Equivalent characterization of centralizers on <Emphasis Type="Italic">B</Emphasis>(<Emphasis Type="Italic">H</Emphasis>) 下载免费PDF全文
Let H be a Hilbert space with dim H≥2 and Z∈ß(H) be an arbitrary but fixed operator. In this paper we show that an additive map Φ:ß(H) → ß(H) satisfies Φ(AB)=Φ(A)B=AΦ(B) for any A,B∈ß(H) with AB=Z if and only if Φ(AB)=Φ(A)B=AΦ(B), ∀A, B∈ß(H), that is, Φ is a centralizer. Similar results are obtained for Hilbert space nest algebras. In addition, we show that Φ(A2)=AΦ(A)=Φ(A)A for any A∈ ß(H) with AA2=0 if and only if Φ(A)=AΦ(I)=Φ(I)A, ∀A∈ß(H), and generalize main results in Linear Algebra and its Application, 450, 243-249 (2014) to infinite dimensional case. New equivalent characterization of centralizers on ß(H) is obtained. 相似文献

In this paper LJ-spaces are introduced and studied. They are a common generalization of Lindelöf spaces and J-spaces researched by E. Michael. A space X is called an LJ-space if, whenever {A, B} is a closed cover of X with A ∩ B compact, then A or B is Lindelöf. Semi-strong LJ-spaces and strong LJ-spaces are also defined and investigated. It is demonstrated that the three spaces are different and have interesting properties and behaviors. 相似文献

The modular Witt algebra W(p, n) and H(p, 2n) are defined on the polynomial rings Zp[x1,...,xn] and Zp[X1,...,xn, y1,...,yn] respectively. We generalize Zp[x1,...,xn] and Zp[x1,...,xn, y1,...,yn], so we get the generalized W-type and H-type modular Lie algebras. We show that if K is a compact metric space then C(K) is a 2-absolute Lipschitz retract. We then study the best Lipschitz extension constants for maps into C(K) from a given metric space M, extending recent results of Lancien and Randrianantoanina. They showed that a finite-dimensional normed space which is polyhedral has the isometric extension property for C(K)-spaces; here we show that the same result holds for spaces with Gateaux smooth norm or of dimension two; a three-dimensional counterexample is also given. We also show that X is polyhedral if and only if every subset E of X has the universal isometric extension property for C(K)-spaces. We also answer a question of Naor on the extension of Hölder continuous maps. 相似文献

The k-uniform s-hypertree G = (V,E) is an s-hypergraph, where 1 ≤ s ≤ k - 1; and there exists a host tree T with vertex set V such that each edge of G induces a connected subtree of T. In this paper, some properties of uniform s-hypertrees are establised, as well as the upper and lower bounds on the largest H-eigenvalue of the adjacency tensor of k-uniform s-hypertrees in terms of the maximal degree Δ. Moreover, we also show that the gap between the maximum and the minimum values of the largest H-eigenvalue of k-uniform s-hypertrees is just Θ(Δ s/k ). 相似文献

In this note, we show that if for any transitive neighborhood assignment φ for X there is a point-countable refinement ? such that for any non-closed subset A of X there is some V ∈ ? such that |V ∩ A| ? ω, then X is transitively D. As a corollary, if X is a sequential space and has a point-countable wcs*-network then X is transitively D, and hence if X is a Hausdorff k-space and has a point-countable k-network, then X is transitively D. We prove that if X is a countably compact sequential space and has a pointcountable wcs*-network, then X is compact. We point out that every discretely Lindelöf space is transitively D. Let (X, τ) be a space and let (X, ?) be a butterfly space over (X, τ). The main result of this paper is a bi-parameter Tb theorem for Littlewood–Paley g-function, where b is a tensor product of two pseudo-accretive function. Instead of the doubling measure, we work with a product measure μ = μn × μm, where the measures μn and μm are only assumed to be upper doubling. The main techniques of the proof include a bi-parameter b-adapted Haar function decomposition and an averaging identity over good double Whitney regions. The paper focuses on the 1-generated positively graded algebras with non-pure resolutions and mainly discusses a new kind of algebras called(s,t,d)-bi-Koszul algebras as the generalization of bi-Koszul algebras. An(s,t,d)-bi-Koszul algebra can be obtained from two periodic algebras with pure resolutions. The generation of the Koszul dual of an(s,t,d)-bi-Koszul algebra is discussed.
