通过对含氟聚合物分子链内旋转构象的分析,发现含氟聚合物与其它结构类型的聚合物一样,其玻璃化转变温度Tg与分子链横截面积A和分子链内旋转让阻因子σ之间的关系遵循同样的规律[1,2]。建议用Tg=973(σ-1.44)来计算含氟聚合物的分子链内旋转位阻因子。内旋转位阻因子相同时,含氟聚合物的玻璃化转变温度较其它结构类型的聚合物为高(图2),可归结为含氟聚合物分子链的紧密堆积。  相似文献

本文采用晶格模型,以动力学链段长度作为统计单元大小,推导了高聚物玻璃化温度T_8和链静态刚性因子σ~2(T_8),链动态刚性因子β(T_8)以及聚合度DP等分子参数之间的关系。具体讨论了链柔性对T_8的影响。理论预测和几十种聚合物的实验数据能较好吻合,分析结果表明T_8值基本上取决于高聚物链σ(T_8)大小。  相似文献

本文为提高聚苯醚磺酸锂(SPPOLi)的导电性能, 将聚乙二醇(PEG)与之共混,DSC分析发现SPPOLi的玻璃化转变温度随PEG的加入有所下降, 并且对于高磺化度的样品下降更为明显; X射线衍射表明, PEG可降低SPPOLi凝聚结构的有序程度;发现通过共混, 电导率有了较大提高, 并且仍保持了单离子的传导性。  相似文献

For nonpolymeric supercooled liquids, the empirical correlation m = 56Tg DeltaCp(Tg)/DeltaHm provides a reliable means of correlating dynamic and thermodynamic variables. The dynamics are characterized by the fragility or steepness index m and the glass transition temperature Tg, while thermodynamics enter in terms of the heat capacity step DeltaCp at Tg and the melting enthalpy DeltaHm. The combination of the above correlation with the 23 rule for the Tg/Tm ratio yields an expression, m = 40DeltaCp(Tg)/DeltaSm, which was rationalized as the correlation of the thermodynamic and kinetic fragilities. Defining a thermodynamic fragility via DeltaCp(Tg)/DeltaSm also reveals that the slopes in Kauzmann's original DeltaS(T)/DeltaSm versus T/Tm plot reflect the fragility concept [Chem. Rev. 43, 219 (1948)], so long as Tm/Tg = 1.5. For the many liquids whose excess heat capacity is a hyperbolic function of temperature, we deduce that the fragility cannot exceed m = 170, unless the Tg/Tm = 2/3 rule breaks down.  相似文献

The purpose of this study is to examine whether molecular dynamics (MD) simulations using a commercially available software for personal computers can estimate the glass transition temperature (Tg) of amorphous systems containing pharmaceutically-relevant excipients. MD simulations were carried out with an amorphous matrix model constructed from isomaltoheptaose, and the Tg estimated from the calculated density versus temperature profile was compared with the Tg measured by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) for freeze-dried isomalto-oligomer having an average molecular weight close to that of isomaltoheptaose. The Tg values determined by DSC were lower by 10 to 20 K than those extrapolated from the Tg values estimated by MD simulation. Fragility parameter was estimated to be 56 and 51 from MD simulation and from DSC measurement, respectively. Thus, the results suggest that MD simulation can provide approximate estimates for the Tg and fragility parameter of amorphous formulations. However, a reduction of the cooling rate, achievable by sufficiently elongating the simulation duration, is necessary for more accurate estimation.  相似文献

Nanoscale sliding friction involving a polystyrene melt near its glass transition temperature Tg (373 K) exhibited dissipation phenomena that provide insight into the underlying molecular relaxation processes. A dissipative length scale that shows significant parallelism with the size of cooperatively rearranging regions (CRRs) could be experimentally deduced from friction-velocity isotherms, combined with dielectric loss analysis. Upon cooling to approximately 10 K above Tg, the dissipation length Xd grew from a segmental scale of approximately 3 A to 2.1 nm, following a power-law relationship with the reduced temperature Xd approximately TR-phi. The resulting phi=1.89+/-0.08 is consistent with growth predictions for the length scale of CRRs in the heterogeneous regime of fragile glass formers. Deviations from the power-law behavior closer to Tg suggest that long-range processes, e.g., the normal mode or ultraslow Fischer modes, may couple with the alpha relaxation, leading to energy dissipation in domains of tens of nanometers.  相似文献

本文用热学、力学和散射方法研完了聚苯醚羧酸盐的链结构、羧化聚苯醚(C-PPO)在二氧六环溶液中用0.5 NaOH或CsOH的醇水溶液中和成钠型或铯型的C-PPO离聚体,用DSC测定一系列羧酸盐含量的C-PPO离聚体的玻璃化转变温度得到形成离子微区的临界阳离子浓度约为5mol%;动态力学谱中在高于玻璃化转变温度域出现的α松弛峰亦证明了微相结构的存在;SAXS结果表明其离子微区的尺寸约为30(?),其尺寸大小和离聚体中阳离子浓度无  相似文献

The relation between a dynamic and a thermodynamic temperature, glass transition Tg and boiling point Tb, is investigated for various glass-forming liquids, with emphasis on monohydroxy alcohols. As is well known, Tb and Tg are positively correlated across a large variety of liquids. However, we found that the same quantities show a negative correlation within an isomeric series, i.e., Tb decreases with increasing Tg for different isomers of the same chemical formula. For the alcohol series, CnH2n+1OH with 3 < or = n < or = 10, a master curve of the negative Tg - Tb correlation is obtained if the temperatures are normalized to the respective values of the n-alkanols. This Tg - Tb dependence of isomeric liquids is linked to entropic effects and responsible for much of the scatter of the correlation observed for a large number of molecular organic glass-formers with 45 < Tg < 250 K. Dielectric relaxation is measured for three groups of isomers: (a) 3-methoxyl-1-butanol and 2-iso-propoxyethanol, (b) 1,4-, 1,2-, and 2,4-pentanediol, and (c) di-n- and di-iso-butyl phthalate. Two key parameters of the dynamics, fragility m and stretching exponent beta, are found to be indistinguishable within isomers of moderately different Tgs. Larger fragility differences are readily expected with pronounced structural change, but no systematic trend is observed within an isomer series. The results provide a useful tool for assessing Tg, m, and beta for marginal glass formers on the basis of their isomers.  相似文献

t In this work,the effect of the fullerene (C60) weight fraction and PB-C60 interaction on the glass transition temperature (Tg) of polymer chains has been systemically investigated by adopting the united atom model of cis-1,4-poly(butadiene) (cis-PB).Various chain dynamics properties,such as atom translational mobility,bond/segment reorientation dynamics,torsional dynamics,conformational transition rate and dynamic heterogeneity of the cis-PB chains,are analyzed in detail.It is found that Tg could be affected by the C60 weight fraction due to its inhibition effect on the mobility of the cis-PB chains.However,Tg is different,which depends on different dynamics scales.Among the chain dynamics properties,Tg is the lowest from atom translational mobility,while it is the highest from the dynamic heterogeneity.In addition,Tg can be more clearly distinguished from the dynamic heterogeneity;however,the conformational transition rate seems to be not very sensitive to the C60 weight fraction compared with others.For pure cis-PB chains,Tg and the activation energy in this work can be compared with those of other polymers.In addition,the temperature dependence of the dynamic properties has different Arrhenius behaviors above and below Tg.The activation energy below Tg is lower than that above Tg.This work can help to understand the effect of the C60 on the dynamic properties and glass transition temperature of the cis-PB chains from different scales.  相似文献

The influences of the free volume and the termperature on the damping property of chlorinated isoprene-isobutylene rubber (CIIR) were first investigated by positron annihilation lifetime spectroscopy (PALS), dynamic mechanical analysis (DMA), and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), respectively. From the variations of ortho-positronium (o-Ps) lifetimes as a function of temperature, two transition temperatures can be observed, i.e., Tg and TB. We found that there exists a pre-rubbery state between the glass transition temperature Tg and TB. The DMA results indicate that the tan delta peak of CIIR has a very broad temperature distribution because of the existence of a liquid-liquid transition (Tll). The temperature dependence of the average free volume size can be linearly fitted below Tg and above TB, respectively. It is very interesting that the difference spectrum of the free volume size between the results fitted by two lines (below Tg and above TB) and experimental data is very similar to the dynamic mechanical spectrum of CIIR. In order to clarify the damping mechanics, the Williams-Landel-Ferry (WLF) equation based on free volume theory has been successfully used to establish a direct quantificational relationship between the free volume and the damping property, which indicates that the free volume plays an important role in determining the damping property.  相似文献

We have employed mannose‐modified gold nanodots (Man–Au NDs) as a luminescence sensor for the detection of the thyroid‐cancer marker thyroglobulin (Tg) in homogeneous solutions. The luminescent Man–Au NDs are prepared through the reaction of 2.9 nm‐diameter gold nanoparticles (Au NPs) with 11‐mercapto‐3,6,9‐trioxaundecyl‐α‐D ‐mannopyranoside (Man‐RSH) under the irradiation of a light‐emitting diode (LED). We have found that the irradiation enhances the quantum yield (~11 %), alters the emission wavelength and lifetimes, and shortens the preparation time. A luminescence assay has been developed for Tg based on the competition between Tg and Man–Au NDs for the interaction with the concanavalin A (Con A). Because luminescence quenching of the Man–Au NDs by Con A is inhibited by Tg selectivity, we have obtained a highly sensitive and selective assay for Tg.  相似文献

The early detection of recurrent differentiated thyroid carcinoma (DTC) cells in the post surgery DTC patients relies on the sensitivity of measuring both the level of thyroglobulin (Tg) and 131-Iodine distribution by Whole Body Scan (WBS). Undetectable level of Tg associated with negative WBS or elevated levels of Tg associated with positive WBS ("concordant") is ordinarily indicative of either absence or presence of disease. At times, elevated level of Tg with negative WBS or low levels of Tg with positive WBS ("discordant") could also occur. In the present study, we retrospectively reviewed series of 573 patients with DTC followed in the Diagnostic Imaging and Radiotherapy of the University "Federico II" of Naples between 1993 and 1997. We focused on 9 out of 573 patients (1.56%) who had a discordant pattern with low level of Tg/positive WBS in the post-surgical follow-up. Four patients were metastatic at presentation while 5 patients with metastasis during follow-up still remained in persistently low levels of Tg (<5 ng/mL). This result does point to some flaw in the evaluation of "discordant" cases. Reviewing data previously described series by resetting cut-off values of Tg <1 ng/ml as undetectable changed the apparent "discordant" subgroup of patients into "concordant". Recent introduction of recombinant human TSH (rhTSH) to enhance the expression level of Tg brought significant increase in the sensitivity of diagnostic evaluation of thyroid cancer patients. The role of burdensome WBS in the follow up evaluation of DTC patients is significantly reduced over time especially in low-risk patients while the relevance of Tg assay is steadily increased. Sensitive Tg assays, significantly improved our ability to assess disease status in follow-up of DTC. Given the possibility of late disease relapses, the need for long-term follow-up, and reduced delay in treatment of persistent disease, there is still need for greater sensitive diagnostic tools for DTC.  相似文献

本文利用椭偏仪研究了成膜方式对不同分子量聚苯乙烯(PS)超薄膜玻璃化转变行为的影响.发现PS超薄膜的玻璃化转变温度(Tg)随着厚度降低的幅度与其成膜方式、分子量有关.当PS膜低于一定厚度时,旋涂法制备的PS膜的Tg比相同厚度浇铸法制备的膜低,且二者Tg差值随着厚度的降低而增大.这二种膜Tg的差值和Tg发生偏离时膜的临界厚度随聚苯乙烯分子量的增加而增加.利用非辐射能量转移荧光光谱证实成膜方式主要是影响PS分子链在膜中的构象.旋涂法制备的PS膜相对于本体在近表面区域分子链的形变更大.分子量愈大,分子运动时内摩擦阻力愈大,近表面区域分子的残余应力愈大.由于强运动能力的活性层(空气/PS界面)对PS薄膜Tg的影响占主导,相同厚度下分子链愈伸展,残余应力越大,PS薄膜的Tg越低,导致成膜方式与分子量的影响也愈大.  相似文献

Using three crystal polymorphs of indomethacin (IMC), we tested two interpretations of the enhanced crystal growth kinetics near the glass transition temperature Tg. This enhancement refers to the stronger temperature dependence of liquid viscosity eta than crystal growth rate (corrected for thermodynamic driving force). This enhancement is attributed in the first interpretation to an increase of the number of preferred interfacial growth sites with decreasing temperature and, in the second interpretation, to the breakdown of the Stokes-Einstein relation in deeply supercooled liquids. We measured the growth rates of the IMC polymorphs (alpha, gamma, and delta) from Tg + 9 K (Tg = 314 K) to near the respective melting points. From Tg + 19 K to Tg + 69 K, the growth rates of the polymorphs changed by 10(4) fold but displayed the same temperature dependence (eta-0.78) after corrections for thermodynamic driving forces. These results argue for a liquid-state origin of the enhanced growth kinetics. Below ca. Tg + 19 K, delta IMC continued to grow in the same spherulite morphology but alpha and gamma IMC grew in different, fiberlike morphologies and, if measured consistently, at faster rates. We conclude that the liquid dynamics of IMC controls its crystal growth kinetics over a wide range of temperatures but changes of growth morphologies near Tg also lead to apparent acceleration of growth of certain polymorphs. This work also extended a previous study of D-sorbitol to lower temperatures to enable a broader analysis of crystal growth kinetics of organic molecules near Tg.  相似文献

Thymine glycol (Tg), 5,6-dihydroxy-5,6-dihydrothymine, is formed in DNA by the reaction of thymine with reactive oxygen species. The 5R Tg lesion was incorporated site-specifically into 5'-d(G(1)T(2)G(3)C(4)G(5)Tg(6)G(7)T(8)T(9)T(10)G(11)T(12))-3'; Tg = 5R Tg. The Tg-modified oligodeoxynucleotide was annealed with either 5'-d(A(13)C(14)A(15)A(16)A(17)C(18)A(19)C(20)G(21)C(22)A(23)C(24))-3', forming the Tg(6) x A(19) base pair, corresponding to the oxidative damage of thymine in DNA, or 5'-d(A(13)C(14)A(15)A(16)A(17)C(18)G(19)C(20)G(21)C(22)A(23)C(24))-3', forming the mismatched Tg(6) x G(19) base pair, corresponding to the formation of Tg following oxidative damage and deamination of 5-methylcytosine in DNA. At 30 degrees C, the equilibrium ratio of cis-5R,6S:trans-5R,6R epimers was 7:3 for the duplex containing the Tg(6) x A (19) base pair. In contrast, for the duplex containing the Tg(6) x G(19) base pair, the cis-5R,6S:trans-5R,6R equilibrium favored the cis-5R,6S epimer; the level of the trans-5R,6R epimer remained below the level of detection by NMR. The data suggested that Tg disrupted hydrogen bonding interactions, either when placed opposite to A(19) or G(19). Thermodynamic measurements indicated a 13 degrees C reduction of T(m) regardless of whether Tg was placed opposite dG or dA in the complementary strand. Although both pairings increased the free energy of melting by 3 kcal/mol, the melting of the Tg x G pair was more enthalpically favored than was the melting of the Tg x A pair. The observation that the position of the equilibrium between the cis-5R,6S and trans-5R,6R thymine glycol epimers in duplex DNA was affected by the identity of the complementary base extends upon observations that this equilibrium modulates the base excision repair of Tg [Ocampo-Hafalla, M.
