Summary With regard to the non-linear equations of Magneto-Fluid Dynamics in this paper we examine the steady, axially symmetric motion of an incompressible, homogeneous, viscous and electrically conducting fluid when such a fluid moves also around the axis of symmetry. We give some classes of exact solutions and then we generalize the problem taking also in account the Hall effect.

Sunto Nella prima parte di questo lavoro si sviluppa la geometria differenziale del triedro mobile per il gruppo SL(n). La polarità nella sfera unità trasforma una matrice di Frenet C in — C^T per varie geometrie lineari e proiettive. Nella seconda parte si deriva una serie di disuguaglianze integrali basate sulla trasformazione per polarità. Nella terza parte si calcola la trasformazione della matrice Hessiana e della curvatura di Gauss in polarità e ne fa applicazione ai teoremi di rigidità di Liebmann-Hilbert e J?rgens-Calabi-Pogorelov.

According toK. Strubecker ([18]–[21]) a three dimensional real affine space with the metricds ²=dx ²+dy ² is called a simply isotropic spaceJ ₃ ⁽¹⁾ . InJ ₃ ⁽¹⁾ exist 41 types of bundles of linear line complexes. In this paper we study the metric theory of a bundle of type 1. Especially we investigate the congruence of axis, we give some isotropic and affine results and we study the complementary bundle.

Sunto In questa Nota, partendo dalle equazioni relativistiche del moto della particella con massa di quiete variabile, come legge della accelerazione e come legge dell'impulso, accettate entrambe come valide, pur di interpretare correttamente i secondi membri, si ıuole dare un apporto alla validità della legge di trasformazione relativistica del calore di Ott e indicare i possibili motivi che hanno portato alcuni autori a ritenere invece valida quella di Planck.

Summary In this work, starting from the relativistic equations of motion of the variable rest mass particle, considering them as acceleration law and impulse law, since we consider them both valid, under condition we give a right interpretation of both right hand sides, we wish to give our contribution to the validity of Ott law on relativistic transformation of heat and to point out the eventual reasons that led some researches to sustain, on the contrary, the validity of Planck law.

Zur Diskretisierung einer Klasse Fredholmscher Integralgleichungen mit singulärem Wert der Ordnung 1

Summary Two analoguous classes of integral equations respectively systems of linear equations, both singular in operator sense, are defined. Linking them by means of a discretisation technique and utilizing the Fredholm theory we prove, that the solution of the associated discrete problem converges rapidly to that of the integral equation. An error bound of the orderO (n q ⁿ ),tO < q < 1, is given.

Zwei Algorithmen zur Lösung eines komplexen Reihenfolgeproblems

Zusammenfassung Bei der Ordnung von Input-Output-Matrizen treten Kriterien auf, die wesentlich komplexer sind als die Ordnungsbedingungen bei klassischen Reihenfolgeproblemen (z. B.Traveling-Salesman-Problem). Ausgehend von den Arbeiten vonHelmstädter werden im folgenden die mathematische Formulierung eines solchen Reihenfolgeproblems sowie zwei Algorithmen zu dessen Lösung angegeben. Ein Verfahren ist ein lexikographischer Suchalgorithmus, das andere eine Modifikation des bekanntenJacobi-Verfahrens zur Berechnung von EigenwertenHermitescher Matrizen.

Summary On the ordering of input-output matrices we use some criteria which are more complex than the order conditions of classical sequencing problems (e. g.Traveling-Salesman-Problem). Basing on the papers ofHelmstädter we will give a mathematical formulation of this sequencing problem and two algorithms solving them. One procedure is a lexicographic searching algorithm, the other one a modification of the well knownJacobi-method which calculates the eigenvalues ofHermiteian matrices.

A simple proof of a general duality theorem of convex programming

Summary The first part of this note presents concisely and partially proves in logical terms the relations betweenUzawa's andKuhn andTucker's equivalence theorems of nonlinear programming. In the second part we give simple mathematical proofs of two lemmata linking theKuhn-Tucker conditions and dual solutions and use them to establish a nonlinear duality theorem of considerable generality.

Zur Theorie der bedingten Tests

Summary The construction of a most powerful similar test with Neyman structure for composite hypotheses is frequently accomplished by the solution of a class of auxiliary problems asking for the determination of most powerful tests for simple hypotheses on the regions of constancy of a sufficient statistic. In detail, this class of so-called conditional tests has to be constructed so as to yield a test composed by them. This method due to Neyman is among others used by Fraser [3], Kendall-Stuart [6], Lehmann [7], Lehmann-Scheffé [8], Witting [11]. The present paper investigates the suppositions on which this construction is possible and the form of the tests obtained hereby. In particular, it is shown that these tests are easy to determine in the case of dominated hypotheses.
