Vocal cord paralysis is a disease that can cause voice disability and aspiration problems. Expanded polytetrafluoroethylene (ePTFE; Gore-Tex) has been widely used in cardiovascular and plastic surgery; however, its biocompatibility and safety have not been established precisely in the larynx. In this study, the biocompatibility and safety of ePTFE used in vocal cord medialization in the rabbit larynx were assessed. Type 1 thyroplasty with Gore-Tex was performed on one side of the larynx in eight rabbits. A sham procedure was applied on the contralateral side of their larynx. The rabbits were sacrificed after 6 months, and macroscopic and microscopic evaluations and comparisons were performed. No significant inflammatory response to Gore-Tex or displacement of the implant was seen. There was only a tiny fibrotic capsule surrounding the material in each specimen. Intense eosinophilic cell infiltration was seen surrounding one rabbit specimen. Gore-Tex seems to be a biocompatible, stable, and reversible material that can be safely used in laryngeal framework surgery. 相似文献

We have considered a technique for noncontact analysis of compounds and a device for its realization. To construct the device, we have proposed a static Fourier-transform spectrometer that is based on the phenomenon of interference in a wedge. A procedure for obtaining and processing emission spectra has been described. Interference patterns are recorded using sources of excitation radiation of 280 and 315 nm. Basic characteristics of the optical system have been calculated, and emission spectra of test objects have been presented. 相似文献

加速器质谱(AMS)是测量长寿命放射性核素灵敏度最高的分析技术,在环境、地质、考古、物理等领域有着广泛应用。近年来,AMS装置的小型化在国际上得到了很大发展。为了研发小型化AMS装置及其分析技术,中国原子能科学研究院分别自主研制了加速电压为0.2 MV的单极型AMS装置和端电压为0.3 MV的串列型AMS装置。基于研制的单极型AMS装置,成功开展了14C的高效传输和本底排除技术研究,实现了14C的高灵敏测定,14C/12C的测量灵敏度达到2×10–15;利用研制的串列型AMS装置,开展了低能量下129I的气体剥离条件、本底排除和探测方法研究,建立了129I的高效传输和高灵敏测量方法,129I/127I的测量灵敏度为1×10–14。这是国内首次研制成功小型AMS装置,为AMS国产化奠定基础。 相似文献

We have investigated the resistive switching mechanism in solution processed Au-reduced graphene oxide-polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) nanocomposites on flexible substrates. Monodispersed gold nanoparticles (Au NPs) attached to reduced graphene oxide (RGO) in aqueous PVA solution have been synthesized using a novel one pot technique. The fabricated hybrid device showed high On/Off switching ratio more than 103 with low operating voltages. The performance of hybrid device can be effectively enhanced over control RGO device. The switching mechanism occurs from the electrochemical reduction/oxidation process of partially reduced graphene oxide. The proposed devices reveal superior asymmetric bipolar resistive switching characteristics attractive for solution processable flexible and transparent non-volatile memory applications. 相似文献

为研究数字微镜器件在视频全息中的应用,探讨了基于数字微镜器件的全息编码方法。基于数字微镜器件的微观物理结构,讨论二维离散微镜像素结构、开态微镜列的闪耀光栅特性和脉宽调制的微镜偏转工作原理。将数字微镜器件分辨力、微镜尺寸、间隔、旋转角度、参考光入射角以及衍射条件等因素结合到计算全息编码中,提出干涉面抽样方法、相位补偿技术和无偏置二元全息编码方法,使产生的计算全息图适应数字微镜器件独特的空间光调制特性和计算视频全息的要求。实验表明,该方法调整了重构物光波的衍射方向,集中了衍射光在重构像中的分布,增加了成像清晰度和光能有效利用率,提高了全息编码效率。 相似文献

A new technique has been developed based on passive diffusion sampling and alpha track detection for monitoring radon exposure at working places. It is based on a device to be turned on and off at monitoring sites to permit accurate measurements of timed exposures. This technique is useful for radioprotection applications on personal and area monitoring of radon volume activity: timed measurement intervals and addition of sequential exposures. Additionally, the device allows accurate calibration with the application of radon reference atmospheres. Calibration facilities have been realized which allow starting detector exposure only at stationary conditions to avoid effects of varying radon concentration during exposure of passive integrating detectors. The contribution of the initial transient to the overall exposure ranged from about 3% to 10% according to calibration protocol. Experimental data evidence better performances of this new technique with respect to other measuring devices for integrating measurements based on radon diffusion samplers and polymeric nuclear track detectors (CR-39, LR-115 and polycarbonate). A better accuracy of calibration factor is obtained. The technical apparatus is presented and preliminary results described. 相似文献

A prototype memristive device has been presented in this paper, for which the top and bottom electrodes have been fabricated
through a simple and cost-effective technique, i.e. electrohydrodynamic printing. For deposition of the bottom electrode pattern,
a silver ink containing 60 wt% silver by content was subjected to controlled flow through a metal capillary exposed to an
electric field at the ambient temperature to generate an electrohydrodynamic jet, thereby depositing uniform patterns of silver
on glass substrate at a constant substrate speed. The top electrode has been deposited in a similar fashion. In between the
top and bottom electrodes, a uniform layer of ZnO is fabricated using spin-coating technique. The nanoscale ZnO memristor
stack has a channel length of 370 μm and channel width of 82 μm. A memristor thus fabricated was characterized and its current
voltage curves were analyzed. The device showed a typical nonvolatile resistive switching behavior present in memristor devices

A linear ion trap has been designed for collimation and storage of ions from an effusive particle beam generated in a hollow cathode discharge. The motivation is to measure radiative lifetimes on multiply ionized atoms by using the time-resolved laser-induced fluorescence technique. The trap has been tested on iron and tungsten ions both as an ion guide and also as a storing device. Radiative lifetimes have been measured in the trap with a remarkably higher signal-to-noise ratio than in the original effusive atom beam. 相似文献

Nuclear reaction analysis online technique has been applied to study the diffusion of deuterium in metals. Investigations ensuring the application of the new method have been performed. These investigations include the development of a device for diffusion annealing of samples in the chamber of an accelerator and an algorithm for taking into account the effect of radiation defects on the diffusion coefficients. Test measurements of the diffusion coefficients of deuterium in nickel in the temperature range from 130 to–60°С have been performed. For negative temperatures, experimental data on the diffusion of a hydrogen isotope in a metal have been obtained for the first time by a direct method and it has been shown that the online nuclear reaction analysis provides reliable data. 相似文献

The pulse-shaping technique has found widespread applications in nonlinear optics and material processing. Experimental research on laser-induced plasma shutter to control the 532 nm pulse width is conducted. The impacts of the total pulse output energy on pulse compression are investigated, and a useful conclusion can be drawn that there exists an optimal value of pulse energy at which the shortest output pulse of 3.23 ns can be obtained without a device for delay-time. Once the device for delay-time is employed to change the optical differences between two laser paths, the pulse width can be further shortened to 1.51 ns. In short, the 1.5-12 ns width-tunable 532 nm laser pulses have been obtained by adopting the laser-induced plasma shutter technique. 相似文献
