Three‐dimensional porous platinum (Ptpor) films are prepared based on Pt electrodeposition on polyaniline (PANI) modified electrodes followed by selective dissolution of PANI with HNO3. Electrochemical quartz crystal microbalance data suggest that the PANI‐H2PtCl6 interaction involves redox and coordination reactions, depending on the working potential. The Ptpor shows better electrocatalytic performance than the Pt/PANI and conventionally electrodeposited Pt. The Ptpor modified glassy carbon electrode (GCE) can electrocatalyze the oxidation of H2O2 with a sensitivity of 414 µA cm?2 mM?1 and a detection limit of 9 nM, and the chitosan‐glucose oxidase/Ptpor/GCE can sense glucose with a sensitivity of 93.4 µA cm?2 mM?1.  相似文献

The efficient electron injection by direct dye‐to‐TiO2 charge transfer and strong adhesion of mussel‐inspired synthetic polydopamine (PDA) dyes with TiO2 electrode is demonstrated. Spontaneous self‐polymerization of dopamine using dip‐coating (DC) and cyclic voltammetry (CV) in basic buffer solution were applied to TiO2 layers under a nitrogen atmosphere, which offers a facile and reliable synthetic pathway to make the PDA dyes, PDA‐DC and PDA‐CV, with conformal surface and perform an efficient dye‐to‐TiO2 charge transfer. Both synthetic methods led to excellent photovoltaic results and the PDA‐DC dye exhibited larger current density and efficiency values than those in the PDA‐CV dye. Under simulated AM 1.5 G solar light (100 mW cm?2), a PDA‐DC dye exhibited a short circuit current density of 5.50 mW cm?2, corresponding to an overall power conversion efficiency of 1.2 %, which is almost 10 times that of the dopamine dye‐sensitized solar cell. The PDA dyes showed strong adhesion with the nanocrystalline TiO2 electrodes and the interface engineering of a dye‐adsorbed TiO2 surface through the control of the coating methods, reaction times and solution concentration maximized the overall conversion efficiency, resulting in a remarkably high efficiency.  相似文献

Efficient and durable nonprecious metal electrocatalysts for the oxygen reduction (ORR) are highly desirable for several electrochemical devices, including anion exchange membrane fuel cells (AEMFCs). Here, a 2D planar electrocatalyst with CoOx embedded in nitrogen‐doped graphitic carbon (N‐C‐CoOx) was created through the direct pyrolysis of a metal–organic complex with a NaCl template. The N‐C‐CoOx catalyst showed high ORR activity, indicated by excellent half‐wave (0.84 V vs. RHE) and onset (1.01 V vs. RHE) potentials. This high intrinsic activity was also observed in operating AEMFCs where the kinetic current was 100 mA cm?2 at 0.85 V. When paired with a radiation‐grafted ETFE powder ionomer, the N‐C‐CoOx AEMFC cathode was able to achieve extremely high peak power density (1.05 W cm?2) and mass transport limited current (3 A cm?2) for a precious metal free electrode. The N‐C‐CoOx cathode also showed good stability over 100 hours of operation with a voltage decay of only 15 % at 600 mA cm?2 under H2/air (CO2‐free) reacting gas feeds. The N‐C‐CoOx cathode catalyst was also paired with a very low loading PtRu/C anode catalyst, to create AEMFCs with a total PGM loading of only 0.10 mgPt‐Ru cm?2 capable of achieving 7.4 W mg?1PGM as well as supporting a current of 0.7 A cm?2 at 0.6 V with H2/air (CO2 free)—creating a cell that was able to meet the 2019 U.S. Department of Energy initial performance target of 0.6 V at 0.6 A cm?2 under H2/air with a PGM loading <0.125 mg cm?2 with AEMFCs for the first time.  相似文献

A photoelectrochemical (PEC) cell consisting of an n‐type CdS single‐crystal electrode and a Pt counter electrode with the ruthenium–2,2′‐bipyridine complex [Ru(bpy)3]2+/3+ as the redox shuttle in a non‐aqueous electrolyte was studied to obtain a higher open‐circuit voltage (VOC) than the onset voltage for water splitting. A VOC of 1.48 V and a short‐circuit current (ISC) of 3.88 mA cm?2 were obtained under irradiation by a 300 W Xe lamp with 420–800 nm visible light. This relatively high voltage was presumably due to the difference between the Fermi level of photo‐irradiated n‐type CdS and the redox potential of the Ru complex at the Pt electrode. The smooth redox reaction of the Ru complex with one‐electron transfer was thought to have contributed to the high VOC and ISC. The obtained VOC was more than the onset voltage of water electrolysis for hydrogen and oxygen generation, suggesting prospects for application in water electrolysis.  相似文献

Present work mainly focuses on experimental investigation to improvement of hydrogen production by water photoelectrolysis. An experimental facility was designed and constructed for visible light photocatalysis. A series of N‐TiO2 photocatalysts impregnated with platinum on the surface of N‐TiO2 were prepared. Hydrogen production upon irradiating aqueous Pt/N‐TiO2 suspension with visible light was investigated. The shift in excitation wavelength of TiO2 was 380 nm improved the yield of hydrogen production by N‐TiO2 and Pt/N‐TiO2. We used a 400 W mercury arc lamp combined with a 400 nm cutoff filter eliminating all the wavelengths under 400 nm. Pt/N‐TiO2 material was characterized with TPR, reflective UV/Visible spectroscopy and TEM. The best hydrogen production rate obtained for this setup for N/Ti = 10, 0.05 wt% Pt/N‐TiO2, through water splitting was about 772 μmolh?1g?1.  相似文献

A feasible strategy is reported for the synthesis of a disk‐like Pt/CeO2‐p‐TiO2 catalyst derived from the titanium‐based metal–organic framework (MOF) MIL‐125(Ti) through a few valid steps. To verify the successful synthesis and structural features of the Pt/CeO2‐p‐TiO2 catalyst, as‐prepared samples were characterized using several techniques. The characterizations demonstrated that MOF‐derived porous TiO2 was appropriate for application as a support owing to its moderate surface area (101 m2 g?1) and suitable pore size (6 nm). Moreover, to study the effect of calcination temperature on the catalytic performance, the obtained catalyst was calcined at various temperatures. It was found that Pt/CeO2‐p‐TiO2 calcined at 550 °C exhibited the highest catalytic performance, evaluated by means of the reduction of 4‐nitrophenol monitored by UV–visible spectra. Furthermore, this catalyst showed good reusability with a conversion of 94% even after six cycles. Finally, a possible reaction mechanism was proposed to explain the reduction of 4‐nitrophenol to 4‐aminophenol over the Pt/CeO2‐p‐TiO2 catalyst.  相似文献

Two‐dimensional conjugated aromatic networks (CAN) with ultra‐thin conjugated layers (ca. 3.5 nm) and high single‐metal‐atom‐site density (mass content of 10.7 wt %, and 0.73 metal atoms per nm2) are prepared via a facile pyrolysis‐free route involving a one‐step ball milling of the solid‐phase‐synthesized polyphthalocyanine. These materials display outstanding oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) mass activity of 47 mA mgcat.?1 represents 1.3‐ and 6.4‐fold enhancements compared to Pt and Pt/C in benchmark Pt/C, respectively. Moreover, the primary Zn‐air batteries constructed with CAN as an air electrode demonstrate a mass/volume power density of 880 W gcat.?1/615 W cmcat.?3 and stable long‐term operation for 100 h. This strategy offers a new way to design high‐performance electrocatalysts with atomic precision for use in other energy‐storage and conversion applications.  相似文献

This work reports a comprehensive electroanalytical study of carbon nanohorns (CNHs) in electrochemical applications. Compared to other types of carbons, the bare CNHs electrode exhibited higher peak current densities and lowest anodic peak‐to‐cathodic peak separation of less than 50 mV for the [Fe(CN)4?]6/[Fe(CN)3?]6 redox couple. Furthermore, CNHs exhibited excellent electrocatalyst supporting properties for porous Pt film towards methanol oxidation reaction reaching a peak current density of 127 mA cm?2 or peak current mass activity 184 mA mgPt?1. Regarding oxygen reduction reaction, an onset potential as positive as 0. 77 V vs. Ag/AgCl was achieved with CNHs/porous Pt film.  相似文献

A new modified carbon‐ceramic electrode was prepared by incorporating TiO2 nanoparticle into sol‐gel network by accompanying apple tissue. A mixture of fine graphite powder with 15 wt% of TiO2 nanoparticle was used for the preparation of the carbon matrix and finally modification with a known amount weighted of apple tissue. The apple tissue containing polyphenol oxidase enzyme acts as molecular recognition element. The electrocatalytic oxidation of dopamine was investigated on the surface of the nanobiocomposite modified carbon‐ceramic electrode using cyclic voltammetry, chronoamperometry and amperometry techniques. Effect of pH, scan rate, TiO2 percentage on the response of modified electrode was studied. The prepared modified electrode presented a linear range for dopamine from 5.0×10?6 to 1.2×10?3 M in buffered solutions with pH 7.4 by amperometry. The detection limit was 3.41×10?6 M dopamine. The response of the modified carbon‐ceramic electrode and unmodified carbon‐ceramic electrode was compared.  相似文献

The incorporation of highly active but also highly sensitive catalysts (e.g. the [FeFe] hydrogenase from Desulfovibrio desulfuricans) in biofuel cells is still one of the major challenges in sustainable energy conversion. We report the fabrication of a dual‐gas diffusion electrode H2/O2 biofuel cell equipped with a [FeFe] hydrogenase/redox polymer‐based high‐current‐density H2‐oxidation bioanode. The bioanodes show benchmark current densities of around 14 mA cm?2 and the corresponding fuel cell tests exhibit a benchmark for a hydrogenase/redox polymer‐based biofuel cell with outstanding power densities of 5.4 mW cm?2 at 0.7 V cell voltage. Furthermore, the highly sensitive [FeFe] hydrogenase is protected against oxygen damage by the redox polymer and can function under 5 % O2.  相似文献

The usefulness of a C60‐fullerene modified gold (Au) electrode in mediating the oxidation of methionine in the presence of potassium ions electrolyte has been demonstrated. During cyclic voltammetry, an oxidation peak of methionine appearing at +1.0 V vs. Ag/AgCl was observed. The oxidation current of methionine is enhanced by about 2 times using a C60 modified gold electrode. The current enhancement is significantly dependent on pH, temperature and C60 dosage. Calibration plot reveals linearity of up to 0.1 mM with a current sensitivity of close to 50 mA L mol?1 and detection limit of 8.2×10?6 M. The variation of scan rate study shows that the system undergoes diffusion‐controlled process. Diffusion coefficient and rate constant of methionine were determined using hydrodynamic method (rotating disk electrode) with values of 1.11×10?5 cm2 s?1 and 0.0026 cm s?1 respectively for unmodified electrode while the values of diffusion coefficient and rate constant of methionine using C60 modified Au electrode are 5.7×10?6 cm2 s?1 and 0.0021 cm s?1 respectively.  相似文献

The anodic electrochemiluminescence (ECL) of dissolved oxygen with 2‐(dibutylamino) ethanol (DBAE) on platinum electrode has been reported previously by our group. Interestingly, the ECL intensity can be greatly amplified at TiO2 nanoparticles modified platinum electrode (TiO2/Pt), which is due to the catalytic effect of TiO2 nanoparticles to electrochemical oxidation of DBAE. It is the first case to obtain the enhanced ECL from luminophor by electrochemical catalysis of co‐reactant. The enhanced anodic ECL intensity can be quenched by dopamine sensitively. And the ECL intensity versus the logarithm of concentration of dopamine was linear over the 4.0×10?12–1.8×10?8 M (R2=0.9957), with the limit of detection of 2.7×10?12 M (S/N=3).  相似文献

Thionine (TH) adsorbed on multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) increases the load and dispersion of platinum nanoparticles (PtNPs) generated by chemical reduction of H2PtCl6 with NaBH4. Under the optimum conditions, the PtNPs‐TH‐MWCNTs/Au electrode electrocatalyzed the reduction and oxidation of H2O2 with high sensitivity, and after glucose oxidase (GOx) adsorption it responded to glucose concentration with a sensitivity of 0.14 A M?1 cm?2. The cyclic voltammetric cathodic peak current for NO2? reduction on PtNPs‐TH‐MWCNTs/Au responded linearly to NO2? concentration from 0.5 to 150 µM, with a sensitivity of 5.52 A M?1 cm?2 and a detection limit of 0.2 µM.  相似文献

Graphene‐supported Si‐TiO2 (Si‐Ti‐GE) composites have been synthesized by a simple polymerization and sintering method. In the Si‐Ti‐GE composites, many small Si‐TiO2 particles are scattered on the graphene sheet, which can mitigate the agglomeration of the material and further reduce the particle size. The initial discharge capacities of Si‐TiO2, Si‐Ti‐GE‐1, Si‐Ti‐GE‐2, and Si‐Ti‐GE‐3 are 336.9, 337.2, 339.8, and 356.6 mAh g−1 at the current density of 200 mA g−1, respectively. The discharge rate capacities of TiO2, Si‐TiO2, and Si‐Ti‐GE‐3 composites retain 57.5%, 41.7%, and 82.1% at the current density from 100 to 400 mA g−1, respectively. Therefore, the introduction of graphene not only could facilitate the Li+ diffusion and electron transport but also could make better electrical conductivity.  相似文献

We report a prototype air‐breathing carbon cloth‐based electrode that was fabricated starting from a commercially available screen‐printed electrode equipped with a transparent ITO working electrode (DropSens, ref. ITO10). The fabrication of the air‐breathing electrodes is straightforward, shows satisfactory reproducibility and a good electrochemical response as evaluated by means of [Fe(CN)6]3?/4? voltammetry. The gas‐diffusion electrodes were successfully modified with the O2 reducing enzyme bilirubin oxidase from Myrothecium verrucaria in a direct electron transfer regime. The enzyme modified electrodes showed a remarkable high current density for O2 reduction in passive air‐breathing mode of up to 5 mA cm?2. Moreover, the enzyme modified electrodes were applied as O2 reducing biocathodes in a glucose/air enzymatic biofuel cell in combination with a high current density glucose oxidase/redox polymer bioanode. The biofuel cell provides a high maximum power density of (0.34±0.02) mW cm?2 at 0.25 V. The straightforward design, low cost and the high reproducibility of these electrodes are considered as basis for standardized measurements under gas‐breathing conditions and for high throughput screening of gas converting (bio‐)catalysts.  相似文献

In this work, a novel sensor for detecting hydrogen peroxide was constructed on the base of nanotubular TiO2 and platinum nanoparticles. The morphology, structural, and electrochemical properties of the Pt/TiO2 nanocomposite electrodes were characterized by SEM, XRD and electrochemical methods. With an operating potential of +0.3 V versus Ag/AgCl, the sensor produces catalytic oxidation currents at the nanocomposite electrode, which can be exploited for quantitative determinations. The amperometric signals are linearly proportional to hydrogen peroxide concentration in the range 4×10?6 to 1.25×10?3 M. The regression equation is I (μA)=0.85 c (mM)+0.16 with a correction coefficient of 0.997. At a signal‐to‐noise ratio of 3, a detection limit of 4.0 μM H2O2 can be observed for the nanocomposite electrode. In addition, the sensor has a good stability and reproducibility. The construction process is simple and inexpensive. The results demonstrated that nanotubular TiO2 exhibits great prospect for developing a class of ideal and novel bioreactors and biosensors.  相似文献

The device performance of sensitizer‐architecture solar cells based on a CuSbS2 light sensitizer is presented. The device consists of F‐doped SnO2 substrate/TiO2 blocking layer/mesoporous TiO2/CuSbS2/hole‐transporting material/Au electrode. The CuSbS2 was deposited by repeated cycles of spin coating of a Cu‐Sb‐thiourea complex solution and thermal decomposition, followed by annealing in Ar at 500 °C. Poly(2,6‐(4,4‐bis‐(2‐ethylhexyl)‐4H‐cyclopenta[2,1‐b;3,4‐b′]dithiophene)‐alt‐4,7(2,1,3‐benzothiadiazole)) (PCPDTBT) was used as the hole‐transporting material. The best‐performing cell exhibited a 3.1 % device efficiency, with a short‐circuit current density of 21.5 mA cm?2, an open‐circuit voltage of 304 mV, and a fill factor of 46.8 %.  相似文献

In this work, CdS sensitized TiO2 nanotube arrays (CdS/TiO2NTs) electrode was synthesized with the CdS deposition on the highly ordered titanium dioxide nanotube arrays (TiO2NTs) by sequential chemical bath deposition method (S‐CBD). The as‐prepared CdS/TiO2NTs was characterized by field‐emission scanning electron microscopy (FE‐SEM) and X‐ray diffraction (XRD). The results indicated that the CdS nanoparticles were effectively deposited on the surface of TiO2NTs. The amperometric It curve on the CdS/TiO2NTs electrode was also presented. It was found that the photocurrent density was enhanced significantly from 0.5 to 1.85 mA/cm2 upon illumination with applied potential of 0.5 V at the central wavelength of 253.7 nm. The photoelectrocatalytic (PEC) activity of the CdS/TiO2NTs electrode was investigated by degradation of methyl orange (MO) in aqueous solution. Compared with TiO2NTs electrode, the degradation efficiencies of CdS/TiO2NTs electrode increased from 78% to 99.2% under UV light in 2 h, and from 14% to 99.2% under visible light in 3 h, which was caused by effective separation of the electrons and holes due to the effect of CdS, hence inhibiting the recombination of electron/hole pairs of TiO2NTs.  相似文献

In this study, a silicic acid and tetra isopropyl ortho titanate ceramic precursor and a metallocene polyethylene‐octene elastomer (POE) or acrylic acid grafted metallocene polyethylene‐octene elastomer (POE‐g‐AA) were used in the preparation of hybrids (POE/SiO2? TiO2 and POE‐g‐AA/SiO2? TiO2) using an in situ sol‐gel process, with a view to identifying a hybrid with improved thermal and mechanical properties. Hybrids were characterized using Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, 29Si solid‐state nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), X‐ray diffraction, differential scanning calorimetry, thermogravimetry analysis, dynamic mechanical thermal analysis, and Instron mechanical testing. Properties of the POE‐g‐AA/SiO2? TiO2 hybrid were superior to those of the POE/SiO2? TiO2 hybrid. This was because the carboxylic acid groups of acrylic acid acted as coordination sites for the silica‐titania phase to allow the formation of stronger chemical bonds. 29Si solid‐state NMR showed that Si atoms coordinated around SiO4 units were predominantly Q3 and Q4. The 10 wt % SiO2? TiO2 hybrids gave the maximum values of tensile strength and glass transition temperature in both POE/SiO2? TiO2 and POE‐g‐AA/SiO2? TiO2. It is proposed that above this wt %, excess SiO2? TiO2 particles caused separation between the organic and inorganic phases. © 2005 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. A sensor based on graphite electrode modified with palladium‐platinum‐palladium film is proposed for phosphite determination by flow‐injection amperometry. The modified electrode was prepared by a sequential cathodic deposition of Pd, Pt and Pd on a graphite electrode from 0.5% m/v PdCl2+28% m/v NH4OH and 2% m/v H2PtCl6+10% v/v H2SO4 solutions. After suitable conditioning, the electrode showed catalytic activity for phosphite oxidation when 0.15 V was applied. The proposed system handles approximately 50 samples per hour (0.01–0.05 mol L?1 Na2HPO3; R2=0.9997), consuming ca. 70 μL of sample per determination. The limit of detection and amperometric sensibility were 5×10?4 mol L?1 and 1.5 mA L mol?1, respectively. The proposed method was applied to analysis of fertilizer samples without pre‐treatment. Results are in agreement with those obtained by spectrophotometry and titrimetry at 95% confidence level and good recoveries (96–109%) of spiked samples were found. Relative standard deviation (n= 12) of a 0.01 mol L?1 Na2HPO3 sample was 2%. The useful lifetime of modified electrode was around 220 determinations. For routine purposes it means that this electrode can be continuously used for 5 hours.  相似文献
