The measure of non-compactness is estimated from below for various operators, including the Hardy-Littlewood maximal operator, the fractional maximal operator and the Hilbert transform, all acting between weighted Lebesgue spaces. The identity operator acting between weighted Lebesgue spaces and also between the counterparts of these spaces with variable exponents is similarly analysed. These results enable the lack of compactness of such operators to be quantified.  相似文献

Our aim in this paper is to deal with the boundedness of the Hardy-Littlewood maximal operator on grand Morrey spaces of variable exponents over non-doubling measure spaces. As an application of the boundedness of the maximal operator, we establish Sobolev’s inequality for Riesz potentials of functions in grand Morrey spaces of variable exponents over non-doubling measure spaces. We are also concerned with Trudinger’s inequality and the continuity for Riesz potentials.  相似文献

We study general Lebesgue spaces with variable exponent p. It is known that the classes L and N of functions p are such that the Hardy-Littlewood maximal operator is bounded on them provided pLP. The class L governs local properties of p and N governs the behavior of p at infinity.In this paper we focus on the properties of p near infinity. We extend the class N to a collection D of functions p such that the Hardy-Littlewood maximal operator is bounded on the corresponding variable Lebesgue spaces provided pLD and the class D is essentially larger than N.Moreover, the condition pD is quite easily verifiable in the practice.  相似文献

We study two-weight inequalities with general-type weights for Hardy-Littlewood maximal operator in the Lebesgue spaces with variable exponent. The exponent function satisfies log-Holder-type local continuity condition and decay condition in infinity. The right-hand side weight to the certain power satisfies the doubling condition. In this paper, we obtain the necessary and sufficient condition of the pre-compact sets in the variable exponent Lebesgue spaces, which is also called the Riesz-Kolmogorov theorem. The main novelty appearing in this approach is the constructive approximation which does not rely on the boundedness of the Hardy-Littlewood maximal operator in the considered spaces such that we do not need the log-H¨older continuous conditions on the variable exponent. As applications, we establish the boundedness of Riemann-Liouville integral operators and prove the compactness of truncated Riemann-Liouville integral operators in the variable exponent Lebesgue spaces. Moreover, applying the Riesz-Kolmogorov theorem established in this paper, we obtain the existence and the uniqueness of solutions to a Cauchy type problem for fractional differential equations in variable exponent Lebesgue spaces.  相似文献

We introduce families of weighted grand Lebesgue spaces which generalize weighted grand Lebesgue spaces (known also as Iwaniec-Sbordone spaces). The generalization admits a possibility of expanding usual (weighted) Lebesgue spaces to grand spaces by various ways by means of additional functional parameter. For such generalized grand spaces we prove a theorem on the boundedness of linear operators under the information of their boundedness in ordinary weighted Lebesgue spaces. By means of this theorem we prove boundedness of the Hardy-Littlewood maximal operator and the Calderon-Zygmund singular operators in the weighted grand spaces.  相似文献

We establish the vector-valued inequalities of the Ahlfors–Beurling operator on Morrey spaces with variable exponents. As consequences of these inequalities, we have the boundedness of the Ahlfors–Beurling transform on Lebesgue spaces with variable exponents and Morrey spaces. The classical Hardy-Littlewood maximal operator is bounded not only on the classical Lebesgue spaces Lp(Rd) (in the case p > 1), but (in the case when 1/p(·) is log-Hölder continuous and p- = inf{p(x): x ∈ Rd > 1) on the variable Lebesgue spaces Lp(·)(Rd), too. Furthermore, the classical Hardy-Littlewood maximal operator is of weak-type (1, 1). In the present note we generalize Besicovitch’s covering theorem for the so-called γ-rectangles. We introduce a general maximal operator Msγδ, and with the help of generalized Φ-functions, the strong- and weak-type inequalities will be proved for this maximal operator. Namely, if the exponent function 1/p(·) is log-Hölder continuous and p- ≥ s, where 1 ≤ s ≤ ∞ is arbitrary (or p- ≥ s), then the maximal operator Msγδ is bounded on the space Lp(·)(Rd) (or the maximal operator is of weak-type (p(·), p(·))).  相似文献

We study the regularity of Orlicz–Sobolev functions on metric measure spaces equipped with a doubling measure. We show that each Orlicz–Sobolev function is quasicontinuous and has Lebesgue points outside a set of capacity zero and that the discrete maximal operator is bounded in the Orlicz–Sobolev space. We also show that if the Hardy–Littlewood maximal operator is bounded in the Orlicz space $L^{\Psi}(X)We study the regularity of Orlicz–Sobolev functions on metric measure spaces equipped with a doubling measure. We show that each Orlicz–Sobolev function is quasicontinuous and has Lebesgue points outside a set of capacity zero and that the discrete maximal operator is bounded in the Orlicz–Sobolev space. We also show that if the Hardy–Littlewood maximal operator is bounded in the Orlicz space , then each Orlicz–Sobolev function can be approximated by a H?lder continuous function both in the Lusin sense and in norm. We develop a general condition for automatically discretizing strong type bisublinear maximal estimates that arise in the context of the real line. In particular, this method applies directly to Michael Lacey’s strong type boundedness results for the bisublinear maximal Hilbert transform and for the bisublinear Hardy-Littlewood maximal operator, furnishing the counterpart of each of these two results (without changes to the range of exponents) for the sequence spaces We then take up some transference applications of discretized maximal bisublinear operators to maximal estimates and almost everywhere convergence in Lebesgue spaces of abstract measures. We also broaden the scope of such applications, which are based on transference from by developing general methods for transplanting bisublinear maximal estimates from arbitrary locally compact abelian groups.  相似文献

In this paper,we will establish Poincare inequalities in variable exponent non-isotropic Sobolev spaces.The crucial part is that we prove the boundedness of the fractional integral operator on variable exponent Lebesgue spaces on spaces of homogeneous type.We obtain the first order Poincare inequalities for vector fields satisfying Hrmander's condition in variable non-isotropic Sobolev spaces.We also set up the higher order Poincare inequalities with variable exponents on stratified Lie groups.Moreover,we get the Sobolev inequalities in variable exponent Sobolev spaces on whole stratified Lie groups.These inequalities are important and basic tools in studying nonlinear subelliptic PDEs with variable exponents such as the p(x)-subLaplacian.Our results are only stated and proved for vector fields satisfying Hrmander's condition,but they also hold for Grushin vector fields as well with obvious modifications.  相似文献

We introduce the p-adic weighted multilinear Hardy-Cesàro operator. We also obtain the necessary and sufficient conditions on weight functions to ensure the boundedness of that operator on the product of Lebesgue spaces, Morrey spaces, and central bounded mean oscillation spaces. In each case, we obtain the corresponding operator norms. We also characterize the good weights for the boundedness of the commutator of weighted multilinear Hardy-Cesàro operator on the product of central Morrey spaces with symbols in central bounded mean oscillation spaces.  相似文献
