We consider the properties on solutions of some q-difference equations of the form ∑ n j=0 aj(z)f(qj z)=an+1(z), where a0(z),..., an+1(z) are meromorphic functions, a0(z)an(z) ≠ 0 and q ∈ C such that 0 〈 |q| ≤ 1. We give estimates on the upper bound for the length of the gap in the power series of entire solutions of (*) when the coefficients a0(z),..., an+1(z) are polynomials and 0 〈 |q| 〈 1. For some special cases, we give estimates of growth of f(z). And we also show that the case 0 〈 |q| 〈 1 is different from the case |q|=1. 相似文献

Here presented are the definitions of(c)-Riordan arrays and(c)-Bell polynomials which are extensions of the classical Riordan arrays and Bell polynomials.The characterization of(c)-Riordan arrays by means of the A-and Z-sequences is given,which corresponds to a horizontal construction of a(c)-Riordan array rather than its definition approach through column generating functions.There exists a one-to-one correspondence between GegenbauerHumbert-type polynomial sequences and the set of(c)-Riordan arrays,which generates the sequence characterization of Gegenbauer-Humbert-type polynomial sequences.The sequence characterization is applied to construct readily a(c)-Riordan array.In addition,subgrouping of(c)-Riordan arrays by using the characterizations is discussed.The(c)-Bell polynomials and its identities by means of convolution families are also studied.Finally,the characterization of(c)-Riordan arrays in terms of the convolution families and(c)-Bell polynomials is presented. 相似文献

Recently, q-Bernstein polynomials have been intensively investigated by a number of authors. Their results show that for q ≠ 1, q-Bernstein polynomials possess of many interesting properties. In this paper, the convergence rate for iterates of both q-Bernstein polynomials and their Boolean sum are estimated. We establish the existence, uniqueness and the blow-up rate of the large positive solution of the quasi-linear elliptic problem -△pu=λ(x)u^θ-1-b(x)h(u), in Ω,with boundary condition u = +∞ on δΩ, where Ω R^N (N≥2) is a smooth bounded domain, 1 〈 p 〈∞ λ(·) and b(·) are positive weight functions and h(u) ~ uq-1 as u → ∞. Following Jacobi's geometrization of Lagrange's least action principle, trajectories of classical mechanics can be characterized as geodesics on the configuration space M with respect to a suitable metric which is the conformal modification of the kinematic metric by the factor (U + h), where U and h are the potential function and the total energy, respectively. In the special case of 3-body motions with zero angular momentum, the global geometry of such trajectories can be reduced to that of their moduli curves, which record the change of size and shape, in the moduli space of oriented m-triangles, whose kinematic metric is, in fact, a Riemannian cone over the shape space M^*≌S^2 (1/2).
In this paper, it is shown that the moduli curve of such a motion is uniquely determined by its shape curve (which only records the change of shape) in the case of h≠0, while in the special case of h = 0 it is uniquely determined up to scaling. Thus, the study of the global geometry of such motions can be further reduced to that of the shape curves, which are time-parametrized curves on the 2-sphere characterized by a third order ODE. Moreover, these curves have two remarkable properties, namely the uniqueness of parametrization and the monotonieity, that constitute a solid foundation for a systematic study of their global geometry and naturally lead to the formulation of some pertinent problems. 相似文献

These results extend results of Chow and of Li and Spataru from the indepen- dent and identically distributed case to the identically distributed negatively associated setting. We study the equation −Δu + u q = 0, q > 1, in a bounded C 2 domain Ω ⊂ ℝ N . A positive solution of the equation is moderate if it is dominated by a harmonic function and σ-moderate if it is the limit of an increasing sequence of moderate solutions. It is known that in the subcritical case, 1 < q <, q c = (N + 1)/(N − 1), every positive solution is σ-moderate [32]. More recently, Dynkin proved, by probabilistic methods, that this remains valid in the supercritical case for q ≤ 2, [15]. The question remained open for q > 2. In this paper, we prove that for all q ≥ q c , every positive solution is σ-moderate. We use purely analytic techniques, which apply to the full supercritical range. The main tools come from linear and non-linear potential theory.
