2 or (pyrm)1/2) and [PtL2BCl] (B = imz or pz). These complexes have been characterised on the basis of analytical, i.r. and electronic spectral and magnetic measurement studies, and tentative structures for them are proposed.  相似文献

Summary N-Cyano-N-methyl-N(2-[(5-methyl-1H-imidazol-4-yl)-methylthio] ethyl) guanidine cimetidine (CM), complexes with CoII, NiII and CuII are described. The compounds are of stoichiometry [M(CM)2]SO4 · nH2O [M = CoII, NiII or CuII; n = 3,3 or 4, respectively], [M(CM)2](ClO4)2 [M = CoII or NiII], [M(CM)2]Cl2 · nH2O [M=CoII, NiII or CuII; n = 1, 2, or 2, respectively] and [Cu(CM)SO4] · 2H2O. The electronic spectra of the compounds in solid state, magnetic susceptibilities and i.r. and e.p.r. spectra were studied. Octahedral environments are proposed for the complexes: [M(CM)2]SO4·nH2O, [M(CM)2](ClO4)2, [Ni(CM)2]Cl2 · 2H2O, [Cu(CM)2]Cl2 · 2H2O and [Cu(CM)SO4] · 2H2O and a tetrahedral structure for [Co(CM)2]Cl2 · H2O.  相似文献

Summary Two ditertiaryarsines,o-phenylenebis(diphenylarsine), (pdpa) ando-phenylenebis(di-p-tolylarsine), (pdta) yield some new complexes of palladium(II) and platinum(II). These are: square planar M(pdta)X2 · nCH2Cl2, [M = Pd, X = Cl, Br or NCS; M = Pt, X = Cl]; [Pt(A-A)2] X2 · nCH2Cl2, [(A-A) = pdta, X = Cl, NCS or ClO4; (A-A) = pdpa, X=ClO4] and [M2(A-A)2(NCS)2] (ClO4)2 · nCH2Cl2, [M = Pd, (A-A) = pdta; M = Pt, (A-A) = pdpa]; distorted octahedral M(pdta)2-X2nCH2Cl2, [M = Pd, X = I; M = Pt, X = Br or I] and [Pd(pdta)2(H2O)2](ClO4)2, and five coordinate [M(A-A)2X] ClO4 · nCH2Cl2, [M = Pd, Pt, (A-A) = pdta, X = I; M = Pt, (A-A) = pdpa, X = Br or I]. The [M2(A-A)2(NCS)2] (ClO4)2 · nCH2Cl2 complexes are novel in the sense that they contain bridging thiocyanate together with ionic perchlorate. The stereochemical assignments have been made on the basis of i.r. and u.v. spectra as well as conductance data.  相似文献

The reactions of Co(II), Ni(II), and Cu(II) chlorides and bromides and their metallic powders with tetrazol-1-yl-tris(hydroxymethyl)methane (L) afforded new complexes ML2Hal2 · mH2O(M = Co(II) or Ni(II), Hal = Cl; M = Cu(II), Hal = Cl or Br, m = 0; and M = Co(II) or Ni(II), Hal = Br, m = 2), MLnCl2 (M = Co(II) or Ni(II), n = 2 or 4; M = Cu(II), n = 2), and MLnBr2 · mH2O (M = Ni(II), n = 2, m = 2; M = Cu(II), n = 2, m = 0). The compositions and structures of the synthesized complexes were determined by elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy (50–4000 cm−1), and X-ray diffraction analysis. The introduction of a bulky substituent into position 1 of the tetrazole cycle was shown to exert almost no effect on the coordination mode but affected the composition and structure of the complexes.  相似文献

Summary The synthesis and characterisation of a number of new coordination compounds of PtII and PdII with the nitrogen donor ligand pyrazole (PzH) is described. These compounds arecis-Pt(PzH)2X2,tans-Pt(PzH)2X2, Pt(PzH)4X2 · n H2O (n = 0 or 1), Pd(PzH)4X2 and Pt(PzH)4PtCl4 where X = Cl, Br and I.cis-Pd(PzH)2X2 compounds could not be obtained;trans-Pd(PzH)2X2 compounds seem to exist in more than one crystal form.The new compounds were characterised by chemical analyses, x-ray powder diffraction, i.r. and far-i.r. and by1H n.m.r. spectroscopy. Summary Reactions of hybrid oxygen-arsenic ligandso-R2As-C6H4CO2H (R=Et, C6H11 andp-tolyl) (2 mols) with M(OAc)2 · 4H2O (M=Co or Ni) (1 mol) yield Co(o-R2As-C6H4CO2)2 (R=Et orp-tolyl) and Ni(o-R2AsC6H4CO2)2 · nH2O (R=Et, n=0.5; R=C6H11, n=2) complexes. The electronic spectra and magnetic susceptibilities at different temperatures are compatible with tetrahedral and octahedral stereochemistries for cobalt(II) and nickel(II) complexes respectively. The ligand field parameters (10 Dq and B) have also been calculated and interpreted in terms of metal-ligand bond types.  相似文献

Summary Mixed ligand diglycinatocopper(II) complexes of the Cu(glygly)L·nH2O type, where glygly stands for [NH2-CH2 CONCH2CO2]2– and L for imidazole (n = 1.5), N-methylimidazole (n = 1), 2-methylimidazole (n = 2), 4-methylimidazole (n = 2), 4-phenylimidazole (n = 2), N-acetylhistamine (n = 2) and NH3 (n = 2), were prepared and characterized by elemental analyses, i.r., vis. and e.p.r. spectroscopic measurements. The molecular structure of [Cu(glygly)(achmH)]·2H2O (achmH = acetylhistamine) was determined using three dimensional XRD data. The structure consists of distorted square planar [Cu(glygly)-(achmH)] units interconnected via the peptide oxygen at the apex to complete a square pyramidal structure, Cu—O-(peptide) 2.477(2) Å. The H2O molecules, not binding directly to the copper ion, involve in intermolecular hydrogen bonding with the copper units. The dianionic glygly ligand and the imidazole ring bind strongly to the central copper ion with Cu—N(amino) 2.045(6) Å, Cu—N-(peptide) 1.891(5) Å, Cu—O(carboxylate) 2.001(4) Å and Cu—N(imidazole) 1.956(5) Å. The dihedral angle between the imidazole nucleus and the CuN3O xy plane is 6.0°. Similar structures with a CuN3O coordination plane are proposed for the imidazole complexes, based on spectroscopic data. The bonding properties of the glygly ligand and the unidentate imidazole ligands are elucidated and discussed with reference to the electronic structures of the complexes deduced from Gaussian analyses.  相似文献
